WATCH: Crowd Erupts as Trump Imitates Biden Being Lost on Stage; Body Language Expert: Why DeSantis Was Animated When Asked About Polls

By Daily Caller. Former President Donald Trump drew thunderous applause at a New Hampshire rally Thursday when he mocked President Joe Biden for getting lost on stage.

Trump rallied with supporters in Manchester, New Hampshire, and imitated Biden by pretending to get lost on stage, video shows.

“You would think at least one time he’d get up and say, ‘I’m running for president — where, where am I going, where the hell am I going,’” Trump said while pretending to look around frantically, drawing laughter from the crowd.

“I want to get out, oh, no over there, over there,” Trump said in an affected voice before walking away from the podium and acting befuddled. The crowd erupted at Trump’s gesture and he walked back to the podium to hear the applause. The former president carried on with his speech after a few moments. Body Language Expert: Why DeSantis Was Animated When Asked About Polls

By Daily Mail. Ron DeSantis’ awkward response to falling poll numbers has critics speculating that he is ‘extremely shaken’ by the prospect of the drop-off in standing against former President Donald Trump.

The Florida governor has not yet announced a run for president, but his recent travels and continued national and international presence has only fueled speculation that he does plan to run in 2024.

Trump’s increasing lead seems to have shaken DeSantis.

Asked about an NBC News poll released Sunday that showed DeSantis trailing Trump by 15, the Florida governor appeared visibly caught off guard.

The exchange with reporters in Tokyo, Japan on Monday has been viewed 7.7 million times in just one clip posted to Twitter shortly after they happened.

Trump Retires Infamous Nickname for Hillary Clinton — And Reveals New One for Biden

Former President Donald Trump said “Crooked Joe Biden” poses a “threat to democracy,” vowing to “crush” him at the ballot box in November 2024 and to “settle our unfinished business.”

Trump on Thursday hosted a campaign rally in Manchester, New Hampshire, welcoming the crowd of nearly 2,000 people and touting more than 50 endorsements from Granite State officials, while reacting to Biden’s pre-taped re-election campaign announcement.

“Joe Biden officially announced that he will seek four more disastrous years in the White House,” Trump said, vowing to “rescue America” from another four years of “disastrous” Democratic policies.

Trump, who currently is leading the Republican 2024 presidential primary field by more than 30 points in a number of new polls this week, including the latest Fox News poll, shifted to make a “major announcement.”

“I will be retiring the name ‘Crooked’ from Hillary Clinton,” Trump said. “And I’m going to give her a new name — I don’t know, like maybe ‘Lovely Hillary’ or ‘Beautiful Hillary’ — but I’m going to retire the name ‘Crooked’ so that we can use the name for Joe Biden, because he’ll be known from now on as ‘Crooked Joe Biden.'” (Read more from “Trump Retires Infamous Nickname for Hillary Clinton — And Reveals New One for Biden” HERE)

Report: Donald Trump Is Considering Naming Ron DeSantis His VP on 2024 Ticket

Former President Donald Trump is reportedly considering whether to name Florida Governor Ron DeSantis as his running mate in 2024, RadarOnline.com has learned.

In a shocking development to come after months of attacks waged against DeSantis by Trump, the former president’s campaign team is reportedly urging Trump to consider naming the Florida governor as his vice president in an effort to secure the Republican nomination in next year’s presidential election. . .

“Some of his supporters are suggesting he make a deal with DeSantis to make him VP, and he’s listening, but hasn’t agreed,” one source familiar with the matter told Page Six on Tuesday.

“Supporters say the VP offer would stop DeSantis from opposing [Trump] and offer a ‘youthful conservative vigor’ to the slot, which Biden doesn’t have,” the insider continued. “DeSantis would also bring in big money to the campaign.”

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, DeSantis has yet to officially announce his own 2024 White House bid – although he is allegedly preparing to do so at the end of May. (Read more from “Report: Donald Trump Is Considering Naming Ron DeSantis His VP on 2024 Ticket” HERE)

Trump Hints He May Skip GOP Debates: ‘Nobody Got My Approval’

Former President Donald Trump appeared to cast doubt about whether he will participate in the GOP debates.

