Democrats Are Puppets of Left-Wing Extremist Groups

The radicalization of Democrats is tied to the influence of left-wing extremist organizations that are creating a toxic political environment. Instead of seeking comprise with President Trump on issues important to Americans, such as border security, Democrats are bowing to the demands of left-wing activists on anything at all connected to the president.

The effort by Democrats to seize President Trump’s past tax and business records is directly tied to the work of left-wing activists. In January, three left-wing activist groups pushed House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard Neal, D-Mass., to get President Trump’s tax records from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). According to The Hill, groups Tax March, Stand Up America, and Indivisible sent a letter urging Neal to take action and included language Neal could use to request the president’s tax returns.

Apparently, Neal was moving too slow for the activist groups, so they targeted Democrat members of the Ways and Means Committee in March to urge them to get the chairman to request President Trump’s tax returns from the IRS.

Finally, Neal yielded to the pressure, and on April 3, he requested the past six years of the president’s personal and business tax returns. Neal’s request leverages unique power granted to the Ways and Means Committee to request tax documents from individuals.

Democrats’ response to special counsel Robert Mueller’s report on Russia collusion during the 2016 presidential election correlates with demands from left-wing activists.

Stand Up America, a progressive activist group formed after the 2016 election, centers its efforts to fight President Trump “on exposing Trump’s criminal enterprise and standing up to his administration’s corruption.” Stand Up America is demanding that Congress investigate President Trump for “profiting from the presidency and hiding his financial entanglements with foreign governments, including Russia.”

The organization was ready to launch nationwide protests if President Trump fired Mueller but recently shifted gears to demand the release of the entire Mueller report. Joining with other activist groups, Stand Up America participated in a “National Day of Action” because Attorney General William Barr failed to release the full report to Congress.

The website TrumpIsNotAboveTheLaw.org was used to organize the protest, and its plan for congressional action includes hearings to investigate “the Russia scandals and Trump’s abuse of power and obstruction of justice.”

House Democrats’ actions correlate with the activists demands. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., is demanding an unredacted version of the Mueller report and is willing to go to court to get it. Nadler is also using the power of his committee to initiate an investigation of President Trump that focuses on three areas: obstruction of justice, public corruption, and abuse of power.

Nadler launched his investigation by requesting documents from 81 individuals and organizations.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., is ignoring Barr’s summary of Mueller’s report and promises to conduct a counterintelligence investigation involving Russia and the Trump 2016 campaign.

Schiff is also planning to investigate whether financial interests of President Trump are influencing his decisions — one of the issues highlighted by Stand Up America.

Going further, left-wing activists are targeting current and former administration officials. In a clear attempt to punish those willing to work for President Trump, the website “Trump Administration Separation” was set up by Restore Public Trust.

The website incorporates an open letter to American CEOs urging them “not to hire for employment, contract for consulting, or seat on their boards” individuals involved in “the Trump administration’s family separation policy.”

The website lists the names and news summaries of the roles in immigration policy of almost thirty individuals from the White House and various government agencies. The letter to CEOs closes with a threatening sentence, “We will be watching,” and was signed by about forty groups, including the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., is parroting the idea of punishing individuals associated with the Trump administration. On Twitter, Ocasio-Cortez commented on a New York Times commentary urging that former Homeland Security head Kirstjen Nielsen be denied employment because of her association with former administration officials.

Referring to Nielsen, Ocasio-Cortez said, “Awarding her a lucrative deal or prestigious post is to legitimize+celebrate that abuse.”

With such a high degree of hostility, Democrats are reluctant to make any compromise regarding border security out of fear of left-wing activist backlash. Today’s Democrats are not leaders but puppets that dance on the string pulled by extremist activists. Wow: Here’s Why Democratic Leaders Worked Behind the Scenes to Kill a Censure Vote Against Steve King

Given the multiple concurrent controversies surrounding members of Congress and alleged bigotry, a report from Politico on some behind-the-scenes maneuvering by Democratic leaders this week strikes me as telling. A few days ago, the House of Representatives voted almost unanimously to rebuke Iowa Republican Steve King for comments that appeared to defend white supremacy and white nationalism. King, who has drifted toward nativism while amassing a rap sheet of inflammatory rhetoric, claims that his quote was misunderstood, eventually voting in favor of the resolution that was targeting him. His protestations have evidently failed to convince many within his own party, whose leaders stripped him of committee assignments and strongly condemned him in public. Nevertheless, a number of Democratic members stated publicly that the chamber’s action against King was not robust enough, demanding that he be formally censured. That did not happen. Why not? It turns out that Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer, and James Clyburn worked intensely to avoid it. Their reasoning may surprise you:

House Democratic leaders have quietly rejected a push by rank-and-file members to force a rare and potentially divisive vote on censuring Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa), according to multiple Democratic sources. The House moved Wednesday to essentially shelve a grassroots attempt to further punish King for racist remarks that he made to the New York Times this month. If it had succeeded, King could have faced one of the most severe punishments that a lawmaker can receive…behind the scenes, Democratic leaders, led by House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn (D-S.C.), were clear about their opposition, according to multiple Democratic lawmakers and aides. “Leadership has been full-court press on not bringing it up,” one Democratic aide said..Clyburn and House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.), were warning rank-and-file members that going as far as censure could come back to harm Democrats…Privately, Clyburn also warned that it would divide the caucus, or even put vulnerable Democrats at risk.

