Surprise! Capitol Officer Complaining of Jan. 6 Riot Revealed as BLM Activist

Testimony from several Capitol police officers who appeared before House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s one-sided committee reviewing violence at the building on Jan. 6 actually prompted several lawmakers to tear up. . .

Some of the comments were from Capitol officer Harry Dunn, who talked about his recollection of being called a racial epithet when he engaged in conversations “with rioters,” telling them he had voted for Joe Biden.

Dunn revealed he got no warning of any threats from his chain of command that day, even though President Trump had offered additional security, an offer declined by congressional leaders. . .

But after his appearance, a reported in the Gateway Pundit explains the likely reason Dunn was asked to testify in the hearing that has been described by analysts as a Democrat attempt to perpetuate the controversy over Jan. 6 since they have so few accomplishments on which to base any 2022 campaigns.

The report states, “SURPRISE! Officer Dunn Who Testified that Trump Supporters on Jan. 6 Were Chanting the ‘N-Word’ Is HUGE BLM Activist — Supported Mass Violence in Kenosha Riots.”

Seven months later, Democrats have wasted no opportunity to exploit the January crisis at the U.S. Capitol, gaslighting the public at every turn to brand the riot as the “worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War,” in President Joe Biden’s words. Among the latest to perpetuate the Democrat talking point was Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney, who will offer opening remarks as one of two Republicans on the January 6 committee scheduled to commence this morning.

“Congress is obligated to conduct a full investigation of the most serious attack on our Capitol since 1814,” Cheney said when tapped for the committee by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Never mind the 1954 raid by Puerto Rican nationalists who shot five congressmen, the 1983 Senate bombing by left-wing militants granted clemency by Democrats, the al-Qaeda terrorists who flew a plane into the Pentagon on 9/11, or the summer of rage last year that frequently perpetuated political violence in the nation’s capital and repeated it across the country.

In fact, the carnage in the capital last summer excused, endorsed, and encouraged by Democrats and their allies in legacy media was far worse than the riot on January 6 by nearly every metric. More than 30 people died while dozens, if not hundreds, more livelihoods went with them when businesses were destroyed, and the dollar cost far exceeded, by 66 times, the already inflated estimate of the damage to the Capitol.

Rep. Adam Kinzinger Tears up at January 6th Commission Hearing

By Breitbart. Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) got emotional and teared up during his opening statement during the first hearing of the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the Capitol on Tuesday.

Kinzinger, one of two Republicans whom House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) hand-selected to serve on the commission, choked back tears as he commended the four United States Capitol Police officers who came to testify.

Debunked Claims Officer Sicknick Died From Capitol Riot Injuries Reemerge at Day One Hearing

By Washington Examiner. The evidence-free claim that Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick died from injuries suffered in the Jan. 6 riot reemerged Tuesday during the first day of hearings in the Democratic-led House select committee’s inquiry of the event.

Sicknick, 42, died the day after responding to the riot, which broke out as lawmakers counted electoral votes to affirm President Joe Biden’s victory over Donald Trump. In the days that followed, news outlets reported the 13-year veteran was beaten with a fire extinguisher, but the medical examiner concluded Sicknick suffered two strokes and that his death was from “natural” causes.

Still, committee Chairman Bennie Thompson, a Mississippi Democrat, said in his opening remarks that “seven people lost their lives” in the riot. The number would appear to include Sicknick, two officers who died by suicide in the following days, a protester shot by police, two protesters who suffered fatal heart attacks, and another who died of a suspected drug overdose.

Capitol Police Officer Harry Dunn also perpetuated the claim regarding Sicknick in his remarks. . .

The only person killed during the riot was Ashli Babbitt, a 35-year-old Air Force veteran and Trump supporter who was shot by an as-yet unidentified Capitol Police officer as she attempted to climb through a broken window near the Speaker’s Lobby. By The Washington Times. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced Wednesday she has blocked Republican Reps. Jim Jordan of Ohio and Jim Banks of Indiana from serving on the Jan. 6 select committee, citing concerns over the “impact their appointments may have on the integrity of the investigation.”

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy tapped Mr. Jordan and Mr. Banks, both conservative firebrands, for the panel this week, along with Reps. Rodney Davis of Illinois, Kelly Armstrong of North Dakota, and Troy Nehls of Texas.

