Trump Campaign Zeroes in on Nickname for Joe Biden

By Daily Wire. President Donald Trump’s 2020 campaign team is reportedly coming up with nicknames for opponents he may face in the presidential race and they appear to have settled on one for former Vice President Joe Biden.

The New York Post reports that “the current favorite for the former veep is ‘Creepy Joe’ — a reference to Biden’s supposed habit of touching and kissing strangers and staffers alike.”

Trump has often used nicknames to brand political opponents — a tactic that has proven to be successful in the past, most notably with “Crooked” Hillary Clinton.

Trump Already Cooking up New Nicknames for 2020 Rivals

By New York Post. President Trump’s campaign team is hard at work on a new crop of nicknames with which to torment his 2020 rivals, we’re told.

While 2016’s “Lyin’ Ted,” “Lil Marco” and “Crooked Hillary” — the names he bestowed on rival presidential candidates Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and Hillary Clinton — appeared to be off-the-cuff feats of casual bullying, we’re told campaign operatives are busily workshopping punchy names for potential front-runners for the next White House race. . .

We’re told Team Trump settled on that title a couple of months ago — and, sure enough, Trump tried out the name at a Nevada rally in October.

He told the crowd that he called Biden “1 Percent,” referring to what Trump claimed was Biden’s lack of support in previous presidential bids. (Read more from “Trump Already Cooking up New Nicknames for 2020 Rivals” HERE)

So Who Do Democrats Most Want to Run in 2020? This Poll Reveals the Truth

By Daily Wire. So who is leading among the sizable list of potential candidates that Democrats hope to see take down Donald Trump in 2020? The results of a new Politico/Morning Consult poll isn’t quite as “woke” as you might think. In fact, none of the leading candidates are women, or minorities, and two out of the three meet the description of Democrats’ least favorite demographic: old white males (the third is a not-that-old white male).

The survey of 1,952 registered voters was conducted right after the “most important midterm elections in history” wrapped up, leaving us with a newly Democrat-controlled House but a still-Republican controlled Senate. Despite the changing scene in Washington, the poll offered some familiar results.

The Democratic frontrunner, according to Politico’s poll: old white guy Joe Biden, who managed to grab just over a quarter (26%) of the Democrats’ vote for who they’d most like to see facing off against Trump in two years. Biden has already twice-failed to win a presidential bid, back in 1988 and then 20 years later in 2008. As a consolation prize, he was handed the vice presidency by Barack Obama on his second try. After considering running in 2016, he ultimately opted out amid a family tragedy.

The runner-up is also not the freshest name on the list: Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, who isn’t even really a Democrat, and who also failed to win a presidential bid, and against the widely unpopular Hillary Clinton, no less. Sanders managed to get about a fifth of the votes (19%). (Read more from “So Who Do Democrats Most Want to Run in 2020? This Poll Reveals the Truth” HERE)

Bloomberg charts aggressive timeline on 2020 bid

By AP. Having spent a fortune to help elect Democrats this fall, former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg declared lifetime allegiance to the Democratic Party on Tuesday and outlined an aggressive timeline for deciding whether to run for president.

“I think January, February would be about as late as you can do it and as early as you can gather enough information,” Bloomberg told The Associated Press in an interview. (Read more from “Bloomberg charts aggressive timeline on 2020 bid” HERE)

According to WSJ, Hillary Will Run Again

Hillary Rodham Clinton will run for president again in 2020, and she has reinvented herself in order to do it.

At least, that is what is online Sunday afternoon at the Wall Street Journal. The headline reads “Hillary Will Run Again”, the subhead reads “Reinventing herself as a liberal firebrand, Mrs. Clinton will easily capture the 2020 nomination,” the authors are Mark Penn and Andrew Stein, and it runs in print on Monday.

“Get ready for Hillary Clinton 4.0. More than 30 years in the making, this new version of Mrs. Clinton, when she runs for president in 2020, will come full circle—back to the universal-health-care-promoting progressive firebrand of 1994,” it begins. “True to her name, Mrs. Clinton will fight this out until the last dog dies. She won’t let a little thing like two stunning defeats stand in the way of her claim to the White House.”

Warning their excited target audience — who are already dancing in the virtual streets on social media — not to “pay much attention to the ‘I won’t run’ declarations,” they argue that the generation of Democrats who have been salivating over a power vacuum after the reign of the Clintons have proved too incompetent to take the reins. . .

The piece runs through a brief history of slime, covering Hillary classics from “It Takes a Village” through the Hope and Change desert (with a brief layover in “she won more delegates than him” land), and on into the Bernie Sanders doldrums. (You know, doldrums in the oceanic sense, not the hum-drummery sense.) Eventually it moves into newer songs like losing the midwest. Then finally to the crescendo. Watch: Hillary Clinton Makes Terrifying 2020 Revelation

During a Q&A at an event over the weekend, former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton wouldn’t rule out running for president again in 2020.

