Initial Trial Date Set in Federal Documents Case Against Donald Trump

Former President Donald Trump is slated to face an August trial in the federal case accusing him of hoarding national security documents, though it is highly unlikely the initial schedule will hold.

The 45th president pleaded not guilty on June 13 to a 37-count indictment accusing him of keeping a trove of top secret papers at his Mar-a-Lago resort after he’d left office, and then lying about it to federal investigators.

Florida federal Judge Aileen Cannon –– who was appointed to the bench by Trump in 2020 –– set an Aug. 14 trial date on Tuesday, though that start date will likely be pushed back due to expected pre-trial litigation from Trump’s camp as well as the complexity of the case.

According to Cannon’s schedule, all pre-trial motions in the case are due July 24, with the next hearing set for Aug. 8.

The feds say Trump had national security documents that weren’t declassified at his Palm Beach, Fla., estate, and the criminal complaint against the 77-year-old references a July 2021 recording of him showing acquaintances a plan to launch a military strike against Iran. Trump denied that accusation Monday in an interview with Fox News. (Read more from “Initial Trial Date Set in Federal Documents Case Against Donald Trump” HERE)

Trump: Drug Dealers Should Get Death Penalty (VIDEO)

During a portion of an interview with the Fox News Channel that took place on Monday and was aired on Tuesday’s broadcast of “Special Report,” 2024 Republican presidential candidate former President Donald Trump argued that giving the death penalty to drug dealers is “the only way” to stop drug problems, and that Alice Johnson, a drug dealer he gave clemency to, “was treated very unfairly. She got 48 years,” despite not being “much of” a dealer. Trump also stated that his death penalty proposal “would depend on the severity.” But Johnson wouldn’t get the death penalty under his plan because it wouldn’t be retroactive, and “she wouldn’t have done it” if dealers got the death penalty.

Host Bret Baier asked, “You have said you would be in favor of the death penalty for drug dealers. Still the case?”

Trump responded, “Yeah, that’s the only way you’re going to stop it.” (Read more from “Trump: Drug Dealers Should Get Death Penalty (VIDEO)” HERE)

U.S. Relations With China ‘Worse’ Than With Cold War Soviet Union, Former NatSec Adviser Says

Former Trump National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster believes American relations with China today are “worse” than they were with the Soviet Union during the Cold War.

McMaster made the remarks during an interview with Margaret Brennan on CBS News’ “Face The Nation” Sunday. He told the host that U.S.-China relations are more complex than they were with the U.S.S.R. because of the interconnectedness of the two economies, and said the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) must “change its behavior” so the two countries can have a better relationship.

“It’s worse, it’s worse,” McMaster said when asked by Brennan about comparisons to the Cold War in response to news of China’s spy facility in Cuba. “Because it’s a more difficult problem set because of the way that our economies have become interconnected, in large measure based on these flawed assumptions about the nature of relationship, and especially the intentions of the Chinese Communist Party.”

“We thought that, that we could determine the behavior of the party by the way we engage them,” McMaster said. “But hey, guess what I mean, the Chinese Communist Party leadership had aspirations that went far beyond anything in reaction to what we do. And China really does want to establish itself as it sees it at the center.” (Read more from “U.S. Relations With China ‘Worse’ Than With Cold War Soviet Union, Former NatSec Adviser Says” HERE)

Goya Foods CEO Calls for Spiritual ‘Intervention’ in 2024: ‘We’re Going to Lose This Country’

As the Republican presidential field continues to expand, Goya Foods CEO Bob Unanue issued a call to action Friday, warning voters will “lose” the country if President Biden is re-elected to a second term.

“As a CEO, businessman, what’s happened in the last two years is a complete disaster,” Unanue told “Mornings with Maria.”

“We’ve unraveled all the gains that were made. But I’m more here today as a Latino than as a business person. And when things get bad, we need an intervention. We need an intervention bad, or otherwise we’re going to lose this country, our morality,” he continued. . .

“We are in a spiritual war,” Unanue said. “But this intervention is going to take place with the Holy Spirit. Latinos, which will be the biggest group in this country by 2050 or by next week with this open border, hold the values of God, family, life, work. We are attacked.” . . .

