White House Claimed 1 Million New Jobs in Second Quarter. Feds Say That Number’s off by 1 Million.

The Biden administration vastly overstated its estimate that employers created more than 1 million jobs in the second quarter of this year, claiming historic job growth when in fact hiring had stalled, according to a new estimate.

Job growth was “essentially flat” in the second quarter with only 10,500 new jobs added, the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia said.

Republicans are accusing the administration of lying about the employment data in an election year and are demanding answers.

The Philadelphia Fed’s new assessment shows that employment numbers in 29 states and the District of Columbia were significantly lower than the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported for the March-through-June period.

The BLS, a division of the Department of Labor, estimated net job growth of 1,047,000 jobs in the second quarter. The Philadelphia Fed now says its data shows that 10,500 net jobs were created in that period. (Read more from “White House Claimed 1 Million New Jobs in Second Quarter. Disgraced Nuclear Official’s Security Clearance Doesn’t Add Up, Professionals Say

Former officials in multiple presidential administrations are questioning how disgraced genderfluid Biden Energy Department official Sam Brinton received a high level security clearance.

An outspoken LGBTQ activist who goes by they/them pronouns, Brinton was appointed in February and was the first genderfluid person to hold a federal leadership role. Brinton was fired, however, after allegedly stealing luggage at airports in Minnesota and Las Vegas. The former official now faces a felony charge for the alleged theft in Minneapolis, while Vegas authorities have issued a grand larceny charge.

Inconsistencies in Brinton’s origin story were highlighted by news site LGBTQ Nation, pointing to a lack of transparency and differing accounts given by Brinton’s since Brinton first rose to prominence as an LGBTQ activist in 2010.

A former Justice Department Official in the Environment and Natural Resources Division told the Daily Caller it’s possible due diligence on Brinton was sidestepped over concerns about discrimination law and public accusations of discrimination against an LGBTQ person. Such an action would be irresponsible, the former official said, as Brinton’s position within the Energy Department requires comprehensive knowledge of America’s nuclear secrets and extra vetting known as a Q clearance, which can take months to obtain if the bureaucratic process is not expedited. Border City Asks Biden Admin To Use Military Bases to House Illegal Aliens Amid Massive Surge

Officials with the city of El Paso, Texas, are asking the Biden administration to use military bases to house illegal immigrants to relieve a strain on local resources as they prepare for the end of the public health expulsion order Title 42 on Dec. 21, El Paso Deputy City Manager Mario D’Agostino told the Daily Caller News Foundation Tuesday.

D’Agostino suggested that the military house the illegal immigrants on bases like Ft. Bliss as it previously did with Afghan refugees after the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeing nearly 2,500 illegal migrants crossing each day into El Paso and the surge is overwhelming the city’s ability to support those who crossed illegally, forcing many to sleep on the streets.

“What we have been saying to all of our federal partners is that this Title 42 going away, with the numbers we’re seeing today is a true emergency for the community. It’s a federal crisis that’s happening in the border of El Paso. With that, they’re gonna need to do some federal operation, maybe like what we saw with the Afghans,” D’Agostino told the DCNF.

The city accommodated CBP’s release of about 250 illegal migrants per day from custody in August.

Supreme Court Agrees To Take up Another Challenge To Controversial Biden Plan

The Supreme Court on Monday agreed to take up a second challenge to the Biden administration’s bid to forgive millions of student borrowers’ debt after it agreed earlier this month to hear arguments over a separate case early next year.

The decision to take up the case, U.S. Department of Education v. Brown, came after the Biden administration petitioned the case to the justices earlier this month following an appeals court’s decision to continue a block on the costly debt relief program. The lawsuit was initially brought by borrowers who argued the White House improperly put together the plan without a public comment period before it went into effect.

The conservative Job Creators Network Foundation, which sued on behalf of the plaintiffs, lauded the high court’s decision in a statement to the Washington Examiner.

“If this illegal program isn’t stopped, it will give the executive branch a blank check, not only for this president but every future president without any input from Congress or any public participation,” JCNF President Elaine Parker said. Biden’s ‘Non-Binary’ Nuclear Official Who Allegedly Stole Woman’s Suitcase Accused Once Again of Luggage Theft

Biden energy official Samuel Brinton has broke new ground this week by becoming the first openly so-called “gender fluid” government official to have been twice accused of stealing luggage.

Brinton, already scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 19 for having allegedly stolen a woman’s designer suitcase in Minneapolis, has now been accused of stealing luggage at a Nevada airport. . .

Samuel Brinton is a nuclear engineer who serves as deputy assistant secretary for spent fuel and waste disposition in the Office of Nuclear Energy at the Department of Energy.

Just days after a group of House Republicans demanded the Biden official’s resignation, a felony warrant was issued for Brinton.

