The Military That Cried ‘White Supremacy’

In retrospect, maybe the military should have spent a little less time worrying about “white supremacists” and paid more attention to black Muslims. As you’ve no doubt heard by now, an Army veteran, Shamsud-Din Jabbar, who happened to be a black Muslim, slaughtered 14 New Year’s revelers in New Orleans last week.

For the past four years, the Pentagon, the Department of Homeland Security and President Biden have warned about the looming threat of white supremacy amid constant references to Jan. 6 — but not to BLM, in which police officers actually died. Apart from getting more girls and transgenders into the military, it seems like rooting out “white supremacists” has become the military’s full-time job. (Proposed new U.S. Marines’ slogan: “We’re looking for a few good men … who think they’re women.”)

Biden, repeatedly: “According to the intelligence community, terrorism from white supremacy is the most lethal threat to the homeland today. Not ISIS, not al-Qaida — white supremacists.”

To deal with the crisis, the greatest fighting force in the world scoured the social media accounts of its white troops, in search of “ties to white supremacists or violent extremists.” Considering the vast amounts of truthful information censored from social media under Biden — e.g., about COVID, masking, social distancing, Biden’s senile dementia, Hunter Biden’s laptop — I’d love to see what the military considered evidence of “ties to white supremacists.”

Even before Biden was sworn in, the Pentagon made a big point of announcing that troops guarding the inauguration — especially those who would be close to Biden and Kamala Harris! — would be carefully vetted. (I just hope that crack unit of muffin-topped gals who almost got Donald Trump killed in Butler, Pennsylvania, were available.) (Read more from “The Military That Cried ‘White Supremacy’” HERE)

What Does the 2024 Bible ‘Verse of the Year’ Reveal About Our Culture?

As the presidential election, economic instability, and foreign wars dominated headlines this year, a significant number of people appear to have turned to the Bible to comfort their anxiety.

YouVersion — the most popular Bible app in the world — named Philippians 4:6 the Bible “verse of the year” after users highlighted, bookmarked, and shared it more than any other verse in the Bible.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God,” the verse, written by the apostle Paul, says.

The words “prayer” and “peace” were the most searched terms in the app this year, reflecting the themes in the app’s top 10 most popular Bible verses. At Bible Gateway — a popular Bible website — the most popular New Testament chapter of 2024 was Philippians 4, yet more evidence that people are searching for comfort in a chaotic and disordered world. . .

Through October 2024, Bible sales had increased 22% compared to the same period in 2023. In the first 10 months of the year, Americans had purchased 13.7 million Bibles. At that pace, total sales for the entire year will far surpass 2023, when Americans purchased 14.2 million Bibles. . .

It’s easy to explain away the Bible sales boom as Americans looking to the word of God for hope and answers to their anxiety. I believe, however, that it reflects a growing realization that postmodern liberalism is a failed cultural experiment. The Most Politically Absurd Things Americans Had to Endure This Year

Let’s face it, there was more than enough stupid to go around this year.

If 2024 taught us anything, it’s that there is no bottom in matters of the politically absurd. Remember, somebody thought it was a good idea for Joe Biden to debate Donald Trump. Fani Willis thought her deadbeat paramour Nathan Wade was worth every dime. And Kristi Noem believed her Old Yeller moment would be endearing. But then again someone in the Trump transition team thought the dog-killing South Dakota governor and close personal friend of Corey Lewandowski would make a fine Homeland Security secretary, so clearly there’s no accounting for taste. . .

Pelosi Claiming Biden Belongs on Mount Rushmore

After President Joe Biden malfunctioned at the late June debate, top Democrats orchestrated the soft coup that got rid one of the left’s leading obstacle to keeping the White House. Biden, we were told, was graciously stepping aside and “passing the torch” to defend democracy, or some such nonsense. The Democratic Party and the useful idiots in the accomplice media told us how selfless and noble the dementarian was for putting “patriotism above party,” as if they hadn’t just pushed the old man off the reelection train.

