Now Even CNN Agrees That a Majority of Americans Do Not Believe Elections Reflect the Will of the People

An increasing majority of Americans lack confidence that elections in America today reflected the will of the people, and about half think it likely that a future election in the United States will be overturned for partisan reasons, according to a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS.

There’s been a shift in the partisan dynamic driving concerns about the possibility of an overturned future election. While the 50% overall who considered such a prospect at least somewhat likely was similar to the 51% who felt that way in September, Democrats were now more apt to see an overturned election in the future than Republicans. In the new poll, 56% of Democrats saw it as likely vs. 48% of Republicans. In September, 57% of Republicans thought that was likely while just 49% of Democrats agreed.

Also in the new poll, 56% of respondents said they have little or no confidence that American elections reflect the will of the people, up from 52% who felt that way in September and 40% in January 2021. Almost three-quarters of Republicans were now skeptical that elections are representative (74%), as were 59% of independents, and only a third of Democrats (32%). The results reflected a significant decline in confidence over the past year among both independents (45% lacked confidence in January 2021) and Democrats (9% felt that way a year ago). Poll: Election-Fraud Concerns Could Reduce GOP Turnout

A new poll of Republican and Trump voters indicates a profound lack of confidence in election integrity that some prognosticators believe could dampen voter turnout.

Only 32% of Republican and Trump voters believe votes across the nation were counted accurately in the 2020 elections, according to the survey conducted by Echelon Insights and commissioned by the Center for Election Innovation & Research, or CEIR.

CEIR’s founder and executive director, David Becker, attributed the skepticism to Republicans being swayed by “the constant lies about election rigging and stolen votes.”

Regardless of whether or not Becker is right about the 2020 election, the poll found that one of six Republican voters say they are less likely to vote in the midterms unless “forensic audits” are conducted.

Mike Lindell Wants To Crush Dominion’s Defamation Lawsuit, Arguing the Voting Tech Company Is a Government Official – Legal Experts Say He Has a Point

In August, lawyers for Mike Lindell’s pillow company raised a legal argument that could deal a blow to a $1.3 billion defamation lawsuit brought by Dominion Voting Systems.

Lawyers for MyPillow argue that, since Dominion develops technology used in elections, it’s effectively a government official. And since government officials need to clear a high bar to win defamation lawsuits, they argue the lawsuit can’t stand.

“At the heart of this case is the scope of an American citizen’s right to criticize how his government handles the counting of votes,” MyPillow’s lawyers write. “Were electronic voting systems used in the November 2020 election hacked and manipulated? Plaintiff Dominion’s billion-dollar defamation lawsuits and related public attacks against MyPillow and numerous others are an effort to choke off public discussion of these foundational political issues.” . . .

These Eight States Have Already Made Universal Mail-In Ballots Permanent

Eight states have permanently adopted universal mail-in ballots for coming elections.

California on Monday became the latest — and the largest — state to adopt the mail-in ballot system. Now, every single eligible voter in California will be mailed ballots for elections without asking for one. . .

NCSL highlighted the following earlier this year:

Five states—Colorado, Hawaii, Oregon, Utah and Washington—allow all elections to be conducted by mail.

Three states—California, Nebraska and North Dakota—permit counties to opt into conducting elections by mail.

Ten states allow specific small elections to be conducted by mail. [Alaska, Arizona, California, Florida, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, Montana, New Mexico, and Wyoming]

Arizona 2020 Vote Audit Finds Potentially Election-Shifting Numbers of Illegal Ballots

By The Federalist. On Friday, the Arizona State Senate released the final reports on the results of the Maricopa County Forensic Election Audit. While the reports made several significant findings supporting former President Trump’s complaints about the 2020 election, the corporate media ignored those aspects of the audit to focus instead only on the results of the hand recount. . .

Left unmentioned, however, were the numerous findings of problems with the election and, most significantly, evidence indicating tens of thousands of ballots were illegally cast or counted. A report entitled “Compliance with Election Laws and Procedures,” issued by Senate Audit Liaison Ken Bennett, highlighted several issues, of which two were particularly significant because of the number of votes involved.

First, Bennett excerpted the Arizona statutory provisions governing early ballots. Those provisions require early ballots to be accompanied by a signed affidavit in which the voter declares he is registered in the appropriate county and has not already voted. The statute further mandates that a voter “make and sign the affidavit,” and directs the early election board to check the voter’s affidavit.

Significantly, “if the affidavit is insufficient, the vote shall not be allowed.” The secretary of state’s Election Procedures Manual reinforces this point, stating: “If the early ballot affidavit is not signed, the County Recorder shall not count the ballot.”

