Dems ‘Fast-Track’ Shocking Abortion Bill Designed to Turn State Into ‘Abortion Capital of America’

Illinois’ new Democratic governor, and a complicit Democratic legislature, are reportedly “fast-tracking” a pair of identical measures in the Illinois House and Senate designed to greatly extend legal abortion within the state of Illinois, wipe out parental notice requirements, and deny any and all rights to any pre-born individuals in the state. . .

Per that outline, the bills would mimic similar measures in New York state and Virginia, which would legalize abortion up until the moment of birth (and, potentially, throughout the birthing process). Like New York’s law, it would alter the state’s code, completely decriminalizing any harm or murder of a wanted child — through domestic abuse or intentional act — along with other major changes to state policy.

“According to the legal group’s analysis, the bill would prohibit the state from interfering in any way with abortions. It would erase criminal penalties for performing abortions and allow non-doctors to do them. The legislation also would repeal the partial-birth abortion ban and abortion clinic regulations that protect women’s health,” pro-life news outlet LifeNews reports, based on a legislative analysis provided by in-state, pro-life public interest law firm, the Thomas More Society.

Additionally, the state is now “prohibited from intruding in a woman’s ‘reproductive health care decision-making’ and creates an avenue for a woman to bring a lawsuit should she feel this right was violated,” meaning that individual localities cannot roll back any part of this abortion legislation. It also appears that the bill will punish those doctors and other medical services professionals who will not perform and do not refer for abortion — potentially even those who have moral objections to the procedure.

LifeNews adds that “the Illinois legislation would treat abortion as a ‘fundamental right’ and strip away even minor protections for unborn babies and medical professionals who object to abortions.” (Read more from “Dems ‘Fast-Track’ Shocking Abortion Bill Designed to Turn State Into ‘Abortion Capital of America'” HERE)

Contract Extended for Humanized Mice, Made With Aborted Babies

The Department of Health and Human Services says it has granted a second 90-day extension to a contract it has with the University of California at San Francisco that requires UCSF to make “humanized mice.”

These creatures are made by implanting mice with human tissues taken from late-term aborted babies.

The HHS’s multi-million-dollar contract with UCSF that requires the construction of these “humanized mice” creates a demand–driven by federal tax dollars–for tissue taken from late-term aborted babies. According to an estimate it has published on its website, the National Institutes of Health (which is a division of HHS) will spend $95 million this fiscal year alone on research that–like UCSF’s “humanized mouse” contract–uses human fetal tissue. . .

HHS also is still in the process of conducting the “comprehensive review” it announced last September “of all research involving fetal tissue.”

That review was initiated to ensure that all federally funded research using human fetal tissue is consistent “with statutes and regulations governing such research, and to ensure the adequacy of procedures and oversight of this research in light of the serious regulatory, moral, and ethical considerations involved.” (Read more from “Contract Extended for Humanized Mice, Made With Aborted Babies” HERE)

Born at Just 24 Weeks, World’s ‘Tiniest Baby’ Boy Goes Home

As the debate escalates in the U.S. over late-term abortion, the world’s “tiniest baby” boy ever recorded to have survived, who was born at just 24 weeks and weighing under 10 ounces, has just gone home healthy.

The boy, whose name has not been released, was born by Caesarean-section weighing just 9.45 ounces, which is lighter than the previous all-time recorded low for a baby boy set a decade ago.

The child spent several months at the Keio University Hospital in Tokyo after being born three months early in August. While his mother said she at times doubted that he would survive, the boy was finally released to go home on Feb. 20 — and made history in the process. . .

World Health News tweeted out a photo of the tiny baby in celebration of his full release from the hospital. “A baby boy weighing just 268 grams (9.45 oz) at birth was sent home after months in a Tokyo hospital, the smallest surviving male baby in the world, Keio University hospital said,” World Health News tweeted. . .

