Voters Say ‘Absolutely Necessary’ for Candidate to Hold Same Views on Guns, Abortion for Support

Most likely voters say it is “absolutely” necessary for a candidate to share their views on a variety of issues — including guns and abortion — in order to have their support, an Echelon Insights survey released this week found.

The survey asked respondents, “When you are deciding how to vote, how important is it that a candidate share your views on each of the following issues?”

The survey listed twelve specific topics, including education policy, climate change, abortion, immigration, and guns.

Most voters said it is “absolutely” necessary that a candidate shares their views on topics such as guns (62 percent) and abortion (54 percent). Sixty percent said it is “absolutely” necessary that a candidate shares a voter’s view on healthcare, and 56 percent said the same of taxes. Another 56 percent said the same of national security and the military, 54 percent said the same of government spending, and 51 percent said the same of immigration policy. Rebellious Department of Defense Gives Middle Finger Again to Reversal of Roe v. Wade

The Pentagon has quietly lifted a longstanding ban that prevented troops and civilians from searching for abortion-related terms on the department’s computer networks, a move that follows the Supreme Court’s landmark decision to overturn Roe v. Wade last month.

The department had banned abortion-related content, as well as other topics, under a policy dating to 2010, “to maximize available bandwidth for mission purposes,” Pentagon spokesman Navy Lt. Cmdr. Tim Gorman said in an email Tuesday to Military Times.

Such a sea change to what the department’s more than 3 million users can access on their computers came after POLITICO reported on May 3 that the court was slated to overturn Roe, but before the opinion was released on June 24.

“We determined in early June that we should absolutely allow content categorized as abortion (to be accessible on DOD networks) based on the healthcare aspects related to the category,” Gorman said. He added that the department continually evaluates content categories that are blocked on department networks.

Military Times began asking about the policy last month after a military officer said he had tried to access the non-profit Planned Parenthood and NARAL Pro-Choice America sites on his government computer to get information for his troops and received a blocked notification. ‘Act of Love,’ ‘Best Decision I Ever Made’: Democrat Witnesses Gush Over Abortion (VIDEO)

Democratic witnesses during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing this week gushed over abortion as an “act of love” and “self-care.”

The hearing was aimed at discussing abortion and the legal consequence of the Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which overturned landmark case Roe v. Wade, effectively kicking back abortion restrictions to the state.

“Abortion is healthcare,” said Sarah Lopez, an abortion storyteller for pro-abortion group We Testify. “My abortion was the best decision I ever made, and an act of self-love.”

The Blaze’s Allie Beth Stuckey, a pro-life advocate, was one of the politicos who reacted to the testimony.

“‘My abortion was an act of self-love.’ She’s correct,” Stuckey said. “She loved herself, her convenience, and her comfort so much that she was willing to kill her child for them. That’s why the Bible says godless people in the end days will be ‘lovers of self.’”

Disturbing Report: Babies Left to Die After Botched Abortions

Several infants were left to die after being born alive during botched abortions in Minnesota in 2021, according to a state health report.

Abortion procedures resulted in the birth of live infants in five separate incidents, and life-saving measures were not reported to have been used in any of the incidents, the Minnesota Health Department report found.

Two infants were pre-viable and were left to die with no attempts made to save their lives, according to the report. One infant with an unspecified fetal abnormality was also left to die without medical care.

In two instances, infants were born alive after abortions and given “comfort care measures” before dying; the report makes no note of whether life-saving measures were attempted in these cases. (Read more from “Disturbing Report: Babies Left to Die After Botched Abortions” HERE)

Ohio AG: A 10-Year-Old Rape Victim Can Still Get an Abortion in Ohio (VIDEO)

On Monday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Jesse Watters Primetime,” Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost (R) stated that Ohio’s abortion law “has a medical emergency exception, broader than just the life of the mother.” And that even if the story about a 10-year-old rape victim in Ohio having to travel to Indiana to obtain an abortion is true, “she did not have to leave Ohio to find treatment.” Yost also said that if the story is true, the original doctor in Ohio who treated the victim committed a crime by failing to report the story despite being a mandated reporter.

In addition to stating that he hasn’t heard anything from local law enforcement about anyone investigating a crime like this and stating the state crime lab has “no case request for analysis that looks anything like this.” Yost addressed what would happen if the story turns out to be true.

‘We Love Killing Babies’: What I Saw at Women’s March Protest (VIDEO)

. . .On Saturday, feminist organization Women’s March marched their way from a park to the fence in front of the White House, buffeted by rain all the while.

The protesters began by gathering at Franklin Square 10 minutes away from the White House. They listened to a series of speeches by protest leaders before eventually leaving the park.

. . .The protesters made their way through the streets of Washington D.C., chanting and yelling all the while. A pro-life Christian group followed them on the sides of the road. As the pro-abortion group turned to head towards the White House, one of the protesters blocked a pro-life sign and screamed “We love killing babies!”

Biden’s Story of Pregnant 10 Year Old Rape Victim, Used to Justify His Abortion Order, Likely Fabricated

President Biden is facing increasing skepticism after he repeated the horrifying story of a 10-year-old rape victim to push his executive order on abortion — without seeking any evidence that the tale is true. . .

