Joe Biden: Threats of Hunter Biden Investigations From Republicans ‘Almost Comedy’

President Joe Biden dismissed upcoming investigations by House Republicans on Wednesday when they ultimately take control of the House of Representatives as expected.

“Lots of luck in your senior year as my coach used to say,” Biden scoffed when asked about investigations into his administration and his family.

The president spoke about looming investigations during a press conference at the White House regarding the results of the midterm elections. . .

Biden referred to reports that Trump was asking Republicans how many times they planned to impeach him.

“I mean, I think the American people will look at all that for what it is – it’s almost comedy,” he said. (Read more from “Joe Biden: Threats of Hunter Biden Investigations From Republicans ‘Almost Comedy’” HERE)

Dead Man Reelected in Pennsylvania

A Pennsylvania man who died earlier this year was reelected to his position as a state representative.

Democrat Tony DeLuca, the longest-running Pennsylvania state representative, at 39 years, died last month at 85 of lymphoma, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Because of his recent death, election authorities were unable to change the ballots, and many voters chose him over Green Party challenger Queonia “Zarah” Livingston, marked by a sizable lead. A special election will be held to choose a proper candidate to take his seat.

“While we’re incredibly saddened by the loss of Representative Tony DeLuca, we are proud to see the voters to continue to show their confidence in him and his commitment to Democratic values by re-electing him posthumously. A special election will follow soon,” Pennsylvania House Democrats said in a tweet.

Ukraine War: Biden Says Russia Pulling Out of ‘Fallujah’ in Latest Brutal Gaffe

In an ugly Freudian slip Wednesday, President Biden accidentally said Russian troops were pulling out of “Fallujah” while intending to reference the city of Kherson in southeastern Ukraine.

Biden’s latest gaffe came after Russian forces leader Sergey Surovikinon announced he’d ordered his troops to retreat from one of the only major cities Russia captured after its Feb. 24 invasion.

“I think the context is that whether or not they’re pulling back from Fallujah – from the city of Kherson – and [Russian forces] are coming back across the river to the eastern side of the [Dnieper} river,” Biden said while answering a reporter’s question about whether Ukraine is ready to enter negotiations with Russia.

In November and December of 2004, Fallujah was the setting of the bloodiest urban conflict American forces had fought since the Vietnam War and is widely remembered as a key moment in the US invasion of Iraq.

Approximately 12,000 US troops fought in the battle, 82 of whom were killed, while about another 600 were wounded, according to the Pentagon. The US killed about 2,000 insurgents in the battle and captured another 1,200, military officials estimated. Guess What’s Causing Delayed Results in Nevada?

The race between Republican Adam Laxalt and Democratic Senator Maggie Hassan is razor thin as votes in Nevada continue to be counted.

But according to the New York Times, a new batch of mail-in votes will delay final counts.

“Overwhelmed election officials in Nevada say that they have been flooded by thousands of mail-in ballots, and that it may take several days to count the votes and upload results. Last year, the state began requiring that mail-in ballots be sent to every registered voter. While ballots must be postmarked by Election Day, they can be counted if they arrive as late as Saturday,” the New York Times reports. “Elections officials have emphasized the need for patience and have not offered predictions on how quickly they will be able to offer tallies. Jamie Rodriguez, the interim registrar of voters in Washoe County, said she was expecting roughly 16,000 mail-in ballots to arrive on Election Day. She said that those votes would not be counted until Thursday because poll workers were so behind.” (Read more from “Guess What’s Causing Delayed Results in Nevada?” HERE)

New Hope Arises in Arizona for Republicans After Ballot Update

It was a bad election day, all things considered, for the Republican Party on Tuesday as the red wave diminished to a trickle. Tough decisions lie ahead, but perhaps there’s some glimmer of hope on the horizon.

New numbers coming out of Arizona are not only showing the races there tightening but GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake is likely favored to win over Democrat Katie Hobbs. Blake Masters, who is running for senate, also now has a clear, though, more difficult path to beat Democrat Mark Kelly.