When asked point-blank if she was planning to run again in 2020, Clinton quipped “No,” then quickly added that she’d “like to be president.”

Here’s How Much Money Trump Has Raised for 2020

President Donald Trump is off to a great start with fundraising for 2020. According to CNN, Trump has raised over $100 million. From the July to September fundraising quarter alone, the president brought in $18 million. . .

Although the campaign has millions in the bank, they have also spent $7.7 million over the last three months. $1.5 million alone went to legal expenses while $1.6 million was spent on advertising, NBC News reported.

The president has been a steady connection with the average American. Interestingly enough, campaign officials 98 percent of Trump’s third quarter donations total $200 or less, signaling his popularity amongst the common, working class American.

The campaign attributes Trump’s popularity to his results-driven agenda and a booming economy that has significantly helped the majority of Americans.

“After twenty months in office with unparalleled results for peace and prosperity in America, President Trump has provided the results he promised,” Lara Trump, Trump’s daughter-in-law and a senior campaign adviser, said in a statement. “And grassroots America has responded to these remarkable results and the booming Trump economy with their generous support of our campaign.” (Read more from “Here’s How Much Money Trump Has Raised for 2020” HERE)

This Might Be the Best Thing to Look Forward to in 2020

For those of us already weary from the 2018 midterms (and maybe with some leftover exhaustion from 2016), the thought of jumping back into a presidential election cycle early next year is, well, nothing short of absolutely dreadful.

But there will be at least one silver lining to look forward to during the primaries.

A story over at Roll Call details how potential 2020 Democratic primary contenders like former Vice President Joe Biden and Sens. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., Kamala Harris, D-Calif., and Cory Booker, D-N.J., are already planning some forays into critical battleground territories outside their home turfs in places like Nevada, Ohio, and South Carolina.

This primary race is going to make some great television, folks. Here’s why:

In case anyone forgot in the midterm fog, the 2020 Democratic primary will mean politicians who have so far built their political brands on things like far-left open borders policies (and twisting the history of the Founding to push them); attacking a member of the intelligence community for doing her job after 9/11; all-out socialized medicine; grandstandingly comparing oneself to Spartacus; calling oneself Native American; and insinuating that Christian beliefs disqualifiy someone from an executive branch appointment are going to have to at least try to make their case to folks outside their leftist/liberal strongholds.

Think about it: Kamala Harris trying to sell amnesty policies to voters in Iowa or South Carolina; Elizabeth Warren trying to get past her Native American DNA fail to actual Native Americans in Arizona; Cory Booker trying to get past the “Spartacus” routine in Iowa.

And some of them are going to have a very hard time when they realize just how far-left policies, anti-Trump resistance tactics, and brazen identity politics actually play outside their deep-blue stomping grounds.

It’s going to be like a political hybrid of MTV’s “Road Rules” and Billy Crystal’s 1991 comedy classic “City Slickers.” That is, it’s going to be spectacular. (For more from the author of “This Might Be the Best Thing to Look Forward to in 2020” please click HERE)

BOOM: Poll Reveals Trump’s Expected 2020 Results

We’re not even done with the 2018 election cycle, but news networks and Democrats are already talking about 2020. Expect that to increase astronomically if the Democrats have a good election night. With less than 30 days to go, the polls for the House continue to shift, and it could be a long night on those races, though the chances for Democrats to retake the Senate now looks like this year’s electoral unicorn.

So, now that we’re on the 2020 discussion, two things have happened. Former Vice President Joe Biden is a top contender for the Democrats’ 2020 field, and more voters now say that they see Donald J. Trump winning a second term and keeping America great. CNN contributor David Gergen and The Atlantic’s Ronald Brownstein discussed what lies ahead for the Left. Gergen said that it’s key for the party out of power to have a message and an agenda when they come out of the wilderness; the Democrats don’t have that. Brownstein noted that there are still a lot of obstacles for Democrats outside of their urban bases of support. . .

The Democrats’ message so far is ‘we hate Trump.’ Okay—how will you improve the economy? We’ll raise taxes. Well, there’s a hurdle right there, and we haven’t even gone into how the House committees are going to go insane with their investigations into Trump’s taxes, the Russian collusion nonsense, voter ID laws, and Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. It’s going to be madness, a do-nothing Congress—though something that Trump could definitely run on in 2020.

This is perfect punching bag material for the president. I’m trying to keep the economy growing while they want to obstruct and see if my campaign colluded with the Russians, for which there is still zero evidence to substantiate that allegation. It’ll be a clown show. And if there’s one thing we’ve seen from Democrats as of late when it comes to fighting this White House is that they overreach—badly.

