High-Profile Scientists Keep Winding Up Dead Or Missing — GOP Rep Suggests There May Be A Conspiracy At Play

Several prominent scientists and researchers in the U.S. have reportedly died or gone missing over the past year, fueling speculation about whether some of the disappearances may have occurred under suspicious circumstances.

William Neil McCasland, a 68-year-old retired Air Force major general who had knowledge of UFOs, went missing in New Mexico on Feb. 27, NewsNation reported. Republican Tennessee Rep. Tim Burchett told the Daily Mail on Sunday that he believes there may be a pattern emerging of other researchers throughout the nation similarly disappearing “under suspicious circumstances.”

“There have been several others throughout the country that have disappeared under suspicious circumstances,” Burchett told the outlet. “I think we ought to be paying attention to it.”

The congressman also indicated that “the numbers seem very high in these certain areas of research,” adding “I think we’d better be paying attention, and I don’t think we should trust our government.” He went on to claim that researchers with knowledge about UFOs are usually “very secretive about what they know.”

“Everybody’s talking about the UFO stuff,” the Tennessee Republican told the Daily Mail. “Those folks are very secretive about what they know. So I suspect very much that [McCasland] was involved in some of that.” (Read more from “High-Profile Scientists Keep Winding Up Dead Or Missing — GOP Rep Suggests There May Be A Conspiracy At Play” HERE)

Mystery Hum ‘Like a Huge Engine Idling’ Heard Across US

A mysterious hum has been heard across several US states, rattling locals who have been struggling to sleep.

Residents have said the noise is disrupting their daily life, and they believe they know what “monstrosity” is behind it.

The humming sound has been reported throughout New Jersey, Connecticut and Virginia.

Some of the latest reports are coming out of Vineland, New Jersey, where locals have revealed the sound started up after construction for a 2.4 million-square-foot data center began.

Although, officials have yet to confirm a link between the construction and the sound.

“That is not construction, and that monstrosity is only partially built,” Scott Montgomery, who lives about a half mile from the site, told ABC6. (Read more from “Mystery Hum ‘Like a Huge Engine Idling’ Heard Across US” HERE)

Pope Leo Hosts Exorcist Summit at the Vatican Over Fears of Worldwide Surge in Satanism

. . .Pope Leo XIV hosted the world’s most senior exorcists at the Vatican, who reportedly warned him of a terrifying global rise in “occultism, esotericism, and Satanism.”

The Chicago-born head of the Catholic church held a private meeting with a delegation of Catholic priests from the International Association of Exorcists (AIE) this month, according to EWTN Vatican.

“They presented a report on the growing prevalence of cases related to occultism, esotericism, and Satanism, and the spiritual consequences they believe this has for many people,” the outlet reported.

“During the meeting, the Association asked the Pontiff to ensure that every diocese in the world has one or more adequately trained exorcist priests.”

Father Francesco Bamonte, AIE vice president, said ignoring these concerns “leaves many faithful without an adequate response to grave spiritual suffering, sometimes pushing them toward inappropriate solutions.” (Read more from “Pope Leo Hosts Exorcist Summit at the Vatican Over Fears of Worldwide Surge in Satanism” HERE)

Sexual Act Overtakes Smoking as the Leading Cause of Throat Cancer

We’re told to be more vigilant than ever about how we look after our bodies, and while we all know the dangers of smoking and can’t believe it was once marketed as ‘healthy’ decades ago, it turns out that an unexpected sex act could be even more deadly when it comes to contracting throat cancer.

With cancer being the second-leading cause of death in the USA, we’re told to look out for key warning signs and try to limit potential triggers. Whether that be from smoking, alcohol, or even carcinogenic foods like lunch meats, cancer contributors are everywhere.

You might not think that a bit of ‘how’s your father’ could cause throat cancer, but like we previously reported on the man who contracted it via oral sex, there’s been a spike in oropharyngeal cancer diagnoses.

In 2023, cases of oropharyngeal cancer in the USA and UK were more common than cervical cancer, with the human papillomavirus (HPV) being the leading cause. It’s now said that oral sex is the main cause of throat cancer, overtaking smoking. . .