“With respect for the integrity of the investigation, with an insistence on the truth and with concern about statements made and actions taken by these members, I must reject the recommendations of Representatives Banks and Jordan to the Select Committee,” Ms. Pelosi said in a statement. Rep. Jim Banks Unloads On Pelosi, Vows To Get Jan. 6 Answers Via GOP Panel

By New York Post. Rep. Jim Banks is vowing not to back down from investigating the security shortcomings that led to the attack on the Capitol on Jan. 6 despite Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) booting him on Wednesday. . .

Banks (R-Ind.), who was tapped by McCarthy to serve as the ranking member on the Jan. 6 select committee, said Pelosi’s decision proves that the Democrats’ intentions were politically motivated.

“It really made me angry. I served my country in Afghanistan and she is saying that I’m not up to playing a serious role on this Jan. 6 committee,” he told The Post Wednesday.

“But it just goes to show all along this was never a serious effort on their part, it’s all a political witch hunt. Judge Says Former Army Ranger Used His Training in Capitol Hill Protest

A federal judge on Tuesday said a former Army Ranger who stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6 used his training or experience to organize the other rioters, which made their actions “more effective, more forceful and more violent.”

CNN reported that Robert Morss, an alleged Capitol rioter who is facing nine charges in connection to the attack, was ordered to remain in jail before his trial after a federal judge ruled that he was too dangerous to be released. . .

Magistrate Judge Michael Harvey said Morss was “willing to use his training or experience to organize with the rioters on January 6 … thereby making their actions more effective, more forceful and more violent,” according to CNN.

He continued, contending that the rioters “appeared disorganized” until Morss, who was “in his element” because of his background as an Army Ranger, began giving instructions.

. . .The [CNN] interview began in a fairly expected manner, with [attorney Joseph] McBride maintaining his client’s innocence and proclaiming the death of law and order and all that jazz. Things quickly spiraled out of control, though, when McBride claimed the Capitol rioters who are still imprisoned in Washington D.C. are being tortured.

Avlon pushed back on that, naturally, which led to more aggressive claims from McBride along the same lines. After McBride insisted these claims were based on truth and compared the U.S. government to both the Gestapo and the Soviet Union’s propensity to throw dissenters into gulags, Avlon cut McBride off and thanked him for coming on the show. McBride exited while still yelling about the alleged torture the Capitol rioters were being subjected to in DC prison.

In First Felony Sentence, Capitol Protester Receives Prison Time

A Florida man who breached the Senate floor on Jan. 6 while carrying a Trump flag was the first Capitol rioter sentenced with a felony offense.

Prosecutors are seeking a minimum 18-month sentence for Paul Allard Hodgkins. In a July 14 court filing, they alleged that he, “like each rioter, contributed to the collective threat to democracy” as they forced lawmakers, reporters, staff and Vice President Mike Pence into hiding as they convened to certify President Joe Biden’s victory.

He was sentenced to eight months in prison.

Video footage described in the report shows Hodgkins, 38, sporting a Trump T-shirt and flag on the Senate floor. At one point he took a selfie with the self-described shaman, who is also awaiting trial for participating in the riot. . .

Though Hodgkins was never accused of assaulting anyone or damaging property, prosecutors noted that when he boarded a bus from Tampa, Florida, to D.C. he had rope, protective goggles and latex gloves, and said that demonstrated that he was prepared for violence. Lincoln Project Co-Founder: Capitol Riot ‘Profoundly More Dangerous’ Than 9/11 Attacks

Lincoln Project co-founder Steve Schmidt claimed on Wednesday that the Capitol riot is a more dangerous event for the future of the United States than the September 11 terrorist attacks were and is likely to cause more deaths.

“The 1/6 attack for the future of the country is a profoundly more dangerous event than the 9/11 attacks,” Schmidt said. “And in the end, the 1/6 attacks are likely to kill a lot more Americans than were killed in the 9/11 attacks, which will include the casualties of the wars that lasted 20 years following it.”

Schmidt’s comments came during the Lincoln Project’s virtual town hall to discuss the group’s mission to “defend democracy in 2022.” The Lincoln Project is an anti-Trump group of ex-Republicans founded by Schmidt, George Conway, John Weaver and Rick Wilson.

