Trump: Canada’s Trudeau Makes ‘Commitment’ To U.S. During Mar-A-Lago Meeting

President-elect Donald Trump said on Saturday that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau committed to working with the U.S. on issues that Trump raised earlier this week.

Trump said that his meeting with Trudeau at Mar-a-Lago was “very productive” as the two leaders “discussed many important topics that will require both Countries to work together to address, like the Fentanyl and Drug Crisis that has decimated so many lives as a result of Illegal Immigration, Fair Trade Deals that do not jeopardize American Workers, and the massive Trade Deficit the U.S. has with Canada.”

“I made it very clear that the United States will no longer sit idly by as our Citizens become victims to the scourge of this Drug Epidemic, caused mainly by the Drug Cartels, and Fentanyl pouring in from China,” Trump continued. “Too much death and hardship! Prime Minister Trudeau has made a commitment to work with us to end this terrible devastation of U.S. Families.”

He said that they also spoke about energy, trade, and the Arctic — issues that he said he would address starting on his first day back in office. (Read more from “Trump: Canada’s Trudeau Makes ‘Commitment’ To U.S. During Mar-A-Lago Meeting” HERE)

Trump’s Pick for FBI Director Sparks Strong Reactions From Pundits and Lawmakers

President-elect Trump’s announcement of Kash Patel being nominated as the new FBI director continued to elicit strong opinions from experts and lawmakers on the Sunday shows.

In a Truth Social post on Saturday, Trump announced his intent to replace current FBI Director Christopher Wray, who Trump hired during his first term. Since then, media outlets have labeled Patel an “extremely controversial pick” because of his opposition to the “deep state.”

Left-wing commentators showed concern over the politicization of the FBI and whether Patel would be a Trump “enforcer” who’d “dismantle” the agency.

Former Obama administration official Juliette Kayyem claimed Patel was chosen only to go after Trump’s political enemies.

“[Patel] has no other agenda but revenge. I mean, it‘s not like he has a theory of law enforcement, a theory of reducing crime or financial crimes. He exists for one reason, and he‘s close to Trump for one reason, which is he will be the enforcer of what might be called sort of the revenge tour of this second term. So it‘s not really a matter of, what do I think or what should people think. He is appointed for this purpose,” Kayyem said. Trump Nominates DEA Administrator

President-elect Donald Trump has nominated Hillsborough County, Florida, Sheriff Chad Chronister to lead the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), he announced Saturday.

Chronister, who has served with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office for more than 32 years, received “countless commendations and awards for keeping his community SAFE,” Trump said in a Truth Social post.

“A proud graduate of the FBI National Academy’s 260th Session, Chad is Co-Chairman of the Regional Domestic Security Task Force for Region IV Tampa Bay, Council Member of the Florida Attorney General’s Statewide Council on Human Trafficking, Chairman of the Criminal Justice Sub-Committee, Vice-Chairman of the Hillsborough County Public Safety Coordinating Council, and Vice-Chairman of the Hillsborough County Public Schools Citizen Oversight Committee,” the president-elect continued.

“As DEA Administrator, Chad will work with our great Attorney General, Pam Bondi, to secure the Border, stop the flow of Fentanyl, and other Illegal Drugs, across the Southern Border, and SAVE LIVES,” Trump wrote. “Congratulations to Chad, his wife Nikki, and two wonderful sons!”

In a post on X, the sheriff called the nomination the “honor of a lifetime”:

Trump Predicted Biden Would Pardon Criminal Hunter Even as Joe Denied It (VIDEO)

President-elect Donald Trump predicted President Joe Biden would pardon his criminal son Hunter even as the elder Biden repeatedly denied he would do so.

President Biden shocked the establishment media and many around the world Sunday by announcing a full and complete pardon of Hunter despite repeatedly stating unequivocally he would not do so. Hunter was found guilty earlier this year on three federal gun charges but has faced numerous legal issues and intense scrutiny from Capitol Hill investigators.

Trump, who predicted the pardon in October, was likely unsurprised.

“I’ll bet you the father probably pardons him, let’s see what happens, but he’s a bad boy, there’s no question about it,” Trump told Bill Melugin of Fox News on October 24, 2024, when asked if he himself would be open to pardoning Biden’s son.

No Prejudice Here: Jack Smith’s Legal Move Keeps Federal Cases Against Trump Waiting In the Wings

Even though both federal criminal prosecutions against President-elect Donald Trump have been dismissed, the charges could return against him again once he leaves office in 2029.

Special counsel Jack Smith had his two cases dismissed without prejudice, meaning they can be renewed in the future. Mr. Trump’s legal team has not moved to have them dismissed with prejudice.

Brian Claypool, a trial lawyer in California, said Mr. Smith moved to dismiss the cases before Inauguration Day because he “wanted to control the narrative and keep these charges alive.”

“Otherwise, Trump would have fired him after the inauguration, then [Trump’s nominee for Attorney General] Pam Bondi would have come in and had all of the charges dismissed ‘with prejudice,’ meaning they are expunged forever and cannot be revived,” Mr. Claypool said. . .