The CDC adds that HPV is attributed to between 60% and 70% of oropharyngeal cancers in the USA. (Read more from “Sexual Act Overtakes Smoking as the Leading Cause of Throat Cancer” HERE)

Trump Lays Out Terms For End To Iran War; Netanyahu Says Israel Will Continue to Attack Iran

By Daily Caller. President Donald Trump on Monday outlined the conditions Iran would have to meet for Operation Epic Fury to end.

Trump announced Monday morning that talks had started between the United States and Iran, pausing a planned strike on Iranian power plants for five days. Trump spoke to reporters before boarding Air Force One en route to an event in Memphis.

“We’re looking for all of the things that we’ve been talking about,” Trump told reporters. “We want to see no nuclear bomb, no nuclear weapon, not even close to it, low-key on the missiles. We want to see peace in the Middle East. We want the nuclear dust, we’re going to want that, and I think we’re going to get that.”

“We’ve agreed to that, yes, we’ve agreed to that uranium … we want no enrichment, but we also want the enriched uranium,” Trump continued. “If this happens, it’s a great start for Iran to build itself back, and it’s everything that we want, and it’s also great for Israel and it’s great for the other Middle Eastern countries, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, all of them, Kuwait and Bahrain in particular, so it’s great for all of them.”

Trump announced the start of Operation Epic Fury in a Feb. 28 post on Truth Social after negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program collapsed. Steve Witkoff, President Trump’s Middle East envoy, said in a March 2 interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity that Iranian diplomats declared the regime would keep enriching uranium and claimed to already possess enough material for nearly a dozen “dirty” weapons. Netanyahu Says Israel Will Continue to Attack Iran Despite Trump’s Deescalation Post

By Mediaite. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said his country will continue “smashing” Iran while the United States discusses a potential deal to end the war with what’s left of Iran’s leadership.

Netanyahu shared the update in a video post a few hours after President Donald Trump said the U.S. and Iran have held “PRODUCTIVE CONVERSATIONS” on a potential end to “HOSTILITIES”; Trump also announced a temporary halt on his plan to bomb Iran’s power plants, which was set to start on Monday night if Iran did not meet his deadline to “FULLY OPEN” the Strait of Hormuz.

Netanyahu — in a brief video posted on X — said that he had spoken with “our friend” Trump on Monday, and that he believes there is “an opportunity to leverage the tremendous achievements we have reached alongside the U.S. military to realize the goals of the war through an agreement that will safeguard our vital interests.”

He then said Israel will continue to strike Iran — as well as Lebanon — while the sides negotiate.

“We are smashing the missile program and the nuclear program, and we continue to deal severe blows to Hezbollah,” Netanyahu said.

ICE Arrest of Illegal Migrant Fugitive at San Francisco Airport Sparks Fear-Mongering — Here’s what Really Happened

Viral video of a woman being nabbed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers at San Francisco International Airport sparked mass online fear-mongering about Trump’s deployment of immigration agents to help ease the TSA security crisis.

Video captured the moment ICE agents began handcuffing a crying woman on Sunday at around 10 p.m. inside the airport’s Terminal 3.

The officers were met with backlash from multiple passengers who filmed the scene and yelled at them, as the woman continued to cry with a young girl standing beside her, also sobbing. . .

@argw6 ICE at SFO 3/22 10pm I’m not from the area- if anyone knows what organizations in the area I can send this to to help identify this woman please let me know. (I called SF rapid response network but no one answered and I left a message) SF Police shielded these unidentified men as they illegally detained a woman with a young child at SFO airport #ice #sanfrancisco #cbp #iceout #bayarea #icesanfrancisco #sfo ♬ original sound – argw

However, the Department of Homeland Security told Fox News that the woman was part of a family of illegal Guatemalan migrants who have had removal orders since 2019.

