Gavin Newsom Ignored Calls to Help Girl, 5, Left With Half a Skull in Crash Caused by Illegal Alien, Dad Says

The heartbroken father of a 5-year-old girl who suffered life-altering injuries in a multi-vehicle pileup caused by an illegal-immigrant truck driver says Gov. Gavin Newsom has stonewalled the family’s desperate calls for help.

Dalilah Coleman, now 7, was left nonverbal and is relearning how to walk after her family vehicle was srtuck in a 2024 wreck by an 18-wheeler driven by Partap Singh, an illegal immigrant from India.

Singh, who had been given a commercial driver’s license by the state despite his immigration status, was speeding through a construction zone and failed to stop his truck for traffic, leading to the horrifying crash, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

“When Dalilah’s accident first happened, I reached out to the governor’s office, via phone as well as email. I received nothing back at all,” Marcus Coleman said on Fox News’ “The Will Cain Show.”

Singh entered the country illegally through the southern border in October 2022 but was released by the Biden administration. He was rearrested by ICE in August 2025 to face deportation proceedings. Dem Governor Becomes Stuttering Mess As He’s Asked If Boys Can Become Girls

Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom repeatedly stuttered as The Daily Wire co-founder Ben Shapiro pressed him on whether boys can become girls during a Thursday episode of “This Is Gavin Newsom.”

Newsom has enabled California schools to discreetly transition children without their parents’ knowledge or consent. Shapiro called out Newsom on his podcast for being unwilling to say “whether boys can become girls,” prompting a non-answer from the governor.

“Yeah. I just don’t, well, I think, uh, I’m for the grace of God,” Newsom said. “Yeah.”

“I appreciate the sympathy … anybody who’s suffering with any sort of mental or physical condition, that’s terrible,” Shapiro responded.

Newsom responded with a platitude and more stammering.

“I mean, I think it’s been, it’s been the case for generations, for, in time immemorial. I, you know, God bless. I just, I don’t know how,” the governor said before Shapiro cut him off. (Read more from “Dem Governor Becomes Stuttering Mess As He’s Asked If Boys Can Become Girls” HERE)

Bombshell Federal Audit: Gavin Newsom’s California Illegally Issued 17K Driver’s Licenses to Dangerous Foreign Truck Drivers

A bombshell audit from Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy reveals that California, under the direction of Gov. Gavin Newsom (D), illegally issued thousands of Commercial Driver’s Licenses (CDLs) to dangerous foreign truck drivers. Duffy said the CDLs are now being revoked.

This week, Duffy’s Department of Transportation (DOT) announced that the California Department of Motor Vehicles admitted to illegally issuing 17,000 CDLs to foreign truck drivers, who DOT officials said are dangerous and unqualified to drive semi-trucks.

“After weeks of claiming they did nothing wrong, Gavin Newsom and California have been caught red-handed,” Duffy said in a statement:

Now that we’ve exposed their lies, 17,000 illegally issued trucking licenses are being revoked. This is just the tip of the iceberg. My team will continue to force California to prove they have removed every illegal immigrant from behind the wheel of semitrucks and school buses.

Duffy said that the 17,000 foreign truck drivers who were issued CDLs by California have now been notified that their licenses do not meet federal requirements and will expire in 60 days. Report: Gavin Newsom’s Prostitution Shield Law Creates Sex Market Full of 12, 13-Year-Old Girls in Downtown L.A.

The New York Times has shone a spotlight on the Democrats’ long-ignored “kiddie stroll” sex market on Los Angeles’ Figueroa Street, yet the newspaper downplayed the pimp shield law pushed by a libertarian Democratic legislator, Rep Scott Wiener, and signed by California Gov. Gavin Newsom.

“For the 77th Street Division, which covers the northern half of the Figueroa Corridor, prostitution had always been a problem. But in recent years, the officers had seen the magnitude of child sex trafficking explode,” says the article, written by reporter Emily Baumgaertner Nunn.

Gangs that had long sold drugs began to take advantage of Figueroa’s lucrative opportunity. With a dozen girls, one trafficker could easily make $12,000 a night. “Drugs are sold once and gone forever, but girls can be resold indefinitely,” said [police sergeant Alvaro] Navarro, who had been in the division for two decades. Motel owners who noticed the parades of customers but feared the gangs’ retribution kept quiet.

. . .

Gov. Gavin Newsom signed the police handcuff bill after it was pushed by Wiener and his far-left allies, who passed SB357 in 2022.

The newspaper did not mention Newsom or Wiener, or clearly describe the pro-prostitution bill, which was pitched by Wiener as legal support for minorities along with gays and “transgender” people.

Gavin Newsom Joins Democrats in Mocking Child Victims of Catholic School Shooting

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) joined other Democrats in mocking the idea of prayer in the wake of the mass shooting at a Catholic school in Minneapolis this week, noting that the children were praying at the time.

In a post on X, responding to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt’s claim that “prayer works,”, Newsom said: “There children were literally praying as they got shot at,” implying that prayer does not work.

