Journalist Suggests Trump’s Potential Indictment Is Being Timed to Distract From House’s Biden Probe: Do You Think It’s a ‘Coincidence?’

Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo suggested former President Donald Trump’s potential indictment might be part of a scheme to shield President Joe Biden and his family from scrutiny.

On Sunday Morning Futures, Bartiromo — speaking with House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) — discussed the news that Trump might be facing indictment over the Stormy Daniels hush money scandal. Asked by the Fox News anchor to weigh-in, Comer drew a connection between this development and the latest information he released from the House probe into the Biden family’s dealings with foreign businesses.

It’s very odd that this would come out just the very next day after I revealed bank records which showed that the Biden family, the president in particular, hasn’t been truthful with respect to his family receiving parents directly from the Chinese Communist Party. So it almost looks like it’s an effort to detract, But at very least, it’s another example of a two-tiered system of justice.

The Biden family probe has recently come under scrutiny by some at Fox News who are wondering when, or if, it will ever reveal actual proof of corruption or criminality. The information released by Comer did sway some skeptics — with CNN’s Erin Burnett among those who notably said it “doesn’t look good” that the Biden family received over a million dollars from accounts tied to Hunter Biden’s business dealings. Trump Allies Say DeSantis Running Illegal ‘Shadow Campaign’ for President

Former President Donald Trump took his attacks on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis to a new level Wednesday, as a super PAC linked to the 76-year-old accused his would-be rival of ethics violations tied to what it calls DeSantis’ “shadow presidential campaign.”

A draft of the 15-page letter by Make America Great Again Inc. calls on the Florida Commission on Ethics to investigate DeSantis, alleging that the 44-year-old has violated a slew of state statutes as well as federal campaign finance laws.

The complaint refers to DeSantis as a “de facto candidate for president” and claims that the governor is “leveraging his elected office and breaching his associated duties in a coordinated effort to develop his national profile, enrich himself and his political allies, and influence the national electorate.”

“Governor DeSantis’ failure to declare his candidacy is no mere oversight,” the complaint alleged. “[I]t is a coordinated effort to specifically designed for him to accept, as unethical gifts, illegal campaign contributions and certain personal benefits that are necessarily intended to influence his official decision to resign from office under Florida’s resign to run law.

“Governor DeSantis’ ham-handed maneuverings,” the complaint added, “have rendered him irreparably conflicted and have left the statehouse vacant.” (Read more from “Trump Allies Say DeSantis Running Illegal ‘Shadow Campaign’ for President” HERE)

Biden 2020 Campaign Had ‘Surreptitious Involvement’ in Russian Disinfo Hoax Surrounding Post’s Hunter Laptop Story: FEC Complaint

Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign had “surreptitious involvement” in organizing a letter written by 51 former intelligence officials that falsely claimed the New York Post’s story about Hunter Biden’s laptop was Russian disinformation, according to a complaint filed with the Federal Election Commission on Wednesday.

The complaint, from lawyers for former President Donald Trump, asks the FEC to record the infamous “Dirty 51” letter as an “in-kind contribution” to Biden’s campaign because it allegedly was used to influence the outcome of the election.

The Oct. 19, 2020, letter was signed by 51 ex-spooks, including five former or acting CIA directors — John Brennan, Leon Panetta, Mike Hayden, John McLoughlin and Mike Morell — as well as James Clapper, the one-time director of national intelligence.

It was delivered to Politico five days after The Post ran its exposé, and three days before the final presidential debate of the election campaign, where Biden cited the letter to discredit evidence from the laptop showing he met his son’s overseas business partners while he was vice president.

“The speed with which this letter was written, and the number of Individual Respondents involved, points directly to the surreptitious involvement of the Biden Campaign in soliciting or organizing the drafters of the letter in a clear violation of [the Federal Election Campaign Act],” claims the FEC complaint to be filed this week by attorney Timothy Parlatore. VIDEO: Trump and J6 Prison Choir Hit No. 1 on iTunes, Boot Miley Cyrus

. . .Donald Trump knocked pop star Miley Cyrus off the top of the iTunes chart over the weekend.

