A Democrat Just Suggested a Sickening Idea to Steal Guns From Americans

By WND. A Democratic candidate for sheriff in North Carolina is drawing fire after he suggested authorities should kill Americans to confiscate their firearms and then claimed he was joking.

R. Daryl Fisher, a former Asheville police officer who has been in law enforcement since 1985, was speaking at a Moms Demand Action meeting on March 7, 2018, at the West Asheville Library when he made the controversial comments.

Fisher’s campaign posted the following video of his speech on YouTube:

“Any weapon that is designed for use by the military, I think we should ban,” Fisher said. “You’ve heard people say you have to pry my gun from my cold, dead hands? (shrugs) OK.”

The audience laughs and applauds approvingly as Fisher smiles and adds: “Whenever you pass away, we’ll come get it. I dunno. I’m just saying. Joking just a little bit there.” (Read more from “A Democrat Just Suggested a Sickening Idea to Steal Guns From Americans” HERE)

An NC Sheriff Candidate’s Joke Led Thousands to Say He’s Willing to Kill to Take Guns

By News Observer. . . .R. Daryl Fisher is one of eight candidates running for sheriff of Buncombe County in western North Carolina. He’s one of five Democrats seeking to win the party’s nomination in a primary election on May 8.

The belief that he would kill for the sake of gun regulation arose from a “joke” he made during a meeting with voters in Asheville on March 7. Video was being recorded as Fisher answered questions about gun permits and offered suggestions for gun legislation . . .

The Twitter page for The Red Elephants, a conservative news outlet, posted that 30-second edited version of Fisher’s original video with text saying, “Suggests killing people to take their guns… Daryl Fisher candidate for sheriff in Buncombe County…”

The Red Elephants posted the video on Saturday, and by Monday afternoon it had more than 200,000 views and more than 4,000 retweets. (Read more from “An NC Sheriff Candidate’s Joke Led Thousands to Say He’s Willing to Kill to Take Guns” HERE)

Rapper Tells Gun-Grabbers: ‘You’re Not Woke,’ and ‘You’re Going to Progress Us Into Slavery’

By Bizpac Review. . .Rapper Killer Mike stunned Americans with an unabashed pro-Second Amendment interview for NRATV last week in which he called gun control advocates “lack[ies] of the progressive movement,” but ultimately issued an apology and declared support for Saturday’s March For Our Lives rally after receiving backlash.

“We’re raising a generation of kids where everyone gets’ a trophy. But in real life, everyone doesn’t get a trophy,” Killer Mike, real name Michael Render, told NRATV’s Colion Noir. “In real life, the cops don’t come on time.”

The artist said he instructed his children not to participate in the March 14 national school Walkout Day in support of stricter gun laws, telling them “I love you, but if you walk out that school, walk out my house.”

“You can’t continue to be the lackey,” he added. “You’re a lackey of the progressive movement because you have never disagreed with the people who tell you what to do.” (Read more from “Rapper Tells Gun-Grabbers: ‘You’re Not Woke,’ and ‘You’re Going to Progress Us Into Slavery'” HERE)

March for Our Lives: Hollywood Stars Among Thousands to March in Los Angeles in Support of Stricter Gun Controls

By The Independent. Hollywood celebrities lent their presence and political heft to the March for Our Lives gun control movement, and helped to rally Americans in a day of nationwide protest, by both donating large sums of money, as well as by showing up to march, speak and perform.

At Saturday’s march in Los Angeles, comedienne Amy Schumer, a showing of whose film Trainwreck was the scene of a 2015 shooting in a Louisiana theatre, spoke passionately against gun violence and the National Rifle Association (NRA) lobbying group at a gathering said to be 50,000-strong.

“How do they sleep at night? They call people like me ‘Hollywood liberals,’ like there’s something in it for us. Well, what’s in it for us is knowing we’re doing our part to keep our children alive,” she said . . .

The Los Angeles march was attended by droves of young people, many of whom had participated in the national school Walk-Out last week, and who paraded from downtown’s Broadway to City Hall to hear pop star Charlie Puth and Willow Smith, along with teen activists from Marjory Douglas Stoneman High in Florida, and LA’s Democratic Mayor Eric Garcetti, who is rumoured to be considering a run for the US presidency in 2020 . . .

