Shocking Coincidence Links Charlie Kirk Shooting to 1998 Nicolas Cage Movie as Clip Resurfaces

In a bizarre twist that feels more like a Hollywood thriller than real life, social media users have uncovered a chilling series of coincidences between the recent assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk and the plot of a 1998 Nicolas Cage movie, Snake Eyes.

Kirk, 31, was fatally shot in the neck while speaking at Utah Valley University on September 10. The suspect, 22-year-old Utah native Tyler Robinson, was arrested shortly after the attack and remains in custody as the investigation continues.

But as the political world reeled from the tragedy, the internet latched onto something else entirely — a resurfaced clip from Snake Eyes, a film directed by Brian De Palma and starring Nicolas Cage as a corrupt Atlantic City detective caught in the middle of a high-profile political assassination.

In Snake Eyes, Cage’s character, Rick Santoro, witnesses the murder of the U.S. Secretary of Defense — a man named Charles Kirkland — during a boxing match. In the film, Kirkland is shot in the neck by a sniper, triggering a tangled conspiracy.

The comparisons online came quickly: Charlie Kirk’s full name? Charles James Kirk. The site of the fictional assassination? A crowded arena. The injury? A gunshot wound to the neck — identical to the real-world event.

That wasn’t all.

The name of the boxer involved in the staged fight that covers the assassination in the film? Lincoln Tyler. The real-life suspect accused of murdering Kirk? Tyler Robinson.

“This is beyond creepy,” one user wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “Same name, same injury, even the same date?”

The web of coincidence stretches even further when considering the filming locations of Snake Eyes. Part of the movie was shot at the Trump Taj Mahal Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City. The film also features a character named Gilbert Powell, widely believed to be based on Donald Trump — Kirk’s long-time political ally and supporter.

Kirk’s connection to Trump was well-documented throughout his career. He was a regular guest at Mar-a-Lago and spoke at numerous Trump-backed events across the country.

“It feels like we’re living in a simulation,” another user wrote. “How can so many details line up like this?”

Charlie Kirk’s Memorial Compared to ‘Nazi Rally’

Charlie Kirk, the slain conservative political activist, had a memorial service on September 21 at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Streamer Destiny, or Steven Kenneth Bonnell II, who’s also a political commentator, compared it to a Nazi rally, drawing backlash.

“This Charlie Kirk ‘memorial’ is indistinguishable from a Nazi rally,” he said on X. Destiny doubled down on the comparison, sharing a photo of Hitler looking down on troops. The picture was in response to the White House posting a black-and-white photo of President Donald Trump looking on at the gathering in the stadium for Kirk’s memorial service.

Several X users were quick to slam Destiny for the comparison to Nazis, with many pointing out that Kirk’s wife, Erika, made a speech about ‘forgiving’ the suspected shooter – a message aligned to Christian principles rather than Nazism.

One user commented, “’Forgive them, Lord, they know not what they do.’ …which Nazi said that?”. Another on X said, “I totally remember that rally where Hitler publicly forgave the plotters who tried to assassinate him and then he called upon them to give their hearts to Jesus.”

Yet another person added, “Yeah, man. I remember that one time when Hitler gave that speech and called on everyone to respond to hate with love. They clapped when he said he loved his enemies and that Germany must be committed to embracing the teachings of Jesus Christ in their hearts.” (Read more from “Charlie Kirk’s Memorial Compared to ‘Nazi Rally’” HERE)

Charlie Kirk Producer Andrew Kolvet Claims Memorial Had ‘100 Million Overall Streams’

Andrew Kolvet, executive producer for The Charlie Kirk Show, said the memorial honoring the slain conservative activist saw “100 million overall streams.”

Kolvet announced the numbers via X on Sunday shortly after the memorial closed.

“Our production and streaming partners tracked over 100 million overall streams for today’s tribute to Charlie. This is JUST what they know about. It’s likely much larger. Over 100 million people just heard the Gospel proclaimed again and again by speaker after speaker. Truly remarkable,” he said.

Some users noted that were likely more viewers due to families watching it together.

“It is much larger. Our family visited and we watched it together. Every stream is probably 5-10 people,” said one social media user. (Read more from “Charlie Kirk Producer Andrew Kolvet Claims Memorial Had ‘100 Million Overall Streams’” HERE)

Tucker Carlson Sparks Outcry Over “Antisemitic” Comments at Charlie Kirk Memorial as New Video Casts Doubt on FBI Narrative

Tucker Carlson has come under fire following remarks made during a memorial service for conservative activist Charlie Kirk, whose recent assassination has stirred political tensions and rampant speculation.