“[Latinos] left countries with communism, with oppression where there’s no freedom of speech, only to find that happening here,” he continued. “We’re in a country where we’re attacking the children. Our children are under attack, and we need to heal. And Donald Trump is the person who we are blessed with and who will lead this country closer to God.” (Read more from “Goya Foods CEO Calls for Spiritual ‘Intervention’ in 2024: ‘We’re Going to Lose This Country’” HERE)

Majority of GOP Wants Trump in Race Even After Indictment: Poll

Republicans continue to stand behind former President Donald Trump despite his recent indictment by a Florida grand jury, according to a poll released on Friday.

Although the majority of voters overall (56%) believe Trump should drop out of the 2024 presidential race because of the indictment, 64% of Republican and Republican-leaning respondents said they would continue to support Trump if he remains in the race, according to a national poll conducted by the Marist Institute for Public Opinion.

“As former President Trump deals with his latest legal woes, Republicans are mostly standing with him, while Democrats are calling for him to exit the 2024 campaign,” Marist Director Lee Miringoff said in a statement.

“Time will tell if this pattern holds, but for now, Republicans are grounded on where they stand on Trump regardless of these unfolding events,” he added.

More than three-quarters of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents, 76%, have a favorable opinion of Trump, up from 68% in February, the poll said. (Read more from “Majority of GOP Wants Trump in Race Even After Indictment: Poll” HERE)

“They’ve Pushed Him to a Whole New Level” — Trump’s Post-indictment Speech Changes Everything (VIDEO)

Something has definitely shifted. The energy is palpable. This isn’t like 2016 or 2020. It’s far more intense. The unjust and morally reprehensible communist-style indictment of President Trump by Biden’s corrupt and weaponized DOJ has taken things to a whole new level. President Trump’s speech last evening is a warning to the “deep state” that the gloves have come off.

Here’s a quick summary of President Trump’s powerful speech from popular podcaster Brenden Dilley.

[Warning: tweet contains explicit language.]

Naturally, the regime’s propaganda media conveniently ignored President Trump’s speech, despite him being the frontrunner in the current 2024 race. Their excuse is that he lies and is “dangerous.” This is rich, coming from the people who brought you six tireless years of the fake Russia Hoax. Also, have these hacks ever listened to Joe Biden? The man wouldn’t know the truth if it walked up and introduced itself. . .

The truth is, the regime is deeply fearful of President Trump, which is evident by their relentless efforts over nearly nine years now to silence his voice. This is precisely why the propaganda-driven media refuses to broadcast his speeches — they are well aware of the undeniable truths he speaks and they don’t want you to hear it.

But Trump won’t be silenced. Following Tuesday’s second, much more serious indictment, Trump delivered a notably more focused and dynamic speech compared to his last remarks following the absurd “Stormy Daniels” indictment in New York City.

Trump’s Faith Advisor Says We Shouldn’t Convert Jews to Jesus

Former US President Donald Trump’s closest evangelical adviser, Florida pastor Paula White, believes Christians should learn from Jews rather than try to convert them, so much so that she is now in Israel studying Torah with Orthodox Jews.

“Paul [the apostle] made very clear that God extended his love to the Gentiles, but he did not take something from the Jews and tell us to go back and course correct or convert them,” White told The Jerusalem Post on Wednesday, as she sat outside the King David Hotel. “I do not want to convert Jews or send them to [live in] Israel for the rapture. The plan for salvation for the Jews is God’s.”

The rapture is a Christian, particularly evangelical, belief about the end of days, when Jesus will return, the bodies of dead believers will be resurrected, and Christianity will be glorified.

White said that to be a good Christian, one must understand Judaism.

“There are so many churches in America that are deeply hungry to understand Torah,” White said. “You can be Jewish without being Christian, but you cannot be Christian without understanding Judaism.” (Read more from “Trump’s Faith Advisor Says We Shouldn’t Convert Jews to Jesus” HERE)

Clay Travis Calls Out ‘Disrespectful’ Mike Pence During Tense Interview When Asked About Pardoning Trump

Conservative radio host Clay Travis called former Vice President Mike Pence “pretty disrespectful” to his old boss in a tense interview Wednesday about whether the Republican presidential candidate would pardon Donald Trump if elected president.