Former First Lady of California Maria Shriver, ex-wife of actor and former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, also marched, and told The Independent she thought the experience was “energising”. Though there have been anti-gun protests before, she said, “it feels different this time”. Beer Brand Attacked After Posting This ‘Racist Ad’

. . .Heineken experienced a social-media backlash that accused an ad for its light beer as being racist because it said “lighter is better” and the complexions of the people in the clip.

In the clip, a bartender slides a Heineken Light to a woman standing some distance away. Some users noted that the bartender and the woman are both fair-complexioned while two of the three people the bottle passes are black and the other dark-skinned. The slogan “sometimes lighter is better” appears on the screen.

Heineken quickly knuckled under.

“For decades, Heineken has developed diverse marketing that shows there’s more that unites us than divides us,” a company spokesperson told Fox News. “While we feel the ad is referencing our Heineken Light beer, we missed the mark, are taking the feedback to heart and will use this to influence future campaigns.” (Read more from “Beer Brand Attacked After Posting This ‘Racist Ad'” HERE)

WATCH: Actors Read Gun Control Facts That Don’t Fit Liberal Agenda. Their Reactions Are Priceless.

Austen Fletcher, a YouTuber known for his “man on the street” videos, released a new video on Friday showing actors cold reading firearm facts don’t fit the liberal agenda. . .

How did the actors react to the facts?

“I just kind of blindly chose a side on the whole issue without really thinking about facts,” one of the actors admitted after the reading.

“It’s interesting to actually take the time and see what the facts say as opposed to what I personally feel,” that actor added.

“I mean, I’m gonna be honest. For me, I don’t really, like, go to the main news sources ‘cause a lot of it’s always, like, pushed by an agenda, you know what I mean? So, to get the real facts, you always have to do more research,” another [actor] said. (Read more from “WATCH: Actors Read Gun Control Facts That Don’t Fit Liberal Agenda. Bill Maher Repeats ‘Lie’ About Dana Loesch’s Past — Then Loesch Fires Back With the Truth

. . .Maher took aim at conservatives from Hollywood or those associated with Hollywood, such as Scott Baio, James Woods, Pat Sajak, President Donald Trump, among others. He also mocked Stacey Dash and Trump’s inauguration last year for having the band “3 Doors Down” perform while former President Barack Obama had superstars, such as Beyoncé and Stevie Wonder, perform at his . . .

“What you may not know about Dana Loesch is that before her job as NRA spokesmodel, she was a show business wannabe, a homemaker in St. Louis with a mommy-blog and a radio show and dreams of TV stardom,” Maher said.

He then regurgitated a claim from “NCIS” producer Paul Guyot, who alleged last month that Loesch once pitched him the idea for a show about “a hot young mom who does far right radio show.” According to Guyot, Loesch made the pitch 10 years ago and he turned her down . . .

How did Loesch respond?

When #MarchForOurLives Protesters Are Asked What an ‘Assault Weapon’ Actually Is, They Have No Idea

During Saturday’s #MarchForOurLives in Washington D.C., Campus Reform’s Cabot Phillips spoke with a number of protesters and asked them two simple questions.

First, Phillips asked what kind of policy changes need to be made. Nearly all of the protesters said legislators needs to enact a ban on “assault weapons.” But when he followed that up by asking what an assault weapon was, things got interesting.

Here are some of the best answers:

“Yeah, it’s um, assault weapon. It’s like, um — I kind of do, but kind of don’t.”

“No, I guess. But assault weapons, like, does that sound safe to you?”

Watch: Student’s ‘Salute’ After Speech Causes Major Twitter Reaction

On Saturday, an enraged student from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School gave a fiery speech, and at its conclusion threw up a salute that ignited a firestorm on social media.

Far-left activist David Hogg attacked Republicans during his speech, saying, “I’m going to start off by putting this price tag right here as a reminder for you guys to know how much Marco Rubio took for every student’s life in Florida.” . . .

Toward the end of his approximately four-minute speech, Hogg said, “Thank you. I love you all. God bless all of you and God bless America. We can and we will change the world!”

