By Daily Caller. Google’s Veterans Day Doodle appears to feature a male Marine veteran wearing a dress covered halfway by a military uniform.

The second person to the left appears to be a red-headed man wearing what appears to be a dark-blue dress with white polka dots and a short purple sweater. The character is wearing a white Marine Corps. hat and a blue uniform on the left side.

The image includes an Air-Force Pilot-turned-painter, Marine-turned-teacher, Navy seaman-turned-businessman, Coast-guardsman-turned-doctor, an Army soldier-turned-amputee-biker and a Space Force Guardsman-turned-baker, according to the Ledger Inquirer.

Army Veteran Designed Google Veterans Day Doodle

By The Ledger-Enquirer. A Columbus artist and Army veteran’s design will be seen by millions of users this Veterans Day.

Steve Tette, a 2010 and 2013 graduate of Columbus State University’s art education program, was chosen to design the “Google Doodle” for Veterans Day, according to a news release from CSU. Tette spent 20 years serving in the Army before retiring and pursuing art. . .

KISS rock star Gene Simmons is not mincing words when it comes to those who remain unvaccinated against COVID-19, calling them “an enemy.”

“If you’re willing to walk among us unvaccinated, you are an enemy,” Simmons declared during an appearance on the Rock N Roll Channel on TalkShopLive.

“Stay away from evil people who don’t care about your health,” he said.

When host Steve Harkins said that the issue appears to be “pretty much black and white, [and] not a political game,” Simmons jumped back in.

“It has become political, unfortunately, the far left and the far right, are both evil. They both spread all kinds of nonsense,” Simmons said. “Politics are the enemy. Humanism and humanity is what we should all be concerned about. Scientists Stunned by COVID Findings in Deer Population That Could Extend the Pandemic

Scientists studying coronavirus infections in deer said they were stunned at their findings and cautioned that deer may complicate and extend the pandemic.

Veterinarians at Pennsylvania State University found active SARS-CoV-2 infections in at least 30% of the deer tested from Iowa in 2020. The findings were published online in a study last week.

“It was actually quite stunning to us,” said Penn State veterinary microbiologist Vivek Kapur. “We were very surprised to see such a high number of positive samples.”

42 Fully Vaccinated Indiana Residents Have Died Of COVID-19 Over 1 Week; Matthew McConaughey Says He Wants to ‘Find Out More Information’ Before Mandating Vaccines for His Children

By International Business Times. More than 40 fully vaccinated residents have died of COVID-19 in Indiana over the past week as breakthrough infections continue to rise, according to state data.

Indiana health officials recorded 42 cases of breakthrough COVID-19 deaths among the fully vaccinated between Oct. 29 and Nov. 4. The state has now reported 623 deaths among the fully vaccinated, which represents 0.018% of its inoculated population.

At least 89% of the breakthrough deaths involved fully vaccinated individuals aged 65 and older, with an average age of 78, according to the state’s COVID-19 Vaccination Dashboard.

During the same period, the state also recorded 2,994 new confirmed COVID-19 cases among the fully vaccinated. The state has reported a total of 59,228 breakthrough infections since the beginning of the pandemic, representing 1.753% of its fully vaccinated population.

Breakthrough COVID-19 hospitalizations also increased over the past week. Between Oct. 29 and Nov. 4, health officials recorded 84 new admissions. There are currently 1,268 inoculated residents admitted with the novel coronavirus statewide. The figures represent 0.038% of the state’s fully vaccinated population. Matthew McConaughey Says He Wants to ‘Find Out More Information’ Before Mandating Vaccines for His Children

The issue has become a hot-button topic since a vaccination against coronavirus was made widely available early this year for adults.

In recent weeks, developers have been working toward making the vaccine available to children, prompting questions about whether such a vaccine should be mandated for kids.

Speaking at The New York Times’ DealBook summit, the 52-year-old actor expressed hesitancy to require his children to get the vaccine.

