On Sunday, former-President Bill Clinton appeared with author James Patterson on “CBS Sunday Morning” to promote their new book, “The President is Missing,” which will hit shelves on Monday. During the segment, correspondent Mo Rocca asked Clinton if he believed that the press treated Obama with more reverence than Trump, and if so, why?

ROCCA: You hear from Trump supporters who say, “You know, the press slobbered all over President Obama. He could do no wrong. And now this guy can do no right. What gives?” That there’s a kind of whiplash.

CLINTON: Well, they did treat him differently than other Democrats and Republicans because they –

CLINTON: It was the political press. You know, I don’t know. They liked him, and they liked having the first African American president – and he was a good president, I think.

Bill Clinton Says Impeachment Hearings Would Have Begun Already If a Democrat Were President

By Fox News. Former President Bill Clinton argued Sunday that impeachment hearings would already be in full swing if a Democrat were in the Oval Office and if the special counsel’s investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election were as deep as it is now.

“I think if the roles were reversed — now, this is me just talking, but it’s based on my experience — if it were a Democratic president, and these facts were present, most people I know in Washington believe impeachment hearings would have begun already,” Clinton told “CBS Sunday Morning.”

Clinton, who appeared alongside James Patterson to promote the political thriller “The President is Missing” that the two penned together, noted that these are “serious issues” that the country is facing.

So far, the special counsel’s investigation, which is headed up by former FBI director Robert Mueller, has charged 19 people – including three former campaign aides of President Trump – along with three companies, and has received five guilty pleas. Perhaps the most high-profile of those guilty pleas came from Trump’s former national security adviser Michael Flynn. Bombshell Report: Obama Tried to ‘Take Over’ Russia Probe, FBI Spied Before Having Predicate

Former president Barack Obama tried to “take over” the FBI investigation of the 2016 Trump campaign for political reasons. And the Obama FBI started illegally spying on Trump aides without having a legitimate reason to do so. . .

“The efforts to begin targeting and reaching out to Trump campaign officials to gain intelligence on Russia that would ultimately justify the investigation began weeks and months before the FBI had a formal predicate,” [investigative journalist John] Solomon said. “That’s very important. The rules say you can’t use sources until you have a predicated investigation.”

It’s illegal for the government to spy on private U.S. citizens for no reason. Solomon says the Obama FBI opened an investigation into the 2016 Trump campaign and started spying on Trump aides first, and then retroactively tried to find reasons to justify the bogus investigation.

That’s like randomly charging a person with a crime, and then retroactively looking for evidence to back up the fake charges. And then when you can’t find evidence of wrongdoing, you look for some other reason to charge him.

This Alleged Quote From Obama Shows Just How Narcissistic He Was

According to a new memoir from former Deputy National Security Advisor for Strategic Communications and consummate liar Ben Rhodes, after President Trump’s election in 2016, Barack Obama once again hoisted his narcissistic self to the heavens, thinking how visionary he was as he mused, “Sometimes I wonder whether I was 10 or 20 years too early.”

According to Rhodes, Obama’s comments were prompted by his aides telling him he would have defeated Trump if he had run for a third term and that the next generation would have preferred him to Trump.

As The New York Times reports, after Mr. Trump’s election, according to Rhodes, Obama vacillated from anger (calling Trump a “cartoon figure”) to taking the “long view.” Rhodes quoted Obama thinking of how Trump would undo what he had done, then alluding to “The Godfather,” saying, “I feel like Michael Corleone. I almost got out.”

Rhodes writes that aides wanted Obama to respond to criticism that he should be more vocal about Russia intruding on the U.S. election, but Obama demurred, allegedly saying, “I talk about it every time I’m asked. What else are we going to do? We’ve warned folks.” . . .

Byron York, reporting for the New York Post, cited a source who said Ted Sarandos, the streaming giant’s creative content chief who oversees an $8 billion budget, bundled, along with his wife, nearly $600,000 in contributions to Obama from their friends and associates during the 2012 presidential campaign.

Last week, the Obamas signed a creative production deal with Netflix that could be valued at more than $50 million, according to an entertainment industry source. . .

Exposed: Obama Advisor’s Emails in Immediate Sandy Hook Aftermath Reveal Anti-Gun Agenda

According to emails obtained via a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, first reported by The Baltimore Post, advisors to then-President Barack Obama immediately strategized how to exploit the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary school to push their gun control agenda. “Tap peoples [sic] emotions,” Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel advised then-Education Secretary Arne Duncan on December 16, 2012, just two days after the massacre that left 26 dead. The victims’ bodies were yet to be laid to rest.

The two discussed how they could exploit the tragedy to bring about their anti-gun agenda. “What are your thoughts?” Duncan asked Emanuel on an email with the subject line, “CT shooting.”

“Go for a vote this week asap before it fades,” replied Emanuel. “Tap peoples [sic] emotion. Make it simple assault weapons.” . . .

Emanuel served as the Obama White House Chief of Staff from 2008 to January of 2009. Fittingly, the ruthless politico famously said, “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste, and what I mean by that is, it’s an opportunity to do things that you think you could not do before.” The murder of 20 children included, apparently. . .