The baby’s weight breaks the previous record for a boy: 9.67 ounces, recorded in Germany in 2009. (Read more from “Born at Just 24 Weeks, World’s ‘Tiniest Baby’ Boy Goes Home” HERE)

WATCH: Professor Shuts Down These Pro-Abortion Arguments

On Thursday, February 21, the University of North Carolina-Wilmington hosted a debate on abortion which featured “Christian abortion doctor” Willie Parker and UNCW criminology professor Mike Adams, PhD. . .

Adams asked the crowd to join him in a thought experiment regarding the ridiculousness of the notion of fetal “viability” as an argument for abortion:

Imagine that a woman is pregnant in New York City and she has a viable fetus. She is 22 weeks pregnant. If she gets on a plane and she flies to Bangladesh – guess what? That human fetus is no longer viable because viability in Bangladesh doesn’t occur until about 35 weeks. So let’s just assume she’s hanging out in Bangladesh, she doesn’t like it very much, so she decides that she’s going to come back to New York City. Are we actually going to suggest that she had a person there in her uterus in New York City, a non-person in Bangladesh, who, when returning the United States of America, became a person for the second time? It is absolutely absurd…

Adams provides an example of a time when something that was clearly immoral was legal in the United States in order to show that legality does not equal morality:

Let me remind you this evening, it is not about whether or not abortion is legal, it is about whether or not abortion is moral – and there is a profound difference between that which is legal and that which is moral. If you want to come up with an example – for example, Doctor Parker says you cannot murder a fetus, you can only murder a person. That’s a legalistic argument. But if you want to come up with an example in this country of something that was legal but immoral, think about the 1927 case of Buck versus Bell in which the state of Virginia was forcing women to be sterilized simply because they were mentally deficient. And in affirming that law in the state of Virginia, Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes said this, “Three generations of imbeciles are enough.” I want you to think about that for just a second – and that came back to bite us as that phrase was used against us in the Nuremberg trials a few years later. There is a distinction between the legal and the moral.

Abortionist: ‘Nobody Likes Black Babies’

“Nobody wants black babies.”

These disgusting words have been uttered to me repeatedly by a man that I meet on a sidewalk. A man of influence. His name is Jacob Kalo. My husband can corroborate, Scott also heard him say it.

Kalo took the Hippocratic oath more than three decades ago as he became an obstetrician focused on caring for pregnant women. Somewhere along the way, he switched gears, choosing pregnancy termination over pregnancy care.

Kalo’s intention is not to deliver living babies anymore. He provides gynecological services at three clinics in southeast Michigan: East Detroit, Sterling Heights and West Bloomfield.

I became acquainted with Kalo while standing on the public sidewalk in front of the West Bloomfield, MI, clinic that he owns. In order to show moms, dads, Kalo and the whole community that people care about them and what’s going on at 6765 Orchard Lake Road, I regularly do outreach in front of the Women’s Center. Shocking Photo Shows Little Girl Crushing Baby Doll at Pro-Abortion Rally

A disturbing photo has surfaced showing a little girl crushing a baby doll with her foot at an abortion rally in Argentina.

The photo was taken in Buenos Aires at one of the many Feb. 19 abortion rallies in the South American country. The rallies were organized by the National Campaign for the Right to Legal, Safe and Free Abortion. Women and girls at the rallies wore green kerchiefs as a unifying symbol of their support for the killing of preborn children.

It was the girl’s mother who was attending a rally who allegedly posted the photo of her daughter sporting a green kerchief and crushing the baby doll. The girl, who looks no more than 10 years old, can be seen standing defiantly with her arms crossed while stepping on a partially clothed baby doll that is lying face down on the ground. . .

Another commented: “I feel very sorry for this girl that the only thing she is doing is to grow up in an environment of violence and internalized hatred inculcated by her own mother.”