School Board Member Publicized Parents’ Social Security Numbers, Divorce Proceedings, Financial Records In Effort To Track Outspoken Parents

Parents with children enrolled in the Scottsdale Unified School District were appalled when they uncovered that one of the district’s school board members had editing access to a Google Drive that included personal pictures and information on a slew of outspoken parents, including their social security numbers, a divorce proceeding, and financial records.

Mother Kim Stafford uncovered a Google Drive link when school board President Jann-Michael Greenberg sent her an email accusing her of “anti-Semitic” comments against billionaire George Soros. Greenburg sent Stafford a screenshot of his desktop, which included a since-deleted Google Drive URL reviewed by the Daily Caller. The drive was available to anyone who had the link.

Stafford shared the link with her friends, including mother Amanda Wray who told the Daily Caller she was “disgusted” when she saw that the drive included pictures of her 8 and 10-year-old daughters.

Parents have since dubbed the Google Drive an “online dossier.” The folders housed within the dossier are labeled “SUSD Wackos,” “Press Conference Psychos,” and “Anti Mask Lunatics,” among others. Included under “Press Conference Psychos” was a video that shows parents calmly holding signs that read “CRT is Racist” and “SUSD We Demand Transparency.”

The dossier takes specific aim at the concerned parent group “Community Advocacy Network” (CAN). Administrators and founders of CAN’s active Facebook page have folders dedicated to screenshots of their Facebook comments, pictures of them with their husbands, and in some cases financial records. Lawmakers Demand U.S. Punish Country for Criminalizing Christianity as a ‘Hate Crime’ (VIDEO)

Six Republican U.S. representatives Wednesday issued a letter demanding that the United States take action against Finland for criminalizing Christianity through its hate crimes laws.

Prosecutors in Finland are pressing charges against a Protestant bishop and a member of the national Parliament for publicly stating what the Bible teaches about sex and marriage.

Bishop Juhana Pohjola and Parliament member Paivi Rasanen face fines and up to two years in prison under “hate crimes” laws that effectively criminalize speech and set the government up as the arbiter of what religious beliefs are legal in Finland. One of the charges against Rasanen is the alleged crime of posting a Bible verse on Twitter.

“Free people should not have to violate and recant their deepest convictions to remain part of a free society,” the U.S. lawmakers write in response to this situation. “True religious liberty both protects an individual’s right both to hold beliefs that are unpopular with the prevailing cultural winds of the world, but also their right to live out authentically and profess the truths they hold dear without fear of government interference. Those rights are fundamental and unalienable to the whole human race, and it is critical to the flourishing of both the human soul and civil society.”

Rasanen and Pohjola have each been interrogated for hours by Finnish officials for stating beliefs that Christians have held for thousands of years. They will stand trial in January.

Key Rittenhouse Witness Claims He Was Asked to Change His Statement by Prosecution; Prosecution Rests in Trial After Witness Admits He Pointed Gun at Him

By Daily Caller. A key witness for the prosecution in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial testified Tuesday that he was asked to change his statement by the prosecution team.

Nathan DeBruin was taking photographs of the events the night that Rittenhouse killed two protestors and injured another, according to WISN.

Prosecutor Thomas Binger asked DeBruin to identify a person in a picture, according to DeBruin’s testimony.

When DeBruin didn’t know who the person was, Binger allegedly identified the person as Joshua Zaminsky. . .

Prosecution Rests in Rittenhouse Trial After Witness Admits He Pointed Gun at Him

By Washington Examiner. Prosecutors in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial rested their case Tuesday following a week of testimony that at times appeared to hurt them more than help.

Much of the explosive testimony came on Monday when Gaige Grosskreutz , the only person to survive being shot by Rittenhouse, lent support to the defense’s central claim that Rittenhouse acted in self-defense on Aug. 25, 2020. That night, Rittenhouse shot and wounded Grosskreutz in the arm minutes after fatally shooting Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, and Anthony Huber, 26.

Grosskreutz, a trained EMT who traveled to Kenosha on his own behalf to render medical aid to protesters, testified Monday as the state’s star witness.

