President Trump Nominated for 2021 Nobel Peace Prize

President Donald Trump has been nominated for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize for helping to broker peace between Israel and the United Arab Emirates – and immediately went on a Twitter spree of self-congratulation Wednesday.

He was nominated by Christian Tybring-Gjedde, an ultra-conservative member of the Norwegian Parliament, who praised Trump for brokering a deal in which the UAE and Israel agreed to establish diplomatic ties and trade links and allow free travel between their countries for the first time.

Tybring-Gjedde is an immigration skeptic who previously nominated Trump in 2018 for his meeting with Kim Jong-Un in Singapore. Trump lost and the prize went to Nadia Murad, a Yazidi who survive ISIS in Iraq and now campaigns against sexual violence in war.

Insisting he is not a Trump supporter, he said: ‘For his merit, I think he has done more trying to create peace between nations than most other Peace Prize nominees,’ Tybring-Gjedde said to Fox News.

‘The people who have received the Peace Prize in recent years have done much less than Donald Trump. For example, Barack Obama did nothing.’ (Read more from “President Trump Nominated for 2021 Nobel Peace Prize” HERE)

Vindman, Not Whistleblower, Was Driving Force Behind Trump Impeachment

. . .It turns out that the heated discussion over the whistleblower, who was previously identified by Real Clear Investigations as the CIA’s Eric Ciaramella, was a diversion from allowing the American people to understand who was the actual instigator of the failed effort to oust President Donald Trump from office.

Rather than being a witness who independently supported the claims of the whistleblower, the National Security Council’s Lt. Col Alex Vindman was the driving force behind the entire operation, according to the book’s interviews with key figures in the impeachment probe and other evidence. The whistleblower’s information came directly from Vindman, investigators determined.

“Vindman was the person on the call who went to the whistleblower after the call, to give the whistleblower the information he needed to file his complaint,” said Rep. Lee Zeldin, R-N.Y.

“For all intents and purposes, Vindman is the whistleblower here, but he was able to get somebody else to do his dirty work for him,” explained one senior congressional aide.

Vindman was the only person at the National Security Council (NSC) listening in on the infamous call between President Donald Trump and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky to be concerned by it. Vindman immediately began talking to his identical twin brother Lt. Col. Yevgeny Vindman, who also worked at the NSC. The twins both complained to NSC Counsel John Eisenberg. Alex Vindman talked about it with his direct supervisor Tim Morrison, who was also on the call. He talked about it with another NSC lawyer, Michael Ellis. Trump Voters Are Staying Silent Again This Year

Trump voters appear to be hiding their vote again this election cycle.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 17% of Likely U.S. Voters who Strongly Approve of the job President Trump is doing say they are less likely to let others know how they intend to vote in the upcoming election. By comparison, just half as many (8%) of those who Strongly Disapprove of the president’s performance say the same.

Fifty-nine percent (59%) of those who Strongly Approve are More Likely to tell others whom they plan to vote for compared to previous presidential campaigns. But that compares to 66% of voters who Strongly Disapprove. . .

A similar but narrower gap is evident between the two parties. Sixteen percent (16%) of Republicans are less likely to tell others how they intend to vote, compared to 12% of Democrats. Fifty-seven percent (57%) of GOP voters and 60% of Democrats are more likely to tell this year.

At this time in the 2016 election cycle with Trump already being regularly bashed by the media, his supporters were similarly less forthcoming about how they intended to vote, and pollsters, with the exception of Rasmussen Reports and a couple others, completely missed Trump’s surprise victory. President Trump Goes off on NY Dems After Top Police Officials Resign

President Trump tore into New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Rochester’s mayor on Tuesday after the city’s police chief and several of the department’s highest-ranking officers resigned amid outrage over the death of Daniel Prude. . .

Chief La’Ron Singletary announced that he would retire after 20 years on the force, according to a news release from the department. He described the events of the past week as “an attempt to destroy my character and integrity.”

The sudden retirement of Singletary — as well as Deputy Chief Joseph Morabito and Commander Fabian Rivera — comes three days after the state attorney general announced that she will impanel a grand jury to investigate the death of Prude.

Prude, a Black man, died of “complications of asphyxia in the setting of physical restraint” after a “spit hood” was put over his head as he was taken into police custody. . .

Police said the officers placed a spit hood on Prude because he said he had COVID-19. (Read more from “President Trump Goes off on NY Dems After Top Police Officials Resign” HERE)

WATCH: Biden Claims President Trump Is Attempting to Defund Police

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden tried to make the case that it is President Trump who wants to defund the nation’s police departments while he was being interviewed by ABC27. . .

