VIDEO: Reporter Attacked on Air While Livestreaming

In a harrowing moment captured on live video, a female reporter was attacked on air while livestreaming from the scene of what authorities say was a “mass overdose incident” on Saturday.

KRCR News Channel 7 of Chico, California was on the scene covering developments in an alleged mass fentanyl overdose that resulted in what authorities say were a dozen people ages 19 to 30 being rushed to the hospital Saturday. . .

In an alarming incident livestreamed on Facebook, KRCR’s Meaghan Mackey was reporting outside the home where the mass overdose took place, when things quickly got out of hand — as the video posted by CBS Sacramento shows.

In the video, someone can be heard saying, “This is disrespectful, do you understand that?” Suddenly, the news camera appears to be hit, then drops to the ground, while a female — presumably Mackey — begins to scream. “Get the [inaudible] out of here!” someone yells.

Russia Derangement Syndrome: Dem Senator Says It’s Not Insane to Ask If Trump Is a Russian Agent

By Townhall. Russia collusion might be the topic of discussion nowadays with the government shutdown, but it’s still a pathogen that has yet to leave the Democratic Party’s system. Today, Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) suggested that it’s not insane to ask if Trump, knowingly or unknowingly, is a Russian agent. Warner was interviewed by CNN’s Jake Tapper (via NTK Network):

Jake, I think the earlier evidence this week, where the president’s campaign manager – and we’re unaware whether the president knew – where the president’s campaign manager, at whose direction turned over confidential polling data to a known Russian agent, a known Russian agent, who has ties to Putin,” Warner said. “Why would you turn over that information?”

Warner then told Tapper that it was this kind of information that Trump’s campaign manager Paul Manafort gave the Russians that they would have used to interfere in the 2016 election.

Trump Targets Dems Over DACA Amid Shutdown Talks

By The Hill. President Trump on Sunday hit Democrats for their hesitance to include protections for beneficiaries of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program in talks to end a prolonged government shutdown, despite his own administration’s insistence that the program be left out of negotiations.

“Democrats are saying that DACA is not worth it and don’t want to include in talks,” Trump tweeted. “Many Hispanics will be coming over to the Republican side, watch!”

The president’s tweet contradicts comments he and Vice President Pence have made in recent days about DACA, which allows young immigrants who came to the U.S. illegally as children to live and work here without fear of deportation. Watch: Reporter Has Bad News for Those Waiting for Mueller Bombshell

ABC News chief Washington correspondent Jonathan Karl said on Sunday that those who are hoping for a “bombshell” in special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation are likely to be disappointed, according to his sources. . .

“What I am getting is that this is all building up to the Mueller report and raising expectations of a bombshell report,” Karl said. “And there have been expectations that have been building, of course, for over a year on this. But people who are closest to what Mueller has been doing, interacting with the special counsel caution me that this report is almost certain to be anti-climactic.”

Claim: CNN Declined Local News Border Report Because It Showed Walls Work

CNN responded to KUSI, calling its accusation a “non story.”

The fact that CNN booked a KUSI reporter in November does not speak at all to why CNN rejected a KUSI report this week.

A local news station in California published a report Thursday claiming that CNN rejected a story on the border wall debate because the report confirmed that President Donald Trump is right and walls work.

From KUSI:

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Thursday morning, CNN called the KUSI Newsroom asking if one of our reporters could give them a local view of the debate surrounding the border wall and government shutdown.

KUSI offered our own Dan Plante, who has reported dozens of times on the border, including one story from 2016 that was retweeted by former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich, and posted on DrudgeReport.com.

We believe CNN declined a report from KUSI because we informed them that most Border Patrol Agents we have spoken to told us the barrier does in fact work.

We have continuously been told by Border Patrol Agents that the barrier along the Southern border helps prevent illegal entries, drugs, and weapons from entering the United States, and the numbers prove it.

This is beyond fake news or liberal bias. This is a malicious rejection of the facts by CNN to oppose the Trump administration politically.

WATCH: Here’s the Altered Video of Trump That Got a News Staffer Fired

Post a doctored video of Trump on Twitter and you’ll probably end up getting more (left-wing) followers, but air one on live television and you’ll get fired.

That’s what appears to have happened to a staffer at Fox News affiliate Q13 in Seattle after the now-former employee aired what was clearly an altered video of President Trump giving his first ever address to the nation from the Oval Office on the issue of border security.

The video the staffer aired was altered to give Trump an overly-large mouth and to make him at one point push his tongue out in bizarre fashion. The colors of the video were also adjusted to make him look more orange. . .

A local radio station was tipped off about the altered video and produced a side-by-side comparison (see below).

“A listener to my program sent me a video that appears to show a deceptively edited video of President Trump’s speech from the Oval Office,” KTTH’s Todd Herman reported Thursday. “We performed a side-by-side comparison of the video from our listener, apparently taken by a smart phone recording of Q13, to the raw video of Trump’s speech from CNN. That comparison revealed the Q13 video creating a loop of the President licking his lips — making it seem bizarre and unbalanced — it also seems that someone distorted the President’s face and may have added an orange tone to his skin.”