However, his testimony underscored the uphill battle prosecutors have faced trying to prove Rittenhouse was a trigger-happy tourist who purposely inserted himself into the chaos unfolding in Kenosha.

Hundreds of protesters showed up to the small Wisconsin manufacturing town after footage went viral of white police officer Rusten Sheskey shooting Jacob Blake Jr ., a black man, seven times in the back. How 31 Republicans Just Betrayed the Country to Reward Illegal Immigration, Worsen Inflation, and Pay Off Democrats’ Donors

At nearly midnight on Friday, 13 House Republicans gave Speaker Nancy Pelosi the votes she needed to pass the so-called “bipartisan infrastructure bill” — colloquially known in DC as the BIF. In doing so, these House Republicans, among them two members of the House GOP leadership team, all but guaranteed House passage of Joe Biden’s hotly partisan, $2 trillion reconciliation bill, which represents the largest cradle-to-grave expansion of federal power since the New Deal.

Over at National Review, Philip Klein called the move by these 13 Republicans “political malpractice,” and a “betrayal.” He’s right, particularly on the first point.

Republicans who supported the bill predictably justified their vote as one for “roads and bridges,” pointing to the benefits that the bill’s largest provisions — like the $47 billion in climate funding and the $66 billion for the failing Amtrak system, provided without any reform — will ostensibly bring to their districts.

As Rep. Don Bacon (R-Neb.) told The Hill, “I thought it was good for our district, I thought it was good for our country.” Meanwhile, left-of-center commentator Andrew Sullivan huffed about the “fanatical tribalism” being applied to a bill about infrastructure.

That the BIF was a bill solely focused on infrastructure may have been true at the bill’s conception. But for months, a single and unavoidable political reality has been obvious: the substance of the bill hardly mattered. Rather, the infrastructure bill was but a chit, a chess piece, in forcing through passage of the larger, hotly partisan reconciliation legislation. Their fates were linked; one would not pass without the other. Feds Pull Trigger, Collect Records on 54 Million U.S. Gun Owners

Joe Biden’s administration in Washington is collecting records on millions of gun owners across America, raising concern the anti-gun sentiment in the ranks of his appointees will deal a blow to the Second Amendment.

That Biden is anti-gun is supported by the evidence of his actions, which haven’t always followed the truth.

The Hill reported Biden was hit with a “fact-check” from the Washington Post recently when he repeated “a false claim … that the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution bars citizens from owning cannons.”

Biden claimed that the Constitution limits “the type of people who could own a gun and what type of weapon…”

Audit: Wisconsin Could Have Counted Enough Illegal Votes to Tip the 2020 Election to Biden

Explosive revelations in the Wisconsin Legislative Audit Bureau’s report on the 2020 presidential election confirm what many in the key swing state have long suspected: Those tasked with administering the election willfully ignored and openly violated state law.

The Wisconsin Elections Commission (WEC), the governmental body tasked with administering elections in Wisconsin, is comprised of six appointed commissioners, three from each political party, and a staff that reports to them. Critically, if the commissioners deadlock on an issue before them, no official action is taken and local authorities are left to interpret the recommendations of WEC’s staff.

As a result, the overwhelming majority of WEC’s decisions during the 2020 election cycle were essentially made by unelected, unappointed, and obviously left-leaning bureaucrats. Both they and the commissioners who oversee them were downright derelict in their duty to fairly and impartially supervise an election run by city and county clerks and poll workers who were not properly trained and did not receive accurate, lawful guidance.

For instance, Wisconsin Statute 6.87(9) provides that “if a municipal clerk receives an absentee ballot with an improperly completed certificate or with no certificate, the clerk may return the ballot to the elector, inside the sealed envelope when an envelope is received, together with a new envelope if necessary, whenever time permits the elector to correct the defect and return the ballot.”

In direct violation of this law, WEC issued guidance to clerks in 2016 that allowed clerks to “cure” such incorrect information on ballot certificates themselves. The Legislative Audit Bureau (LAB) did not investigate the number of certificates that clerks cured, but still found a significant number of incomplete ballots that, according to state law, should not have been counted.