“I see that everybody is talking about the Republican Debates, but nobody got my approval, or the approval of the Trump Campaign, before announcing them. When you’re leading by seemingly insurmountable numbers, and you have hostile Networks with angry, TRUMP & MAGA-hating anchors asking the ‘questions,’ why subject yourself to being libeled and abused?” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

The Republican National Committee announced the first primary debate will take place in Milwaukee in August and will be hosted by Fox News. The RNC also announced the second debate will take place at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California, but the exact date and moderator have not been specified.

“Also, the Second Debate is being held at the Reagan Library, the Chairman of which is, amazingly, Fred Ryan, Publisher of The Washington Post. NO!” Trump added. (Read more from “Trump Hints He May Skip GOP Debates: ‘Nobody Got My Approval’” HERE)

Donald Trump Is Crushing Ron DeSantis in the Polls

Former President Donald Trump appears to be crushing his potential Republican rival, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, in a number of recent polls before DeSantis has even entered the presidential race.

A new Harris/Harvard poll conducted from April 18 to 19 showed Trump leading the Florida governor by 35 points among Republican voters in a hypothetical GOP presidential primary.

Trump announced his re-election bid shortly after the 2022 midterm elections but DeSantis has not yet formally launched a presidential campaign despite speculation that he will jump into the race.

The Harris/Harvard poll found Trump with 55 percent support among GOP voters—far ahead of DeSantis on 20 percent and former Vice President Mike Pence on just 7 percent and other potential candidates recording less than 5 percent each. Judge Nukes Alvin Bragg’s Request to Quash Subpoena Because ‘No One Is Above the Law’

Afederal judge on Wednesday denied Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s request for a court order to prevent the House Judiciary Committee from questioning a former prosecutor involved in the investigation of Donald Trump. Bragg, however, didn’t just lose on the merits. The court’s 25-page order eviscerated the Manhattan D.A. — and his former prosecutor, Mark Pomerantz.

Two weeks ago, Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, issued a subpoena directing Pomerantz to appear before the House Judiciary Committee at 10:00 on April 20, 2023. Pomerantz was previously a special assistant district attorney before abruptly resigning because Bragg had allegedly decided not to seek criminal charges against Trump.

Bragg responded to news of the subpoena by directing Pomerantz not to provide any information about his prior work to the Judiciary Committee. He also filed a complaint in federal court against Jordan and the committee, seeking an order declaring the Pomerantz subpoena invalid. Bragg simultaneously sought entry of a temporary restraining order to freeze the subpoena pending resolution of his lawsuit.

On Wednesday, federal Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil denied Bragg’s request to stop the Judiciary Committee from questioning Pomerantz. “Mr. Pomerantz must appear for the congressional deposition. No one is above the law,” Vyskocil wrote in a transparent swipe at the New York prosecutor who hung his pathetic indictment on that platitude.

While Bragg posited that the Judiciary Committee lacked a valid legislative purpose to issue the subpoena, Vyskocil rejected that argument. Congressional committees have the constitutional authority to conduct investigations and issue subpoenas, the court explained, and the court’s role is “strictly limited to determining only whether the subpoena is ‘plainly incompetent or irrelevant’” to any legitimate committee purpose. Because Jordan and the committee identified several valid legislative purposes underlying the subpoena, the court held Bragg could not quash it. Donald Trump Posts Scorched-Earth Rant Against Ron ‘Desanctus,’ Blasts Gov’s ‘Political Stunt’ Against Disney

Former President Donald Trump said Tuesday that Florida Gov. Ron “DeSanctus” is “being absolutely destroyed” in his ongoing feud with Disney and suggested that the House of Mouse could pull out of the Sunshine State completely.

“DeSanctus is being absolutely destroyed by Disney. His original P.R. plan fizzled, so now he’s going back with a new one in order to save face,” the 76-year-old former president wrote on his messaging platform Truth Social, using one of his preferred nicknames for the 44-year-old governor.

“Disney’s next move will be the announcement that no more money will be invested in Florida because of the Governor – In fact, they could even announce a slow withdrawal or sale of certain properties, or the whole thing. Watch!,” Trump added. “That would be a killer.”

“In the meantime, this is all so unnecessary, a political STUNT! Ron should work on the squatter MESS!,” the 45th president went on.

DeSantis and the entertainment behemoth have been at loggerheads since last year, when the company first spoke out against legislation the governor signed banning discussion of sexual orientation and gender identity in kindergarten through third grade classrooms. Trump Could Be Eyeing This Woman for VP

Former President Donald Trump may consider someone like Republican New York Rep. Elise Stefanik to be his vice presidential pick, Trump insiders told the Daily Caller.

