Baby Found Abandoned in Fairbanks With Heartbreaking Note From Mother (VIDEO)

An infant was found abandoned in a cardboard box in Alaska with a heartbreaking note from the desperate mother who said she could not afford to feed her baby.

Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of an abandoned baby found around 2 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, officials confirmed in a statement.

Temperatures at the time were in the single digits with a wind-chill of 12 below, according to the National Weather Service.

The baby was found by Fairbanks resident Roxy Lane, who posted a video on social media of the note and the baby, who was swaddled in blankets and cooing softly. . .

The baby was taken by EMS to a local hospital and was “found to be in good health,” according to state troopers. (Read more from “Baby Found Abandoned in Fairbanks With Heartbreaking Note From Mother” HERE)

The Case for Electing Conservative Leadership in Fairbanks

The terms “partisan” and “non-partisan” are being thrown around a lot lately. Let’s talk about what it really means and other tactics that progressives use. The local government bodies are called non-partisan because, when an election is held, they do not have party affiliation listed on the ballot next to each candidate. Local governments save a lot of money this way because they don’t need to have a primary election.

Non-partisan doesn’t mean that the candidates don’t have a party or, as some like to imply the phrase means, that they are “neutral” and unbiased and always clearly in the center. This is actually not true of any candidate, as all have their principles and beliefs, and, in fact, that is what the voters are really voting on in a representative republic. The idea is that the candidates communicate what they believe and the principles that guide their political decisions, usually on some specific relevant issues, so that the voters can determine if they will handle their duties as they would like them to. It’s pretty important for it to work this way since you don’t usually know ahead of time what issues they will be voting on, so it lets you know what to expect.

What we usually see here locally are the conservatives, like myself, letting people know that they are standing on conservative principles like limited government, the protection of property rights, and keeping government from making mandates on issues where decisions should be made by the individuals, families or churches. The progressives, on the other hand, seem to use the term non-partisan to hide their principles, probably because they know that their agendas of constantly increasing taxes, frequently restricting property rights, and their love of government mandates don’t play well in a conservative area like ours.

Another example of deceptive phraseology is when someone says they support the tax cap. The tax cap is important because it prevents a spike in government growth in a particular year. It’s not designed to protect against the constant increase in taxation that we’ve seen in Fairbanks, where the records show the budget increasing more than the cost of living almost every year. You need to listen to all that the candidates say to really see what their plans are. If they only talk of all the good things we can have, without mentioning the cost, then watch out; a large tax increase is headed your way. Another way you can really see what people stand for is to look at their donor lists. By and large, conservatives get money from conservatives, and progressives get money from progressives.

Finally, the last bastion of the progressives is to lie. This is usually done by supporters instead of the candidates themselves. Just a few days ago a progressive extremist unleashed a set of lies upon the conservative candidates. His really big whopper is saying that Critical Race Theory isn’t being taught in Fairbanks schools. In relation to me, he accused me of scrubbing my Facebook page, which never happened. I do have privacy settings and have definitely blocked extremists like him as he has been obsessed with me on social media for many years now. I’ll answer his attacks on the conservative preacher in a letter to the editor after the election, as I really hate seeing others slandered.

One more point to think about, the other night at a forum the progressive candidates made it clear that they support the Borough making mandates about your medical decisions, one even insisting that it could use emergency powers to break all the laws against those mandates. That’s not how emergency powers work. Those powers only allow you to bypass some policies in areas that you have already been given powers; they don’t allow you to break constitutional edict, federal statute, state statute or the limited powers of our second class borough.

This year, most local races have two people with completely opposite principles on display. A small amount of research will reveal which candidates care about people (and their businesses) and their God-given rights, and which want government to grow larger and make more decisions for you. In case you have trouble finding enough out there on the candidates, I will list out the conservatives for you in the competitive races: Borough mayor: Bryce Ward or Chris Ludtke; Borough Assembly: Lance Roberts, Patricia Silva and Kevin McKinley; school board: Jeff Rentzel and Andrew Graham; Fairbanks City Council: Jerry Cleworth and Jonathan Bagwill.

Serial Killer in Fairbanks, Alaska? Eight Missing

. . .Since May of 2020, eight people have disappeared from the Fairbanks area[.]

“I don’t think it would be too much, given the circumstances and the fear that our community is in, to call in the F.B.I., who have additional resources, funding, that might be available to work with troopers and Fairbanks Police on [a] task force,” community leader, Jody Potts said during the vigil. “But that ask has to come from local authorities. And so we are asking that you call in the F.B.I. to work with these families and on these cases.”