Duncan has been under fire following the Parkland, Florida school shooting that transpired earlier this year, as the shooter’s repeated bad behavior was reportedly swept under the rug due to a school program intended to close the gap in the racial disparity in public school disciplinary records, including criminal actions. Such a program was a model for the Obama Administration’s infamous “Dear Colleague” letter in 2014 directing schools to do the same. As reported by The Daily Wire in April, the seemingly well-intentioned program has resulted in alleged rape, violence, murder, extreme bullying, and cover-ups. Obama Education Secretary: Don’t Teach Children Until Gun Control Achieved

. . .Perhaps one of the most absurd was that of the Obama administration’s former assistant secretary of education, Peter Cunningham, who suggested in a tweet that “maybe it’s time for America’s 50 million school parents to simply pull their kids out of school until we have better gun laws.”

Rather than rein in such a ridiculous proposal, Cunningham’s former boss in the Obama administration — former Secretary of Education Arne Duncan — actually doubled down and endorsed the idea as both “brilliant” and “tragically necessary.”

“This is brilliant, and tragically necessary,” Duncan said. “What if no children went to school until gun laws changed to keep them safe? My family is all in if we can do this at scale. Parents, will you please join us?” . . .

In an interview with The Washington Post, Duncan attempted to explain his “radical idea,” which he admitted was intended to be provocative but was nevertheless an “aggressive approach” to reform gun laws that was worthy of consideration.

Judicial Watch: Obama Can Still Be Impeached

If Congress is considering impeachment charges related to the 2016 election, they should center not on President Trump but on former President Obama “and his Nixonian use of various agencies to target candidate Trump,” contends Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. . .

The Judicial Watch chief was referring to the operation codenamed “Crossfire Hurricane,” reported May 16 by the New York Times, which had at least one “government informant” in the Trump campaign who met several times with campaign volunteers Carter Page and George Papadopoulos. . .

He noted the Jan. 6, 2017, meeting at Trump Tower in which then-FBI director James Comey informed Trump of the “salacious and unverified” allegation in the Steele dossier of an incident with prostitutes at a Moscow hotel. Trump later said he thought Comey was trying to blackmail him. Obama’s national security adviser, Susan Rice, Fitton pointed out, later wrote a “CYA” email after a Jan. 5, 2017, to memorialized an Oval Office meeting she attended with Obama and Comey in which they discussed confronting Trump the next day with the dossier information. . .

Fitton pointed out that the White House won’t be subject to public-records disclosure for years, but Congress can obtain them, and the president has authority to release the records as well. . .

The history professor, Murphy, said that while a former president could be impeached, he views a “lengthy and contentious impeachment process” as a waste of time, because any impeachment proceeding would necessarily involve federal crimes that could be more easily prosecuted through the criminal justice system. Obama’s Presidential Center Sued for Corrupt Scheme

A public park advocacy group filed a federal lawsuit Monday accusing Obama Presidential Center organizers of pulling an “institutional bait and switch” by reneging on its original planned purpose of building an official presidential library in historic Jackson Park.

The Chicago City Council approved an ordinance in 2015 for the parkland to be leased to the Obama Foundation for the purpose of housing former President Barack Obama’s official presidential library, the Chicago Sun-Times reported on Tuesday.

But operations have since changed. Obama now plans to use the parkland to build a $500 million personal museum and monument dedicated to his person. The National Records and Archives Administration will operate his presidential library somewhere else.

The lawsuit, Protect Our Parks, Inc. filed against the city of Chicago and the Chicago Park District, argues public parkland is “prohibited by law” from being given to a private entity such as the Obama Foundation for private use. . .

The complaint accuses the City of Chicago of dealing with the Obama Foundation “in a classic Chicago political way, known as a short con shell game, a corrupt scheme to deceive and seemingly legitimize an illegal land grab, one that will endure for centuries to come, regardless of future changing public park needs and increasingly consequential environmental conditions.” (Read more from “Obama’s Presidential Center Sued for Corrupt Scheme” HERE)

Watch: Campus Reform Asks Students Who Don’t Think Trump Deserves Nobel Peace Prize Why Obama Won His in 2009

On Saturday, Campus Reform uploaded a video in which Digital Media Director Cabot Phillips spoke with students at UC Santa Cruz about the possibility of President Trump being nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.

Some of Trump’s supporters have said that President Obama won the Nobel Prize in 2009, and they think President Trump has done more, and so he deserves the award for the global peace that’s been brought about as a result of the seeming end of the conflict [in the Korean Peninsula]. Do you think there’s any validity to that claim?

“Hell no, that’s a joke,” one student replied. “What has he done for peace?” Another student said: “I think that’s crap.” . . .

After listening to similarly ridiculous responses from other students, Phillips finally spoke with someone who asked the right question: “I think if Obama won it, why wouldn’t he [Trump] win it, right? ‘Cause I don’t know why Obama won it. Conservatives Rejoice as Acosta Accidentally Confirms Trump’s Taking Obama Legacy Apart

Few conservatives will ever forget the day that former President Barack Obama arrogantly declared to America and a Republican-controlled Congress, “I’ve got a pen and I’ve got a phone.”

The implication behind this snide remark was that Obama would use his “pen and phone” to bypass congressional opposition and implement his rejected progressive agenda by way of executive actions and orders.

But what is done by one presidential pen can be undone by the next one, and that’s precisely what we’re seeing now, as President Donald Trump has systematically dismantled Obama’s “legacy” since taking office.

That brutal fact of life for liberals was accidentally confirmed on Tuesday by CNN’s vehemently outspoken Trump critic/White House correspondent Jim Acosta, much to the delight of conservatives everywhere. . .

The most recent addition to the list of “Obama policies dumped by Trump” is the terribly flawed Iran nuclear deal, which Trump thankfully put to rest on Tuesday to resounding cheers from everyone except Obama’s acolytes, globalist European leaders soaking Iran for every penny they could get and the Iranian mullahs themselves.