LOL: This Gun-Grabbing Dem Is Considering a Presidential Run

So Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., said Monday that he’s open to running for president in 2020.

That’s right, the guy who made headlines for pushing for outright gun confiscation back in May and who peddles Obamacare via specious Thanksgiving anecdotes thinks he might somehow have a shot at winning the electoral college.

And why not? Because with Sens. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., Cory Booker, D-N.J., and Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., all potentially running for the Oval Office, there might not be enough far-left coastal politicians in the next Democratic primary.

But even though his name recognition might not be anywhere near that of his fellow party members mentioned above, he’s shown that he can hang with the best of them when it comes to far-left shenanigans. Let’s take a look at some of his greatest hits.

When he appeared on Tucker Carlson’s Fox show to defend his extreme gun control stance, it didn’t go so well.

It got even worse when he tried to double down on his agenda a few days later. Like, really bad.

Then a few days later, he got into a Twitter fight with a Parkland survivor (and lost).

Then a few weeks later he went back on Tucker Carlson Tonight to talk about Spygate, and that didn’t go well for him, either.

He also likes to use gifs to push Russia theories while attacking the president’s daughter.

Yeah, he’s really big on the whole Russia thing, turns out:

But, Obama officials unmasking private citizens isn’t really that big a deal.

Oh, and he appears to be pretty sympathetic to the impeachment cause.

You know what? With the way 2020 is shaping up so far, if he does run, he’ll fit right in. (For more from the author of “LOL: This Gun-Grabbing Dem Is Considering a Presidential Run” please click HERE)

New Poll Finds Dem Would Beat Trump in Hypothetical Matchup

Former Vice President Joe Biden would beat President Trump in a hypothetical 2020 matchup, according to a new poll.

Politico/Morning Consult found Biden would be 7 points ahead of the current commander in chief, with 44 percent of registered voters saying they’d support the former VP compared to 37 percent who said they’d vote to reelect Trump.

Registered Democrats favored a generic candidate over Biden by 9 points, with 89 percent saying they would vote for a generic Democrat compared to 80 percent who said they would vote for Biden. . .

“Biden never by himself could ever do anything. President Obama took him, made him vice president and he was fine. But you go back and look at how he succeeded in running, when he ran two or three times, I don’t think he ever … broke one. He was at the … 1 percent or less level,” Trump added. . .

Expect to see many more polls like this in the weeks and months to come. Of course you remember that just days before the 2016 presidential election pollsters and statisticians put Clinton’s odds of winning between 75 and 99 percent. So take these surveys with a grain of salt. (Read more from “New Poll Finds Dem Would Beat Trump in Hypothetical Matchup” HERE)

Top 4 Candidates for 2020 Revealed. It’s Hilarious.

By The Daily Wire. If you thought this week could not possibly turn out more wins for conservatives, think again! According to a new poll, the Democrats’ best hopes for 2020 include twice-failed candidate Hillary Clinton. . .

According to The Hill, former Vice President Joe Biden took the top spot in a Harvard CAPS/Harris poll from this month, with 32% of the vote. But, there she was: Hillary was named the Democrats’ second best option, with 18%.

And from there it was another familiar name: Vermont socialist Bernie Sanders, who lost to Hillary during the primary and is now 76 years old, came in third, with 16%.

The only other Democrat garnering double digits in the poll was Massachusets Senator Elizabeth Warren, known on the right as “Fauxcahontas,” taking 10%. Warren has been plagued with mockery for allegedly faking Native American ancestry to advance her career at Harvard. Oh, and she happens to have even less charisma than Hillary. Biden Leads 2020 Dem Field in New Poll

By The Hill. . .Biden is the clear leader in Harvard CAPS/Harris’s June poll with support from 32 percent of Democrats polled. Hillary Clinton, the party’s 2016 nominee, finished second with 18 percent of the vote, while her 2016 primary opponent, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), sits in third with 16 percent.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) was the only other candidate to poll in double digits, with 10 percent of those surveyed backing her.

Biden has spoken frankly about both his interest in running for president and his hesitancy to jump in the race.

He flirted with a bid in 2016 but ultimately decided not to run while he mourned the death of his son, Beau. This week, he joked to The Washington Post that he isn’t “looking to live in the White House,” but added, “I don’t know what I’m going to do.” . . .

The Harvard/Harris poll also tests the 2020 chances of Sens. Cory Booker (D-N.J.), Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) and Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), as well as billionaire Michael Bloomberg and New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D). (Read more from “Biden Leads 2020 Dem Field in New Poll” HERE)