A single source, Indianapolis OB-GYN Dr. Caitlin Bernard, claims an Ohio “child abuse doctor” contacted her after determining that the young victim was six weeks and three days pregnant — three days too late to obtain an abortion under the restrictive Ohio abortion law triggered by the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision.

But Bernard is a prominent abortion advocate, reported Megan Fox at the right-leaning PJ Media — and provided no details about the location of the crime or whether it was being investigated by authorities.

By law, both physicians are mandated reporters who must disclose evidence of child abuse to police. In the days since, no arrests in such a case have been reported.

The fact-checking website Snopes.com said on Tuesday Bernard had refused to provide further information. On Saturday, the Washington Post added that child services agencies in Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton, Toledo, and other Ohio cities were unaware of any 10-year-old rape victims in their jurisdictions. These Woke Companies Paying for Abortion Tourism Also Play a Role in China’s Human Rights Abuse

Here are the CCP shills, from A-Z, providing travel reimbursements for out-of-state employee abortions in the name of “fundamental human rights” while they’ve been implicitly endorsing the Uyghur genocide in China:

. . .In response to the Texas Heartbeat Bill banning abortions as early as six weeks into pregnancy, Airbnb announced in September 2021 that it would also provide financial support to any Airbnb host who is implicated under the pro-life Texas law, thus facing legal action as a result. The company’s U.S. health plans now cover abortion-related travel and temporary housing expenses, according to Law360, and its employee leave policy is updated to cover up to 20 days of paid bereavement for pregnancy loss, even if it was elective. . .

Amazon, the second-largest U.S. private employer, told its staff in May that it will pay up to $4,000 in travel expenditures each year for non-life-threatening medical treatments including abortions, according to an internal message seen by Reuters. The benefit—open to U.S. employees or covered dependents, whether they’re working in a corporate office or a warehouse—is retroactive to Jan. 1, 2022, and extends to any procedure that’s not available within 100 miles of an employee’s residence and when virtual care is not an option. . .

The popular American multinational technology company has been accused as recently as spring 2022 of using Chinese suppliers with links to forced Uyghur labor. An early March report by business ethics watchdog Tech Transparency Project, which investigates Big Tech’s supply chains, alleges that Amazon used suppliers—as many as five entities on the Bezos-founded giant’s June 2021 supplier list—with well-documented ties to coercive labor programs, known euphemistically as “labor transfers,” which forcibly move laborers from the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region to factories in other parts of China, ergo fragmenting Uyghur society. . .

Reassuring employee benefits in response to the Texas six-week abortion bill, ultra-liberal Apple—which is expanding its presence in Austin with a new $1 billion, 3-million-square-foot campus there—stated rather matter-of-factly last September in an internal memo confirmed to TechCrunch that its health insurance policies will foot the bill for its staff’s abortion services if they’re not accessible at home and will cover the resulting travel fees. ‘I Don’t Know’ Ranks Higher Than Abortion In Poll Asking What’s Important To Voters In 2022

The recent overturning of landmark abortion case Roe v. Wade may have inspired dozens of protests, angry op-eds, and heated cable news debates — but a new poll released Tuesday suggests that one of the Democrats’ pet issues won’t even move the needle for voters come November.

According to the most recent Monmouth University poll, only 5% of those interviewed said that abortion was an important issue to them ahead of the midterm elections. Economic issues drove most of the responses from the 978 adults polled between June 23 and June 27, and some 6% said they didn’t know which issue was most important.

RealClearPolitics Executive Editor and co-founder Tom Bevan shared some of the data, tweeting, “More from Monmouth: biggest concern facing families right now: inflation + gas + economy + bills/groceries = 63%. Next highest: ‘Don’t know’ @ 6%, ‘Other’ and Abortion tied @ 5%, All the rest <3%.”

Nearly half of those polled cited either inflation (33%) or gas prices (15%) as their primary concern — and another 15% cited the overall economy (9%) or regular household bills and grocery costs (6%) as primary issues. America’s Largest Nurses’ Union Calls on Congress to Legalize Abortion up Until Birth

National Nurses United, the largest nurses’ union in the United States, released a letter Tuesday endorsing legislation that would force all states to allow abortion at any point before birth.

The letter calls on senators to pass the Women’s Health Protection Act (WHPA), which would almost entirely prohibit states from regulating abortion. Critics of the bill have dubbed it the “Abortion on Demand Until Birth Act,” as it would make late-term abortions legal in every state.

Per recent polling, the vast majority of Americans would disagree with the WHPA’s policy implications. Seventy-two percent of Americans support banning abortion after 15 weeks, which would be illegal under the WHPA, and roughly half believe in banning abortion after six weeks. Only 10 percent of Americans support legalizing abortion up to birth.

Under the WHPA, in order for any regulation on abortion access to be legal, legislators would have to prove that the limitation both “significantly advances the safety of abortion services or the health of patients” and that “the safety of abortion services or the health of patients cannot be advanced by a less restrictive alternative measure.” (Read more from “America’s Largest Nurses’ Union Calls on Congress to Legalize Abortion up Until Birth” HERE)
