Gen Z, Millennials Become More Pro-Life After Learning About Abortion Law: POLL

Millennials and members of Generation Z opposed abortion restrictions more strongly after learning what the landmark abortion case Roe v. Wade permitted, according to a poll released by Students For Life (SFL) Thursday.

The poll, conducted by SFL, a leading pro-life organization that works primarily with students in high school and in college, and YouGov-Vinea found that, initially, 52% of Gen Z and Millennials supported codifying abortion restrictions allowed under Roe. However, after being informed of the restrictions permitted by Roe, the number of those supporting codifying it dropped down to 37%, and those in opposition to codifying Roe increased by 25 points from 22% to 47%.

Voters were initially asked whether or not they were in favor of codifying Roe v. Wade, which was overturned in June 2022, without any further information or questions, according to the poll. Afterward, the respondents were asked several follow-up questions regarding abortion up to nine months, taxpayer-funded abortions and health and safety standards for abortion facilities.

Gen Z and Millennials voted strongly or somewhat against abortion by up to nine months by 46%, while 36% were strongly or somewhat in favor of abortion up to the moment of birth, according to the poll. The poll found a decline in support for taxpayer-funded abortions from 56% to 43% since 2022, while 38% of respondents were in favor of implementing certain health and safety standards such as screening for ectopic pregnancies, ultrasounds, blood tests and in-person care requirements to prevent sexual abuse.

“The poll shows that young voters don’t buy the extremist agenda that the Biden Administration is selling,” Kristi Hamrick, vice president of Media and Policy for SFL, told the Daily Caller News Foundation (DCNF). State Poised to Legalize Infanticide, Nuke Protections for Women and Babies in Radical Abortion Bill (VIDEO)

Minnesota Democrats are poised to ignore the at least 69 percent of Americans who say they want significant limits on abortion to pass the state’s most radical abortion bill, which would legalize taxpayer-funded on-demand abortion for all.

The Protect Reproductive Options Act (PROA), the first bill Democrats introduced in both the state House and Senate this session, would repeal dozens of the state’s protections for women and babies and expand legal immunity for abortions up until the moment of birth and beyond.

The bill is eagerly supported by Planned Parenthood and its allies in the press and the Biden administration, but legal experts say it goes “far beyond any interpretation of the Minnesota Supreme Court case Doe v. Gomez,” the state’s version of Roe v. Wade.

“Cattle and reptiles will have more legal protections in Minnesota than Minnesota’s vulnerable preborn children. Legal penalties for animal cruelty in Minnesota range from misdemeanor up to a felony while there is no criminal penalty for leaving a preborn child to die on a cold metal table,” Renee Carlson, general counsel at True North Legal, said in remarks to the Senate ahead of the vote.

That doesn’t matter to state legislators, who could vote on the bill in the Minnesota House as soon as Thursday. If passed by both chambers, the legislation will head to Democrat Gov. Over 5,000 Babies Saved From Abortion in August 2022, State Report Confirms

A new report reveals abortions in Texas plummeted in August 2022, showing 0 legal elective abortions committed and 3 medically necessary abortions legally performed to save the life of the mother. A year ago in the same month, there were 5,706 lives taken by elective abortion.

Texas law allows abortion when the life of a mother is jeopardized by her pregnancy:

“Medical emergency” means a life-threatening physical condition aggravated by, caused by, or arising from a pregnancy that, as certified by a physician, places the woman in danger of death or a serious risk of substantial impairment of a major bodily function unless an abortion is performed.

Advancements in medical technology have greatly reduced the situations where both mother and child are at risk, but in rare and heartbreaking circumstances, a woman’s pregnancy can endanger her life. The death of the child is an indirect result of a life-saving intervention for the mother. We mourn the loss of the three children who tragically could not be saved last year but are grateful the doctors rightly protected the mothers rather than losing both precious lives. Disturbing Report: At Least 34 Babies Born Alive in Botched Abortions Between 2020-2022

Abortion data from seven states in the U.S. show that at least 34 babies were born alive in botched abortions between 2020 and 2022, Life News reported on Thursday.

The pro-life outlet looked at data from Arizona, Florida, Minnesota, Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Michigan, though it noted that “most states do not keep track of the number of babies who survive abortions…”

In England, Praying Outside an Abortion Clinic Can Be a Jailable Offense

Just in time for Christmas, an English woman has been arrested for directing her thoughts to God in public. Isabel Vaughan-Spruce was interrogated, searched, and jailed for praying in silence on a public street in Birmingham, England. Her crime? She is alleged to have violated a local law establishing a so-called “buffer zone” banning prayer, even silent prayer, in the vicinity of an abortion facility.

“Buffer zones” would more appropriately be described as censorship zones. More befitting a totalitarian state, they are an extreme violation of fundamental freedoms.

Isabel’s arrest happened at the same time that a bill is being hotly debated in the Parliament of the United Kingdom that would roll out nationwide censorship zones. Where these zones are already in place, such as in Birmingham, the abuses have been egregious. Their existence indicates a rapidly escalating trend to criminalize the freedoms of expression and religion in the U.K. — essentially, the policing of inner thoughts.

