Representative Jamie Raskin (D-MD) claimed Friday on MSNBC’s “The ReidOut” that Elon Musk and President Donald Trump were conducting a “rapidly expanding and accelerating coup.”

Raskin said, “If the courts move with dispatch, they might be able to prevent a lot of damage from being inflicted. But nobody should normalize what’s going on here. We’ve got the wealthiest man in the world who cannot be president because he was born in apartheid South Africa and then made his way to Canada and then to America because he can’t be president, except if he can buy himself a de facto presidency by putting up hundreds of millions of dollars for Donald Trump. You know, TIME Magazine’s got him sitting in the Oval Office on their on the cover at the Resolute Desk, but he’s acting like he is president.”

Anti-Elon Rally Filled With Angry Lesbians, Deranged Libs, and Overall Strangeness

What the hell did I watch? If anything, the anti-Elon Musk rally last night proved two things: Trump derangement syndrome has been replaced by Elon Musk derangement syndrome. Second, the Democratic Party has no idea how to win elections. The reports of a rudderless, leaderless, and divided organization were confirmed last night. It also showed that they have no message other than ‘me no like this Trump administration,’ of which Elon Musk is a top agent of the president. His Department of Government Efficiency is wiping the table clean, exposing waste and fraud, and getting these lazy DC government workers to quit.

They already delivered a smackdown to legacy officials at the Treasury Department before Scott Bessent was confirmed as its next secretary. USAID has been virtually gutted, becoming absorbed into the State Department, where all overseas missions were ordered closed by Friday. The entire staff is slated to be furloughed this week. The CIA is also running scared, offering its entire workforce buyout options. The DOGE crew has accessed the Small Business Administration’s accounts, and Democrats cannot understand nor tolerate that the government doesn’t have to waste our tax dollars.

This rally was an aberrant event marked by whiny, deranged liberals, angry lesbians, and overall strangeness. Also, Chuck Schumer, stop trying to lead chants. It was painful to watch, but we also saw evidence of an armed rebellion. At least, that’s what I was told a few years ago regarding the new rules around this nonsense. Hundreds of protesters and a contingent of Democratic lawmakers rallied outside the Department of the Treasury in Washington on Tuesday, denouncing what they called Elon Musk’s “hostile takeover” of federal financial systems, as demonstrations spilled on to, and took over, the street outside the building.

The protests targeted reports of the “department of government efficiency” (Doge) team’s reported access to sensitive government financial data, including information related to social security payments, Medicare reimbursements, and tax refunds – systems that process trillions of dollars in annual transactions.

Musk Rips ‘Fraudulent’ Taxpayer Handouts as DOGE Team Uncovers Shady Financial Secrets

Tech billionaire Elon Musk ripped alleged “fraudulent” Treasury payments on Saturday as reports circulated that the Department of Government Efficiency has gained acces to the federal government’s payment system as the second Trump administration continues cutting what they say is government fat and overspending.

“The @DOGE team discovered, among other things, that payment approval officers at Treasury were instructed always to approve payments, even to known fraudulent or terrorist groups. They literally never denied a payment in their entire career. Not even once,” Musk, the chair of DOGE, posted early Saturday morning to X.

Musk’s post came just ahead of the New York Times reporting Saturday afternoon that Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent granted DOGE personnel access to the payment system. The Treasury spends roughly $6 trillion per year on payments for federal agencies.

The ranking Democrat on the Senate Finance Committee, Oregon Sen. Ron Wyden, posted to social media on Saturday that he has also been informed that DOGE was granted access to the system.

“Sources tell my office that Treasury Secretary Bessent has granted DOGE *full* access to this system. Social Security and Medicare benefits, grants, payments to government contractors, including those that compete directly with Musk’s own companies. Elon Musk has threatened to sue Tim Walz after the Minnesota governor said “of course” the billionaire did a Nazi salute at an inauguration rally for President Donald Trump.

Walz declared during an appearance on MSNBC on Tuesday, “We spent three days, you know, them trying to debate that President Musk gave a Nazi salute — of course he did!”‘

Also during his MSNBC appearance, Walz revealed that losing the 2024 election was “pure hell.”

“To the voters, I’m with this, too. Everybody’s fatigued. Trust me, I get it,” Walz told host Rachel Maddow. “It was pure hell, and the disappointment and the frustration, and I’m, you know, soul-searching — what could we have done to make the case? Because we knew this was coming. We knew the implication. And they’re throwing so much at us that we’re fatigued.” . . .

Musk replied to the post on the X social media platform by proclaiming he may bring a lawsuit against the former Democrat vice presidential nominee, “I think I will. ‘Bulls**t Game’: Joe Rogan Rips Into People Pretending ‘Everyone’s Hitler’

Podcast host Joe Rogan ripped into people who pretend that “everyone’s Hitler” on Wednesday, saying they’re “just broken.”

Following President Donald Trump’s inauguration on Monday, Department of Government Efficiency leader Elon Musk was criticized by corporate media for a one-arm gesture he made on stage, which some people said resembled a Nazi salute. On “The Joe Rogan Experience,” Rogan called out how people use former Nazi leader Adolf Hitler “as an excuse,” and said their ideology lets them say the “most awful things” about people with differing perspectives.

“You do anything you can to stop Hitler, right? This is why they want to conflate and they always want to pretend that everyone’s Hitler. The problem with that is, it just after a while, it’s crying wolf and people are like, ‘Oh, this is a bullshit game you’re playing, and you’re just using it as an excuse.’ Elon has talked about this a lot. He’s absolutely correct,” Rogan said.

