Media Outlets Apologize for Correctly Identifying Transgender Shooter as a Woman

By New York Post. The New York Times and USA Today complied with radical gender ideology by apologizing for correctly identifying the Nashville Christian School shooting suspect as a woman.

Soon after the shooting at Nashville’s Covenant School on Monday, in which three students and three adults were shot and killed, police identified the suspected shooter as 28-year-old Audrey Hale. A little while later, officials stated that Hale, who was killed by police during the attack, identified as transgender — meaning Hale allegedly believed she was a man.

Following the revelation that Audrey was a woman who identified as a man, both USA Today and The New York Times were quick to issue statements on Twitter, seemingly apologizing for adhering to biological reality by correctly calling Hale a woman. The publications also appeared to scrub references to Hale as a female from online news articles.

Shooter Audrey Hale’s Parents ‘Couldn’t Accept’ Their Daughter’s Trans Identity: Report

By New York Post. Nashville shooter Audrey Hale’s parents “couldn’t accept” their 28-year-old daughter’s transgender, gay lifestyle, according to a report.

The Daily Mail reported that Hale’s strict Christian parents, Norma, 61, and 64-year-old Ronald, struggled to come to terms with their daughter’s gender identity and sexuality.

Metro Nashville Police Chief John Drake recently announced Hale was transgender. He said police were investigating whether Hale being transgender played a role in her decision to target the private Christian elementary school.

Hale, who also went by the name “Aiden” and used he/him pronouns, would reportedly change clothes after leaving the family home where she lived. (Read more from “Shooter Audrey Hale’s Parents ‘Couldn’t Accept’ Their Daughter’s Trans Identity: Report” HERE)

Bragg’s Case Against Trump Has a U.S. Constitution Problem

According to press reports, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is close to indicting Donald Trump, or at least wrestling with the decision. While Trump has predicted “death and destruction” if he is arrested, his defenders should focus instead on the prosecution’s legal flaws. In fact, at the heart of the case rests a critical — but so far unexplored — defect that should bring down Bragg’s house of cards.

According to leaks from the DA’s office, Bragg intends to seek a grand-jury indictment of Trump for a $130,000 hush-money alleged payoff to porn star Stephanie Clifford (a.k.a. Stormy Daniels). Nondisclosure deals do not by themselves violate criminal law. The DA’s star witness is Trump’s fixer, Michael Cohen, who was convicted of a federal felony for carrying out the scheme. (Cohen has proven such an unreliable witness that federal prosecutors decided to drop any further investigation into the payoff years ago.) The apparent claim here is that Trump violated the law by trying to account for the hush money as a payment to bagman Cohen for “legal services.”

But fiddling with the corporate books can only support a misdemeanor charge, one that has to be brought within two years of the act. As the payoff occurred in 2016, the Manhattan DA ran out of time years ago. So to elevate this minor infraction into a felony incurring significant jail time and subject to a longer statute of limitations, Bragg apparently plans to claim that Trump falsified his business records to conceal another crime. What crime? According to press reports, Bragg claims that Trump violated federal campaign-finance laws by concealing what was effectively a contribution to his own presidential efforts.

In other words, if he proceeds (which is not yet completely clear), Bragg would charge Trump because he did not pay Clifford out of campaign funds. It is not even clear that Bragg could prove that the payment had anything to do with the campaign, as Trump could claim that he would have paid the hush money anyway to spare his wife and family from humiliation. Transgender School Shooter’s Chilling Final Messages to Pal Revealed

Nashville school shooter Audrey Hale sent a friend a chilling “suicide note” minutes before slaughtering three children and three adults — writing her: “I’m planning to die today.”

Hale, 28, messaged Averianna Patton, her former middle school basketball teammate, on Instagram at 9:57 a.m. Monday, NewsChannel 5 reported.

“So basically that post I made on here about you, that was basically a suicide note. I’m planning to die today,” Hale wrote, using the name Aiden, according to messages Patton gave the outlet.

“THIS IS NOT A JOKE!!!” wrote Hale, who identified as transgender. “You’ll probably hear about me on the news after I die.”