Acting Fairbanks Police Chief Rick Sweet says the Fairbanks Police Department is already speaking with the F.B.I. about these missing person cases but would need to talk to law enforcement partners before calling agents to come to investigate locally. UAF: Impossible That WTC Building 7 Collapsed by Small Fires as Claimed by NIST

The University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) was tasked with investigating how World Trade Center 7 fell on 9/11; the findings were live-streamed a few days ago. The team found that WTC 7 did not fall due to fire, contradicting NIST who said the building collapsed from structural damages due to the fire.

The presentation was presented by Dr. Leroy Hulsey. Hulsey spoke about the building, its design, as well as the methods the team used to determine their first of two conclusions. The first part of the experiment is finished; the UAF team found that WTC7 did not collapse due to fire. The next part of the study is to map out the building’s structural system’s response and what would have had to happen in order for it to fall down. The report was published on Thursday on the UAF’s website.

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) opened an investigation into the collapses of WTC 1, WTC 2, and WTC 7 in August 2002. NIST released its final report on WTC 7 in 2008, finding that the fires that were ignited by falling debris from WTC 1 caused the collapse of WTC 7. Independent researchers, however, have assembled evidence that has raised profound questions regarding the notion that WTC 7 collapsed because of fire.

The study was backed by Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth; the researchers used a virtual model of the building to conduct the investigation.

Last year, Activist Post talked to the Director of Strategy and Development for A&E 9/11 Truth, Ted Walter, who is also in charge of working with the professor and raised the money to fund the WTC 7 Evaluation. Walter previously told Activist Post that “the project began in May 2015 and should wrap up in April of next year.” That deadline was passed but the study should wrap up in October according to the project’s website.

The reported failure was simulated using three-dimensional finite element computer models of the building. The research team studied the building’s response using two finite element programs, ABAQUS and SAP2000 version 18.

Three types of evaluations were performed:

1. the planar response of the structural elements to the fire(s) using wire elements.
2. the building’s response using the NIST’s approach with solid elements; and lastly.
3. the validity of NIST’s findings using solid elements. At the macro-level, progressive collapse, i.e., the structural system’s response to local failures, is being studied using SAP2000 with wire elements, as well as with ABAQUS, and it is near completion.

The study concluded:

“The findings thus far are that fire did not bring down this building. Building failure simulations show that, to match observation, the entire inner core of this building failed nearly simultaneously,” the website for the study noted.

The building’s structural system’s response to local failures is being studied using SAP2000 with wire elements, as well as with ABAQUS, and it is near completion according to the website for the study.

Former U.S. Congressional staffer Susan Lindauer, a CIA asset, has previously said that she was told by her CIA handler Richard Fuisz not to return to New York City in September of 2001 and that it would be ‘far too dangerous’ to do so due to an ‘imminent’ detonation of a miniature thermonuclear device.

Interestingly enough, a peer-reviewed scientific publication identified the presence of nano-thermite in the WTC rubble. One of the critical aspects of that paper has been confirmed by Chemical Engineer Mark Basile.

A draft report of UAF’s current re-evaluation will be “released in October or November 2017 and will be open for public comment for a six-week period, allowing for input from the public and the engineering community with a final report to be published in early 2018,” www.wtc7evaluation.org, noted. Alaska School Gets $127K Penalty for Animal Deaths

Photo Credit: destination arctic circle / Creative Commons The University of Alaska Fairbanks has been penalized $127,100 by the U.S. Department of Agriculture after 12 musk oxen died from malnutrition at the school’s large animal research station earlier this decade.

An administrative law judge for the U.S. Department of Agriculture issued the civil penalty Thursday for violating of the Animal Welfare Act. An animal rights group that initially filed a complaint over the deaths in 2011, prompting a USDA investigation, announced the penalty Tuesday.

The size of the penalty “tells me the USDA is sending a message to these facilities that they are no longer going to stand for these criminals that break the law, and we’re very happy to see this,” said Michael Budkie, executive director of the group Stop Animal Exploitation Now.

The university entered into the agreement without admitting fault.

A 64-year-old Fairbanks man was mauled to death by a bear at a remote lake in Alaska’s interior, authorities said Friday.

The man and a family member were at a cabin at George Lake, about 110 miles southeast of Fairbanks, when the attack occurred Thursday evening.

