Pack of 10 Poodles Attacks California Beachgoer and Her Elderly Corgi Service Dog

A violent dogfight broke out at a California beach last month — as 10 vicious poodles attacked a 13-year-old corgi and her owner, according to a report.

Kathrin Burleson was walking her corgi Emma on Trinidad State Beach with a friend on Oct. 29 when the pack of standard poodles jumped out of a nearby car and began sprinting towards them, according to the Mad River Union newspaper. . .

The two were quickly plowed over by the crazed pack of poodles.

“Then they jumped us,” Burleson told the paper. “We were at the bottom of a pack of 10 snarling, biting dogs.” . . .

As she tried to fend off the pack of poodles, Burleson felt her finger being bitten. She was stunned when she realized it was the owner of the poodles, who was allegedly biting her finger, the paper said. California, Vermont Approve Limitless Abortion Measures

Limitless abortion measures were overwhelmingly approved Tuesday in California and Vermont, paving the way to enshrine so-called reproductive rights for women into both state constitutions next year.

In the aftermath of the U.S. Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade earlier this year, the decision to codify abortion went back to the states.

“The biggest battleground and the most significant war that’s taking place in this nation is the demonic murder of children in the womb, and California is leading the way,” Calvary Chapel Chino Hills Pastor Jack Hibbs told The Epoch Times.

So far, approximately 3.5 million California voters have favored Proposition 1, which changes the California Constitution to say that the state cannot deny or interfere with a person’s so-called reproductive freedom and that people have the fundamental right to choose to have an abortion and use contraceptives.

Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom, who signed 15 abortion-related bills this year with a $200 million state budget included, contributed $3.4 million from his re-election campaign on the measure. (Read more from “California, Vermont Approve Limitless Abortion Measures” HERE)

City To Decide On Lowering Voting Age For Certain Elections

A city in California is deciding whether or not to allow sixteen-year-olds to vote in local elections in a ballot measure on Election Day.

Culver City, California, residents are able to decide on a ballot measure on November 8, called Measure VY. The measure would potentially allow sixteen- and seventeen-year-olds to vote in city and school board elections. If voters greenlight the proposal, the measure would stay in effect until they decide to get rid of it.

If approved, the measure would not immediately go into effect, but it would instead allow for the City Council and the School Board to decide if certain conditions in the proposal are reached, including making sure that systems would be able to add the teenagers.

In Maryland, there are already six locations that allow sixteen- and seventeen-year-olds to vote in certain elections, and San Francisco attempted to make the change in 2020, according to the Los Angeles Times. During that election cycle, 49.2% of San Francisco voters were in favor of a similar proposal to the one facing Culver City, but it didn’t reach the cutoff needed. Police in this State Conduct Home Raids With Redacted Search Warrants: Report

Police in San Diego County, California, and FBI agents reportedly coordinated to conduct several early-morning raids on homes with redacted search warrants.

The redactions included the location and the people being searched by the warrants, according to a CBS affiliate in San Diego.

The raids were conducted Thursday morning, with several of the targets being individuals with warrants out for their arrest, but it is unknown how many of those individuals were found in the raids.

Greg Otis, one of the residents affected by the raids, told the local news station more than a dozen officers showed up to his home early in the morning and demanded that he walk out of his home with his hands up. When he asked for a search warrant, they did not present one but said they were looking for his nephew. Detransitioners Call School Board Meeting to Caution Against Transgender Ideology (VIDEO)

Three detransitioned young adults called in to a California school board meeting, using their personal experiences with “gender affirming care” to object to the district’s adoption of policies that support transgender ideology.

On Tuesday, Chloe Cole, Abel Garcia, and Cat Cattinson phoned into the Conejo Valley Unified School District’s (CVUSD) Board of Education meeting during their public comments session to voice their dissent about the ideology that caused to them to believe they were transgender and pursue medical transition. Although they were only allowed two minutes to speak due to time constraints, each was met with roaring applause from the audience in attendance.

“I’m calling because I’m concerned about the messaging directed at kids by the school surrounding gender identity ideology,” said Cat Cattinson, a 30-year-old molecular biologist and detransitioned woman who believed she was a boy after being introduced to gender ideology at 13 years old. “I began identifying as the opposite sex, a man, and [that belief] negatively affected me for the next fifteen years,” said Cattinson.

Conejo Valley Unified School District (CVUSD) in Southern California has drawn media attention in recent months for their adoption of policies that reinforce the belief that whether someone is a man, boy, woman, or girl has nothing to do with one’s biology, but instead is determined by one’s subjective and undefinable “gender identity.” Parents have taken to school board meetings to voice their frustrations, some of which have gone viral on social media.

“Puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgeries are irreversible,” said Cattinson. “By affirming a child’s cross-sex identification, they are encouraged to reject their biological sex, seeking drugs and surgeries that destroy the function of healthy body parts. I think that instead, we need to tell kids they don’t need to change themselves to be themselves.” (Read more from “Detransitioners Call School Board Meeting to Caution Against Transgender Ideology” HERE)

California Makes It Illegal for Doctors to Disagree With Politicians

Conformity of thought is now required whether it is online, on college campuses, or, if you are in California, in a physician-patient relationship.

PayPal recently introduced a $2,500 fine for anyone involved in “the sending, posting, or publication of any messages, content, or materials” that — in “PayPal’s sole discretion” — “promote misinformation.”

After a firestorm of criticism, PayPal withdrew the policy, claiming the whole thing was a misunderstanding and was not official policy— hardly a convincing explanation from a site with a history of banning those it considers politically incorrect. . .

Gov. Gavin Newsom recently signed California Assembly Bill 2098, making it the first state to attempt to censor what physicians can say about COVID-19 to their patients. This is a dangerous, and likely unconstitutional, effort that other states must resist.

The statute instructs that, “It shall constitute unprofessional conduct for a physician and surgeon to disseminate misinformation or disinformation related to COVID-19, including false or misleading information regarding the nature and risks of the virus, its prevention and treatment; and the development, safety, and effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines.” (Read more from “California Makes It Illegal for Doctors to Disagree With Politicians” HERE)

California Governor Awards Himself Custody of Children With Gender Dysphoria, Pro-Family Group Says

Gov. Gavin Newsom, a Democrat, has signed into law a bill making California a sanctuary for children seeking gender transition treatment across state lines.

State Sen. Scott Wiener, D-San Francisco, introduced the “trans refuge bill” (Senate Bill 107) last year, and it cleared the California State Legislature a month ago.

“California’s dangerous and extreme new law is the latest in an onslaught of attacks against parental rights and a demonstration of just how far some governments are willing to go to replace parents as the ultimate decision-makers of what’s best for children,” Alliance Defending Freedom senior counsel Emilie Kao said Friday in a prepared statement.

Once the law takes effect Jan. 1, California courts may take custody of kids who are seeking gender transition treatment out of state and enroll them in California’s foster care system. . .

“When state leaders think that they have a right to interfere in the business of another state, that’s a serious problem,” Family Research Council senior fellow Meg Kilgannon told The Daily Signal in a phone interview. “But now, they’re asserting a right to interfere in my family life. … They’re stating that they have a right to take custody of my child, who could potentially run away to California.” (Read more from “California Governor Awards Himself Custody of Children With Gender Dysphoria, Pro-Family Group Says” HERE)

Teen Charged With Murder Over Fentanyl Overdose Death

A California teenager has been charged with murder for allegedly dealing fentanyl drugs to another teen which led to an overdose fatality.

Eighteen-year-old Alfred Urrea issued a non-guilty plea and is being held on a $1 million bail with a pre-preliminary hearing set for Tuesday. Adrian Alloway, another 18 year old, passed away from a fentanyl overdose at the end of August.

This is the second time San Bernardino County authorities have brought murder charges due to a fentanyl poisoning.

“In cases such as this, where murder is alleged, we believe we can prove beyond a reasonable doubt the dealer knowingly understood the dangers of fentanyl, and still chose profits over human life when supplying drugs to the victim,” District Attorney Jason Anderson said.

Fentanyl is a growing problem, especially among young people across the country. (Read more from “Teen Charged With Murder Over Fentanyl Overdose Death” HERE)

State Legalizes Human Composting

California has legalized the use of human remains for composting.

On Sunday, Democratic Governor of California Gavin Newsom signed AB-351, which will permit residents to select to have their remains composted after they die, beginning in 2027.

Assemblymember Cristina Garcia, one of the bill’s architects and its author, implied she might go for the method herself.

“Trees are important carbon breaks for the environment,” Garcia said. “They are the best filters for air quality and if more people participate in organic reduction and tree-planting, we can help with California’s carbon footprint. I look forward to continuing my legacy to fight for clean air by using my reduced remains to plant a tree.”

The bill creates a regulation method for the state with regards to the process. (Read more from “State Legalizes Human Composting” HERE)

Teachers Union Spied on Parents Who Wanted Schools to Reopen During COVID: Emails

A California teachers union is being accused of spying on parents after emails reveal the union was conducting opposition research on parent groups fighting for schools to reopen during the height of the COVID pandemic.

The California Teachers Association (CTA) employed a researcher who emailed a parent arm of the local union in April 2021, hoping to dig up information on the motives of San Diego County parents who had successfully sued the state to reopen schools a month earlier.

According to emails obtained through a public records request, the union was seeking to uncover “some of the ideological leaning of groups that are funding the reopen lawsuits.”

The researcher, Ann Swinburn, appeared to at least speculate that the parent groups suing for California schools to reopen were funded by right-wing political groups and big money interests, according to archived tweets she shared.