Agents arrested the family members as part of a targeted operation, but as they were being escorted away, the woman broke free and ran, according to DHS. (Read more from “ICE Arrest of Illegal Migrant Fugitive at San Francisco Airport Sparks Fear-Mongering — Here’s what Really Happened” HERE)

Scientists Discover ‘Death Complex’ that Could Worsen Alzheimer’s — and How to Fight it

Scientists have long been racking their brains to crack the mechanism behind Alzheimer’s disease progression.

They may have finally found a crucial clue. A research team from Heidelberg University in Germany recently uncovered a hidden “switch” that acts like a death trigger for brain cells and plays a key role in cognitive decline.

The study also highlighted a new, experimental drug that could block the process, opening up possibilities for more effective treatments in the future.

With over 7 million people over 65 battling the degenerative disease — and the number expected to almost double by 2050 — new treatments are constantly being explored that tackle the toxic proteins that accumulate in the brain.

Researchers from Heidelberg and Shandong University in China used a mouse model of Alzheimer’s to examine a molecular process in the brain involving two previously studied proteins: the NMDA receptor and the TRPM4 ion channel. Trump Blasts Robert Mueller after News of ex-FBI Director, Russia Special Counsel’s Death: ‘Good’

President Trump celebrated the death of former FBI director and special counsel Robert Mueller with a teeth-baring social media post on Saturday.

“Robert Mueller just died. Good, I’m glad he’s dead. He can no longer hurt innocent people! President DONALD J. TRUMP,” he posted shortly after Mueller’s death was announced.

Mueller was named special counsel and tasked with investigating the 2016 election which hung over the head of Trump throughout his first term in office.

The now dead former G-man concluded that Russia interfered, mainly on social media, with the intent of benefitting Trump.

No charges against the president came from the investigation, though Mueller refused to formally exonerate Trump. (Read more from “Trump Blasts Robert Mueller after News of ex-FBI Director, Russia Special Counsel’s Death: ‘Good’” HERE)

A Once-in-a-4,433-Year Heat Wave Is Hitting the Western U.S.

It is difficult to describe how bonkers this week’s heat wave is in the southwestern United States. Alan Gerard, a typically even-keeled meteorologist with 35 years of forecasting experience under his belt, attempted to do so in a recent edition of his newsletter, Balanced Weather. He settled on: “jaw-dropping,” “insane,” “truly historic,” “literally flabbergasting,” “incredible,” and “anomalous [even for] the middle of summer.”

Jeff Berardelli, the chief meteorologist at WFLA, the NBC affiliate in Tampa, tried to contextualize it on social media, noting that based on historical patterns, Phoenix could expect a March day as hot as it was on Thursday — 105 degrees Fahrenheit — only once every 4,433 years.

Phoenix is just one part of the story. The heat wave — which began ramping up on Tuesday, peaks Friday, and won’t subside until early next week — has set or tied March record highs in at least 480 locations so far, stretching from New Mexico to Southern Oregon. California has already broken the record for the hottest winter day ever recorded anywhere in the U.S.: 109 degrees on Thursday at a station in the eastern Coachella Valley. “The extent and magnitude of this particular heat wave is without comparison to anything that we’ve seen in March,” John Abatzoglou, a professor of Climatology at the University of California, Merced, who specializes in climate impacts in the West, told me.

That’s partially because this heat wave would be “virtually impossible for the time of year in a world without human-induced climate change,” per a report released Friday by scientists from World Weather Attribution. Heat waves have one of the clearest climate signals of any extreme weather event because a hotter planet means a hotter baseline. “Across almost the entire western U.S., temperatures [this week] were made at least five times more likely due to climate change,” Zachary Labe, a climate scientist at Climate Central, which maps the effects on daily temperatures, told me.

The March 2026 heat wave is likely to become a reference point in the same vein as the 2021 heat dome in the Pacific Northwest, subject to study, research, and scrutiny by climatologists, public health experts, hydrologists, and emergency managers in the months and years to come. The consequences of the current heat wave will also outlast the record temperatures. When it is this hot — and, more importantly, when it is this hot this soon — the effects compound, touching everything from hydropower capacity to the coming wildfire season.