Travis, who along with co-host Buck Sexton has said the federal prosecution of Trump for mishandling classified documents is politicized, challenged Pence to directly answer if he would pardon Trump as a matter of principle.

“These are serious charges,” Pence said. “I can’t defend what’s been alleged, but the president does deserve to make his defense.”

Pence said the pardoning authority is an “enormously important” power for someone in an executive position, calling the idea of a pardon premature, but the founder of “OutKick” wasn’t pleased.

“I think as a matter of principle, if you believe… Donald Trump is being prosecuted to a large extent for political-based reasons, something that has never happened in the 240-plus year history of the United States, that we are setting an awful precedent here,” Travis said.

‘It Won’t Stop With Me’: Trump Warns ‘Communists’ Will ‘Ramp up Persecution’ of Christians, Pro-Lifers, Parents; ‘No Coincidence’ DOJ Indicted Me ‘Same Day’ FBI Turns Over Doc Alleging Biden Bribery Scheme (VIDEO)

By Breitbart. Former President Donald Trump warned a crowd during a speech following his arraignment on Tuesday that the “communists” going after him “will not hesitate to ramp up their persecution” of everyday Americans if they successfully put him in prison.

“We have a nation in serious decline. If the communists get away with this, it won’t stop with me,” Trump said.

“They will not hesitate to ramp up their persecution of Christians, pro-life activists, parents attending school board meetings, and even future Republican candidates — which they do. We must end it permanently, and we must end it immediately…The seal is broken by what they’ve done. They should have never have done this,” he continued.

Trump’s warning about increased persecution against Christians, pro-life activists, and parents attending school board meetings comes after President Joe Biden’s administration has been caught repeatedly framing these groups as “extremist,” dangerous, and even potential domestic terrorism threats (see here, here, and here).

Trump made the remarks during a speech in Bedminster, New Jersey, following his arraignment in Miami, where he faces 37 federal charges relating to allegations he mishandled classified documents found at his Mar-a-Lago resort. Special counsel Jack Smith charged Trump and the former president’s aid Walt Nauta last week.

Trump: ‘No Coincidence’ DOJ Indicted Me ‘Same Day’ FBI Turns Over Doc Alleging Biden Bribery Scheme

By Breitbart. Former President Donald Trump highlighted Tuesday his indictment came the same day House Republicans reviewed a document that is alleged to tie then-Vice President Joe Biden to a $5 million bribery scheme.

Trump spoke at his Bedminster, New Jersey, golf club following his arraignment at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida on 37 federal counts relating to the documents case. He pointed to the FD-1023 document that Republicans on the House Oversight Committee obtained and reviewed on Thursday that allegedly links Biden to a bribery scheme involving Ukrainian energy company Burisma.

“It’s also no coincidence these charges against me came down the very same day evidence revealed Joe Biden took a $5 million bribe from Ukraine,” he said.

Tucker Carlson: Trump’s Sins ‘Are Minor Compared to Those of His Persecutors’ (VIDEO)

Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson blasted the indictment of former President Trump and accused President Biden of persecuting his top political enemy.

“Whatever else you say about him, Trump is the one guy who actually has a shot at becoming president who descends from Washington’s longstanding pointless war agenda,” Carlson said in the latest version of his “Tucker on Twitter” show. “And for that, that one fact, they are trying to take Trump out before you can vote for him.”

Carlson called Trump “a flawed man” but said “his sins are minor compared to those of his persecutors.”

The pundit’s embrace of Trump comes more than month after he was ousted from his prime-time show on Fox, a move the network made less than a week after it agreed to pay hundreds of millions of dollars in a settlement with Dominion Voting Systems over false claims Trump and his allies made on the network’s air about its software.

As part of Dominion’s process of discovery in the blockbuster lawsuit, text messages Carlson sent to colleagues around the time of the 2020 election showed the then-top prime-time host privately bemoaning Trump and the headaches he was causing for the network with its viewers as the former president refused to concede defeat and floated unfounded theories about voter fraud.