On December 15, Isabel, the director of March for Life U.K., was charged with four counts of failing to comply with Birmingham’s Public Space Protection Order, which came into effect in September of this year. The order is based on the eerily titled Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act of 2014. It prohibits “protesting, namely engaging in any act of approval or disapproval or attempted act of approval or disapproval, with respect to issues related to abortion services, by any means” in a restricted zone encompassing several streets around an abortion facility. GOP Senator Threatens the Defense Dept. After Its Policy Will Allow Military Members To Receive Abortions

Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala) is vowing to hold Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin accountable for planning to fund thousands of abortions, in which taxpayers in part pay for.

The GOP Senator is threatening to place Sente holds on the Defense Department’s civilian and senior military nominations until the DOD terminates its abortion policy which would allow thousands of abortions to be performed for service members and their families.

“It is my conviction that this proposed policy change is illegal, circumvents Congress, and exceeds your authority,” Tuberville wrote, adding “should you implement these proposed changes to the department’s abortion policies, I will place a hold on all future DoD civilian and general/flag officer nominations.”

The woke policy aims at ensuring service members are able to still get abortions even when they are stationed in a state that restricts the procedure, to which Tuberville calls “irresponsible.”

The DOD plans to implement their policy by the end of the year. Tuberville has already placed nine of President Joe Biden’s nominations on hold and vows to it to stay that way until the DOD’s stance on abortion is reversed.

Jane’s Revenge Allegedly Threatens to Kill Pro-Lifers at Omaha Churches

Threatening letters allegedly written by members of the radical pro-abortion group Jane’s Revenge were sent to two churches in Omaha, Nebraska, on Saturday, Fox News Digital reported.

On Saturday afternoon, the first note was discovered taped to the St. John Paul II Newman Center near the University of Nebraska-Omaha’s Scott Campus. The Catholic-affiliated center serves as a housing facility and community space for UNO students.

“If our right to abortion in Bellevue is taken away due to the attempt to pass an abortion ban and it gets passed we will shoot up your Newman Center with our new AR-14 rifles. Sincerely, Jane’s Revenge,” the note to the Catholic center allegedly read.

The letter, which was addressed to the Newman Center director, Rev. Dan Andrews, was discovered by Students for Life members. The group’s president, Kristan Hawkins, posted a photograph of the threatening note on social media.

Hawkins wrote that the group of pro-life activists was meeting at the center over the weekend to “strategize about how to use @studentsforlife’s Campaign for Abortion Free Cities to shut down the late-term abortion facility in the state.”

Lawsuit Could Force the FDA to Rescind Approval of Abortion Pills That Endanger Mom and Baby Alike

Thanks to the Supreme Court’s Dobbs v. Jackson ruling overturning Roe v. Wade, pro-life protections in states around the country have led dozens of abortion facilities to close their doors. But the pro-abortion industry is working overtime to fill the gap with another version of the deadly atrocity: the abortion pill.

Even though the abortion pill delivers a painful death to unborn babies and also poses significant risks to mothers, it’s still approved by U.S. health officials. But that needs to change, argues a new lawsuit.

Four pro-life medical organizations and four doctors filed a lawsuit in a Texas federal court last week against the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Department of Health and Human Services to reverse the approval of the abortion pill called mifepristone, which currently allows mothers to kill their unborn child up through the 10th week of pregnancy. They are represented by Alliance Defending Freedom, which also played a key role in the Dobbs case.

“[T]he FDA failed America’s women and girls when it chose politics over science and approved chemical abortion drugs for use in the United States,” the complaint states. “And it has continued to fail them by repeatedly removing even the most basic precautionary requirements associated with their use.”

A Whopping 70% Of FBI’s Abortion-Related Probes Involve Threats to Pro-Life Outfits

. . .Seventy percent of the FBI’s abortion-related cases since the leak of the Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs v. Jackson involve attacks and threats against pro-life facilities, FBI Director Christopher A. Wray said.

Mr. Wray told the Senate Homeland Security Committee that the FBI has treated violence against pro-life and pro-choice organizations equally while disclosing that anti-abortion groups have been the primary targets of post-Dobbs violence.

“We have quite a number of investigations as we speak into attacks or threats against pregnancy resource centers, faith-based organizations, and other pro-life organizations,” he said, TWT’s Valerie Richardson reported. Liberal Paper Gives Thanks for Abortions This Thanksgiving

A liberal magazine says that they are thankful to have abortions be a part of the American culture.

The Nation issued an article titled “We’re Thankful for Our Abortions,” on Thanksgiving day giving thanks for the woke procedures while sharing stories from women who have had one done.

Writer Nikiya Natale interviewed several women who all claimed that getting an abortion gave them a better way of life.

“From then on I realized I needed to celebrate my life, my abortions, and how thankful I was for each abortion I had,” one woman said, adding “why can’t there be an abortion narrative where people are happy, had a choice, and created the life that they wanted?”
