House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Thursday blasted Attorney General William Barr for allowing President Donald Trump’s personal legal team the opportunity to review special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation report before its public release.

But Pelosi’s pearl clutching was marred with hypocrisy after video surfaced showing that Pelosi once advocated for the exact opposite position — when it would have benefited a Democrat. . .

After Barr confirmed during his press conference on Thursday that Trump’s personal attorneys reviewed a redacted version of the report prior to its public release, Pelosi alleged Barr had “confirmed the staggering partisan effort by the Trump Admin to spin public’s view of the #MuellerReport.”

As NTK pointed out, Pelosi said in 1998 that then-President Bill Clinton had the right to review the Ken Starr report, which detailed Clinton’s sex scandal with Monica Lewinsky.

During debate over a bill that called for the immediate public release of the report, Pelosi told then-House Speaker Newt Gingrich that Clinton had a right to read the report before Congress — let alone the public. Watch: Reporter Ambushes Mueller Outside of Church on Easter Sunday

Over the last two years, Democrats have proven that they’re more than willing to do anything possible to take down President Donald Trump. They hate his policies. They hate his personal life. They hate everything he stands for. They hate him. The almost two-year long Russia probe was a witch hunt that turned up absolutely nothing yet Democrats have vowed to subpoena whoever they can. Essentially, they’re going to launch a different kind of witch hunt, one that the Democrats will control exclusively. And it’s being launched in Congress.

The mainstream media – really, we should call them the lamestream media – kept pushing the idea of “collusion! collusion! collusion!” and were ultimately proved wrong. CNN and MSNBC were two of the leading charges on that front. Still, even after the Mueller report has been released, they’re not happy with the findings. Because nothing was found.

MSNBC “reporter” Mike Viqueira decided to ambush Special Counsel Robert Mueller outside of his church… on Easter Sunday… to ask if he’d testify before Congress.

Voter Stuns Reporter With His Message to Democrats After Mueller Report Release

By The Blaze. A reporter for the progressive cable news channel MSNBC was stunned by a New Hampshire voter who warned the Democratic party that they would lose in 2020 if they kept pushing the Mueller report after its release.

“But I do want to bring in one of the voters who I’ve been talking to this morning,” said Ali Vitali. “Harold Chase, and you’re someone who, now that you’ve seen the report come out, what are you thoughts?”

“Well my thoughts are that, like I said earlier, it’s just, it’s all false, the reports, there’s nothing in there that shows the President of the United States is guilty of anything,” Chase told her.

“There’s no Russian collusion and there’s no obstruction,” he continued, “you know they’re gonna try to find something, looking at that report, pick it apart and they’ll try to find something and run with it, and nothing’s gonna happen.” . . .

“Well, the report is out,” he replied. “I think they just need to move on, and just drop it, you know if they just keep going forward, they’re not getting anywhere.”

DOJ calls Nadler subpoena for full Mueller report ‘premature and unnecessary’

By Fox News. The Department of Justice responded Friday to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler’s request for Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s full and unredacted report, dismissing the request as both “premature and unnecessary.”

DOJ spokesperson Kerri Kupec said in a statement that Attorney General Bill Barr provided Mueller’s report on Thursday with only “minimal redactions” and, “in the interest of transparency,” the department had provided certain members of Congress, including Nadler, with a report that had “even fewer redactions.”

“In light of this, Congressman Nadler’s subpoena is premature and unnecessary. The Department will continue to work with Congress to accommodate its legitimate requests consistent with the law and long-recognized executive branch interests,” Kupec continued.

Watch: ‘House of Horrors’ Parents Receive Sentencing, Children Deliver Moving Impact Statements

Three of the 13 children rescued from a “house of horrors” in California last year delivered emotional victim impact statements on Friday at their parents’ sentencing.

“I believe everything happens for a reason,” one of the couple’s adult daughters said in a statement, the Desert Sun reported. “My parents took my whole life from me, but now I’m taking my life back.”

David Turpin, 57, and Louise Turpin, 50, looked on while two of their adult children recounted the horrific abuse they had suffered at the hands of the couple, the Desert Sun reported. Both parents reportedly cried when their children gave their statements inside the crowded Riverside County courtroom.

“I saw my dad change my mom, but they didn’t change me. I am a fighter, I am strong and I am shooting through life like a rocket,” the 30-year-old daughter continued. . .

Joy’s statement said she believed 25 years was too long for her parents to be in prison. She asked that they be placed in detention centers that would be close enough for the children to visit them, should they want to do so in the future. People Are Freaking out Because Barr Said the Mueller Report Was Done for Him. He’s Right

During his Thursday morning press conference once again summarizing the findings of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report, when asked by a reporter why Mueller himself was not present, Attorney General William Barr explained that he wasn’t there because the report was written for the AG.

“It’s not [his report], it’s a report he did for me as the attorney general; he is required by the regulation to provide me with a confidential report,” Barr said. “I’m here to discuss my response to the report and my decision, entirely discretionary, to make it public.”

That response appeared to ruffle a few feathers:

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Shultz claimed that the report was really put together “for the American people.”

“So much for the idea of an independent Special Counsel,” lamented an MSNBC contributor.

Podcast host Fernand Amandi called it “ASTONISHING. UNAPOLOGETIC. AUTHORITARIANISM.”

Okay, let’s talk about the facts here.

Under the federal regulations that allow for Robert Mueller’s job as a special prosecutor to even exist, Barr made a clear statement of fact when he said that the report was done for him as the attorney general.

“At the conclusion of the Special Counsel’s work, he or she shall provide the Attorney General with a confidential report explaining the prosecution or declination decisions reached by the Special Counsel,” the regulation states.

