Mom of Marine Killed in Afghanistan Unloads on Biden

A parent of a Marine who was killed during the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan blasted President Joe Biden on social media after he did not mention the 13 service members who were killed by a suicide bomber during his State of the Union.

Shana Chappell, the mother of Marine Lance Corporal Kareem Nikoui, said in a lengthy statement, Biden did not mention the 13 troops because he knows their blood is on his hands and “You don’t even care!”:

“[Joe Biden] did you already forget that you put 13 kids in flagged draped coffins you piece of sh*t??? You disrespectful mother effer, SAY OUR KIDS NAMES!!!!! Do you remember this day in Dover??? I do!!! I had to watch my son be taken off a plane while my heart felt like it was being ripped from my chest and you stood there checking your watch over and over again like being there was taking up to much of your precious time! I will never get to hug my son again, i will never hear his beautiful laugh, he won’t get to have a family of his own, he is forever 20 and it’s your fault Biden and your military advisors faults!!! You don’t even care! All you care about is continuing to destroy our country from within! You are a weak, spineless, traitor, coward piece of sh*t!!! America hates you!!! I hate you!

“You are why my son is dead! You are why all 13 are dead! Their blood is on your hands and you know it, that’s why you refuse to say their names!!You are a lying, liar who lies and you are no friend of #jesus !! There’s a special place in Hell for you Biden! ‘Damning’: New Army Report Details More Biden Failures in Afghanistan (VIDEO)

It’s no secret that President Biden’s handling of the United States’ exit from Afghanistan after two decades of war was a disaster. Chaotic scenes unfolded in Kabul as Biden assured Americans that things were stable and a Taliban takeover was anything but inevitable. Now, a new report issued after an investigation by the United States Army provides more details about just how bad Biden botched the job.

Don’t just take our word for it, even NBC News’ Andrea Mitchell couldn’t conceal the reality of the Army’s “damning new report” that filled some 2,000 pages with information describing Biden’s haphazard withdrawal that “stunned Americans and the world,” first reported by The Washington Post.

As The Washington Post’s report explains, “Senior White House and State Department officials failed to grasp the Taliban’s steady advance on Afghanistan’s capital and resisted efforts by U.S. military leaders to prepare the evacuation of embassy personnel and Afghan allies weeks before Kabul’s fall, placing American troops ordered to carry out the withdrawal in greater danger.” The White House’s lackadaisical attitude was clear in press briefings from the White House’s Jen Psaki, Pentagon’s John Kirby, and State Department’s Ned Price. The danger created by their lack of seriousness, though, became abundantly clear when an ISIS-K suicide attacker detonated a bomb, killing 13 American service members and dozens of innocent Afghan citizens trying to flee their country.

The loss of life during Biden’s failure-ridden withdrawal could have been higher, according to the Army’s report that includes “previously unreported disclosures about the violence American personnel experienced, including one exchange of gunfire that left two Taliban fighters dead after they allegedly menaced a group of U.S. Marines and Afghan civilians” and another incident in which “U.S. troops killed a member of an elite Afghan strike unit that had joined the operation and wounded six others after they fired on the Americans.” (Read more from “‘Damning’: New Army Report Details More Biden Failures in Afghanistan” HERE)

Afghanistan Replaces North Korea as Worst Country for Christian Persecution After Biden’s Disastrous Withdrawal

Afghanistan sits at the top of a new ranking of the world’s worst countries for Christian persecution after President Joe Biden’s disastrous military withdrawal and the Taliban’s subsequent takeover of the nation.

Open Doors USA, an organization that tracks global religious persecution, has published its 2022 World Watch List ranking the 50 countries where it is most difficult to be a Christian.

In what Open Doors USA CEO David Curry called the “biggest seismic shift” in decades, Afghanistan replaced North Korea as the most repressive and hostile country towards followers of Jesus. The communist North Korean regime had ranked as the worst country for Christian persecution for 20 years.

“This year’s 2022 World Watch List, we think, is the biggest seismic shift in over 20 years because Afghanistan is now the No. 1 country on the World Watch List, supplanting North Korea,” Curry told Faithwire in an interview.

