Don’t Let the Atomic Weapons Fool You. America Is a Third World Country.

. . .Don’t let the industrial prowess and atomic weapons fool you. Haiti and Honduras have nothing on the USA regarding a legal system that the ruling party hurls like a harpoon at its opponents and holsters on behalf of its friends.

Masons should chisel quotation marks around the words in marble above the entrance to the U.S. Supreme Court. “Equal Justice Under Law” is now purely sarcastic.

Consider the radically different treatment afforded 2016’s presidential nominees.

Republican Donald J. Trump is in a heap of trouble, thanks to Manhattan Democratic District Attorney Alvin Bragg. On Tuesday, Bragg indicted Trump on 34 felony counts of first-degree falsification of business records. . .

So, what punishment did Hillary Clinton endure for funneling six figures to her lawyers to smear Trump, sway the 2016 election, and then shroud her evil with bogus bookkeeping? (Read more from “Don’t Let the Atomic Weapons Fool You. America Is a Third World Country.” HERE)

Arms Dealer Viktor Bout Urges Trump to Seek Refuge in Russia as His Life Is ‘in Peril’

Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout, freed from a U.S. jail last year, on Friday urged U.S. ex-president Donald Trump to seek refuge in Russia as his life was “in peril.”

Bout, also known as the “Merchant of Death,” was swapped for U.S. basketball star Brittney Griner in a high-profile prisoner exchange between Moscow and Washington in December.

“I believe your life is in peril,” Bout wrote in a telegram sent to Trump and shown to the press in Moscow.

“The Biden administration will not stop just by dragging you through the court/prison industrial complex,” he said, referring to Trump’s successor Joe Biden.

“They would sooner end your life than let you stand in their way.”

Bout told Trump, whom he has long admired, that he would find a “safe haven and from here you can lead the fight for the American people.” (Read more from “Arms Dealer Viktor Bout Urges Trump to Seek Refuge in Russia as His Life Is ‘in Peril'” HERE)

Donald Trump: ‘Almost $10 Million Raised for the Campaign’ in Wake of Indictment

Almost $10 million was raised for former President Donald Trump’s campaign in the wake of his indictment, Trump announced on Truth Social this week.

Citing his rising poll numbers and the influx of campaign donations, Trump wrote:

As much as I can enjoy a day like Tuesday, where the Radical Left Lunatics, Maniacs, and Perverts had me Indicted and ARRESTED for no reason whatsoever, there was no Crime, it was an unbelievable experience, perhaps the Best Day in History for somebody who had just suffered Unjustifiable Indictment!

“My Poll Numbers have never been better, almost $10 Million was raised for the Campaign and, the day was capped off with a very important Speech. If we don’t stop the Radical Left, America is DEAD!” he exclaimed:

Biden Blames Trump for Messy Afghanistan Withdrawal — Then Sneaks Away to Camp David

The White House Thursday released its first after-action review of the disastrous 2021 US withdrawal from Afghanistan – without taking responsibility for its role in the rushed evacuation mission blighted by the deaths of 13 US service members and hundreds of Afghans in an ISIS suicide bombing.

As National Security Council spokesman John Kirby took questions from reporters about the 12-page document — released moments before he met the media — President Biden himself slipped out the front door of the White House to a waiting helicopter, departing Washington to spend the Easter holiday weekend at Camp David.

The review blames former President Donald Trump’s administration for pledging to the Taliban that the US would leave Afghanistan by May 2021 as part of the Doha agreement — a move that supposedly left his successor no option but to pull American forces out. In fact, the deal also gave the US the right to withdraw from the accord if Afghan peace talks failed — which they did.

“During the transition from the Trump Administration to the Biden administration, the outgoing administration provided no plans for how to conduct the final withdrawal or to evacuate Americans and Afghan allies,” the document states. “There were no such plans in place when President Biden came into office, even with the agreed-upon full withdrawal just over three months away.” (Read more from “Biden Blames Trump for Messy Afghanistan Withdrawal — Then Sneaks Away to Camp David” HERE)

Trump Leads Ron DeSantis by 8% In First Iowa Head-To-Head Poll Post-Arrest

Former President Donald Trump still leads the Republican field in Iowa, according to the first poll taken in the Hawkeye State following Trump’s indictment by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

The J.L. Partners survey shared exclusively with The Post Thursday showed the 76-year-old leading his main prospective rival, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, 47% to 39% among registered Republicans in a hypothetical head-to-head matchup — with 15% still undecided.