The former president’s duet with the J6 Prison Choir called “Justice for All” features Trump reciting the Pledge of Allegiance while his group of background singers — made up of people jailed for their involvement in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot — sing the “Star-Spangled Banner.”

The collaboration was No. 1 on iTunes’ Top 100 list Saturday, booting Cyrus’s “Flowers” from the coveted spot.

The 2-minute and 20-second ditty remained No. 1 on Sunday.

Trump, 76, who announced in November he is running for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, touted “Justice for All” on his Truth Social platform Saturday after it climbed into the top spot. (Read more from “Trump and J6 Prison Choir Hit No. 1 on iTunes, Boot Miley Cyrus” HERE)

Trump Has ‘No Plans’ to Testify in Grand Jury Investigation as Likelihood of Being Indicted Increases: Report

Former President Donald Trump has “no plans” to testify in the grand jury investigation into his involvement in the $130,000 hush payment made to former pornstar Stormy Daniels during the 2016 presidential election, according to his lawyer.

“We have no plans on participating in that proceeding,” Trump attorney Joe Tacopina told ABC News on Monday. “Decision needs to be made still. There’s been no deadline set, so we’ll wait and see.”

The criminal investigation into Trump’s payment to Daniels, who says that she had an affair with the former president, has lasted five years. The case involves a payment that former Trump attorney Michael Cohen, who pled guilty to felony charges related to the payment, made to Daniels during the presidential race.

The New York Times reported that Cohen is set to testify this week, describing the move as a “sign that prosecutors are poised to indict the former president for his role in paying hush money.” (Read more from “Trump Has ‘No Plans’ to Testify in Grand Jury Investigation as Likelihood of Being Indicted Increases: Report” HERE)

Trump Explains Why He Gave DeSantis Nickname ‘Ron Desanctimonious,’ Says He Regrets Endorsing Him for Governor

Former President Donald Trump explained why he gave Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis the name “Ron DeSanctimonious,” and said he regrets endorsing him for governor. . .

“Well, I guess it’s referring to the fact that when you do something for somebody and they don’t reciprocate, I never liked that. And he was out of politics. He would have had to go to work for some law office or something. And he came to me, he asked for an endorsement. I said, ‘you are so dead right now. No endorsements gonna save you. George Washington won’t save.’ He said ‘I’m telling you if you endorse me, I have a chance’ and he was one of many, many congressmen that voted for me on the impeachment hoax. And I figured why not? So I gave him an endorsement because I didn’t know the other gentleman who was Adam Putnam, was the Agricultural Commissioner, which in Florida is a big deal,” Trump told reporters.

“When I endorsed him, the race was indeed over, but it was over for him. And then I got him passed the crackhead. You know, you had a guy running who was actually the star of the party. Him and Stacey Abrams, male and female versions. And Ron didn’t think he could win. I had two rallies, maybe three. And we had tremendous crowds at the rallies. I said, ‘I think you’re gonna win.’ And he ended up winning. And then a couple of years later, what do you guys do, ask him a question, ‘are you running for president?’ And he said, ‘I have no comment.’ I said that’s not supposed to happen. Because he was dead as a dog. He was a dead politician. He would have been working perhaps for a law firm or doing something else,” he continued. . .

“And the moment I endorsed him, the whole thing changed immediately. It didn’t take two days it took just a short time. I’m a loyal person, so when I use the word Ron DeSanctimonious or Ron DeSanctus, it’s just a shorter version. I use them both. I can’t use the sanctimonious twice in the same paragraph. So I use them but they actually work quite nicely together. Some people like them, some people don’t, but I never did use the word meatball,” Trump added. Opportunist and Leftwing Political Activist Alexander Vindman Accused of Trying to Profit off Ukraine War With Defense Contracts

Retired Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, who made waves as a witness during the first impeachment proceedings of former President Donald Trump, is now being accused of trying to profit off the war in Ukraine by pitching lucrative defense contracts through his private company.