“You watch the ads, I’m sure you’ve seen them although a lot of Pennsylvanians are seeing because there’s a lot of ads out there right now. They would say that you want to defund the police, it seems to be trying to frighten some folks, so can you set the record straight on that?” an ABC27 reporter asked Biden.

“I not only want to defund the police, I’m the one calling for $300 million more for local police, for community policing. I also think we should add social workers and psychologists to help police on 911 calls,” Biden said. “The only person calling to defund the police is Donald Trump. Look at his budget. He calls for cutting police funding for local — state and local help by $400 million. Once again, he’s pathological.”

WATCH: John Bolton Delivers Ultimate Blow to the Atlantic’s Fake News Piece on President Trump

. . .With all [the] bad blood between them, there would be no reason for [John] Bolton to defend the president, yet even he said The Atlantic’s story claiming the president called fallen soldiers “losers” is “simply false.”

“According to what that article said, the president made disparaging remarks about our soldiers, the people buried at the Aisne-Marne cemetery in connection with the decision for him not to go to the ceremony that was planned that afternoon and that was simply false,” he told Fox News’s Martha MacCallum. “I don’t know who told the author that, but that was false and I recount that in my book “The Room Where it Happened” and reaffirmed that in response to questions the next day.”

Trump’s Black Voter Boom ‘Could Potentially Cost’ Biden the Election

Polls showing consistent black voter support for President Trump at levels higher than those of previous Republican candidates may cost Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden the election. Biden’s backing from this key voting group is less than it was for 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and former President Barack Obama.

In surveys of black voters, pollster John Zogby pegged support for Trump from black voters at 14%. For Biden, he said that support from black voters was between 77% and 81%.

“The numbers from likely black voters are nowhere near where they should be as they fall well below 90%,” he said in his new report in Main St. – K St. IntelligenSEER.

He added, “This alone could potentially cost Biden the election.” (Read more from “Trump’s Black Voter Boom ‘Could Potentially Cost’ Biden the Election” HERE)

MASSIVE SURGE: Democrats Dominate Mail-In Ballot Requests in Key Swing States

After five months of tweets and soundbites from President Trump warning that voting by mail will lead to a “rigged election” and “massive voter fraud,” a clear partisan divide is forming among those participating in that process.

Election officials in key general election battleground states are noticing a surge of requests for absentee ballots by Democrats – upending a trend of Republicans in some crucial states typically dominating voting by absentee ballot through the mail.

In North Carolina, which last Friday became the first state to start sending out general election ballots to registered voters who requested them, more than three times as many Democrats than Republicans have sought ballots so far. . .

In Florida – the largest of the crucial swing states – 47.5% of requests for ballots have come from Democrats and only 32% from Republicans. It’s a similar story in Pennsylvania – another key battleground state – where ballot requests by Democrats are nearly triple those of Republicans.

In Ohio, half of ballot requests so far have come from Democrats, with 38% coming from Republicans. In Wisconsin, right now an equal amount of Democrats and Republicans have requested ballots. Michigan currently appears to be the only key state where Republicans have the edge over Democrats in absentee ballot requests. Trump Accuses Pentagon Leaders of Wanting to ‘Fight Wars’ to Make Defense Companies Rich

President Donald Trump blasted the Pentagon’s leadership on Monday for allegedly caring about defense industry more than U.S. service members.

“I’m not saying the military’s in love with me – the soldiers are,” the president said at a White House news conference. “The top people in the Pentagon probably aren’t because they want to do nothing but fight wars so that all of those wonderful companies that make the bombs and make the planes and make everything else stay happy.”

Trump also said that his desire to withdraw all U.S. troops from Syria now that the Islamic State no longer holds any territory has put him at odds with military leaders.

“I said: That’s good; let’s bring our soldiers back home,” Trump said. “Some people don’t like to come home. Some people like to continue to spend money.” (Read more from “Trump Accuses Pentagon Leaders of Wanting to ‘Fight Wars’ to Make Defense Companies Rich” HERE)

Trump Wants to Use $300 Billion for Stimulus Checks

President Donald Trump is ready to send out stimulus checks to millions of people, but on Friday he rejected the possibility of undocumented immigrants receiving a payment.

Undocumented immigrants were largely ineligible for the first round of economic impact payments, a provision Democrats sought to correct with a relief package of their own. Under the HEROES Act, which passed the House in May, certain undocumented immigrants would be eligible for the second round, as well as a retroactive payment from the CARES Act that passed in March.

Trump told reporters during Friday’s briefing that the government has $300 billion that he’s willing to use for another round of stimulus checks. But payments won’t be given to “illegal aliens.”

“They came into the country illegally, and now we give them a check?” Trump said. “We want to give the checks to the American people.” (Read more from “Trump Wants to Use $300 Billion for Stimulus Checks” HERE)