California Rep. Nancy Pelosi, whose fingerprints were all over the political hit job, stomped in stiletto heels on Biden’s political corpse as she insisted she had nothing to do with his ouster. More audaciously, The former speaker said Biden’s melon belonged next to Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, and the first President Roosevelt. Shunning Friends And Family For Their Political Beliefs Is An Affront To The Spirit Of Christmas

Every year, various movie versions of Charles Dickens’ classic A Christmas Carol air on our televisions, reminding us of the importance of putting others first and how Christmas is a time of reconciliation instead of division.

Unfortunately, in modern-day America, we have forgotten that message.

After Donald Trump’s recent election victory, leftist Yale fellow Amanda Calhoun commented on why family members who voted for Kamala Harris should refuse to celebrate the holidays with their friends and family members: “So, if you are going into a situation where you have family members, where you have close friends who you know have voted in ways that are against you … it’s completely fine to not be around those people and to tell them why.”

As I write in my recent book, Stumbling Toward Utopia: How the 1960s Turned Into a National Nightmare and How We Can Revive the American Dream: “This is not new. In the last few political cycles, commentators on the Left openly called for children to confront, vilify, and humiliate any relatives, including parents, who may have voted for conservatives, at family get-togethers such as Thanksgiving and Christmas.”

Thus, these holidays, when Americans normally put their differences aside to appreciate each other, have turned into a battle royale of angry partisan warfare. (Read more from “Shunning Friends And Family For Their Political Beliefs Is An Affront To The Spirit Of Christmas” HERE)

Signs of the Collapse of Corporate Media Influence Are Everywhere

Within hours of the 2024 election being called for Donald Trump, I published this piece declaring the end of the era of corporate media dominance.

“The Road to the White House no longer goes through 60 Minutes, CNN, Fox News, Meet the Press, the New York Times editorial board, or the cover of Time Magazine,” I wrote. “That road now runs through the Joe Rogan Experience, Breitbart News, New Media, podcasts, talk radio, and social media.”

However, I also wrote that we will never be rid of the corporate media. The propaganda value is worth too much for the massive multinational corporations and billionaires who own these outlets to ever give them up.

Nevertheless, once the affirmative action of carriage fees through pay TV comes to an end (where you are forced to subscribe to a cable/satellite package that includes channels you never watch and those channels still receive an unearned piece of your monthly payment) CNN and MSNBC will no longer be profitable. They cannot survive on merit (advertising fees based on viewers), but they will always be around because soulless liars like Joy Reid, Jake Tapper, Brian Stelter, Nicole Wallace, Rachel Maddow, and Dana Bash do and say what their corporate and Deep State masters tell them to do and say.

Well, so what? Let them talk to each other in their velvet-lined echo chamber of serial hoaxes and intolerance. In the only arena that matters to the corporate media, the arena of influencing, shaping, and manipulating public opinion, they have already lost. The Lesson Some Leftists Have Learned From Trump’s Win Should Terrify Americans

Since Donald Trump’s landslide victory over Kamala Harris last Tuesday, the legacy press has been hosting a public inquest into her demise. Three competing theories soon dominated the discussions — only one of which accepted the reality that Americans rejected the far-left policies and candidate on the merits.

While some Democrats and media outlets took this somber approach to the post-mortem, a second and more vocal segment of the press and Harris voting bloc instead declared that Trump’s election proves a majority of Americans are racist, sexist autocrats. The election of Barack Obama, Harris’ previous victories as a senator and a vice-presidential candidate, coupled with the increase in support Donald Trump garnered from minorities and women, quickly disprove this theory.

After an intense and nerve-wracking election season, these delusional tirades provided the still-sane populace some much needed levity. But Republicans should also note that at least a small segment of the left plans to double down on identity politics and prepare to counter these messages — not merely to protect their electoral victory, but more importantly to return to the pre-DEI unity that reigned supreme in our country until Barack Obama somehow converted his election as the first African-American president into a launchpad for racial divisiveness.

But it is a third theory for Trump’s resounding victory, posited by many on the left, that should cause grave concern to liberty lovers because it forewarns of an acceleration of efforts to control the marketplace of ideas. Here, Harris’ loss was blamed not on the far-left policies and candidate voters rejected or on the supposed racist and sexist beliefs of the electorate, but on voters purportedly being “misinformed” by the right-wing controlled media.