You may remember the primary race that took place in Arizona some months ago. Kari Lake was actually down double digits late into the night. It wasn’t until the days after election day that she overtook her GOP rival to become the gubernatorial candidate. That’s because Arizona typically counts election day votes last and Lake’s voters were the type who voted on election day. That dynamic is continuing in the general election, and as it stands, it does appear there are enough ballots outstanding for Lake to come out victorious assuming there’s not a surprise drop of mail-in ballots that aren’t being considered in the equation. Biden’s DOJ Is ‘Monitoring’ These Polling Places; Election Issues Mount in Arizona, Republicans Lawyer Up

By Townhall. . .On the eve of the 2022 elections, the Biden administration’s Department of Justice announced its ground forces will be “monitoring” 64 jurisdictions in 24 states on Election Day. The Biden regime operatives were dispatched to ballot-casting locations across America—in almost half of U.S. states—to oversee federal election law “compliance.”

The nationwide deployment of federal election monitors is an expansion of the DOJ’s in-person surveillance of the ballot box, a notable increase from the 2020 presidential election when 44 jurisdictions across 18 states were surveilled by the feds.

DeSantis-led Florida, the battleground state of Pennsylvania, and mayhem-erupted Maricopa County are on the DOJ’s radar. Alaska, Arkansas, Missouri, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Utah weren’t on the DOJ’s watch list two years ago, but have now made the roster.

Chicago and Cook counties in Illinois were on this list when President Joe Biden was elected; however, today, no polling places in the consistently blue Praire State have drawn DOJ observation. Over in Arizona, three “monitored” counties have grown to five, while Pima County—the southwestern state’s second-most populous, which holds Tucscon—is among the new additions.

Also, the DOJ’s civil rights division will be fielding complaints from the public regarding “possible violations” of voting rights law through its call center and online complaint form. Keep in mind, this is the same government tendril whose “civil rights” trial attorneys are prosecuting 11 pro-life leaders, who are facing federal prison time over the peaceful protest of an abortion clinic. MAYHEM IN MARICOPA: Election Issues Mount in Arizona, Republicans Lawyer Up

By Townhall. As the election wheels seem to have come off at several polling places in Arizona, Kari Lake’s legal team is urging voters to stay in line and cast their ballots despite growing lines and questions about how ballots will be handled.

But while questions swirl about what may be going on and who is ultimately responsible for the issues apart from Arizona’s Democrat Secretary of State Katie Hobbs — who refused to recuse herself from official SoS duties while running against Lake in the gubernatorial contest — Kari Lake and her campaign had planned for issues such as those that have come to light already on Tuesday morning.

As Townhall reported earlier in November, Lake announced she was “bringing in the big guns” to run her election day legal efforts — led by Harmeet Dhillon — who Lake said would be working “to ensure every Arizonan’s vote is fairly counted and to swiftly respond to any claims of fraud or voter suppression.”

Dhillon, the GOP super-lawyer who also serves as the RNC Committeewoman from California, founded the Center for American Liberty, and is founding partner of Dhillon Law Group, tweeted on Tuesday morning that “there are dozens of Republican lawyers monitoring the tabulating situation” causing issues for Arizona voters. She added that the GOP legal staff is “speaking with the county lawyers” and “ensuring that votes WILL count.” (Read more from “MAYHEM IN MARICOPA: Election Issues Mount in Arizona, Republicans Lawyer Up” HERE)

Votes in Key Arizona County Are Being ‘Misread’

By Townhall. Twenty percent of voting machines in the county are down according to Maricopa County election officials. . .

Poll workers at a key voting location in Arizona’s Maricopa County announced Tuesday morning that voting machines at a polling station in Anthem are not working. A significant number of ballots are being misread, but election officials claim individuals are still able to cast their ballots properly.