Ashli Babbitt’s Husband Demands Name of Capitol Police Officer Who Killed Her

Ashli Babbitt’s husband, Aaron Babbitt, is demanding that the identity of the Capitol Police officer who fatally shot her be released. The woman was killed while storming the U.S. Capitol with a legion of Trump supporters on Jan. 6. In her family’s latest attempt to uncover who shot her, Aaron appeared on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Monday (June 14).

“Somebody in D.C. knows. I think a lot of people know, but nobody is telling us and the silence is deafening,” he told Carlson. “I never expected to lose my wife to political violence.”

“There has never been a person Ashli ran across in her daily life that didn’t love her and wouldn’t remember her in some way, shape or form for the rest of her life,” he continued, adding that the public’s perception of his wife “sickens” him. “But this is the game. This is the social media craziness that people just run with a theory and just take off with it. You know, it is up to us and the ones that love her and people like you for not giving up on it.”

Oregon Legislator Is 1st-Ever Ousted After Capitol Breach

Republican lawmakers voted with majority Democrats in the Oregon House of Representatives to take the historic step of expelling a Republican member who let … protesters into the state Capitol on Dec. 21.

Legislators said on the House floor that this could be the most important vote they ever cast. They then proceeded Thursday night to expel an unapologetic Rep. Mike Nearman with a 59-1 vote, marking the first time a member has been expelled by the House in its 160-year history. The only vote against the resolution for expulsion was Nearman’s own.

A new bipartisan Senate report on the Capitol riot contends that seven individuals, including three police officers, “ultimately lost their lives” as a result of the siege on Jan. 6, as the investigation concluded the Capitol Police, intelligence agencies, and the National Guard all suffered breakdowns.

The report also contends that Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick was attacked with bear spray, despite prosecutors telling a federal judge that they believe he was instead only hit with pepper spray. . .

Capitol Police announced Sicknick, 42, died on Jan. 7, one day after rioters broke into the Capitol as lawmakers counted electoral votes to affirm President Joe Biden’s victory over former President Donald Trump.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, led by Francisco Diaz, told the Washington Examiner in April that Sicknick’s “cause of death” was “acute brainstem and cerebellar infarcts due to acute basilar artery thrombosis” (a stroke), and the “manner of death” was “natural.” The medical examiner said Sicknick was sprayed with a chemical substance at about 2:20 p.m. on Jan. 6, collapsed at the Capitol at about 10 p.m., and was transported by emergency services to a local hospital. He died at about 9:30 p.m. on Jan. 7. Diaz told the Washington Post that Sicknick died after suffering two strokes, did not suffer an allergic reaction to chemical irritants, and bore no evidence of either external or internal injuries, but he contended that “all that transpired played a role in his condition.“

Klobuchar on 1/6 Riot: ‘This Was Like the Super Bowl of Domestic Terrorism’

By Breitbart. Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports” described the January 6 riot on Capitol Hill “like the Super Bowl of domestic terrorism.”

Discussing a newly released U.S. Senate bipartisan report on January 6, Klobuchar said, “We have outlined what is common knowledge in our report about President Trump’s speech, about encouraging them to march down from the mall and the like. One reason I believe we need a 9/11 type commission and investigation is we felt our jurisdiction and goal was clear. We wanted to get immediate recommendations to help with funding, to help with getting bills passed, and make changes in the police department and the like. But the whole side of it about the rise of white supremacy and what needs to be done. I believe this report is not a substitute for that, but something we needed to do immediately.” . . .

Klobuchar added, “The National Guard would still be under the Department of Defense as they are across the country, but the idea would be to have more scenarios and ready trained contingency groups to come in and help. What our legislation would do would be to allow the new chief of police…to not have to go through the police board in making emergency calls and not getting answers, ridiculous situation. But the other part is training for Regional National Guard. There hadn’t been training and planning. Putin to Hammer Biden on the “Human Rights” of DC Protesters

By Steven Nelson. Russian President Vladimir Putin is prepared to press President Biden on the “human rights” of Capitol rioters when they meet this month in Switzerland, the country’s top diplomat says.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said alleged rioters are being “persecuted” and that Putin will turn the tables on Biden over US support for Russian dissidents, such as jailed opposition leader Alexei Navalny, who last year survived poisoning attempts.