By the end of last week, this theme had flooded the airways and social media. But it was the New Republic’s article, “Why Does No One Understand the Real Reason Trump Won?,” that best capsulated this spin. Kamala Harris Admits That Everything She Said About Trump Was A Lie

Failed presidential candidate Kamala Harris admitted on Wednesday that she knew every single attack she launched against President-Elect Donald Trump and his presidency was a bald-faced lie.

More than twelve hours after Trump delivered a stunning blow to the regime and swept both the popular vote and Electoral College, Harris took the stage at Howard University to begrudgingly concede. She could have conceded in the wee hours of the morning, but that would have required showing up when it mattered — something she clearly doesn’t do (see her disastrous handling of Afghanistan).

But it wasn’t her hollow speech about “unity” and “joy” that stood out. It was the moment she openly confessed to spreading egregious falsehoods about Trump for months, all in a desperate attempt to sway the election.

“To the young people that are watching, it is okay to feel sad and disappointed,” Harris said. “But please know it’s going to be okay.” . . .

How can it be okay when Harris told us that her opponent is a fascist? She said a Trump victory would be “dangerous” and a “huge risk for America.” Harris claimed that Trump “wants to send the military after American citizens” and that “he is out for unchecked power.” She painted him as an existential threat to “democracy” itself. I Was Giddy When the FBI Raided Mar-a-Lago, but Now I’m Voting for Trump

By most metrics, I’d be categorized as a young conservative. I am a 22-year-old college student. I interned for a Republican in the U.S. Senate. I was elected president of my former college’s Republican club. No one would mistake me for a progressive activist.

But if you had asked me a year ago about the 2024 presidential election, I would have told you that I was hopeful the Republican Party would move on from Donald Trump. In fact, I would have supported Joe Biden before backing Trump, even though I did not like much of anything about Biden. . .

I eagerly watched the Jan. 6 Committee hearings. I was excited when New York State Attorney General Letitia James sued Trump for financial fraud. When legal scholars from the Federalist Society wrote that the 14th Amendment barred him from the presidency, I was hopeful he might finally be done for good. When the FBI raided Mar-a-Lago, I felt justice might soon be served against the man who had brought our country to the brink. . .

But over the past year, my view of Trump has evolved, and my view of the broader political landscape has also changed. It became clear to me that while Trump is far from perfect, he is not the true existential threat. The existential threat we face comes from the Democrat Party and Kamala Harris.

The Democrat Party is endangering the foundations that hold America together. This threat is multidimensional, but no concern is more immediate than the Democrats’ creation and defense of an immigration system that has completely abandoned integration and favors the interests of newcomers over those of the American people. Let Nothing Stand In Your Way

Barack Obama says he doesn’t “understand how we got so toxic and just so divided and so bitter.” He was speaking at a campaign rally in Madison, WI to drum up support for the Democratic Party’s presidential candidate. Polls suggest she may need the help in key battleground states like Wisconsin, but it’s not normal for former commanders-in-chief to play such an active role in our political system. But then, as Obama’s Pulitzer-Prize-winning biographer says, Obama is “not normal.” Maybe his character has something to do with how the country he was elected to lead twice became so toxic, divided, and bitter: it’s part of his legacy.

It’s not normal that Obama legalized the nuclear weapons program of a terror state, Iran, that kills Americans and our allies. Nor is it normal that Obama repeatedly divided America between his supporters and others by chiming in with his trademark phrase, “that’s not who we are as Americans.”

It’s not normal that Obama stayed in Washington after his term ended in 2016. Ex-presidents leave the capital to demonstrate that executive authority has been transferred from the outgoing president to the new one, in accordance with the will of the American people that is articulated through our vote. Obama is the first president to stick around since Woodrow Wilson did a century ago. But Wilson suffered a stroke during his presidency. When it was over, Wilson stayed in Washington because he couldn’t be moved. Obama didn’t have a stroke. He just stayed around setting up a shadow White House a mile away from the actual White House. The press rarely mentions that Obama’s decision to stay in Washington is unusual because they don’t want to bring attention to the fact that it’s not normal.

