GOP Says DOJ Shut Down Potential Campaign Finance Prosecution in Hunter Case

House Republicans Friday accused the Department of Justice of quashing an investigation into a wealthy Democratic Party donor who helped pay off some of Hunter Biden’s unpaid taxes.

The House Ways and Means Committee pointed to the trove of material it obtained last month from IRS whistleblowers that included an allegation that a top prosecutor in the U.S. attorney’s office in Delaware dismissed IRS agents’ worries about a potential campaign finance violation related to the donor, Kevin Morris.

The whistleblowers provided the material, which was used in the Department of Justice’s investigation into Hunter Biden, after they testified to Congress that they had witnessed the DOJ extend preferential treatment to Hunter Biden, President Joe Biden’s son, and allow statutes of limitations to expire for certain tax crimes that could have been brought against him.

COVID Shots Tied to 17 Million ‘Vaccine Deaths’

A new study shockingly has linked the mRNA shots, the DNA treatments used as vaccines during the COVID-19 pandemic that came out of a Chinese lab working on bat viruses, to millions of sudden deaths.

The study by Correlation Research in the Public Interest is titled, “COVID-19 vaccine-associated mortality in the Southern Hemisphere,” and looked at 17 equatorial and Southern-Hemisphere countries including Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Malaysia, New Zealand, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Suriname, Thailand and Uruguay.

They include 9.1% of the world’s population and reported 10.3% of the world’s COVID shots.

“In the 17 countries, there is no evidence in all-cause mortality (ACM) by time data of any beneficial effect of COVID-19 vaccines,” the stunning results found. “There is no association in time between COVID-19 vaccination and any proportionate reduction in ACM. The opposite occurs.”

The COVID shots, mostly mRNA-based shots that actually are not vaccines, but are DNA therapies, were fabricated in a rush to respond to COVID, and governments, corporations and organizations demanded people around the world take them. Jim Jordan Wins GOP Nomination for Speaker of the House

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan won the House Republican Conference’s nomination to become the Speaker of the House of Representatives on Friday, after his primary competitor, Majority Leader Steve Scalise, dropped out of the race.

Jordan, who has represented Ohio’s 4th Congressional District since 2007, won a secret ballot of conference members by a vote of 124 to 81, with the remainder going to Republican Rep. Austin Scott of Georgia, who entered the race on Friday.

In a second ballot of the conference, which asked members whether they would support Jordan on the floor following his nomination, he received the support of 152 members, with 55 members voting to indicate they would not support his nomination on the floor. The House Republican Conference has a narrow majority of four seats in the chamber and will require nearly all members to vote in favor of Jordan for him to be elected speaker. IRS Misled Taxpayers in Surveys and Made up Cost Estimates for New Filing Initiative, Watchdog Report Finds

The IRS misled taxpayers in surveys and generated unsubstantiated cost and user estimates for a new direct online tax filing initiative, a new watchdog report concluded.

The U.S. Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) released a report on Oct. 2 assessing the IRS’s plan for a free e-filing system and the TIGTA concluded that the IRS misled taxpayers in surveys about the e-file system and failed to produce data to justify its cost and user estimates.

“The IRS obtained taxpayer opinions on a Direct File system. However, taxpayer interest in a Direct File tool may be overstated due to the design of the surveys conducted,” the report states. “In addition, the survey prompt may have led taxpayers to believe that the tool would have more options than it will immediately have available, such as the ability to file State tax returns.”

“Finally, the IRS could not provide TIGTA with any supporting documentation to support its cost estimates or how it determined there would be at least 5 million users. As a result, TIGTA had no way to identify the reasonableness of the IRS’s cost estimates,” the report adds. Biden Trips Before Saying Hamas Makes ‘Al Qaeda Look Pure’

President Biden stumbled twice Friday while walking up the steps of a stage in Philadelphia — before telling his audience that Al Qaeda terrorists seem “pure” next to those from “evil” Hamas.

The 80-year-old president initially staggered as he began to climb a small set of stairs to the stage, then lurched forward as he threatened to lose his balance completely — recalling a bad spill he took earlier this year during the Air Force Academy commencement exercises.

When Biden regained his footing, he theatrically gripped the railing with both hands and mugged for his audience before making his way to the lectern and giving an unexpected appraisal of the global terror network that carried out the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, killing 2,977 people at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and Shanksville, Pa.

“These guys make — they make Al Qaeda look pure. They’re pure evil,” Biden said of the Palestinian jihadist organization that rules the Gaza Strip. “As I said from the beginning, the United States, make no mistake about it, stands with Israel.”

Thousands of Dead Bodies Lie Under Major U.S. City

The city of San Francisco is apparently built atop countless forgotten cemeteries, according to an article published Wednesday.

San Francisco’s city leaders banned burials back in the early 20th century, but that doesn’t mean the city is teeming with forgotten graves from long before the ban came into play, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. Locals might think the only cemeteries within the city are the military site in Presidio and the Mission Dolores cemetery, but they’d be wrong.