“[It] is that people use woke ideology as an excuse to be an asshole, and it’s really just people that are assholes that are attaching themselves to things that make them feel righteous,” Rogan added. “So they wrap themselves in this idea to give them virtue and to allow them to say the most awful things about other people that have different perspectives. Then just by nature if you’re doing that you’re doing the wrong thing. You’re a bad person.”

Corporate media and Democrats circulated a clipped portion of Musk. A full clip, though, shows Musk raising his hand to the crowd while saying, “My heart goes out to you.” Rogan went on to call out those justifying their actions and comparing Musk to Hitler, adding that their stance will become “less and less effective.”

Vivek Ramaswamy Is Out at DOGE

Many saw this break-up coming, though I’m not sure they expected it to happen so soon. Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy were supposed to be co-leads to head the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Given their profiles, both men were likely never to work together for long.

Yet, it sounds like Vivek won’t be part of the DOGE revolution, reportedly rubbing the rank-and-file the wrong way and unwilling to do the heavy lifting behind the scenes. Hence, why Donald Trump and others have been trying to create new opportunities for him, like pressing Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine to name him to fill JD Vance’s empty Senate seat (via CBS News):

Vivek Ramaswamy, President-elect Donald Trump’s choice to co-lead the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) with entrepreneur Elon Musk, is expected to soon step away from the task force, CBS News has learned. Ramaswamy intends to announce a campaign for Ohio governor as soon as the end of January, multiple sources confirmed to CBS News.

Ramaswamy, 39, had no comment.

People close to Musk have privately undercut Ramaswamy for weeks, frustrated with his lack of participation in the heavy lifting, according to sources familiar with the internal dynamics. There has been friction between the incoming rank and file DOGE staff and Ramaswamy, the sources said, and Ramaswamy has been subtly encouraged to exit.

Elon Musk Says Now Is The Time To Make ‘Significant Changes’ To Federal Government

Elon Musk said Sunday during a victory rally for President-elect Donald Trump in Washington, D.C., that now was the time to make “significant changes” that would set the stage for centuries of American strength.

Musk made the comments after he was introduced by Trump in front of thousands of supporters at the Capital One Arena in D.C. Musk was a strong backer of Trump during the 2024 campaign and has been tasked with running an initiative called the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

“We’re looking forward to making a lot of changes, and this victory is the start,” Musk said. “What matters going forward is to actually make significant changes, cement those changes, and set the foundation for America to be strong for a century, for centuries, forever.”

Musk was joined on stage by his 4-year-old son X, who Musk described as “a very enthusiastic supporter” of Trump.

Steve Bannon Goes Berserk on Elon Musk, Vows to Drive Him Away From White House: ‘He Is a Truly Evil Guy’

. . . Steve Bannon went berserk on the world’s richest man and vowed to limit his White House influence [several days ago. He] suggested Musk “should go back to South Africa” and decried his stance on H1-B visas.

“I will have Elon Musk run out of here by Inauguration Day,” Bannon, told the Italian daily Corriere della Sera last week, per excerpts translated by his former employer Breitbart. “He will not have a blue pass to the White House, he will not have full access to the White House, he will be like any other person.”

“He is a truly evil guy, a very bad guy. I made it my personal thing to take this guy down,” he went on. “Before, because he put money in, I was prepared to tolerate it. I’m not prepared to tolerate it anymore.”

Last month, just before Christmas, a war erupted within the MAGA movement between the tech bros and immigration hardliners over H1-B visas, which permit foreign workers to come to the US for specialty occupations. . .

Elon Musk Demands Officials Look Into ‘Worst Mass Crime’ Against British People ‘Ever’

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk is throwing his weight behind growing calls in the United Kingdom for a new investigation into the scandal of child abuse by grooming gangs, going so far as to back calls for King Charles III to intervene.

“National inquiry now!” Musk stated on X on Friday, declaring the scandal “the worst mass crime against the people of Britain ever.”

The U.K. has for years been dealing with the revelation that a number of grooming gangs, often consisting of men of South Asian or British Pakistani heritage, exploited children for decades across the north of England in cities and towns including Rochdale, Telford, Manchester and Rotherham.

A 2014 independent review of grooming in Rotherham found that the majority of perpetrators were of Pakistani heritage and said that it was “hard to describe the appalling nature of the abuse that child victims suffered.”

“They were raped by multiple perpetrators, trafficked to other towns and cities in the north of England, abducted, beaten, and intimidated. There were examples of children who had been doused in petrol and threatened with being set alight, threatened with guns, made to witness brutally violent rapes and threatened they would be next if they told anyone,” the report said. “Girls as young as 11 were raped by large numbers of male perpetrators.”

Elon Musk Says America Will Be ‘Toast’ and U.S. Dollar Will Be Worth ‘Nothing’ Without Fast Action — What He Means

America is undeniably an economic powerhouse, but Tesla CEO Elon Musk — the richest person in the U.S. and the world — is sounding the alarm about its financial future.

“The country is going bankrupt. If we don’t take action, the dollar’s going to be worth nothing,” Musk said during a recent appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast.

Musk’s alarm centers on the ballooning U.S. national debt, which currently stands at $36.17 trillion. Managing this staggering debt comes with a hefty price: interest payments alone are a significant and growing strain on government finances.

“The interest payments, which are already 23% of all government income… is just going to pay interest right now, and that number is continually rising,” Musk explained. “So if we don’t do something, the entire government budget will be paying interest — there won’t be money for anything. No, there won’t be money for Social Security, there won’t be money for Medicare, nothing. That’s where we’re headed. That’s what bankruptcy means.”

The numbers paint a grim picture. In fiscal year 2024, interest on U.S. federal debt totaled $1.1265 trillion, while the federal government collected $4.92 trillion in revenue.