In August 2018, Argentina’s senate narrowly defeated a bill that would have legalized abortion within 14 weeks of conception. The decision unleashed violent protests in Buenos Aires and elsewhere in Argentina, mobilizing feminists and homosexual groups throughout the country. When pro-life Catholics and other Christians attended a pro-life Mass at the city’s cathedral, pro-abortion forces rioted outside. Abortion Survivor: I’m Living Proof Born-Alive Act Is Necessary

By Life Site News. Abortion survivor Melissa Ohden was not surprised that Democrats in the U.S. Senate blocked the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, saying the Dems are willing to sacrifice the lives of people such as her to protect abortion on-demand. . .

“I think the Democrats who voted last night against this bill really showed us that they’re willing to sacrifice lives like mine to keep abortion-on-demand right there,” Ohden stated.

The legislation said that “any health care practitioner present at the time the child is born alive shall exercise the same degree of professional skill, care, and diligence to preserve the life and health of the child as a reasonably diligent and conscientious health care practitioner would render to any other child born alive at the same gestational age.” . . .

Further highlighting the need for the bill was Virginia Governor Ralph Northam’s casual defense in comments last month of leaving a newborn child to die after the child survived a failed abortion should that be the decision established between parents and doctors.

The big abortion industry had lied constantly about the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, the bill’s author Nebraska Senator Ben Sasse (R-Neb.) told Fox News Monday, showing how desperate abortion activists are about preserving abortion. Senate Rejects “Born-Alive” Bill

By CBS News. The “Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act,” a piece of legislation that echoed existing laws and medical practices, had little chance of passing in the Senate on Monday evening. And as predicted, it ultimately failed. . .

In their comments leading up to Monday’s decision on the legislation, Democratic and Republican lawmakers painted starkly different pictures the bill. Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell called it a “straightforward” piece of legislation, while Sen. Tammy Duckworth, a Democrat from Illinois, called the bill a “political stunt.”

The legislation — which fell seven votes short of the 60 it needed to move forward — would have required doctors to provide care to infants who “survive an abortion or attempted abortion.” A similar bill passed in 2002, but the most recent one was different in a key way: It would have imposed fines and potential jail time for doctors who didn’t provide care. Pro-Life Advocate Abby Johnson Responds to Rating for Film

Abby Johnson, a former Planned Parenthood clinical director who is now a well-known pro-life activist, is reportedly “unconcerned” that the controversial new movie about her life, “Unplanned,” has received an R-rating from the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA.)

“We are pushing the boundaries of what has never been before on such a wide scale by showing America exactly what abortion is — and abortion is disturbing. It’s violent,” 38-year-old Johnson told Fox News in a written statement.

“In my opinion, one of the most impactful films of our time is ‘The Passion of the Christ.’ It was rated R. So I feel like ‘Unplanned’ is in good company. An R rating from the MPAA isn’t going to slow this movie down. I believe people are ready for the truth.”

Pure Flix is the company responsible for the production and distribution of the anti-abortion film, which is scheduled to be released on March 29. Though the filmmakers admit to having been initially surprised by the MPAA’s rating of the film, they also told Fox News that they’re not too concerned about it. . .

“I feel the fix is in,” [Investor Mike] Lindell told Fox News. “Whoever rated this movie must not be watching TV or videos on social media! I have a cameo in this movie and do not appreciate the R-rating. I got involved to get a message out to everyone with this true story. What a shame that some might be blocked by an R-rating from getting the truth. I hope millions of Americans will ignore this attempt at moviegoer suppression and flood the box office on opening day.” (Read more from “Pro-Life Advocate Abby Johnson Responds to Rating for Film” HERE)

Democrats Block Republicans From Saving Infants BORN ALIVE From Botched Abortions

By Daily Wire. On Monday evening, Senate Democrats blocked their Republican counterparts from protecting infants born alive after botched abortion procedures. The Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which is sponsored by Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE), failed to pass the Senate with a vote of 53-44, seven votes shy of the required 60. . .

“This bill amends the federal criminal code to require any health care practitioner who is present when a child is born alive following an abortion or attempted abortion to: (1) exercise the same degree of care as reasonably provided to any other child born alive at the same gestational age, and (2) ensure that such child is immediately admitted to a hospital,” reads the legislation.