In his report, Bennett noted that “while the Audit scope of work did not include comparing signatures with voter registration records for each voter, it did identify a number of missing signatures on ballot envelop affidavits, which to the extent the ballots in such envelopes were tallied, would violate the above statutes and procedures.” (Read more from “Arizona 2020 Vote Audit Finds Potentially Election-Shifting Numbers of Illegal Ballots” HERE)

Democrats’ Voting Rights Bill Boosted by Liberal Dark Money Group Financed by Foreign National

A dark money group funded by a Swiss billionaire foreign national is spending heavily to lobby moderate Democrats to support voting rights legislation that Republicans have railed against as another election power grab by Democrats, filings show.

Between 2019 and 2021, the Sixteen Thirty Fund paid more than $750,000 to lobby groups working to sway senators on voting rights legislation, documents show.

Sixteen Thirty Fund, which operates as a 501(c)(4) nonprofit, is a dark money group that directs money from donors to projects that it sponsors, effectively allowing the funding sources to remain anonymous. It acts as a fiscal sponsor for more than 50 groups that lack tax-exempt status or do not exist as separately incorporated entities.

The nonprofit incubator is closely tied to Arabella Advisors, a firm that advises donors and nonprofits about where to give money. It was founded by former Clinton administration appointee Eric Kessler, who serves as the president and chair of Sixteen Thirty Fund.

Arabella Advisors provides “business and administrative services” to the nonprofit, including offering “the systems and services to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations related to charitable solicitation and provides HR, legal, payroll and other administrative functions,” according to a recent tax filing. Arizona Election Audit Results To Be Released Next Week

The long-awaited results of the audit of 2020 presidential election race results in Maricopa County, Arizona, are to be released Sept. 24.

Democrats in the state have been in a panic ever since the GOP-run state Senate launched the review last spring.

Report: Video Coming That Reveals Georgia’s ‘Ballot Traffickers’

. . .Now comes a charge that the problem could have been even worse: “Ballot traffickers” who traveled the state on election night emptying backpacks stuffed with ballots into drop boxes – all while wearing gloves.

The issue was raised by radio host John Fredericks, who said it was brought to his attention by Heather Mullins from Real Americas Voice. . .

“There are basically about 240 what I’m gonna call ballot traffickers in Georgia. What they did is went around to the drop boxes all over the state with each of them averaging about 24 drop boxes. … They would go there in the middle of the night and empty backpacks with gloves on, into these drop boxes,” he explained.

He said such ballot “harvesting” would be totally illegal in Georgia.

By WND. . .Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has confirmed his state alone has some 500 election fraud cases pending.

His state, by the way, is working on new election integrity laws, too, as several other states already have adopted, drawing the wrath of President Biden’s attorney general, Merrick Garland.

Paxton confirmed Texas “will prosecute voter fraud every time we find it.”

Maricopa County Says Voting Machines Subpoenaed for 2020 Election Audit Won’t Be Used in Future

By Washington Examiner. Voting machines subpoenaed by the Republican-led Arizona Senate for its audit of the 2020 election will be removed from service, Maricopa County officials announced on Monday.

Maricopa County Attorney Allister Adel responded to a May 20 letter from Arizona’s Democratic Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, who advised the county to replace its voting machines over concerns the review compromised their “security and integrity.” The audit included the capturing of information from the equipment leased from Dominion Voting Systems, a voting machine company that has faced and engaged in litigation to fight a wave of election fraud claims.

“The voters of Maricopa County can rest assured, the County will never use equipment that could pose a risk to free and fair elections. The County recognizes Secretary Hobbs’ authority under A.R.S. § 16-442 to certify equipment for use in Arizona’s elections. As a result, the County will not use the subpoenaed equipment in any future elections,” the county said in a statement on Monday.

“Maricopa County noted this potential risk in February when it asked the court for guidance on the Senate subpoenas. Since then, the County has implemented back up plans that include acquiring new tabulation equipment for the March and May jurisdictional elections in 2021,” the statement added. Report: William Barr Called Former President Trump’s Election Fraud Claims ‘Bullsh*t’

By Breitbart. Former Attorney General William Barr reportedly described former President Donald Trump’s claims about election fraud as “bullshit,” according to a book on the final days of his administration.

The disclosure is from the book titled Betrayal by ABC News chief Washington correspondent Jonathan Karl that is scheduled to be released in November, according to the Hill. . .

“My attitude was: It was put-up or shut-up time,” Barr reportedly told Karl. “If there was evidence of fraud, I had no motive to suppress it. But my suspicion all the way along was that there was nothing there. It was all bulls**t.”

Barr also looked into allegations that voting machines across the country were rigged to switch Trump votes to Biden votes. He received two briefings from cybersecurity experts at the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI. “We realized from the beginning it was just bulls**t,” Barr told me, noting that even if the machines somehow changed the count, it would show up when they were recounted by hand. “It’s a counting machine, and they save everything that was counted. So you just reconcile the two. There had been no discrepancy reported anywhere, and I’m still not aware of any discrepancy.”
