Creepy: Netflix Employs Practicing Wiccans to Fact-Check Show

In case you ever wondered why the Netflix reboot of “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” seemed so eerily satanic, maybe it has something to do with the fact that the streaming service employs actual Wiccans to ensure maximum accuracy.

According to LifeSiteNews, actress Kiernan Shipka (who plays the iconic teenage witch in the reboot) told Jimmy Kimmel this week that both she and the show’s writers consult real Wiccans for better authenticity. . .

Shipka first jokingly quipped she goes on “a few ride-alongs, a few seances” before admitting the truth: “We have a few people who are practicing Wiccans … it’s nice. You feel like you’re making the right moves and doing the right things. You feel like you have some advisory, which is really nice. We’re not all just doing this.”

“Sabrina, the Teenage Witch” returned to the small screen once again in October 2018 as the “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.” This time, however, the light-hearted innocence of the original Melissa Joan Hart sitcom was jettisoned in favor of an unapologetically dark, satanic tone, shot-through by occasional bouts of meta-humor.

In this darkly twisted version, gone are the laugh tracks and cheerful one-liners of the original, where witchcraft and magic were more of a punchline to a joke rather than an actual force for Sabrina to reckon with. Here, the “teenage witch” is a newly-minted 16-year-old on the cusp of signing her soul over to a coven of Satan-worshippers, which her two aunts – Zelda and Hilda – are all too eager to facilitate. Nancy Pelosi Contacted the Police Over Trump Tweet

Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Sunday ordered Capitol Hill Police to provide extra protection for Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN). The decision comes after President Donald Trump tweeted a video of Omar saying “some people did something” on September 11, 2001. . .

Pelosi released the following statement about beefing up security:

Following the President’s tweet, I spoke with the Sergeant-at-Arms to ensure that Capitol Police are conducting a security assessment to safeguard Congresswoman Omar, her family and her staff. They will continue to monitor and address the threats she faces.

The President’s words weigh a ton, and his hateful and inflammatory rhetoric creates real danger. President Trump must take down his disrespectful and dangerous video.

WATCH: Trump Posts BRUTAL Video Smacking Ilhan Omar over 9/11 Comments

By Daily Wire. President Donald Trump ripped Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) in a brutal video clip he posted to Twitter concerning the Democrat’s widely-ridiculed comments downplaying the 9/11 terror attacks that killed thousands of Americans.

The video begins with a clip of Rep. Omar referring to the 9/11 atrocity as being an instance where “some people did something” during a speech she gave in March for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).

The video then cuts to news footage of the second plane crashing into the Twin Towers, before cutting back to Omar’s “some people did something” remark. This sequence is repeated two more times, as the horrifying realities of that fateful day are showcased.

AOC defends Omar after Trump 9/11 video, calls on more Dems to speak out

By NBC News. President Donald Trump tweeted a video featuring images of 9/11 to attack Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn. — which drew sharp rebukes from two other freshmen representatives — Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y. and Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich.

The video that Trump posted on Friday splices a reference Omar made about the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks with footage of the Twin Towers in New York collapsing. It is captioned “WE WILL NEVER FORGET.”

Omar’s reference to the terrorist attacks came in a speech last month at an event hosted by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) in Los Angeles. (Read more from “AOC defends Omar after Trump 9/11 video, calls on more Dems to speak out” HERE)

Kamala Harris Owns a Gun for Protection. Here Are 3 Major Senate Gun Control Bills She Supports

At a campaign stop in Iowa, 2020 Democratic presidential candidate and California Sen. Kamala Harris stated that she owns a gun for protection.

“I am a gun owner, and I own a gun for probably the reason that a lot of people do: for personal safety,” Harris told a group reporters. She cited her past as a career prosecutor.

She went on to try to distance herself from far-left proposals to confiscate firearms while promoting other forms of gun control.

“In terms of gun policy, though, I think that for too long and still today, we are being offered a false choice,” she said, “which suggests you’re either in favor of the Second Amendment or you want to take everyone’s guns away.”

Harris is a cosponsor of fellow California Democrat Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s “Assault Weapons Ban of 2019,” which bans 205 guns by name and targets the most popular rifle platform in the United States.

She’s also a cosponsor of Feinstein’s bill to support red flag gun confiscation laws, as well as a bill from Sen. Bob Menendez, D-N.J., to ban “large capacity” magazines. Ilhan Omar Uses Iconic Words From George Bush to Defend Her 9/11 Comments. The Internet Erupts.

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) used iconic words former president George W. Bush made at Ground Zero atop a heap of rubble in New York City in September 2001 to defend her widely-criticized remarks trivializing the 9/11 terrorist attack that claimed thousands of American lives. . .

The Democrat posted the outrageous defense in a tweet published on Friday:

“The people — and the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon!” President George W. Bush

Was Bush downplaying the terrorist attack?

Predictably, Omar then suggested her criticism derives from her being Muslim: “What if he was a Muslim?” she added to the tweet.

The freshman congresswoman’s defense received swift backlash online, since, of course, no one in his right mind would suggest then-President Bush was downplaying anything. Bush was simply threatening those who carried out the attack in its immediate aftermath — directly the opposite of Omar’s callous trivialization.