Dems Aim to Bring Big-Government Programs to Floor Vote With 2019 House Takeover

Expect to hear the words “free,” “guaranteed” and “for all” a whole lot more in the new year as Democrats prepare an arsenal of big-government bills that could actually see a floor vote once they take control of the House.

Come January, proposals like “Medicare for all” and a host of other generous-but-costly welfare programs that were little more than talking points in recent years could have a shot at passing a chamber of Congress.

“There are dozens of measures like this that have been languishing with Republicans at the helm for years, and I expect to see many of them finally come to the floor under Democratic leadership,” Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman, D-N.J., told Fox News.

With the GOP’s expanded majority in the Senate, it’s unlikely these measures would make it to President Trump’s desk. But their consideration on the House side would mark a first step in formally considering major government expansions – concerning everything from education to health care – that Democrats increasingly favor. And with “Medicare for all” and similar proposals amounting to litmus tests for modern progressives, roll-call votes on any of these issues would reveal just how broad their support is. . .

Some of the Democratic Party’s agenda, likely to be spearheaded by Speaker-designate Nancy Pelosi, was spelled out in their “A Better Deal” campaign platform. The set of proposals claims nearly every item could be paid for by rolling back the Trump tax cuts. The most liberal bills have emerged from the Congressional Progressive Caucus. Watch: DNC CEO Is Asked How Democrats Will Pay for Health Care. She Has No Idea.

Seema Nanda, CEO of the Democratic National Committee, was asked on Tuesday how the Democrats intended to pay for a multi-trillion dollar government-run single-payer health care system. She had no idea.

Nanda made the remarks while being interviewed by Yahoo Finance at its “All Markets Summit: America’s Financial Future” in Washington, D.C.

“There has been some analysis of, third-party analysis of a Medicare for all program, what it would be like, how much it might cost is a big issue,” the interviewer said. “It would be very expensive, so, if this is going to be a winning issue for Democrats in 2020, how do you answer the question of how are you going to pay for this? Because there have been studies, credible studies that say it would cost $3 trillion dollars a year, you would have to double everybody’s taxes or maybe triple everybody’s taxes. How do you answer the cost question?”

“I don’t think we’re there yet,” Nanda immediately admitted.

Democrats Retake Control of House, Republicans Hold Senate Majority

By Fox News. Democrats reclaimed control of the House of Representatives Tuesday night after eight years out of power, Fox News projects, dealing a major setback to President Trump’s legislative agenda — but Republicans were able to expand their narrow Senate majority and, with it, the ability to confirm crucial judicial nominees.

The split decision on Capitol Hill follows one of the most intense and chaotic midterm campaign seasons in recent memory, in which President Trump barnstormed the country for GOP candidates and powerful Democrats including predecessor Barack Obama did the same for the other side. . .

In a boost for Trump, the GOP’s continued hold on the Senate gives Republicans control over all critical federal judicial appointments, including nominations to the Supreme Court. Republicans flipped a number of marquee Senate seats on Tuesday, with wins by Josh Hawley over Sen. Claire McCaskill in Missouri, Rep. Kevin Cramer over Sen. Heidi Heitkamp in North Dakota, Republican Gov. Rick Scott over longtime Sen. Bill Nelson in Florida, and Mike Braun over Joe Donnelly in Indiana. . .

But Democrats’ win in the House gives fresh hope to liberals who want to investigate and perhaps even impeach the president. The takeover in that chamber ensures a contentious next two years leading into the 2020 presidential elections.

Democrats will also be able to halt many items on Trump’s legislative wishlist, including funding for his proposed border wall and a new middle-class tax cut — or at least extract major concessions on contentious issues like immigration reform before Trump gets his way. Democrats Set to Take House but Republicans Hold Senate

By Telegraph UK. Democrats look set to take the majority in the House of Representatives but fail to win back the Senate after the “blue wave” of historic support they hoped for failed to materialise.

Multiple US broadcasters projected that the Democrats would take the House. It will allow them to block Donald Trump’s laws and launch a string of investigations into his administration. However the Republicans looked on course to hold – or possibly even increase – their majority in the Senate, a result which Mr Trump is likely to use as proof that the night was not as bad as feared.

In the most closely watched race of election night, Ted Cruz was projected to see off Beto O’Rourke, the Democrat who became a nationwide pinup for liberals, and win re-election as Texas senator.

Pundits credited Republican turnout from a support base fired up by Mr Trump with robbing the Democrats of the landslide election they were hoping to secure. (Read more from “Democrats Set to Take House but Republicans Hold Senate” HERE)

Democrats Have Become a Dangerous Threat to Our Institutions

When modern Democrats talk about preseving “norms,” traditions,” or even the “Constitution,” they’re really talking about preserving their preferred policies. We know this because “liberals” have shown themselves not only willing to destroy the legitimacy of institutions like the presidency, the Senate ,and Supreme Court to protect those policies, they’re willing to break down basic norms of civility, as well.