According to former CIA Director John Brennan, Obama ok’d efforts to spy on the 2016 Republican candidate for president, Donald Trump. That’s normal in the third world where totalitarian regimes like Venezuela and Syria put their adversaries under surveillance and charge them with phony crimes to put them in jail. But it’s not normal in America, the oldest democracy in the world.

It wasn’t normal when Obama told Brennan to produce an intelligence finding that Vladimir Putin helped Trump win the 2016 election. That assessment not only undermined his successor’s presidency but also poisoned the country. After all, the apparent purpose of the CIA assessment was to show that Trump was a foreign agent and everyone who voted for him was in thrall to a traitor. It’s not normal for an American president to set Americans against each other and divide the country, but Obama isn’t normal.

It wasn’t normal to signal instructions to a judge to target General Mike Flynn, Board Chair of America’s Future, after the Justice Department dropped all its charges against Trump’s former national security advisor. It wasn’t normal when Obama pushed Democratic governors and mayors to keep their states and cities locked down during the COVID panic of 2020, destroying the economy.

Installing Kamala Harris as Joe Biden’s running mate in 2020 wasn’t normal since Harris hadn’t won a single primary vote. And neither was pushing out Biden four years later to replace him with Harris as the Democratic presidential candidate since Harris still hadn’t won a single primary vote. But after all the laws and norms already broken, it doesn’t matter to Obama that the presidency has turned into a ceremonial position. He holds the real power.

In less than two weeks, America has the opportunity to bring the age of toxicity, bitterness, and division to an end. Let nothing stand in your way to cast your vote. It’s time for America to return to normal. (For more from the author of “Let Nothing Stand In Your Way” please click HERE)

In Focus – Flawed Election Systems

Days after the 2020 election, the bureaucrat in charge of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (“CISA”) boasted: “The November 3rd election was the most secure in American history.” In essence he was saying, “I did a great job.” No surprise there! Shortly thereafter, Attorney General William Barr claimed that he had found no proof of fraud in the 2020 election “that could have affected a different outcome….” It was only later that we learned that Barr had told his subordinates not to investigate voter fraud. No wonder he had not found any proof! Since then, every “trusted voice” in the society has lectured us that our elections are fair, and honest, and above reproach. Fortunately, the American People have been able to see through the fraud that tries to convince us there is no voter fraud.

Vote By Mail

Just take one clear illustration. In 2005, President Jimmy Carter and former Secretary of State James Baker co-chaired the Commission on Federal Election Reform which warned: “Absentee ballots remain the largest source of potential voter fraud.” (Emphasis added.) So what do our election officials do — expand what were a small number of absentee ballots to a massive vote by mail system. Does that sound like a plan designed to minimize “voter fraud?”

Societal Decay

Can we expect elected officials to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth? When the President of the United States can have sex with a White House intern in the Oval Office, and then lie under oath while looking directly into the camera and still escape punishment, the tone for the modern era has been set. Each person should evaluate for himself where our nation is on the continuum of sin set out in Romans 1:29-32.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient. Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things…. [Emphasis added.]

If our institutions (schools, colleges, media, the military, medicine, law, etc.) are resistant to truth, is there any reason to believe that the systems by which our elections are conducted are doing any better? Every effort to alter election laws to make election fraud easier is heralded as “promoting democracy.” Every effort to make fraud more difficult is an “attack on democracy itself.” In such a setting, there are many excellent reasons to doubt that the results reported by state election officials and the media will accurately reflect the actual votes cast by Americans.

The Motivations of Election Officials

Elections are conducted by governments, and governments are run by elected officials, or officials appointed by those elected officials. Those elected officials were elected under the current system — making it likely they would not be motivated to improve that system. Based on self-interest alone, can we assume that government election officials will be faithful to do their job in a nonpartisan manner, even to their own disadvantage? The judiciary often would prefer not to get involved, believing these problems are for the political branches — the legislature and the executive branches. However, leaving the matter to the political branches can result in the fox guarding the hen house.

The Willingness to Cheat to Win

Veteran pollster Scott Rasmussen last year asked Americans:

QUESTION: Suppose that your favorite candidate loses a close election. However, people on the campaign know that they can win by cheating without being caught. Would you rather have your candidate win by cheating or lose by playing fair? [Emphasis added.]