The family member sought shelter inside the cabin and called authorities, Alaska State Troopers spokeswoman Megan Peters said…

Responders found the man’s body outside the cabin, and the traumatized family member inside. The victim was identified as Robert Weaver, Peters said.

China Launches Its First Aircraft Carrier, Experts Doubt Its Strategic Value

In a ceremony attended by the country’s top leaders, China put its first aircraft carrier into service on Tuesday, a move intended to signal its growing military might as tensions escalate between Beijing and its neighbors over islands in nearby seas.

Officials said the carrier, a discarded vessel bought from Ukraine in 1998 and refurbished by China, would protect national sovereignty, an issue that has become a touchstone of the government’s dispute with Japan over ownership of islands in the East China Sea.

But despite the triumphant tone of the launching, which was watched by President Hu Jintao and Prime Minister Wen Jiabao, and despite rousing assessments by Chinese military experts about the importance of the carrier, the vessel will be used only for training and testing for the foreseeable future.

The mark “16” on the carrier’s side indicates that it is limited to training, Chinese and other military experts said. China does not have planes capable of landing on the carrier and so far training for such landings has been carried out on land, they said.

Even so, the public appearance of the carrier at the northeastern port of Dalian was used as an occasion to stir patriotic feelings, which have run at fever pitch in the last 10 days over the dispute between China and Japan over the East China Sea islands, called Senkaku in Japan and Diaoyu in China.

Did Lisa Murkowski Cause the Alaska Republican Party to Adjourn Prematurely in Fairbanks? (+video)

The Alaskan Republican Party central committee meeting in Fairbanks on Saturday, September 22, 2012, adjourned after only an hour. Yesterday, we suggested that the premature adjournment reflected the dysfunction of the state party. But some suspect the early adjournment by out-going ARP Chairman Randy Ruedrich was intentional, so as to avoid any vote on a pending censure resolution against Senator Lisa Murkowski.

One attendee, an ARP District Chair, wrote down his observations of the Saturday meeting. Here’s his description of what happened after the initial roll call, invocation, and pledge of allegiance:

At approximately 0930 Mr. Ruedrich moved to the Treasurers Report. It was at this time that Alaska Republican Party Treasurer Mr. Frank McQueery stood and stated that Mr. Daniel Palmer had been recording the entire event and was live streaming onto You Tube. He stated he was not comfortable with the live streaming as this was a private organization discussing political strategy.

A motion was made to have the video stopped and the vote was overwhelming to stop recording. At this point Mr. Palmer started discussion on the subject citing his right to record the meeting. Another member pointed out that anything broadcast on You Tube is on a permanent record. Various other members became involved at this point, pointing out the fact that it was being broadcast worldwide and they were not comfortable with speaking live on YouTube.

National Committeeman Ralph Seekins said he agreed he could record his own private conversation but did not believe it was right to record other people without their consent. He also noted that the event was not public but was a private event of the Republican Party.

The motion to restrict the recording of this and future meetings of the SCC was called and passed. The Chairman requested that the video be stopped and Mr. Palmer declined. At that time, following additional comments from the party Treasurer, a motion was made to remove Mr. Palmer from the meeting and recess the meeting until that was done.

Chairman-Elect Russ Millette approached Mr. Palmer and told him that he had voted against the motion to stop the recording but asked him to stop the recording because it was going to create problems for party unity. Mr. Palmer refused to cooperate and said he would continue the recording. Chair-Elect Millette again said, “I’m asking you again nicely to reconsider”. But Mr. Palmer still refused.

Following additional time the meeting was called back to order and a motion to adjourn was made by the proxy vote for Don Young and was seconded. Mr. Ruedrich called for a vote from the few people remaining in the room and the motion to adjourn passed.

This type of action was completely detrimental to the Alaska Republican Party as a whole. We have approximately 42 day’s left to win the election and at the present time Obama has 269 confirmed electoral votes. The fact is, we will not win this election as a divided party.

Former U.S. Senate candidate Joe Miller brings grassroots PAC to Fairbanks

Joe Miller told supporters there is no truth to rumors that he’s living in either Nevada or Arizona or Wasilla during a launch barbecue Friday at Pioneer Park for his new political action committee.

Although he works for another PAC with a Nevada address, he and his family have been living in Fairbanks, he said.

His new political group, Restoring Liberty Alaska, will work to support his limited government platform in Alaska.

“We’re going to restrain activist judges, and we’re going to get good people elected,” he said.

One politician he said needs more help in Juneau is Sen. John Coghill, who also spoke at the barbecue.
