Watch: College Students Say They Despise Trump’s SCOTUS Nominee, but Here’s What They Don’t Realize

By The Blaze. One of the most contentious political issues over the next several months will be President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee and the fight for Republicans to confirm that person before the midterm elections this November.

College Reform’s Cabot Phillips recently asked students at New York University about Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, where the students offered up strong opinions — despite the fact that Trump has yet to announce who it is. . .

When asked what qualities the students believe shape a quality Supreme Court justice, students offered qualities such as “black,” “woman,” and “liberal.” They said the justice should not be a “swing-vote,” a reference to Anthony Kennedy, the court’s retiring justice.

The students also said Trump should listen to the American people when deciding who to nominate. When Phillips countered with the fact that former President Barack Obama nominated two liberal justices to the court and didn’t listen to conservative voices then, the students were unable to defend their suggestions.

Trump is slated to formally announce his nominee for the Supreme Court on Monday, July 9. His shortlist has reportedly been narrowed down to three justices: Amy Barrett, Brett Kavanaugh, and Raymond Kethledge. Two Nominees Are Now Trump’s Greatest Focus for Top Court, NBC News Says

By CNBC. None of the four contenders being considered as President Donald Trump’s nominee for the Supreme Court has been excluded, but the greatest focus has fallen on two candidates: Brett Kavanaugh and Thomas Hardiman, a source with first-hand knowledge of the process told NBC News.

Kavanaugh sits on the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals. Hardiman is a judge on the 3rd Circuit of Appeals.

The other two front-runners are Amy Coney Barrett Barrett of the 7th Circuit of Appeals and Raymond Kethledge of the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals.

CNBC reported last week that Trump privately indicated to a small group that he had settled on a nominee to succeed Justice Anthony Kennedy on the Supreme Court, according to a person with direct knowledge of the matter. Complaint Filed Against Maxine Waters – Here’s the Reason Why

Judicial Watch filed an ethics complaint against Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) over her recent speech that encouraged the harassment of Trump administration officials in public.

In a hand-delivered letter to the chairman and co-chairman of the House Office of Congressional Ethics, Judicial Watch asked for an investigation into whether the California Democrat “violated House ethics rules by encouraging violence against Trump administration Cabinet members.”

Last month, Waters told a crowd: “If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them! And you tell them that they are not welcome, anymore, anywhere.”

In encouraging individuals to create “crowds” who will “push back” on President Trump’s Cabinet members at private business establishments and in seemingly trying to prevent these Cabinet officials from obtaining basic necessities without fear of assault and violence, Rep. Waters seems to be violation of House rules, specifically:

A Member, Delegate, Resident Commissioner, officer, or employee of the House shall conduct himself at all times in a manner that shall reflect creditably on the House. [House Rule 23, clause 1.]

Insane Video of Comedian ‘Groping’ Ivanka Trump Resurfaces After He’s Charged for Sexual Battery

By Bizpac Review. The bizarre incident where actor and comedian Andy Dick groped Ivanka Trump in 2007 on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” takes on new meaning upon the report that Dick has been charged with groping a woman on a Los Angeles street earlier this year. . .

“You don’t play up the glitter on your legs?” he says, before trying to feel her up — to Trump’s credit, she a good sport about it as she laughs and slaps away his hand.

“Andy, please don’t touch Ivanka,” Kimmel says as he gets up. “Donald Trump will kill both of us.”

“Andy did a segment, he was a little out of it,” Kimmel said. “She (Ivanka) came out… he wanted a big, wet kiss. It was time for Andy to go, so I escorted him out by his feet.”

Dick referred to the incident in December 2017 on Instagram, using it to take a swipe at President Trump.

Andy Dick Gropes Pamela Anderson’s Breasts, Ivanka Trump’s Leg in Resurfaced, Decade-Old Clips

Days after Andy Dick was charged with misdemeanor sexual battery for groping a woman on a Los Angeles street, videos have resurfaced of the actor rubbing Ivanka Trump’s legs during an episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live” in 2007 and grabbing and fondling Pamela Anderson’s breasts during a 2005 Comedy Central roast.