Take the example of Hillary Clinton. In the very first sentence in her new scaremongering essay, which makes the case that America’s “democratic institutions and traditions are under siege,” she attacks our democratic institutions and traditions. “It’s been nearly two years since Donald Trump won enough Electoral College votes to become president of the United States,” the piece begins.

The intimation, of course, widely shared by the mainstream left, is that Trump isn’t a legitimate president even though he won the election in the exact same way every other president in U.S. history has ever won election. According to our long-held democratic institutions and traditions, you become president through the Electoral College, not the non-existent popular vote.

So when Clinton, or writers at Vox, or The Atlantic, or Politico, or new liberal favorite Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, say it’s “well past time we eliminate the Electoral College, a shadow of slavery’s power on America today that undermines our nation as a democratic republic,” you’re either tragically ignorant about our system or cynically delegitimizing it. Or maybe it’s both.

The Electoral College isn’t ornamental; it exists to undercut the tyranny of direct democracy and ensure the entire nation is represented in national elections. When you attack it, you’re not condemning Trump, you are, in a very palpable way, attacking a core idea that girds much of our governance. Union Leader Campaigning for Democrat: ‘Vote Early, Vote Often, Whatever You Can Get Away With’

An Illinois union leader campaigning for the state’s Democratic gubernatorial nominee was caught on video encouraging a crowd to “vote early, vote often, whatever you can get away with.”

Totsy Bailey, president of Local 439 Steamfitters/Pipefitters Union, told those gathered at the Caseyville rally Saturday that they have a “great candidate for governor” in JB Pritzker, KMOV-TV reported. Pritzker is running against incumbent Republican Gov. Bruce Rauner.

“He’s gonna win. He’s gonna win big,” Bailey said of Pritzker. “But he won’t win if we do not get out and vote. We need to early vote. Like I say, we can play East St. Louis route … vote early, vote often, whatever you can get away with. I shouldn’t say that, but I really don’t care.” . . .

“Voting is no joking matter, particularly in an election with so much at stake,” [spokeswoman] Abudayyeh told the station. “Illinois can’t afford another four years of failure from Bruce Rauner, and JB is proud to be running on real plans to get Illinois back on track. Whether during early voting starting September 27th or on Election Day, JB encourages all Illinoisans who are able to exercise their right to vote.”

Top Democrats Show Their True Anti-American Colors

. . .New York Governor Andrew Cuomo slammed our great nation this week while attacking President Trump. “We’re not going to Make America Great Again,” Cuomo said. “It was never that great.”

Cuomo’s grossly offensive and unpatriotic comments are just the latest episode in a growing catalogue of anti-American words and deeds by Democrats.

One might be tempted to assume that this barely-concealed, if not celebrated, hatred of America was the sole preserve of a radical fringe of the Democratic Party. But one would be wrong. A recent poll found that fewer than a third — only 32 percent — of Democrats are proud to be Americans.

The Democrats’ anti-Americanism has been noticeable for some time. While campaigning for President, then-candidate Obama attacked two foundations of America — the right to bear arms and the Christian religion — and the patriots who cherish them. Working-class voters “get bitter, they cling to guns or religion,” he said.

Following his election, Michelle Obama remarked, “for the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country.” President Obama then proceeded to go on his infamous apology tour, slamming and slandering America in front of backward, barbaric societies across the world. Dems Call for Boycott of Huge Fast Food Chain Over Republican Donations, Chain Refuses to Back Down

By The Daily Caller. The California Democratic Party chair called Thursday for a boycott of burger chain In-N-Out because of a $25,000 donation that In-N-Out gave to the California Republican Party on Tuesday.

“Et tu In-N-Out?” state party Chair Eric Bauman wrote on Twitter Thursday. “Tens of thousands of dollars donated to the California Republican Party… it’s time to #BoycottInNOut – let Trump and his cronies support these creeps… perhaps animal style!”

The California-based chain now faces a host of customers tweeting with the hashtag #BoycottInNOut after a public filing detailing the donation was posted on Twitter by freelance journalist Gabe Schneider Wednesday.

In-N-Out donated a total of $60,000 to the California Republican Party in 2016 and 2017 for “general party expenses,” according to Los Angeles Magazine. But the corporation also donated $50,000 in 2018 to Californians for Jobs and a Strong Economy, a “political action committee that supports business-friendly Democratic candidates,” according to Forbes. In-N-Out Refuses to Back Down, Responds to Democrat Boycott Calls With Strong Statement

By The Daily Caller. After California Democratic Party Chair Eric Bauman called for a boycott of the restaurant chain for its donations to the California Republican Party, In-N-Out Burger Executive Vice President Arnie Wensinger responded with a statement defending the “fair and consistent approach” of “bipartisan support.”

“In 2018, In-N-Out Burger has made equal contributions to both Democratic and Republican Political Action Committees in the State of California,” Wensinger wrote on Thursday as he began his defense of a company that supports lawmakers not based on party affiliation but rather the promotion of “policies that strengthen California” and help the company provide “strong pay and great benefits” for its employees.
