Trump: People Are Refusing Vaccine Because They ‘Don’t Trust the Election Results’

Former President Donald Trump claimed on Sunday that one of the reasons some people are unwilling to take the COVID-19 vaccine is because they “don’t trust the Election results” from November 2020.

The former president’s comments come after President Joe Biden’s administration failed to meet its vaccination goal to ensure 70% of the nation’s adults receive at least one shot by July 4. Still, 161 million people are fully vaccinated and 68% of adults have received at least one dose, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Trump has touted his administration did a “great job” in regard to handling the coronavirus pandemic through programs like Operation Warp Speed, which saw vaccine development and disbursement happen in record time. While he has encouraged people to get vaccinated, a large group of his supporters has erred on the side of caution surrounding the COVID-19 jabs.

“Joe Biden kept talking about how good of a job he’s doing on the distribution of the Vaccine … He’s not doing well at all,” Trump wrote in a tweemail, adding, “He’s way behind schedule, and people are refusing to take the Vaccine because they don’t trust his Administration, they don’t trust the Election results and they certainly don’t trust the Fake News, which is refusing to tell the Truth.” (Read more from “Trump: People Are Refusing Vaccine Because They ‘Don’t Trust the Election Results'” HERE)

Tucker: Why Is Mark Milley Still in Command of U.S. Military? (VIDEO)

[Transcript:]

TUCKER CARLSON, FOX NEWS HOST: Good evening and welcome to TUCKER CARLSON TONIGHT. . .

Now, we know that Mark Milley himself is the sort of person who considers military coups entirely within the realm of possibility. A new book written by reporters at “The Washington Post” who cover Mark Milley reveals that the current Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff is a legitimate extremist. He is the last person you would give power to if you could possibly help it.

In the book, Milley describes Donald Trump and the millions of people who supported him as the moral equivalent of Adolf Hitler. As thousands of Trump supporters peacefully gathered in Washington for what they assumed was a constitutionally protected political rally, the kind we’ve had for hundreds of years, shortly after the election, Milley likened them to brown shirts. That is the paramilitary wing of the Nazi Party.

Trump’s complaints about voter fraud, Milley explained to his advisers out loud were actually calls for genocide. “This is a Reichstag moment,” Milley said. “The gospel of the Fuhrer.” Those are quotes. Think about that.

So, your grandfather joined the U.S. military to go overseas to risk his life to fight the Nazis. Now, the head of the U.S. military calls you a Nazi for having your grandfather’s political views. What do you think of that? Keep in mind that Mark Milley is a man the media tells us is a deep intellectual, someone who reads books and stuff, not just Wikipedia.

Report: Mike Pence and Benjamin Netanyahu Pushed Donald Trump To Bomb Iran After Losing the Election

Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley was reportedly worried that Donald Trump might declare war on Iran as part of a last-ditch attempt to overturn his election loss, according to a New Yorker report on Thursday.

Miley was “engaged in an alarmed effort to ensure that Trump did not embark on a military conflict with Iran as part of his quixotic campaign to overturn the results of the 2020 election and remain in power,” journalist Susan B. Glasser wrote. “Trump had a circle of Iran hawks around him and was close with the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu,” she continued, “who was also urging the Administration to act against Iran after it was clear that Trump had lost the election.” . . .

During one meeting in which the president was not present, Milley pressed former Vice President Mike Pence on “why they were so intent on attacking [Iran].”

Pence reportedly answered: “Because they are evil.” . . .

Last month, the New York Times revealed that in early 2020 Netanyahu had given the former president a “hit list” of Iranian targets for him to consider. One of these targets, a suspected nuclear production plant, was in fact the very factory that the U.S. attacked with a drone strike in June. Trump Gives an All-Time Statement in Response to Coup Allegations

Former President Donald Trump pushed back Thursday against accusations he wanted to launch a coup, rebutting alleged claims from the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Gen. Mark Milley.

“I never threatened, or spoke about, to anyone, a coup of our Government,” Trump said. “So ridiculous! Sorry to inform you, but an Election is my form of ‘coup,’ and if I was going to do a coup, one of the last people I would want to do it with is General Mark Milley. He got his job only because the world’s most overrated general, James Mattis, could not stand him, had no respect for him, and would not recommend him.”

Trump said he lost all respect for Milley after they went to St. John’s Church.

“Milley choked like a dog in front of the Fake News when they told him they thought he should not have been walking with the President, which turned out to be incorrect. He apologized profusely, making it a big story, instead of saying I am proud to walk with and protect the President of the United States. Had he said that, it would have all been over, no big deal, but I saw at that moment he had no courage or skill, certainly not the type of person I would be talking ‘coup’ with.”

“I’m not into coups!” Trump continued. (Read more from “Trump Gives an All-Time Statement in Response to Coup Allegations” HERE)

PA Lawmaker Claims Barr Ordered Him To Ignore Voter Fraud Allegations

In a letter written by a former federal prosecutor in Pennsylvania and cited by President Trump, the attorney said AG Barr ordered him to pass 2020 election allegations to the PA state Attorney General John Shapiro, an outspoken Democrat. Shapiro himself was up for re-election in 2020.

William McSwain, U.S. attorney of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, wrote to Trump regarding his discontent with instructions he received from Attorney General Bill Barr, the Washington Examiner reports.