The result showed that while most “normal” Americans would not cheat, an overwhelming percentage of our political elites would cheat.

Just 7 percent of all Americans said they would want their candidate to win by cheating.

That number rose to 35 percent among the elite 1 percent of Americans who make over $150,000 a year, live in densely populated areas, and have postgraduate degrees.

Of that elite 1 percent, those who were part of the politically obsessed 1 percent, who talk about politics every day, 69 percent admitted to being willing to cheat.

Pollster Rasmussen was horrified: “I’ve been polling for a very long time and the last finding is the most terrifying poll result I’ve ever seen.”

But it gets worse. Consider what Americans have admitted they have done. A December 2023, Rasmussen poll: “found that more than 20 percent of voters who used mail-in ballots in 2020 admit they participated in at least one form of election fraud.”

Those in office who want to protect the current corrupt system will scold us, saying that to criticize our elections is to attack “Democracy itself,” but what they mean is it is an attack on them. If election officials were honest, they would welcome criticism to make the system better. However, they want to silence the critics, lest the People find out how corrupt the system truly is.

People Do Not Trust Elections

Neither Republicans nor Democrats believe that our electoral system is reliable. Compare two polls taken by Washington Post-University of Maryland:

In December 2023, 36 percent believed Joe Biden’s 2020 win was illegitimate; and

In October 2017, 42 percent believed that Trump’s 2016 win was illegitimate.

The public’s level of suspicion cannot be lessened by deriding those who question election results as election deniers, but can only be addressed in a meaningful way when voters see that election challenges are taken seriously and election laws are followed.

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger

The points above can be demonstrated by what is happening now — in the days before the 2024 election — in Georgia state courts. On August 30, 2024, the DeKalb County Republican Party, Inc. filed an Application for a Writ of Mandamus against Secretary of State Bradford Raffensperger in Georgia Superior Court. The Secretary of State is the Chief Election Official of the state. The Application demonstrated that Raffensperger had long been on actual notice of security breaches in the Georgia election computer systems provided by Dominion Voting Systems (“Dominion”), but had refused to do anything about it.

The Superior Court scheduled an all-day hearing on September 30, 2024, at which two seasoned and highly credible election security witnesses testified for the DeKalb County GOP. The testimony, which was scarcely challenged on cross-examination, demonstrated serious security violations in the Dominion systems used throughout Georgia. Specifically, the encryption keys and passwords for the system were not being protected. In fact, they were accessible to any person with minimal computer skills, and once obtained, could be used to alter election results. Cyber expert witness Benjamin Cotton explained:

If I put this into analogy with banks, if you’ve got a bank vault and that’s the latest and greatest lock on that bank vault, and you tout that security on that bank vault, what they’ve done here is the equivalent of writing in big bold letters the combination on the wall next to the lock, okay, so there really is no security. [Emphasis added.]

How did the Secretary of State, a Republican, respond to this suit? His defense was that under Georgia law his only responsibility was to select a system previously approved by the U.S. Election Assistance Commission, which he did, and that ended his statutory duties. Therefore, anything beyond that initial decision was not his responsibility. He may be the Chief Election Official of the state, but he contended in court that even if he knew the passwords and encryption keys were readily available to manipulate election results, that was not his responsibility.

How did the Superior Court respond? In a Final Order issued on October 4, Judge Scott McAfee granted a motion to dismiss on the theory that the Secretary of State of Georgia has no continuing duty to ensure the system is working to record votes accurately. The people of Georgia should be much surprised to learn this is his view. Is there any wonder that the American people distrust the result of elections?

Lessons from Georgia

It is worth repeating that the people serving in public office today were elected to their positions under the current system or appointed by those elected officials. They have no burning desire to change a process that favored them. If the elections are being rigged, it is current incumbents who may have benefitted from the rigging. The government officials least willing to make improvements in the voting system are the Secretaries of State and other Chief Election Officials who have been in office while unreliable systems were selected and implemented. Can we really expect these office holders to admit when they have been either corrupt or incompetent?