Trump: DeSantis a ‘Fine Guy,’ but He Could ‘Hurt Himself Very Badly’ by Running in 2024

Former President Trump said if he formally announces a 2024 White House bid and is re-elected, he would return to the nation’s capital with experience and a new perspective, without having to rely on Washington insiders, and would build on his “unbeatable” America First record.

The former president sat for a wide-ranging interview on Trump Force One, a Boeing 757, Monday night with Fox News Digital and four other reporters after teasing during a rally in Dayton, Ohio that he plans make a “major” announcement from Mar-a-Lago on Nov.15, likely regarding the launch of his possible third presidential campaign. . .

Before that though, Trump is calling for a GOP leadership change in Congress, specifically pointing to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky. He also warned potential Republican presidential candidates, like Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, against running against him in 2024, saying it would not “be good for the party.”

Reflecting on his administration from 2017 to 2021 and people he tapped to serve in top cabinet posts, Trump said, “I never did this before.”

“Part of the problem was that I wasn’t a Washington person,” Trump said. “You have to rely on people — I had a lot of great people, but I had to rely on people who were RINOs.” (Read more from “Trump: DeSantis a ‘Fine Guy,’ but He Could ‘Hurt Himself Very Badly’ by Running in 2024” HERE)

Enraged Biden Takes Out Midterm Anger on Staffer: Report

President Joe Biden let his anger over Democrats’ projected midterm losses boil over and lost his temper on a high ranking staffer, sources familiar with the matter told Bloomberg.

Reports of the outburst come as Democrats take turns pointing fingers over the expected red wave in Tuesday’s elections. Biden is known for letting his anger flare in front of aides, and he reportedly lost his temper at Brian Deese, director of Biden’s National Economic Council. Bloomberg reported, citing three anonymous sources, though a White House spokesperson told the Daily Caller News Foundation that Chief of Staff Ron Klain disputed the report.

Biden was also reportedly angry that aides had told him inflation was “transitory” as prices have remained sky-high over the past several months.

The economy is performing poorly under Deese’s leadership, while numerous polls have also found that the economy is the most important issue for voters and that Americans trust Republicans more than Democrats to handle the economy.

Biden has publicly aired his anger on several other recent occasions: he called Fox News reporter Peter Doocy a “stupid son of a bitch” in January, and he snapped at a group of protesters and called them “idiots” at a Saturday campaign event in Illinois. Voters Say View From White House Is Largely Divorced From What’s Happening in Their Lives

President Biden’s insistence that the economy is strong — and certainly not in a recession — rang hollow Tuesday to voters who said the view from Pennsylvania Avenue is largely divorced from what they see in their lives.

At polling places across the country, voters were signaling worries about the direction of Washington, which for the last two years has seen Democrats control the levers of political power.

The pain of inflation ran deep, with roughly three-quarters of voters telling exit pollsters rising prices have affected them — particularly at the grocery store. Many of them said their own personal financial situation had worsened over the last two years.

Mr. Biden seemed to take the brunt of the blame, garnering a 41% favorability rating in the early exit polling returns for most of the broadcast networks. A separate poll by The Associated Press and Fox News showed a similar low approval rating.

Less than a quarter of voters thought the economy is in good shape, and 7 in 10 weren’t satisfied with the direction of the country, including a third in the networks’ preliminary exit polling who were downright angry. Kamala’s Husband Tells Dems to Get in Line if Biden Quits Before 2024

Vice President Kamala Harris’s husband has told Democrats that the party should rally behind her if President Joe Biden chooses not to seek reelection in 2024, according to a new report.

The effort by second gentleman Doug Emhoff to box out Harris’s potential future rivals “causes eye-rolling” inside the White House and comes as some officials question the vice president’s prospects going into 2024, Politico reported Tuesday.

While West Wing officials “believe Harris is on stronger footing now than she was in her first year [they] remain skeptical about her viability in 2024,” the outlet said. (Read more from “Kamala’s Husband Tells Dems to Get in Line if Biden Quits Before 2024” HERE)