KLAS reported that Brinton has been charged with grand larceny with a value between $1,200 and $5,000. The Biden official allegedly stole luggage at the Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas. GOP Lawmakers Demand President Biden’s Drag Queen Energy Official Resign After Arrest for Stealing Woman’s Luggage

A group of GOP lawmakers penned a letter this week demanding the Department of Energy’s Sam Brinton resign following the DOE official’s arrest for allegedly stealing a woman’s luggage, RadarOnline.com has learned. . .

In the letter, which was exclusively obtained by Daily Mail, Rep. Clyde and his fellow GOP lawmakers demanded Brinton resign after it was revealed the official – who is non-binary – was arrested over allegations they stole a woman’s luggage from a baggage claim carousel at Minneapolis–Saint Paul Airport in September.

“[W]e demand the resignation of Sam Brinton, and we implore you to set aside petty politics and appoint only the most qualified and dedicated individuals to influence America’s energy sector,” part of Tuesday’s letter read.

“As an appointed official, Sam Brinton represents both your Department and the United States,” the letter continued. “It is simply not possible for an individual to represent American values and simultaneously violate the felony laws of the land.”

“Brinton’s actions, along with your Department’s lack of transparency when dealing with this matter, reflect poorly on the Department of Energy, and they raise concern as to the Biden Administration’s priorities when appointing high-ranking officials,” the 16 GOP lawmakers, which included Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Arizona Rep. Andy Biggs, added. (Read more from “GOP Lawmakers Demand President Biden’s Drag Queen Energy Official Resign After Arrest for Stealing Woman’s Luggage” HERE)

Biden’s Domestic Terrorism Crusade Against White Supremacists Backfires on Minority Groups

Civil rights leaders are warning that President Biden’s domestic counterterrorism strategy aimed at rooting out White supremacy harms minority communities and those expressing political dissent.

The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, the nation’s largest civil rights organization, is calling on the White House to scale back its first-ever National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism. They say it has resulted in an overly broad definition of “terrorism” and gives federal authorities too much investigative leeway.

“This discretion, and an expansive view of what counts as ‘terrorism,’ has resulted in the targeting of communities of color and political dissent,” the group said in its recent report on confronting white supremacist violence.

Mr. Biden last year announced his sweeping strategy to deal with threats that, according to the administration, emerge from “racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists and networks whose racial, ethnic, or religious hatred leads them towards violence.”

The Department of Homeland Security deemed the threat of “racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists” a “national threat priority.” (Read more from “Biden’s Domestic Terrorism Crusade Against White Supremacists Backfires on Minority Groups” HERE)

Report: Biden Administration Launches Probe Into Elon Musk Company Neuralink

The Biden administration is reportedly investigating a company owned by Twitter CEO Elon Musk.

According to a lengthy article Monday night by Reuters news agency, the medical-device firm Neuralink is under investigation by the Agriculture Department for animal-welfare violations.

Citing “documents reviewed by Reuters and sources familiar with the investigation and company operations,” the British news agency reported that the accusations include rushing the animal-testing process and inflicting unnecessary death and suffering on test animals.

The USDA inspector general is looking into violations of the Animal Welfare Act, which covers experimental animals.

Neuralink is working on brain injuries, including paralysis preventing someone from walking, by trying to develop a brain implant. (Read more from “Report: Biden Administration Launches Probe Into Elon Musk Company Neuralink” HERE)

Montana AG: UPS, FedEx Working With Feds to Track Gun Purchases

Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen claims shipping companies UPS and FedEx are helping the Biden administration skirt laws that prohibit the federal government from creating a national gun owner registry, according to a letter sent to the companies Tuesday.

The letter, obtained by The Washington Free Beacon, claims new shipping guidelines allow UPS and FedEx “to track firearm sales with unprecedented specificity and bypass warrant requirements to share that information with federal agencies.”

Signed by Knudsen and 17 other state attorneys general, the letter says the new guidelines force licensed firearm dealers to provide detailed information about their customers who are receiving purchases through the mail. While the letter does not have undeniable proof the companies are feeding information to federal agencies, it references conversations between state officials and firearm dealers who claim they were forced to comply with such regulations.

State officials are requesting UPS and FedEx provide them with information about any recent regulation changes that might give “federal agencies a workaround to normal warrant requirements. (Read more from “Montana AG: UPS, FedEx Working With Feds to Track Gun Purchases” HERE)

Biden Energy Dept. Won’t Say if It Will Fire Cross-Dresser Charged With Felony for Allegedly Stealing Lady’s Luggage

The Department of Energy won’t say whether it plans to fire Biden administration official Sam Brinton, who was charged with felony theft last month after he allegedly stole a woman’s roller bag from the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

“Sam Brinton is on leave from DOE, and Dr. Kim Petry is performing the duties of Deputy Assistant Secretary of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition,” the department told The Federalist in a statement on Tuesday.

DOE’s statement confirms what an auto-response from Brinton’s federal email address, as reported by Alpha News, previously suggested. (Read more from “Biden Energy Dept. Won’t Say if It Will Fire Cross-Dresser Charged With Felony for Allegedly Stealing Lady’s Luggage” HERE)