“On Election Day and afterwards, our Office received various allegations of voter fraud and election irregularities,” the letter reads. “As part of my responsibilities as U.S. Attorney, I wanted to be transparent with the public and, of course, investigate fully any allegations. Attorney General Barr, however, instructed me not to make any public statements or put out any press releases regarding possible election irregularities. I was also given a directive to pass along serious allegations to the State Attorney General for investigation – the same State Attorney General who had already declared that you could not win.” (Read more from “PA Lawmaker Claims Barr Ordered Him To Ignore Voter Fraud Allegations” HERE)

WATCH: Trump Rips Biden, Big Tech and Critical Race Theory at CPAC; 2024 Preview? Governor Seems To Throw Shade During Speech

By New York Post. Former President Donald Trump delivered a blistering rebuke of President Biden, Big Tech, critical race theory, the media and other targets during a fiery keynote speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Sunday.

From the stage in Dallas, he called Texas conservatives some of his “staunchest and fiercest supporters,” and vowed to continue fighting for the GOP.

“I’m thrilled to be back in the heart of Texas,” Trump told the crowd. “For a year before the election, the fake news media said Texas was in play. It’s in play. You know what in play means like it’s close.

“And they were right, except it was only in play for me,” he said. “For me and you, actually.”

Trump was interrupted at the start by chants of “USA” from the packed conference, which was titled “America Uncanceled 2021.”

2024 Preview? Governor Seems To Throw Shade During CPAC Speech

By Daily Caller. Republican South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem accused some Republican governors Sunday of “rewriting history” in how they reflect on their performance during the COVID-19 pandemic.

It appeared Noem was likely referring to Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis, among others. DeSantis issued a stay-at-home order for Florida on April 1 of last year, lifting it almost a month later on April 29. He removed all restrictions on businesses the following September. Noem, by contrast, was one of seven GOP governors who never issued a shutdown order for their states.

“Let’s talk about rewriting history. We’ve got Republican Governors across this country pretending they didn’t shut down their states, that they didn’t close their beaches, that they didn’t mandate masks, that they didn’t issue shelter-in-places,” Noem said while speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Dallas.

Both DeSantis and Noem have received praise from conservatives for their opposition to the strict COVID-19 orders imposed in states like New York and California, as well as for opening up schools in September. (Read more from “2024 Preview? Governor Seems To Throw Shade During CPAC Speech” HERE)

GOP War Rages and Centrists Hit Pro-Trump ‘Wackadoodles’

The internal Republican Party war continues to be red-hot between the pro-Trump and anti-Trump camps.

As Donald Trump’s supporters, including Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, Matt Gaetz, and Paul Gosar ride high with the former president’s supporters, former centrist GOP House members slammed them as “fringe” politicians.

Former Rep. Charlie Dent said that, in the past, these were “people who show up at a state party convention and you know they’d be kind of sitting out there, behind one of those stands, and you kind of ignore them. You laugh at them. You walk by.”

Now, said Dent, who retired in 2018, “some of these people [are] on the stage.” He called them “wackadoodles.”

Former Virginia Rep. Barbara Comstock, who lost in the anti-Trump 2018 midterm elections, referred to the Trump loyalists as stupid and idiots. “They so many say so many stupid things every day,” she said, referring to Greene, Boebert, Gaetz, and Gosar. Actor: Pandemic Felt Like Trump ‘Gunning Down’ People from ‘Turret at the White House’

Actor and activist Sean Penn declared the Trump administration’s coronavirus policies were no better than “gunning down” vulnerable communities “from a turret at the White House” at the Cannes Film Festival.

Speaking at the French film festival about his new film, Flag Day, Penn told the media of his efforts to continue observing coronavirus protocols as he filmed the movie. He also spoke about his efforts to sponsor vaccination and testing facilities in underserved communities.

Penn slammed officials who pushed what he deemed to be “misinformation,” and the actor and director had particularly harsh words for the Trump administration.

“We were — not only as a country but as a world – let down and openly neglected, misinformed. We had truth and reason assaulted under what was in all terms an obscene administration,” he exclaimed.

Penn went on to claim without giving examples that Trump’s policies were no less than murderous, saying, “when my team and I would come home from test and vaccinations sites at night, particularly during testing under Trump, to maddening news — it felt like someone with a machine gun gunning down communities that were most vulnerable from a turret at the White House.” (Read more from “Actor: Pandemic Felt Like Trump ‘Gunning Down’ People from ‘Turret at the White House’” HERE)

Trump Celebrates the ‘Lamestream’ Media’s Low Approval Ratings

Former President Donald Trump boasted about his contribution to the liberal media’s decline in approval ratings Sunday.

“I am proud to inform you that the Lamestream Media has hit the lowest approval ratings ever recorded. I think it would be fair to assume that I had something to do with that,” the former president said in a statement. “They are not only dishonest and corrupt, they are truly, according to a recent poll, the enemy of the people.”

A Hill-Harris X poll published July 2 showed that one-third of Americans view the media as the “enemy of the people.” Media coverage of Trump had been overwhelmingly negative, with 92% of the press giving the former president negative coverage in May.

Trump ripped CNN and MSNBC’s “record low” approval ratings saying it is “great news” for Americans. (Read more from “Trump Celebrates the ‘Lamestream’ Media’s Low Approval Ratings” HERE)