“The term ‘born alive,'” the bill explains, “means the complete expulsion or extraction from his or her mother, at any stage of development, who after such expulsion or extraction breathes or has a beating heart, pulsation of the umbilical cord, or definite movement of voluntary muscles, regardless of whether the umbilical cord has been cut.” . . .

DeSanctis noted: “All six of the Democratic senators currently running for the 2020 presidential nomination voted against the bill: Cory Booker (N.J.), Sherrod Brown (Ohio), Kirsten Gillibrand (N.Y.), Kamala Harris (Calif.), Amy Klobuchar (Minn.), and Elizabeth Warren (Mass.), along with Independent Bernie Sanders of Vermont.”

Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski, representing Alaska, declined to vote on the bill. According to DeSanctis, Republican senators Tim Scott (SC) and Kevin Cramer (ND) did not vote on the bill due to flight delays, per their communications directors. Dems Block ‘Born Alive’ Bill to Provide Medical Care to Infants Who Survive Failed Abortions

By Fox News. Senate Democrats on Monday blocked a Republican bill that would have threatened prison time for doctors who don’t try saving the life of infants born alive during failed abortions, leading conservatives to wonder openly whether Democrats were embracing “infanticide” to appeal to left-wing voters.

All prominent Democratic 2020 presidential hopefuls in the Senate voted down the measure, including Bernie Sanders of Vermont, Kamala Harris of California, Cory Booker of New Jersey, Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota and Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts. The final vote was 53-44 to end Democratic delaying tactics — seven votes short of the 60 needed.

Three Democrats joined Republicans to support the bill — Joe Manchin of West Virginia, Bob Casey of Pennsylvania and Doug Jones or Alabama. Three Republicans did not vote, apparently because of scheduling issues and plane flight delays — including Kevin Cramer of North Dakota, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Tim Scott of South Carolina. . .

The bill, which exempted the mother involved in the birth from prosecution, also would have required practitioners to “ensure that the child born alive is immediately transported and admitted to a hospital.” It prescribed a possible term of imprisonment of up to five years for violations, not including penalties for first-degree murder that could have applied. 13 States Plus D.C. Where a Teenage Girl Can’t See an R-Rated Movie About Abortion — but Can Get One by Herself

There are actually places in the U.S. where teenagers not old enough to see an R-rated pro-life movie by themselves can get abortions without parental involvement.

Pro-lifers have been pushing back against the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) since it gave a surprise R rating to the upcoming film “Unplanned” last week. The movie’s story focuses on Abby Johnson, a former Planned Parenthood clinic director who became pro-life after being confronted with the truth while assisting with an ultrasound-guided abortion. The MPAA cited “some disturbing/bloody images” as the reason for the restrictive rating.

The R rating means that children under the age of 17 across America will not be able to see the movie in their local theater by themselves. But according to Planned Parenthood’s own website, there are 13 states (and one district) where a teenage girl could get an abortion by herself after being turned away at the box office:

Alaska

California

Connecticut

The District of Columbia

Hawaii

Maine

Nevada

New Jersey

New Mexico

New York (where a girl could now also get an abortion right up till birth)

Oregon

Vermont

Washington

Of course, abortion is a gruesome, violent act. In this video (warning: Disturbing content may be unsuitable for some audiences), a former abortionist describes (with diagrams and illustrations) a second-trimester surgical abortion. A movie that discusses the taking of an innocent child’s life in utero (especially through a graphic, ultrasound-guided procedure) isn’t exactly something you’d take younger kids to see.

But if a staged abortion is too violent and “disturbing” for a teenager to see by herself, then why in the world would our laws let her get the real thing without talking to their parents first? That’s the brave new world of “reproductive freedom” for you. (For more from the author of “13 States Plus D.C. Where a Teenage Girl Can’t See an R-Rated Movie About Abortion — but Can Get One by Herself” please click HERE)