Ocasio-Cortez Slammed ICE, but Voted Last Week…to Give ICE More Funding

President Trump delivered his address on border security. It is a crisis. It is a growing humanitarian crisis, despite Democrats and the liberal media saying otherwise. The Trump border security agenda calls for a wall and more funding for our enforcement agencies, like Immigration and Customs Enforcement. ICE has been a prime target for progressives in the 2018 election cycle, being used as fodder for primary challengers.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is one of the most prominent anti-ICE members of Congress, as well as one of the faces of the ascending progressive wing of the party. Last night, on MSNBC, the official network of liberal America, she went on a tear (via Free Beacon):

Ocasio-Cortez, the 29-year-old democratic socialist who was sworn into Congress last week, appeared on MSNBC’s “Rachel Maddow Show” following President Donald Trump’s primetime address to the nation from the Oval Office. During the interview, Maddow asked Ocasio-Cortez to respond to his speech, prompting her to castigate Trump for requesting funding for ICE, an agency she has said should be abolished.

“The president should not be asking for more money to an agency that has systematically violated human rights. The president should be really defending why we are funding such an agency at all because right now what we are seeing is death. Right now what we are seeing is the violation of human rights,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

She argued that the primary reason for undocumented immigrants in the United States is “Visa overstay” versus people crossing over the border illegally. She then went on to accuse Trump of trying to restrict “every form of legal immigration there is in the United States.”

WATCH: Trump Turns Question Around on Reporter Who Can’t Answer It

President Donald Trump turned a question around on a “one-sided” reporter on Wednesday in the Oval Office, which left the reporter fumbling for words and unable to answer the question.

ABC News White House correspondent Jonathan Karl pressed Trump about signing bills so government workers who are being furloughed could be paid. . .

“I mean, I watch your one-sided reporting,” Trump continued. “Do you think I should do that? Hey Jon, no, seriously, Jon: Do you think I should just sign?” . . .

“I’m asking you: Would you do that if you were in my position?” Trump said. “Because if you would do that, you should never be in this position. Because you’d never get anything done.”

Students Slam ‘Trump’ Wall Quotes, Then They Learn Who Actually Said Them

As the government shutdown continues due the impasse in Congress over the funding for President Trump’s “big, beautiful wall,” Campus Reform thought it would be enlightening to visit a college campus and hear from students on the problem driving the whole wall idea: illegal immigration.

What Campus Reform’s Cabot Phillips found was that students at American University recoiled at the rhetoric of Democratic leaders — if they thought it was Trump doing the talking, that is. . .

So would students agree with the unequivocal assertions by Democratic leaders about the importance of stopping illegal immigrants from “pour[ing] into the United States undetected, undocumented and unchecked” and their commitment to “build[ing] a barrier to try to prevent illegal immigrants from coming in”? . . .

Phillips begins by asking the students how they feel about the idea of a border wall generally. He gets a bunch of negative responses, including that a wall is “absolutely horrendous.” . . .

When Phillips finally reveals that the quotes were from Schumer, Obama and Clinton, the students are largely left speechless, sometimes laughing: “How about that?!” says one student, smiling.

WATCH: Kellyanne Conway Just Put Jim Acosta in His Place…and It’s Awesome

CNN’s Jim Acosta has become a household name, especially over the last few months when he made a mockery out of the press and eventually had his hard press pass suspended. The White House eventually reinstated his press pass but there’s still some animosity between Acosta and the Trump administration, which came to a head on Tuesday during a press briefing with Kellyanne Conway.

Acosta decided to ask a rather stupid question: “Kellyanne, can you promise that the president will tell the truth tonight?”

“Yes, Jim. Can you promise that you will?” she asked. . .

“Make sure that goes viral. By the way, this is why I’m one of the only people around here who even gives you the time of day. And let me get back in your face, since you’re such a smartass most of the time,” she explained. “And I know you want this to go viral but a lot of these people [White House press corps] don’t like you.” . . .

“Don’t you put it back in my face for all corrections your network needs to issue,” she said. “I was on your network 25 or 26 times in 2018. WATCH: RNC Releases New Video Highlighting Families Impacted by Illegal Immigration

The Republican National Committee (RNC) released a new ad on Monday night highlighting how American families have been impacted by illegal aliens, which comes a day before President Donald Trump is set to address the nation about the ongoing crisis on the southern border.

The video was released as part of a new website launched by the RNC called Borderfacts.com, which was created to combat misinformation from the media and Democrat Party.

“President Trump is committed to fighting for American citizens and our national security,” RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel said in a statement. “Meanwhile, Democrats are committed to fighting President Trump.”

The video highlights multiple Americans who have been killed by illegal aliens, including the recent tragedy out of California where an illegal alien allegedly murdered Ronil Singh, a legal immigrant who was a police officer. . .

“When we use phrases like ‘undocumented workers,’ we convey a message to the American people that their government is not serious about combating illegal immigration, which the American people overwhelmingly oppose,” Senator Chuck Schumer said in 2009. “If you don’t think it’s illegal, you are not going to say it. I think it is illegal and wrong, and we have to change it.”