In a bid to finally end the American war in Afghanistan, Biden set a deadline to withdraw U.S. combat forces from the country by the end of August 2020. But his pullout from the country was a colossal failure of planning and execution. Just-Released Docs Deal Another Blow to Biden’s Legacy on Afghanistan

The Department of Defense (DOD) was warned that the Afghan Air Force would collapse without help from the U.S. months before President Joe Biden announced the country would withdraw from Afghanistan, according to a declassified watchdog report.

The watchdog report, declassified Tuesday and written by Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction John Sopko, was given to the DOD in January 2021, according to The Associated Press. It warned that the U.S. had not adequately trained support staff for the country and that the Afghan Air Force wouldn’t be able to keep up aircraft without U.S. help.

The report highlights the fact that the Biden administration was warned months ahead of time of the collapse of the Afghan Air Force. Biden was sharply criticized for his administration’s withdrawal process from the country, though the president has maintained that chaos was inevitable. His administration has also claimed that while they were prepared for the chaos, Afghanistan fell more quickly than anticipated following a rapid Taliban takeover.

Washington’s watchdog report echoes concerns made by Afghan officials regarding the U.S. withdrawal, the AP also noted.

“Most of the planes are back on the ground. They cannot fly and most of them are out of ammunition,” Ata Mohammed Noor, a warlord in northern Afghanistan, said in July. (Read more from “Just-Released Docs Deal Another Blow to Biden’s Legacy on Afghanistan” HERE)

U.S. Gets Sued Over Details About Biden’s Afghanistan Catastrophe

When Joe Biden abruptly pulled American soldiers out of Afghanistan, leaving behind both Americans and American war machinery to the terror-linked Taliban, there was immediate outrage. . .

Government watchdog Judicial Watch has filed two Freedom of Information Act cases against the Department of State “for records about the censorship of government reports about U.S. tax dollars spent on military support and equipment for Afghanistan.”

Also being sought are records about payments to Afghanistan’s government, or any member of the Taliban, during America’s departure.

First, the organization wants to know the details about what was removed from government websites about the costs of that equipment.

The case is seeking, “All records regarding the editing or removal from any public website of any report pertaining, in whole or in part, to any military equipment or training provided to the government of Afghanistan or any component thereof. This request includes, but is not limited to, any related directives or requests, as well as any related records of communication between any official or employee of the Department of State and any official or employee of any other branch, department, agency, or office of the Federal government.” (Read more from “U.S. Gets Sued Over Details About Biden’s Afghanistan Catastrophe” HERE)

Volunteers Scramble to Rescue Afghan Allies Abandoned by U.S. State Department

A video of the commandos’ execution was sent to members of Operation North Star, an all-volunteer organization working tirelessly to secure safe haven for thousands of Afghan allies abandoned by the State Department in post-withdrawal Afghanistan.

After watching the video hundreds of times in search of Rambo, volunteers “assumed the worst,” according to Ben Owen, a former U.S. Army infantryman and president of Flanders Fields, a nonprofit that raises funds for evacuation organizations Operation North Star and Task Force Argo.

Two weeks ago, Flanders Fields received a request to acquire a safe house in Afghanistan for an unidentified high-value target. An hour later, Owen received a pixelated photo of a familiar Afghan man being embraced by his family members on the safe house floor. Rambo had escaped Taliban captivity.

Maintaining Rambo’s safety presents constant monetary and logistical struggles for Flanders Fields and Operation North Star. Rambo “is essentially trapped in a meat grinder with his family,” according to a former U.S. Army recon platoon sergeant and Operation North Star volunteer we will call Duke. Rambo had inadequate time to apply for the documents the State Department requires to enter the United States prior to the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan. Applying for the passport the Taliban require to exit Afghanistan would also put Rambo’s life at risk. Former U.S. Soldier Sneaks Into Afghanistan on Heroic Rescue Mission, Saves Family and Christians From the Taliban

A former U.S. soldier embarked on a dangerous rescue mission to save his family members and Christians from the Taliban in Afghanistan, according to a Fox News report. The “proud American soldier” claims he was forced to sneak into the Taliban-controlled Afghanistan to rescue his relatives because the U.S. government didn’t offer him or his family any assistance.