Speaking to a packed crowd at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, Carlson appeared to compare Kirk’s death to the crucifixion of Jesus, suggesting both were targeted for speaking uncomfortable truths to power.

“So it’s about 2,000 years ago in Jerusalem, and Jesus shows up and he starts talking about the people in power… and they just go bonkers,” Carlson said. “They become obsessed with making him stop: ‘This guy’s got to stop talking. We’ve got to shut this guy up.’”

Carlson then added: “I can just sort of picture the scene in a lamp-lit room with a bunch of guys sitting around eating hummus, thinking about — ‘What do we do about this guy telling the truth about us? We must make him stop talking.’ And there’s always one guy with the bright idea, and I can just hear him say, ‘I’ve got an idea. Why don’t we just kill him?’”

Carlson’s remarks sparked immediate backlash from several Jewish groups and Israeli media outlets, who accused him of promoting antisemitic conspiracy theories. Critics pointed to his reference to hummus—despite it not being historically accurate to ancient Judea—as a possible allusion to modern Israel:

Carlson has not responded to the allegations, and he did not explicitly name any individual or group in his speech. While the FBI has maintained that the shooting appears politically motivated and was likely carried out by a lone actor, many remain unconvinced.

Online discourse has increasingly centered around the possibility of foreign involvement, with some voices suggesting Israeli interests could have had a motive—though no hard evidence has emerged to support these claims. Nonetheless, the topic has gained traction in certain corners of the media.

Adding to the uncertainty, a new video that began circulating today appears to contradict the FBI’s official timeline and trajectory of the shooting. The footage seems to show that Kirk was shot from a direction inconsistent with the agency’s claims. See below:

Erika Kirk’s Forgiveness of Husband’s Alleged Killer Sparks Widespread Admiration

Erika Kirk, the widow of Charlie Kirk, triggered a wave of positive responses from both sides of the political aisle when she forgave her husband’s alleged killer on Sunday.

Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old suspect charged in Charlie Kirk’s murder, was much like the other young men that her husband encountered, Erika Kirk said at the memorial service.

Charlie Kirk “wanted to save young men, just like the one who took his life,” she told the massive crowd at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

“Our Savior said, ‘Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.’ That young man… I forgive him,” Erika Kirk said, drawing a standing ovation. “I forgive him because it was what Christ did, and it’s what Charlie would do.”

Many public figures and commentators praised her words on social media and other media platforms. (Read more from “Erika Kirk’s Forgiveness of Husband’s Alleged Killer Sparks Widespread Admiration” HERE)

Jimmy Kimmel Set to Return to ABC After Being Yanked Off Air Over Charlie Kirk Comments

The Walt Disney Company announced Monday that “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” will return to air on Tuesday following a weeklong suspension over his monologue about Charlie Kirk’s murder.

In a statement, Disney said it halted production last Wednesday “to avoid further inflaming a tense situation at an emotional moment for our country.” The company added that “some of the comments were ill-timed and thus insensitive.”

Executives said they spent several days in discussions with Kimmel before concluding the late-night program could resume.

The suspension from ABC followed remarks by Kimmel in which he claimed MAGA activist Kirk was killed by other supporters of President Trump — despite authorities saying the alleged killer how a leftist social media history.

Former Disney CEO Michael Eisner blasted the decision, accusing the company of yielding to “out-of-control intimidation” from federal regulators. (Read more from “Jimmy Kimmel Set to Return to ABC After Being Yanked Off Air Over Charlie Kirk Comments” HERE)

Liberal CNN Analyst Shares ‘Shocking’ Text Charlie Kirk Sent to Him — a Day Before Assassination

Liberal CNN analyst Van Jones revealed Saturday that he received a message from conservative activist Charlie Kirk that “shocked” him one day before the influencer was assassinated at a college tour event in Utah.

“Hey Van, I mean it, I’d love to have you on my show to have a respectful conversation about crime and race,” Kirk wrote in his message, which Jones shared on his Instagram.

Jones, who said he and Kirk were “beefing hard” in the last week of the Turning Point USA founder’s life, was clearly moved by the message.

“I would be a gentleman as I know you would be as well,” the slain 31-year-old conservative activist had added. “We can disagree about the issues agreeably.”