Hale added: “This is my last goodbye. I love you … See you again in another life.” She signed the missive “Audrey (Aiden).” (Read more from “Transgender School Shooter’s Chilling Final Messages to Pal Revealed” HERE)

Disturbed Journalists Mock Prayer, Drag Show Ban After Christian School Massacre

After a shooter killed three children and three staff members at a private Christian grade school in Nashville, Tennessee, on Monday, some journalists, columnists, entertainers and activists turned their ire onto Christians and conservatives for banning drag shows for kids.

Left-wing sports writer Mike Wise seemed to agree with a tweet that sympathized with the transgender shooter, Audrey Hale, 28, whom police say attended the school as a child, for being a victim of “intolerant … brainwashing” through “religious indoctrination.” . . .

“I don’t condone Audrey Hale’s actions, though I understand their outrage against an intolerant state that brainwashes children through religious indoctrination. The reality is this human still identified as that child attending that school and carried that pain into adulthood,” a Twitter user named Kat Amarco wrote. . .

Progressive talk show host David Pakman mocked the Christian school for not “praying enough.”

“Very surprising that there would be a mass shooting at a Christian school, given that lack of prayer is often blamed for these horrible events. Is it possible they weren’t praying enough, or correctly, despite being a Christian school?” he asked in a since-deleted tweet. Singer to Perform Concert in Nashville, Donate Proceeds to ‘Trans Rights’ Groups

Pop icon Madonna just announced that she is adding a Nashville stop on her upcoming “Celebration Tour,” set to begin later this year.

The 64-year-old singer made the announcement on Instagram on Monday, stating that she added the Nashville concert at Bridgestone Arena because of new Tennessee laws that severely restrict drag shows and so-called “gender-affirming care” for children. She criticized those laws as “unfounded and pathetic” and claimed that they make “America a dangerous place for our most vulnerable citizens, especially trans women of color.”

“The oppression of the LGBTQ+ is … unacceptable and inhumane,” Madonna stated. . .

“Anyone with half a brain knows not to f*** with a drag queen,” Madonna wrote on Instagram. “Bob and I will see you from the stage in Nashville where we will celebrate the beauty that is the Queer community!”

At about the same time that Madonna posted on social media about the Nashville concert, her website likewise issued an announcement about the Nashville show. Unfortunately, the timing of the announcements coincided with the news that a female suspect who identified as transgender had murdered three adults and three children at a Christian school in Nashville. The decision to add Nashville to the schedule likely did not come in response to the shooting, and neither announcement about Madonna’s Nashville concert makes reference to the shooting, the shooter, or the Christian identity of the victims. General Admits U.S. Oversight of Weapons Going to Ukraine Is ‘Not as Rigorous as You Might Think’

The United States has a limited ability to ensure the billions in weapons sent to Ukraine stays out of the wrong hands, Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Mark Milley told Congress on Tuesday.

The Pentagon has previously acknowledged the difficulty of guaranteeing the final destination of more than $30 billion in weapons aid delivered so far to Ukraine. An ability to maintain only a small contingent of non-combat personnel dedicated to oversight at the embassy in Kyiv means it relies mostly on Ukrainian soldiers to inspect aid at destinations closer to the front lines and upload photos of weapons to a secure software for confirmation.

“There are some means and mechanisms of doing some accountability. It is not as rigorous as you might think,” Milley told Congress, adding he could elaborate on the reporting mechanism in a classified setting.

Milley pointed to the effectiveness of Ukraine’s forces as a proxy for the integrity of U.S. assistance in Ukraine.

“You can see the accountability on the battlefield,” he said. (Read more from “General Admits U.S. Oversight of Weapons Going to Ukraine Is ‘Not as Rigorous as You Might Think’” HERE)

Jan. 6 Defense Ditches Witness After Judge Forbids Bringing Up Her Work as an FBI Informant: Reports

A Jan. 6 defendant’s team ultimately chose not to call a previously intended witness at trial Monday after the judge decided her history as an FBI informant could not be raised, according to multiple reports.