“If a Republican wins in 2028, then the statute of limitations will likely have run on these charges by the time 2032 rolls around. If a Democrat wins in 2028, he/she could have the new Attorney General refile the charges against Trump since he would be a private citizen by then,” Mr. Claypool said in an email to The Washington Times. Trump Attorney General Nominee Pam Bondi Heads to Capitol Hill

Pam Bondi, a longtime loyalist to President-elect Donald Trump and his pick for attorney general, is headed to Capitol Hill next week to start meetings with key Republicans in Congress, paving the way for a smooth confirmation.

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) announced Friday that he would meet with Bondi on Monday morning.

Grassley is poised to chair the Senate Judiciary Committee, which has long been tasked with evaluating and considering picks for attorney general. The Iowa Republican, 91, is also expected to become Senate president pro tempore, third in line to the presidency.

“Attorney General Nominee Bondi is looking forward to the confirmation process and answering any questions senators might have,” Trump transition spokesman Alex Pfeiffer told the Washington Examiner. “Attorney General Nominee Bondi’s life has been dedicated to keeping Americans safe. She looks forward to continuing that work at the Department of Justice.”

Trump nominated Bondi for attorney general last week after former Rep. Matt Gaetz withdrew his name from consideration. (Read more from “Trump Attorney General Nominee Pam Bondi Heads to Capitol Hill” HERE)

Oil For Deportation Flights? Trump Reportedly Pushed To Make Deal With Dictator

President-elect Donald Trump is reportedly being urged to ease economic pressure on Venezuela in exchange for their government helping him achieve his mass deportation objectives.

U.S. oil executives and other businessmen close to Trump are pushing him to forgo his first-term policy of intense pressure on Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro in return for fewer illegal migrants in the U.S., according to a report in the Wall Street Journal. Such a deal is reportedly welcome within Maduro’s inner circle, with his government believing they can help Trump achieve his policy goals by supplying the U.S. with their oil in exchange for resuming deportation flights.

Under the Biden administration, federal immigration authorities and major cities across the country have experienced an unprecedented illegal immigration crisis. Management of this crisis was made more difficult when Venezuela, a major source of illegal immigration, stopped accepting deportation flights in February.

Nearly 8 million Venezuelans have fled the country under Maduro, a leftist authoritarian who has overseen rampant inflation, economic turmoil and political repression. Hundreds of thousands of Venezuelan nationals have since flocked to the U.S., largely by unlawfully crossing the U.S.-Mexico border, Customs and Border Protection data show. Here’s Why Mark Zuckerberg Had Dinner With Trump At Mar-a-Lago

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg met with President-elect Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago residence to seemingly brown-nose the soon-to-be commander-in-chief to reportedly be a part of Trump’s revolutionary change in the United States.

Despite lying to Congress about censoring conservatives, Zuckerberg visited Trump’s Palm Beach, Florida home on Wednesday to be a part of his “reform movement” that the incoming administration is leading.

Trump adviser Stephen Miller confirmed Trump and Zuckerberg’s meeting, saying that the Facebook founder views Trump’s second term as a chance at “national renewal” in the country. He said that although Zuckerberg has his own company and his own agenda, he “understands that President Trump is an agent of change, an agent of prosperity.”

A Meta spokesperson said that Zuckerberg was “grateful” to be invited to Mar-a-Lago for dinner to meet with Trump.

“It’s an important time for the future of American Innovation. Mark was grateful for the invitation to join President Trump for dinner and the opportunity to meet with members of his team about the incoming Administration,” the spokesperson said. ‘Happy Thanksgiving to All, Including the Radical Left Lunatics’: Here’s Trump’s Thanksgiving Message

In the early morning hours of the holiday, President-elect Donald Trump shared his Thanksgiving message for the American people, starting off with a reminder that his well wishes also included “the Radical Left Lunatics who have worked so hard to destroy our country.” He also posted such a message over X, with his message being a trending topic over X for Thursday morning.

As Trump reminded right away, though, they “have miserably failed, and will always fail, because their ideas and policies are so hopelessly bad that the great people of our Nation just have a landslide victory to those who want to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

It’s not just that Trump won the White House earlier this month, but on the night of the election, Republicans won enough seats to take back control of the Senate. Less than a week later, Republicans won enough seats to keep control of the House. Democrats have continuously been in disarray, even weeks after the election.

“Don’t worry, our Country will soon be respected, productive, fair, and strong, and you will be, more than ever before, proud to be an American!” Trump concluded his message, offering encouragement to his fellow Americans on this Thanksgiving holiday, with many no doubt thankful that his second term is set to begin in less than two months.

Lawmaker Floats Idea of State Seceding to Resist President-Elect Trump

A plan for states to secede from the union of United States because they disagree politically with the majority is something that’s been tried before.

Unsuccessfully, as the horrendous death tolls of the Civil War and its after-war punishments, like “carpet-baggers,” document.

But Democrats in New York apparently believe it would produce a better result this time.

That’s because they are considering a plan to become, along with several nearby states, a province of Canada over President-elect Donald Trump’s coming administration.

It is the Washington Examiner that has reported that the rage from leftists is over Trump’s plans to address the catastrophic results of the Joe Biden-Kamala Harris open borders agenda. . .

The report said it is New York state Sen. Liz Krueger, a Democrat from New York City, who proposed withholding taxes from the federal government, or leaving entirely. (Read more from “Lawmaker Floats Idea of State Seceding to Resist President-Elect Trump” HERE)