In a six-person GOP field that includes DeSantis, former Vice President Mike Pence, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, the 45th president receives 41% support, followed by DeSantis on 26%.

The pair are followed by Haley on 5% and Pence and Pompeo on 3% each, while entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy and Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin each garner 1%.

One-fifth of those polled said they would either back another candidate or were undecided, with 14% saying the latter. (Read more from “Trump Leads Ron DeSantis by 8% In First Iowa Head-To-Head Poll Post-Arrest” HERE)

You Won’t Believe the Most Outrageous Claim in the Trump Indictment

The Donald Trump indictment is our Late Roman Republic cirque du jour, and until now I’ve recused myself from writing about it. I had to wait for that one tiny detail to emerge, that one giant tell, so absurd that it required the special attention of the man who invented drunkblogging. . .

To see that absurdity in all its slimy glory, we must venture now to the pages of POLITICO, the semi-official mouthpiece of all goodthinking Outer Party swamp-dwellers.

“The statement of facts [Manhattan District Attorney Alvin] Bragg filed along with the indictment makes a surprising claim,” and when Gerstein describes it as “surprising,” what I took away from it was “gob-smackingly stupid.” The problem, you see, is “that Trump and his associates engaged in deception by paying New York state more in taxes than it was owed.”

Trump cheated on his taxes by paying too much in taxes? What was he supposed to be distracting us from — that Orange Man Bad because Orange Man Bad? . . .

So if you want to know why Bragg is trying to smear Trump as a tax cheat without actually charging him as a tax cheat, now you know. It’s all smoke and mirrors. (Read more from “You Won’t Believe the Most Outrageous Claim in the Trump Indictment” HERE)

Why Stormy Daniels Was Just Ordered to Pay Donald Trump $122K

Adult film star Stormy Daniels was in the news quite a bit this week, especially on Tuesday, as former President Donald Trump was formally processed and arraigned in a Manhattan courthouse on 34 charges related to allegedly improper hush money payments to Daniels and another woman during the 2016 presidential campaign.

But, in something of a strange twist of fate, Tuesday also put Daniels’ name — legally Stephanie Clifford — in the news when the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled against Daniels and ordered her to reimburse Trump for $121,972.56 worth of legal fees.

The 9th Circuit’s order explains:

Under the Texas Citizens Participation Act (TCPA), Tex. Civ. Prac. & Rem. Code § 27.009(a)(1), attorneys’ fees in the amount of $121,972.56 are awarded in favor of appellee Donald J. Trump and against appellant Stephanie Clifford.

Chinese Regime-Approved Social Media Says Trump Arrest Could Lead to U.S. ‘Civil War’

Chinese Communist Party censors allowed users on its state-controlled site Weibo to comment extensively on the arrest of American former President Donald Trump on Tuesday, resulting in many cheering on the decline of the United States and predicting a civil war.

Trump was arrested and arraigned in Manhattan on Tuesday, indicted on 34 charges of fabricating business documents. The charges stem from alleged money paid to adult film star Stormy Daniels, according to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. During remarks late Tuesday, Bragg claimed that the alleged fabrications were related to attempts to “cover up crimes relating to the 2016 election.” . . .

Weibo, the most popular Chinese regime-approved social media site in the country, had the news of Trump’s arrest on its front page as of Wednesday morning Eastern time, flooded with thousands of user comments. As the Chinese government strictly censors any content it considers contrary to Communist Party ideology or the interests of dictator Xi Jinping, observers can consider the thousands of reactions to Trump’s arrest still publicly available to be consistent with Beijing’s stance. Many of the comments furthermore echoed propaganda in the pages of the Global Times and Xinhua News Agency, two of China’s biggest government-run propaganda sites. . .

Other comments on the Weibo page included users joking that America would not exist after 136 years and mocking Trump with the nickname “Comrade Jianguo,” which emerged during Trump’s presidency. The nickname, which means “build the country,” is meant to mock Trump by claiming that his American policies are hurting the United States and thus helping China progress.

Yet other users claimed that Trump’s arrest was a sign of the “Koreanization” of American politics, an apparent reference to the fact that South Korea has prosecuted multiple recent presidents, most prominently conservative ex-President Park Geun-hye. Park was sentenced to 24 years in prison in 2018 for, among other allegations, allowing a high-ranking member of a cult access to sensitive national security addresses. Leftist President Moon Jae-in pardoned Park in 2021. (Read more from “Chinese Propaganda Says Trump Arrest Could Lead to U.S. ‘Civil War’” HERE)