WATCH: Powerful Testimony of Luby’s Shooting Survivor Is Just as Relevant Today as It Was Decades Ago

On October 16, 1991, a man drove his truck into a Luby’s Cafeteria in Killeen, Texas. After crashing into the building, he opened fire on the restaurant patrons with a Ruger P89 and a Glock 17 — both handguns.

The shooter killed 23 people that day before taking his own life. Until 2007, the Luby’s Cafeteria attack stood as the deadliest mass-shooting in United States history.

Dr. Suzanna Gratia-Hupp, a survivor of the attack, later testified before Congress regarding the incident. Many years later, Gratia-Hupp’s testimony only seems to gain relevance as an indictment against ineffective, virtue-signaling gun control legislation: . . .

… I didn’t grow up in a house with guns. I don’t hunt; I personally abhor hunting. But I was given a gun by a friend when I was 21 to carry in my purse for self-defense. And I was taught how to use it. A couple of years ago, my parents and I went to a cafeteria in Texas on a bright, sunny day. We weren’t in a dark alley where we weren’t supposed to be, and as you all know the story, this madman drove his truck through the window, and he began shooting.

Well immediately, my father and I got down on the floor and put the table up in front of us. And this guy kept shooting. And you’re thinking, you know, what could it be? Is it a robbery? That’s the first thing that generally comes to mind. And he keeps shooting. It took me a good 45 seconds to realize that this man wasn’t there to commit a robbery; he wasn’t there for a hit; he was there to simply shoot as many people as he possibly could.

Female Rapper Just Made the Best Argument for Fiscal Conservatism of the Modern Era

On Friday, star rapper Cardi B dropped a track worth listening to . . . on tax reform. Cardi B isn’t famous for her economic analysis — her employment strategies are questionable, if the lyrics to “Bodak Yellow” are any indicator (“I’m a boss, you a worker bitch, I make bloody moves”), although she does ensure that she is paid for her work (“I’m there, I get paid a fee, I be in and out them banks so much I know they’re tired of me”). But after signing an enormous check to the government for taxes, she’s had enough of the IRS:

She stated:

Aight, so you know the government is taking 40 percent of my taxes, and Uncle Sam, I want to know what you’re doing with my f****** tax money, because you know what I’m sayin’, like, when you donate, like, when you donate to a kid from a foreign country, they give you updates of what they doing with your donation.

. . .

Cardi B is eminently correct. And this is the reason why it is such a mistake for Republicans to give up the mantle of fiscal conservatism in favor of big-spending payouts to various interest groups. Everybody’s paying taxes. And those taxes are being wasted. If Congress truly wants to do something important, they should end the process of tax withholding and instead force everyone to sign a check personally to the government. Then we might be ready for some real conversations about serious spending. (Read more from “Female Rapper Just Made the Best Argument for Fiscal Conservatism of the Modern Era” HERE)

Footage of Las Vegas Shooter Inside Mandalay Bay Finally Goes Public, and It’s Chilling

By Bizpac Review. After months of waiting, surveillance footage of Las Vegas gunman Stephen Paddock went public Thursday.

MGN resorts provided the New York Times with the video, which captured seven days of Paddock’s routine activities as he prepared to murder 58 people from his suite on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel.

The footage showed bellhops helping Paddock bring bag after bag up to his hotel room over the course of seven days. On several occasions, he was seen leaving to return to his home in Mesquite, Nev., only to return with more firearms and ammunition. Mandalay Bay Cameras Capture Stephen Paddock’s Actions Before 1 October Mass Shooting, MGM Releases Statement

By KTNV. MGM Resorts released the following statement about the surveillance video:

In the interest of providing greater context around Stephen Paddock’s actions in the days leading up to October 1, MGM Resorts has released these security videos and images. As the security footage demonstrates, Stephen Paddock gave no indication of what he planned to do and his interactions with staff and overall behavior were all normal. MGM and Mandalay Bay could not reasonably foresee that a long-time guest with no known history of threats or violence and behaving in a manner that appeared outwardly normal, would carry out such an inexplicably evil, violent and deadly act.

Our focus continues to be on supporting victims and their families, our guests and employees, and cooperating with law enforcement with their ongoing investigation.