Furthermore, the regulations also state that the AG will notify Congress after the investigation’s conclusion, but not that he has to release any portion whatsoever of that confidential report to the public or even to Congress.

Sure, anti-Trump America may have bet the organic, Green New Deal-compliant farm on the outcome of this investigation and the content of the report, but rules are rules, folks.

Also, it’s critical to understand that we have a special counsel, not an independent counsel. We used to have an independent counsel, and the statute that created that job led to one of the more controversial Supreme Court opinions of the last couple of decades (and one of Justice Scalia’s finest dissents).

In fact, the consensus that the old structure of the independent counsel’s job was so much of an unconstitutional chimera, that it was allowed to quietly lapse in 1999 and was replaced with the regulatory investigation structure.

And under that mechanism, the special counsel reports to the attorney general who is picked by a president and confirmed on advice and consent of the Senate.

AOC Touts a Green New Deal Victory in a Delusional New Video

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has made a name for herself for a number of reasons, but one of the biggest is for her “Green New Deal” proposal. She partnered with The Intercept to create a video showing what America would look like in 10 years if the Green New Deal is adopted. And, naturally, AOC was the hero in the video.

“It’s often said you can’t be what you can’t see. I think there was something similar with the Green New Deal. We knew that we need to save the planet and that we had all the technology to do it, but people were scared,” Ocasio-Cortez saids in the narration. “They said it was too big, too fast, not practical. I think that’s because they just couldn’t picture it yet.”

The narrative AOC drives home: the fossil fuel industry, large corporations and politicians are to blame for problem of climate change. She suggests that companies, like Exxon, knew about the fossil fuel epidemic but chose to get rich over doing what was best for the planet. . .

Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal is expected to cost $93 trillion dollars or $65,000 per household. And, naturally, she never discusses what these types of policies will cost, probably because it’s better to be ignorant and “worry about it later” than deal with it head on.

What about people who work in logging or coal mining? There are areas of the nation that rely on those very industries to thrive. I live in a major logging area, where working for the mill is a great blue collar, highly respected job. It’s tough work but people are willing to do it. Those in my area rely on the logs to keep their homes warm during winter, to cut down on the amount they spend on electricity.

Shocking Video: Qatari Sociologist Films ‘How Islam Teaches You to Beat Your Wife’

Qatari sociologist Abd Al-Aziz Al-Khazra purportedly created a video demonstrating “how to beat one’s wife” in accordance with Islam, and posted it to YouTube on March 29. Thanks to an English translation of excerpts by The Middle East Media Research Institute, Al-Khazra’s teachings remain available for all to see (as of this writing), as they have been for weeks. . .

In the clips provided by MEMRI on April 3, Al-Khazra explains to viewers that it is not necessary for a man to beat his wife, but if he does, “he gives her a disciplinary beating out of love,” reiterating, “He loves her.”

“Now, let’s see how Islam teaches how to beat your wife,” the instructor says, and uses a young boy posing as “the wife” in his tutorial for proper technique.

“How should a husband beat his wife?” Al-Khazra asks, rhetorically. “First, he must ‘admonish her’ — in other words, he should advise her. Then, he should refrain from sharing a bed with her. If all of this doesn’t help, we start the beating as a last resort.” . . .

Then comes the physical part. Al-Khazra continues to berate his volunteer while showing the acceptable level of wife-beating by swatting the boy’s arms. “See how the beating is done?” he asks his audience, telling them, “The beating is light, brothers.”

Hero Allegedly Shoots Grown, Undressed Man Found in Little Girl’s Bedroom

Chalk another one up for private firearm ownership. An alleged home intruder was undressed in a 12-year-old’s bedroom before being driven off by multiple shots from a firearm, residents of the home claim.

Donald Oliver, 38, was in a wheelchair for his court appearance earlier this week, a day after he was shot while allegedly breaking into the home of Tina Burton in Louisville, Kentucky early Sunday morning, according to court documents.

“He got undressed in my daughter’s room,” Burton told local outlet WDRB. “Like, what was your intentions? … You are sick.”

But even with an undressed, grown man in her bedroom, Burton says that her daughter kept it together and did everything right.

“She hid under the cover, turned her light down, turned her volume down on her phone to text me,” Burton said. “When she peeked under the cover to see where he was at, she got up and ran away. She went to the back room. And I think that was really brave and smart of her.” Burton also says that two more of her daughters were at home at the time.

Burton’s boyfriend, Ali Bracey, said that he told Oliver to leave before a fight ensued between the two. Police then say that Burton grabbed a gun and gave it to Bracey who says he fired a total of six shots at the intruder who then ran away.

Oliver was apparently a neighbor that nobody in the home had ever met before, and local law enforcement says that he entered the residence through the kitchen window while wearing only his underwear. They also say they found a bag of heroin where he took his clothes off.

Nation of Islam Defends Ilhan Omar With 9/11 Truther Video Featuring Anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan

On Tuesday morning, the Nation of Islam’s research group defended Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), who has come under fire for her comments minimizing the tragedy of the 9/11 terror attacks. The Nation of Islam Research Group, an arm of the Nation of Islam led by notorious anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan, tweeted a video in which Farrakhan claims the George W. Bush administration orchestrated the 9/11 attacks.

The tweet came after Omar supporters launched a tweet storm with the hashtag #IStandWithIlhan. The Nation of Islam interpreted Omar’s comments describing the terror attacks (“Somebody did something”) to be an endorsement of the 9/11 truther conspiracy.

“3,133 Scientists Back Ilhan Omar on 9/11,” the Nation of Islam research group claimed. “Deep skepticism exists about the gov’t version of 9/11. Many experts—architects & engineers—say the World Trade Center Towers were destroyed in a controlled demolition. Listen to [Louis Farrakhan].”