In the Anderson clip, Dick claims to be her “breasts’ creator,” before walking behind the former “Baywatch” star, reaching around and fondling the surprised actress’ breasts.

After about a minute of touching and squeezing, Dick says, “Don’t worry. She can’t feel any of this.” Anderson quickly replies, “I can so.” . . .

Female Patriot Prayer Member Clobbers Antifa Goon on Camera

. . .Violence was on full display several days ago in Portland, Oregon, a distinctly liberal city. That’s where the right-leaning group Patriot Prayer was protested by the far-left and frequently violent group “antifa,” and one video clip from the melee has gone viral.

During a clash between Patriot Prayer, antifa, and a far-right group called the Proud Boys, all hell broke loose… but footage of a female Patriot member not just holding her own but physically dominating an antifa goon shows that the radical left may have bitten off more than it can chew.

“#Antifa would like you to refrain from making this into a GIF and using it all the time,” wrote Adam Richard on Twitter, along with a short clip of the altercation. “It’s not good for their image when their [Antifa] ‘soldiers’ get the s–t kicked out of them by Patriot Women. #PatriotPrayer.”

In the footage, a woman who is apparently part of the right-leaning Patriot Prayer group appears to have gotten the best of an antifa rioter, and pummels him on the ground as cameras record the action. . .

Man Tries to Steal Car With Kids Inside — Then the Mom Shows up and Grabs Her Gun

By The Daily Caller. . .Michelle Booker-Hicks was at a gas station in Dallas on Wednesday night when the attendant alerted her that a carjacker had begun to drive her car away, reported Dallas Morning News. She was able to jump into the back seat and after a brief altercation, she pulled a gun from her glove compartment.

The suspect, Ricky Wright, 36, was shot in the head and immediately crashed the vehicle into a utility pole. Wright was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

“I should have just emptied the whole clip but I didn’t. I didn’t. I just wanted to give him warning shot, that was it,” Booker said to KTVT-TV. “I’m not a killer or anything like that, but I do believe in defending what’s mine.”

‘I Had to Do What I Had to Do,’ Says Dallas Mom Who Shot Man Trying to Steal SUV With Kids Inside

By Dallas News. A woman shot a man in the head as he tried to steal her SUV with her two children inside Wednesday night, Dallas police say. . .

The mother was identified by KDFW-TV (Channel 4) as Michelle Booker-Hicks. She told the station she had recently gotten the gun to defend herself. . .

She said she told the man her children were in the back seat and to pull over but he didn’t listen, so she went to the glove compartment and grabbed the gun.

The suspect, 36-year-old Ricky Wright, was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. He faces two counts of unlawful restraint and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

The Daily Wire. Illegal alien Buena Ventura Martin Godinez issued a warning on Sunday to other migrants looking to illegally enter the United States, telling them to find another country because the Trump administration’s policies were tough.

CBS News reports that Martin Godinez had been separated from her 7-year-old daughter for approximately two months after being caught illegally entering the U.S.

“I would advise people to find another country to seek refuge because here the law is very tough,” Martin Godinez said. “People don’t have a heart.”

After Being Separated From Daughter at Border, Mom Warns Illegal Aliens to “Find Another Country”

It had been nearly two months since Buena Ventura Martin Godinez has seen her 7-year-old daughter after the frightened young mother was separated from her family trying to cross from Mexico into the U.S. They’ve spoken tearfully by phone, but seeing her at a Miami airport Sunday for the first time, she grabbed the child in a tight embrace, tears running down her cheeks during a reunion she feared may never happen.

“I feel very happy, now and to complete my joy I would like to have my husband released,” Martin said in Spanish as her daughter Janne clutched a stuffed dog and blue balloons and played with her younger brother at baggage claim. . .

Watch: Police Officers Sing Beautiful Rendition of ‘God Bless America’ on Song’s 100th Anniversary

Two Boston police officers made headlines this Fourth of July holiday, by singing a beautiful rendition of the coveted song “God Bless America” from their squad car. The video went viral for all the right reasons.