As former Proud Boys National Chairman Enrique Tarrio and members Ethan Nordean, Zachary Rehl, Joseph Biggs and Dominic Pezzola continued their federal trial for allegedly conspiring to oppose the January 2021 transfer of presidential power, the government revealed Wednesday that a woman Tarrio’s lawyers wanted to call as a witness had been an official FBI confidential human source from April 2021 to January 2023. The woman, identified by The New York Times as Jen Loh, had reportedly given the FBI information beginning in fall 2019, but presiding Judge Timothy Kelly indicated Monday that her relationship with the bureau was irrelevant to the case, Lawfare’s Robert Parloff reported.

Tarrio’s attorney Sabino Jauregui subsequently said he would agree to free Loh from subpoena without calling her to testify Monday, according to Parloff. Loh told the FBI around Jan. 9 that she had been subpoenaed in the case and participated in a deposition, the DOJ admitted Thursday, and FBI San Antonio Special Agent Kristina Spindel said her source relationship with the bureau ended around Jan. 18.

During her time as an FBI source, Loh had communicated with one or more defense lawyers, participated in prayer meetings with one or more defendants’ families and talked with one of the defendant’s family members about replacing one of the defense counsel, Rehl’s lawyer Carmen Hernandez said in a Wednesday motion. The motion called for the release of any FBI or DOJ reports, recordings and memoranda about “reporting on and recordings of the defense team,” but the DOJ replied that no such records existed.

Senator Calls for Federal Hate Crime Investigation Into Shooting at Nashville Christian School

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) called on FBI Director Christopher Wray and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to open a federal hate crime investigation into the Monday shooting at a Christian elementary school in Nashville, Tennessee.

Police say a 28-year-old woman who identified as a transgender man killed three 9-year-old children and three adults at The Covenant School, which is associated with the conservative evangelical Covenant Presbyterian Church. Authorities revealed that the shooter, whom The Daily Wire will not name in accordance with company policy, executed a “targeted attack” and left behind a “manifesto.”

Hawley contended that the nature of the fatal shooting might indicate a specific desire to harm Christians. “Yesterday the nation witnessed the vicious murder of small schoolchildren in Nashville, Tennessee,” he wrote in a letter to the senior Biden administration officials. “It is commonplace to call such horrors ‘senseless violence.’ But properly speaking, that is false. Police report that the attack here was ‘targeted’ — targeted, that is, against Christians.”

The Republican lawmaker added that federal law criminalizes acts of violence based on their actual or perceived “religion.” Police detectives believe the shooter had “some resentment” for having to attend that school.

“I urge you to immediately open an investigation into this shooting as a federal hate crime,” Hawley continued. “The full resources of the federal government must be brought to bear to determine how this crime occurred, and who may have influenced the deranged shooter to carry out these horrific crimes. Hate that leads to violence must be condemned. And hate crimes must be prosecuted.” (Read more from “Senator Calls for Federal Hate Crime Investigation Into Shooting at Nashville Christian School” HERE)

Insanity: Garland Says Hate Crime Prosecution Premature Since Motive Unknown (VIDEO)

Republican lawmakers pressed Attorney General Merrick Garland on Tuesday whether the Justice Department will open a hate crime investigation one day after a mass shooter killed six people at a Christian private school.

“I realize that the shooter is dead, but the shooter could have had collaborators. Do you plan on opening a hate crime investigation for the targeting of Christians?” Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) asked Garland at a Senate Appropriations Committee hearing.

Garland noted that the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives had been on the scene working with local law enforcement and that “as of now, motive hasn’t been identified.”

“We are certainly working full-time with them to try and determine what the motive is, and, of course, motive is what determines whether it’s a hate crime or not,” the attorney general said. Poll: Only 25% Of Democrats Prefer Joe Biden

Only 25 percent of Democrats preferred President Joe Biden launch a 2024 reelection campaign, a Monmouth University Poll revealed Monday.

The number marks a dangerous low point for the president, who is expected to announce a 2024 campaign in April, according to media reports.

Although 25 percent preferred Biden to run for reelection, 44 percent did not want Biden to seek reelection. Thirty percent of Democrats felt indifferent to his potential campaign.

Among Democrats who identified as “strong Democrats,” which account for over half the party’s electorate, 36 percent wanted Biden to not run for reelection. Thirty-six percent also said they did want him to run for reelection. (Read more from “Poll: Only 25% Of Democrats Prefer Joe Biden” HERE)