“Charlie Kirk and I were not friends. At all,” the CNN analyst said, noting that the message “shocked me.” (Read more from “Liberal CNN Analyst Shares ‘Shocking’ Text Charlie Kirk Sent to Him — a Day Before Assassination” HERE)

Armed Man Detained at Charlie Kirk Memorial Site as Authorities Track Multiple Threats Against Trump, Vance

An armed man posing as law enforcement was apprehended Friday at the site of Charlie Kirk’s memorial service in Glendale, Arizona, triggering heightened security concerns ahead of Sunday’s high-profile event expected to draw over 100,000 attendees — including former President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance.

According to law enforcement sources and a memo obtained by ABC News, authorities are monitoring several threats “of unknown credibility” against key speakers and public figures scheduled to attend the memorial. These include Trump, Vance, members of the Kirk family, and a slate of senior government officials and political influencers.

The memorial, titled “Building a Legacy: Remembering Charlie Kirk,” is set to be held at State Farm Stadium, the same venue used by the Arizona Cardinals. In addition to Trump and Vance, the speaker lineup includes Erika Kirk, Marco Rubio, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Pete Hegseth, Tulsi Gabbard, Tucker Carlson, Donald Trump Jr., and others.

According to the Department of Homeland Security, the memorial has been designated a SEAR-1 event — the highest possible security rating typically reserved for Super Bowls and presidential inaugurations. This status enables full federal law enforcement support, including counterterrorism assets, to assist local agencies.

“This designation is reserved for events of the highest national significance,” a DHS official told CBS News. “The goal is to ensure a safe and successful event.”

The man arrested Friday was reportedly carrying both a gun and a knife, and falsely claimed to be a law enforcement officer. Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi confirmed to Fox News Digital that the individual presented “inactive law enforcement credentials” and is currently in custody.

“The individual is not a member of authorized law enforcement working the event,” Guglielmi said. “He is being investigated by local and federal officials.”

Officials have not released the man’s name or confirmed whether the arrest is directly tied to any of the threats outlined in the federal memo.

Security for Sunday’s memorial will include a vast network of uniformed and plainclothes officers, 300 surveillance cameras, drones, and sniper teams stationed throughout the stadium and surrounding area. A Glendale Police Department spokesperson said the short preparation window made planning unusually intense:

“For the Super Bowl, we had two years to prepare. For this, we had a week. We’re all hands on deck.”

The event is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. local time, with doors opening at 8:00 a.m. Attendees are being advised to dress in red, white, or blue and are subject to a strict no-bag policy — even clear bags are prohibited.

FBI Scandal: Docs Reveal Deep State Targeted Trump and Charlie Kirk

Under the Biden administration, the FBI launched a covert operation code-named “Arctic Frost” in 2022 — a sweeping probe that has now been exposed as a blatant weaponization of federal power against conservatives.

Thanks to whistleblower disclosures and new Senate releases from Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), we now have leaked documents revealing that this partisan witch hunt targeted a staggering 92 Republican-linked individuals and groups, including the late Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point USA, in a clear effort to silence Trump allies and dismantle the conservative movement.

Arctic Frost “was the vehicle by which partisan FBI agents and Department of Justice prosecutors could achieve their partisan ends and improperly investigate the entire Republican political apparatus,” Grassley said on September 16, 2025, during his opening remarks at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on the FBI.

Blaze News editor in chief and co-host of “Blaze News: The Mandate” Matthew Peterson is appalled by this latest development. “This is a broad investigation, in other words, of political opponents,” he says.

Marjorie Taylor Greene Releases Final Texts From Charlie Kirk Amid Israel Tensions

Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R‑Ga.) on Wednesday published a screenshot of text messages she says were sent to her by Charlie Kirk just weeks before his assassination.

The messages, dated August 27, show Kirk inviting Greene to speak at AmericaFest, the annual Turning Point USA conference set for December, and proposing a debate about the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).

Greene posted the screenshot amid a contentious debate about Kirk’s stance toward Israel and its leadership. Some conservatives, including Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, and Matt Gaetz, have defended Kirk’s position as being critical of certain Israeli leaders while maintaining support for Israel overall.

In her post, Greene urged her followers to trust Kirk’s friends over foreign leaders when it comes to interpreting his views. She wrote: “Believe Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson.”

Greene also warned: “Do not allow a foreign country, foreign agents, and another religion tell you about Charlie Kirk. And I hope a foreign country and foreign agents and another religion does not take over Christian Patriotic Turning Point USA.”

Charlie Kirk, 31, was fatally shot on September 10 at a debate event in Utah as part of his “American Comeback Tour.”