Apparently, there were cemeteries throughout the Bay Area, many of which were overtaken during the development of downtown’s residential neighborhoods that started to sprawl. While many grave sites were moved in the building of the once beautiful city, plenty of corpses were never actually transferred to their new resting places.

As a result, there are likely thousands of bodies hiding under the streets of San Francisco. Saints Peter and Paul Church nearing Washington Square sits atop a former cemetery, as does the San Francisco Public Library at the Civic Center. Even the site of the old Forever 21 in downtown was once a cemetery!

How Much Credit Card Debt Do Americans Hold?

Americans’ total credit card balance rose $45 billion in the second quarter, reaching $1 trillion for the first time ever in 2023, according to Q2 data from the New York Federal Reserve.

This made the yearly average U.S. household $7,951 in credit card debt.

Two major factors contributed to this — one being inflation, which drove up consumer credit card debt by the billions, with a 9.1% peak in 2022. The second was the steady climb in interest rates, increasing already high debts.

Bombarded with tempting offers on a daily basis, even those with high credit scores are at risk. Credit card interest rates are at an all-time high from 16% to 20% according to Bankrate. When the Federal Reserve raised interest rates, credit companies followed. With inflation making the cost of living a struggle, most Americans resorted to credit cards to cover expenses. Senator Urges Joe Biden to Use Special Forces to Rescue Americans Hostages From Hamas

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) urged President Joe Biden in a letter on Thursday to use American special forces to help rescue at least 14 American hostages from Hamas.

Cotton wrote to Biden and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin in a letter obtained by Breitbart News, “National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said today that at least 14 American citizens are unaccounted for after Hamas attacked Israel last weekend. Some of these missing Americans are presumed to be hostages of the Hamas terrorists.”

The Arkansas senator said that the United States has special forces that can help rescue Americans taken hostage:

The United States has special-operations forces specially trained in hostage rescue, and these forces are already in Israel to assist with intelligence and planning efforts. I urge you to use these elite warriors in a hands-on role to rescue the American hostages. Nothing can be taken for chance. Israel is our closest partner, but the safety of American citizens is the responsibility of the United States government.

We have a duty to act, including with the use of force if necessary to save our fellow Americans. Now is the time for bold and audacious action, not timid half measures or bureaucratic constraints. I’m confident the American people will support its government in all actions necessary to rescue these Americans from the savages in Gaza.

Airstrikes Cripple Syria’s Two Main Airports Before Iranian Foreign Minister Was Expected to Arrive: Reports

Airstrikes crippled the runways at the two main airports in Syria on Thursday as Iran’s foreign minister was reportedly expected to arrive in the country.

Syrian-state media blamed the strikes on Israel, which declined to comment on the matter. The airports that were targeted were international airports in the Syrian capital of Damascus and the northern city of Aleppo.

The Wall Street Journal reported that Syrian air defenses tried to respond to the incident, which came a day before Hossein Amir-Abdollahian was expected to arrive in the country. No one was believed to be hurt in the airstrikes on the airports.

The incident comes after Palestinian terrorists launched an unprecedented wave of attacks in Israel several days ago, killing more than 1,300 people and injuring more than 3,000. At least 27 Americans were killed, and more than a dozen were still unaccounted for. Hamas Terror Leader Calls for Muslim Uprising ‘Everywhere’ on Friday the 13th

By WND. In the aftermath of his organization’s decision to spark a regional war that easily could turn into a much larger conflagration, Hamas leader Khalid Mashal now is calling for a further uprising. . .

In a video posted online by the Liberty Daily, Mashal spends minutes praising the terrorists who last weekend launched a depraved attack on Israel, killing probably 1,000 innocent civilians including babies who were gruesomely decapitated.

He blames the violence on the “criminal occupation” of Israel in line with his group’s ideology that calls for, like the Iranian regime demands, the total elimination of Israel.

It was Iran that likely funded some of the costs of the barrage of attacks that now has triggered Israel into a fullscale lockdown of Gaza, and its probable destruction.

Mashal threatens: “There is an invitation on Friday. Friday. A flood to Al-Aqsa. But they do it before Friday, after Friday, and on Friday. Israeli Diplomat Draws ‘Clear Link’ to Iran in Hamas Attacks

By Politico. Israel’s ambassador-designate to Canada says he believes Iran was involved in the weekend’s deadly Hamas rampage on Israel.

“It’s clear that there is direct involvement in what is happening right now,” Iddo Moed told POLITICO on Tuesday.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken has said the U.S. has yet to see evidence. French President Emmanuel Macron told reporters Tuesday that he’d seen “no formal trace” that Iran was directly involved. The Israel Defense Forces said Iran’s involvement can’t be ruled out despite the lack of proof.

Asked for evidence, Moed pointed to August meetings that took place in Beirut between the heads of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard’s Al-Quds Force, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah and Hamas.