[Kim] Tavares said of her and “Stevie’s” tribute, “Music is universal. It brings the world together with so much bad news, I believe you need to see the real human side — that we’re human, people.”

She told The Patch, “I have driven with plenty of officers over my 17 years and the majority of them want them to stop singing.” Tavares says of her and McNulty’s video entitled “Carpool Karaoke,” that we might just see more of this.

On the Boston Police Department’s website, a statement was issued that read: “Happy to see two of our officers, Kim Tavares and Stephen McNulty, getting into the mood for all the upcoming 4th of July festivities planned for the Boston area and surrounding communities. Abolish ICE Group Distances Self From Woman Who Scaled Statue of Liberty

Authorities had to close and evacuate Liberty Island on Wednesday after a female protester scaled the Statue of Liberty. The woman, who was acting out against the White House policy of separating illegal immigrant families at the border, was eventually captured after a tense standoff with police. The ordeal lasted roughly four hours.

Before the protester’s climb, activists from a group called “Rise and Resist” hung a banner with a message about abolishing Immigration and Customs Enforcement from the statue. Six people were arrested after the stunt. . .

Immigration activists continue to demand the Trump administration end its zero tolerance policy of separating illegal immigrant families at the border. A U.S. Church Created This Controversial Display as a Protest Against Trump

An Indiana church is using church imagery in order to protest against President Donald Trump and his immigration policies.

Christ Church Cathedral in Indianapolis, Indiana, posted a picture of the display meant to protest the separation and detention of migrant families by the department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement under Trump.

“So we have the holy family in a chain link enclosure, much like the detention facilities that are being prepared and currently exists for families being detained indefinitely,” explained Reverend Stephen Carlsen of Christ Church Cathedral.

“And we’re hoping to draw attention to the fact that indefinite family detention is wrong and that this holy family, that were refugees seeking asylum in Egypt,” he said, “are representative of every family in detention.” . . .

Sexton Fred Andrews said that they hope the display will influence people at the ballot box when they vote.

Derp: Leftist Analyst Slams Possible Trump SCOTUS Pick for Hate Group Ties That Aren’t Real

Circuit Court Judge Amy Coney Barrett is a potential nominee to fill the vacancy that is going to be left by outgoing Justice Anthony Kennedy. She’s going to be torched. For starters, she’s been picked by Trump, which makes her an enemy of the state to liberals. Second, she’s Catholic. Yes, Senate Democrats had an issue with her faith during her confirmation hearing for the seventh circuit. With liberals gripped with fear over abortion rights, you bet the Catholic attacks are coming back.

The Left is gunning for whomever Trump selects, and right now, the person of interest for left-wingers is Judge Barrett. Yet, in their initial attack, they’ve already been clotheslined by reality. Let’s start with the false claim that Judge Barrett has ties to the “hate group” Alliance Defending Freedom. It stems from that terrible confirmation hearing last fall, where Democrats grilled the scary, conservative, and uber-Catholic Barrett. The charge was Barrett didn’t fully vet ADF for it’s alleged support for sterilizing transgender people, or something. Former Sen. AL Franken (D-MN), who resigned in disgrace after he allegedly groped multiple women, lobbed the accusation. It’s pure crap (via National Review):

Franken parroted the Southern Poverty Law Center’s claim that ADF is a “hate group” and faulted Barrett for speaking to ADF’s Blackstone Fellowship program.

A has-been comic who has evidently lost his sense of irony, Franken faulted Barrett for failing to “vet” ADF even as he failed to vet SPLC’s attack on ADF. For example, Franken quoted and credited SPLC’s claim that ADF “has defended state-sanctioned sterilization of transgendered people abroad.” And he then adopted the charge as his own: “This is a group that calls for the sterilization of transgender people abroad.”

Franken’s claim is flatly false. If Franken or his staff had bothered to click SPLC’s supposedly supporting link, they would have discovered that the European Court of Human Rights case that SPLC was relying on was one that involved the vexing question whether and when government-issued documents should redefine a person’s biological sex to comport with the person’s gender identity.