In a statement to Fox News Digital, Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., who was one of the sharpest critics of Vindman throughout the impeachment investigation, blasted him as an “opportunist,” and accused him of undertaking continuous efforts to try and personally profit from his attacks against the Trump administration to his reported dealings in Ukraine.

The first impeachment of Trump centered around a July 2019 call in which Trump pressed Ukrainian President Zelenskyy to launch investigations into the Biden family’s actions and business dealings in Ukraine—specifically Hunter Biden’s ventures with Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma Holdings. The president’s request came after millions in U.S. military aid to Ukraine had been frozen, which Democrats and some witnesses, including Vindman, cited as a quid pro quo arrangement.

“When conservatives speak the truth, the mainstream media panics and desperately attempts to provide cover for the left. They did this for Alexander Vindman, just like they did for Hunter Biden, Dr. Fauci and teachers unions,” Blackburn said, referencing liberal media outlets’ staunch defense of Vindman throughout his time as a witness during the impeachment investigation.

“Alexander Vindman has always been a political activist and opportunist masquerading behind his career. He saw an opening for personal fame and profited by exploiting the media’s outrage against President Trump,” she accused. Trump Easily Wins CPAC ’24 Poll, Vows to ‘Deal With RINOs’ (VIDEO)

Former President Donald Trump touted his White House experience and vowed to “deal with the RINOs” in a marathon speech Saturday at the Conservative Political Action Conference, where he easily won the 2024 presidential straw poll.

Trump seemed eager to settle scores with members of both parties after a turbulent first term and his re-election loss in 2020. Calling the 2024 contest “the final battle,” Trump acknowledged in the event’s keynote address that he is wiser now about the way Washington works.

“We’ll appropriately deal with the RINOs,” he said, referring to “Republicans In Name Only.” “We will never go back to the party of Paul Ryan, Karl Rove and Jeb Bush.”

Trump won the support of 62% of respondents at the annual event’s straw poll, held this year in Fort Washington, MD. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who did not attend, came in second with 20%, and third place went to Michigan billionaire Perry Johnson.

DOJ Says Trump Can Be Sued Over January 6

The Justice Department (DOJ) said Thursday that former President Donald Trump can be sued in connection to the breach of the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.

Attorneys for the DOJ Civil Division filed a court brief in response to the D.C. U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals asking the agency to respond to Trump’s claim of absolute immunity in a bid to dismiss the civil lawsuits brought against him.

“Speaking to the public on matters of public concern is a traditional function of the Presidency, and the outer perimeter of the President’s Office includes a vast realm of such speech,” government lawyers wrote. (Read more from “DOJ Says Trump Can Be Sued Over January 6” HERE)

Jim Jordan Wants to Know Why DOJ Hasn’t Appointed a Special Counsel for Hunter Biden

While U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland has appointed special counsels to probe the handling of classified documents by President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump, he has not appointed one to handle investigations of Hunter Biden — and that has House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) curious.

So, to get some answers with his power as chairman of the powerful Judiciary Committee, Jordan sent a letter to AG Garland on Tuesday looking to get his hands on some documents to better understand the situation and conduct oversight of Biden’s Department of Justice.

“The Department’s investigation of Hunter Biden, son of President Biden, raises the appearance of a conflict of interest that would necessitate special counsel protections and authorities,” Chairman Jordan notes in his letter to Garland. “However, to date, you have declined to appoint a special counsel in this matter, despite appointing special counsels in other investigations.”

As noted, there’s a special counsel to investigate Joe Biden’s sticky fingers when it came to classified documents from his time as vice president and a U.S. senator — so why not a special counsel to investigate his son?