HIDDEN CAM VIDEO: ‘Pregnant’ Transgender Visits Planned Parenthood!

This is the latest, and possibly most outrageous installment of hidden camera experiments that we’ve done yet.

It’s relatively simple. Planned Parenthood is the self-proclaimed #1 provider of women’s healthcare in the country! They also have released official guidelines to their employees as “inclusivity” in regards to transgender patients… Which flies in the face of biology, and even, yes… actual health services performed.

So we sent in “Stephanie” a “pregnant” transgender to see just how far they’d take it… as well as how far we’ve fallen. Prepare for a bumpy and disturbing ride.

Senator Admits Obama Admin Could Have Legitimately Spied on Trump Campaign

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said on Thursday that there was still a possibility that the Trump campaign was surveilled by the government in a legitimate fashion.

“Clearly the foreign intelligence surveillance act was used against the Trump campaign,” said Graham to CNN’s Manu Raju.

“That’s a form of surveillance,” he explained. “It is, surveillance is fine, but it’s legal, it’s authorized. Counter-intelligence investigation was opened up against the Trump campaign. That by its nature, surveillance is fine.”

“I think what Mr. Barr is saying is that this didn’t happen in the Clinton campaign, there was no counterintelligence investigation I know of against the Clinton campaign there was no FISA warrants opened up against her people,” Graham said. “The question is why did the government open up a counterintelligence investigation into the Trump campaign, and was the FISA warrant legit?” . . .

The comment seemed to go against an earlier statement from the president, who seemed absolutely certain that the Obama administration had illegally spied on his presidential campaign. (Read more from “Senator Admits Obama Admin Could Have Legitimately Spied on Trump Campaign” HERE)

House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff May Be No More

Rep. Matt Gaetez (R-FL) on Wednesday filed a resolution to remove House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) from the Committee and revoke his security clearance. . .

“I have filed legislation today, sent to the House, that Adam Schiff needs to be removed from the Intelligence Committee, because how are the rest of us supposed to be able to rely on a man, who you just showed, lied to the American people when he said that there was not spying? Or when he lied and said that there was actual evidence of collusion or clear evidence of collusion?” Gaetz began. . .

This shouldn’t come as a surprise to Schiff. After all, he spent the last two years pushing the collusion story. And, even after Attorney General William Barr said no collusion took place between the Trump campaign and Russia, Schiff still continues to push the collusion theory. In fact, he wants even more investigations and testimony because he didn’t like the results.

New Investigation Opened on FBI for 2016 Trump Surveillance

By The Blaze. After years of complaints from Republicans and allies of the president, Attorney General William Barr revealed that the FBI is being investigated over FISA surveillance on the Trump campaign in 2016.

“The Office of the Inspector General has a pending investigation of the FISA process in the Russian investigation, and I expect that that will be complete in probably in May or June, I am told,” said Barr during congressional testimony Tuesday.

The president alleged that he had been “wire tapped” by the former Obama administration, which later admitted that some members of the campaign had been surveilled during an investigation into claims of Russian interference in the 2016 election. . .

“More generally,” Barr said, “I am reviewing the conduct of the investigation and trying to get my arms around of all the aspects of the counter-intelligence investigation that was conducted during the summer of 2016.”

Barr Redactions Could Spark More Displeasure From Mueller’s Team

By Politico. As Attorney General William Barr decides how much of Robert Mueller’s report to release publicly, recent reports about discontent within the special counsel’s team send a clear message to Barr: redactions are subject to debate.

Legal analysts and lawmakers overseeing the Russia probe — including House members who grilled Barr on Tuesday — say that even if Barr blacks out key portions of Mueller’s report — citing factors like grand jury secrecy, classification and confidentiality — before releasing it, Mueller’s associates might second-guess him via the media or Congress.

Barr “might not have quite as much discretion without some consequences here,” said Andy Wright, a former associate White House counsel to President Barack Obama. Wright said the message is that Barr “only has so much time and so much wiggle room” to delay and redact Mueller’s report before its public release without risking “further disclosures from that team.”

The reports about sentiments within the special counsel’s team started last week in The New York Times and led to follow-up coverage in other media outlets describing frustrations inside Mueller’s team over how Barr portrayed its work and declined to release detailed executive summary materials they’d prepared. Burger King Faces Stark Criticism for What Many Social Media Users Are Saying Is a Culturally Insensitive Ad. Here It Is.

Burger King aired an ad in New Zealand featuring one of the franchise’s latest offerings: the Vietnamese Sweet Chili Tendercrisp. . .

A caption for the company’s Instagram campaign read, “Take your taste buds all the way to Ho Chi Minh City with our Vietnamese Sweet Chili Tendercrisp, part of our Tastes of the World range. Available for a limited time only.”

One Korean New Zealander told the Huffington Post that she immediately took offense to the ad. . .

“[People of color] are constantly having to deal with microaggressions as well as outright hatred and it just never ends,” Mo added. “I was watching it thinking there must be some kind of layered twist ― only to realise, no, there was no twist, it really was that base level.” . . .

“We are truly sorry that the ad has appeared insensitive to our community,” said James Woodbridge, who the outlet identified as the restaurant’s general manager for marketing. “We have removed it and it certainly does not reflect our brand values around diversity and inclusion.”