Stefanik fits the profile of characteristics Trump’s team will be looking for in a VP. She’s rallied behind him in his impeachment proceedings and the New York indictment, and was the first member of GOP leadership to endorse him for president — throwing her weight behind his candidacy before Trump announced it himself. Her commitment could lead Trump to choose her on a basis of loyalty, which those close to Trump say is the most desired quality in a VP.

“Loyalty. That’s the necessary characteristic of anyone who wants to be VP. President Trump and the movement was dragged down by disloyalty in the White House,” a source close to Trump said.

The Caller granted anonymity to some sources familiar with Trump’s thinking to allow them to speak openly on a sensitive matter.

“I see no better fit than Elise Stefanik, but the president will take his own counsel,” Mike Caputo, a longtime friend and adviser to Trump, said. (Read more from “Trump Could Be Eyeing This Woman for VP” HERE)

Trump Explains What It Was Like During ‘Scam’ Arraignment: ‘I’m There to Win an Election’

Former President Donald Trump told Breitbart News exclusively that while he was going through the “scam” arraignment in Manhattan, after District Attorney Alvin Bragg indicted him, he thought the proceeding was “very unfair” and “very unfortunate.”

Asked during an exclusive interview here after his speech on Friday night to the National Rifle Association (NRA) annual gathering what it was like going through that arraignment, Trump explained that he understands it is entirely political and that he was focused on winning the election the entire time.

“I thought it was very unfair. It was very unfortunate,” Trump said. “I try to not think about what was going through my mind. You know, you’re there to do a thing and I’m there to win an election. I had no idea it was going to drive me even higher. We were doing very well in the polls before that but normally that doesn’t drive you higher it drives you lower sometimes somewhat but sometimes a lot lower. It drove us a lot higher. I think people see it for what it is: It’s a scam. They’re willing to do that. That’s destroying our country, that kind of stuff. That’s old Soviet Union kind of tactics what they would do. I think it’s a disgrace they are allowed to do it.”

This interview was Trump’s second since his indictment and arraignment. His first interview, with Fox News’s Tucker Carlson, touched on this topic briefly but focused mostly on foreign policy and the threats of nuclear war. This interview represents the deepest and most in-depth Trump has gone outside of speeches in reacting to what it was like getting indicted and then arraigned in Manhattan.

Trump added, too, that it is his belief that Democrat President Joe Biden is behind the entire thing—and that the White House is running everything. Trump pointed to the fact that Bragg’s office onboarded former senior Department of Justice (DOJ) official Matthew Colangelo late last year—someone who has spent years targeting Trump in his role at the DOJ and previously in his role in the New York Attorney General’s office. Trump Basks in Frontrunner Status: ‘I’m Honored’ by Polling Leads, ‘Party Is Very Unified’ Behind 2024 Campaign

Former President Donald Trump told Breitbart News exclusively on Friday night that he is “honored” to be the frontrunner for the White House in the 2024 presidential campaign.

Trump, just off his arraignment post-indictment in New York City, has seen a massive surge of support both in the GOP primary and in general election numbers in recent weeks.

“Well, I’m honored,” Trump said when asked why he thinks he is seeing the surge to frontrunner status. “Sadly, I have to say part of it is because the country is doing so poorly. I wish it were for other reasons. They saw how we did, and now they see the country doing so poorly and so pathetically. We’re not respected by anybody. You have wars all over. Ukraine and Russia never would have happened if I were president — zero chance. It looks like China is going to happen with Taiwan. That never would have happened. And inflation never would have happened. It was caused by energy prices more than anything else. So many of these things were just self-imposed foolish mistakes — stupid mistakes beyond anything anyone has ever seen before. So, yeah, I’m leading a lot in the polls — by 35 or 40 points in almost every poll. Texas just came in and we’re almost 50 points in Texas. Now, Massachusetts is almost 50 points.”

It seems like the indictment from Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, and the intense national focus on his arraignment, has only fueled Trump’s surge.

In general election numbers, two post-indictment YouGov surveys nationally put Trump ahead of Democrat President Joe Biden, and a Rasmussen Reports survey showed Trump expanding his lead to seven percent over the incumbent president.