A former U.S. Army staff sergeant knew that his family in Kabul were in serious jeopardy when the Taliban marched into power over the summer. After the last U.S. military was withdrawn from the country on the afternoon of Aug. 30, there was nobody to provide protection to his family in Kabul – especially since his family was connected to a U.S. soldier.

The former soldier – an Afghan native who remained anonymous to protect his family in Afghanistan – allegedly attempted to get assistance from the Biden administration. . .

“I had no choice but to come here myself after I learned that there was an ambush on my family’s house once more,” he claims. “I still haven’t heard anything from our government as far as any sort of assistance.” . . .

The former U.S. soldier alleges that he was able to rescue his family and get them out of the country, but did not reveal which country they escaped to. He also purportedly helped save 30 at-risk people – including a family of 10 Afghan Christians who were “in danger because of their religion.” (Read more from “Former U.S. Soldier Sneaks Into Afghanistan on Heroic Rescue Mission, Saves Family and Christians From the Taliban” HERE)

Report: At Least 10 Afghan Refugees Found to Be Security Risks

Republican lawmakers are questioning the vetting process used to bring Afghans to the U.S., saying standard screening steps were bypassed during the chaotic evacuation effort that took place following Kabul’s fall two months ago.

An internal memo, drafted by Republican aides to the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee who visited U.S. military bases used to process Afghans domestically and overseas, said that certain standard steps for refugees, such as in-person interviews and document verification, were skipped or delayed. The memo, which was reviewed by The Wall Street Journal, was prepared ahead of a closed-door briefing from Biden administration officials for committee members, including Sen. Rob Portman (R., Ohio), the top Republican on the panel. . .

Ten evacuees who made it to the U.S. have been detained because they are national security risks, an administration official told lawmakers in the Tuesday briefing, according to a person familiar with the matter. It wasn’t clear how they were determined to be security risks. . .

Afghans who were flagged in the databases for possible links to terrorism or crime have been referred to the Federal Bureau of Investigation or other federal officials for interviews and checks to determine whether they pose a national security threat to the U.S. Those that failed to pass that extra layer of screening have been transferred to a temporary facility at Camp Bondsteel in Kosovo for additional scrutiny. Pentagon Says Almost 450 Americans – Not 100 – Are Still in Afghanistan

Nearly 450 American citizens are estimated to remain in Afghanistan almost two months after U.S. troops withdrew from the country, according to the Pentagon.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken originally said the Biden administration believed there to be “under 200, and likely closer to 100, who remain in Afghanistan and want to leave,” on Aug. 30, the day before the last Anerican troops left Afghanistan.

“In terms of how many American citizens we estimate are currently in Afghanistan, the Department of State is in contact with 196 American citizens who are ready to depart – and arrangements are being made for them to do so, either via air or over ground,” Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Colin Kahl said at a Senate Committee on Armed Services hearing Tuesday.

“Another 243 American citizens have been contacted and are not ready to depart, either because they want to stay in Afghanistan or aren’t ready,” he added, bringing the total number of citizens remaining to 439. State Department Says 363 Americans Still Trapped in Afghanistan; Biden Admin Lied Claiming Only 100 Left Behind After Botched Withdrawal

At least 363 Americans are still trapped in Afghanistan — far above the administration’s initial estimate — weeks after the Biden administration’s botched withdrawal from the jihadist-controlled country, according to the State Department.

The State Department reportedly relayed the information to congressional staff Thursday, admitting it is in contact with 363 Americans stranded in Afghanistan. Of those, 176 reportedly want to come home.

This figure is far greater than the estimate offered by Secretary of State Antony Blinken last month, insisting that roughly 100 Americans were left in the country.

“We believe the number of those who have American citizenship, many of them dual-nationals, who remain in Afghanistan is somewhere around a hundred,” he told reporters in Qatar in September, claiming the department to be in “direct contact with virtually all of them.”

“We are working around the clock to help U.S. citizens, to help lawful permanent residents, to help at-risk Afghans to whom we have a special commitment depart Afghanistan if they so choose,” he said at the time, claiming that they had “successfully done that already.”