Democrats have long attacked the idea of offering “thoughts and prayers” for the victims and their families in the wake of mass shootings, arguing that political action is needed, particularly gun control legislation.

They have treated “thoughts and prayers” — a common expression of condolences — as a way of avoiding the legislative or constitutional measures that, they argue, would prevent mass shootings.

(In the Minneapolis case, for example, one commentator called for “red flag” laws that allow guns to be taken away from mentally ill people — except that Minnesota already has such laws in place, among other gun control measures.)

Newsom Threatens to Redraw California’s Districts if GOP States Push Mid-Decade Maps

California Governor Gavin Newsom has warned President Donald Trump that he will move to redraw California’s congressional maps if Republican-led states proceed with what he calls “hyper-partisan gerrymanders” ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.

In a letter posted Monday on X, Newsom urged Trump to convince governors in red states to abandon their mid-decade redistricting plans. “If you will not stand down, I will be forced to lead an effort to redraw the maps in California to offset the rigging of maps in red states,” Newsom wrote, adding that California would halt its own efforts if other states do the same.

The governor pointed out that California’s current districts were drawn by an independent citizens’ commission, a process in place for nearly 20 years, but argued the state “cannot stand idly by” if others change maps before the next census. His plan would largely depend on whether Texas and other GOP-led states carry out their proposed redistricting.

The political battle comes as Texas lawmakers advance new congressional maps after a Justice Department claim that current boundaries violate civil rights laws. In California, Newsom’s threat has sparked debate in the state legislature over whether to amend the state constitution to allow lawmakers — rather than the independent commission — to control redistricting. State officials estimate such a move could cost over $200 million.

Critics from both parties have pushed back. Rep. Kevin Kiley (R-CA) called the idea “uniquely corrupt,” while former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger (R) — who helped establish the commission through voter initiatives in 2008 and 2010 — said dismantling it would undermine the system’s integrity.

Still, Newsom has backing from Democratic heavyweights, including former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), who echoed his concerns about what she labeled a “rigged” election process in other states. Pelosi argued California should be prepared to act if Texas moves ahead with its plan.

However, not all Democrats are on board. Alex Lee (D-Milpitas) warned that abandoning the commission could “betray the party platform” and create a dangerous precedent.

Six Months Later, California Democrats Have Done Basically Nothing To Rebuild From LA Fires

California and Los Angeles officials are touting the rapid recovery from January’s fires, but many residents say the praise is just smoke and mirrors.

Six months ago, the Los Angeles fires raged for a full week before firefighters could confidently declare them contained. Today, officials are hailing cleanup progress — even as rubble still clutters sidewalks and residents wait impatiently for permits to rebuild their homes and resume their lives.

Marking the six-month anniversary of the fire’s start, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass called the effort “the fastest recovery in state history,” according to the city’s website.

That same day, Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom announced what he called the “substantial completion of the public debris removal program.”

“Nearly 10,000 homes cleared — months ahead of schedule — because recovery can’t wait,” Newsom said. “Now we turn the page to rebuilding, and we’re doing it with a clear plan, strong partnerships, and the urgency this moment demands.” (Read more from “Six Months Later, California Democrats Have Done Basically Nothing To Rebuild From LA Fires” HERE)

Gavin Newsom: California Suing Trump for ‘Illegal’ Deployment of National Guard

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) announced his plans to sue the Trump administration for “illegally act[ing] to federalize the National Guard” to contain the Los Angeles anti-deportation riots, accusing Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth of being “in over his head.”

When asked by left-wing YouTuber Brian Taylor Cohen if he has any “confidence” that Hegseth will be as “principled” as former Defense Secretary Mark Esper was on Monday, Newsom coldly responded, “Pete Hegseth is a joke. He’s a joke. Everybody knows it, so in over his head. What an embarrassment.” . . .

He went on to say that Trump’s deployment of the National Guard, prompted by the ongoing violent protest against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials that sparked last week, “is a preview of things to come” to other cities.

“This is not about LA, per se. This is about us today, it’s about you and everyone watching tomorrow,” Newsom argued. “I promise you. I mean, this guy is unhinged. Donald Trump is unhinged right now.” . . .

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt revealed Saturday that President Donald Trump had signed a Presidential Memorandum that deployed 2,000 National Guardsmen “to address the lawlessness that has been allowed to fester”:

As the Smoke Clears, Will Dumb, Rich Voters Finally Get It?

Will the wildfires finally wake up Los Angeles? Adam Carolla, evacuated from home and ranting into his mic in a Los Angeles hotel room, seems to think so.

When the fast winds that fueled two of L.A. County’s largest wildfires on record die down, wealthy residents of Pacific Palisades rushing to rebuild their homes will crash headlong into a thicket of state, county, and local permitting and building codes. Then, Carolla predicts, and only then will they vote differently, with the neighborhood in ruins and the state’s phalanx of environmental regulation turned against them.

It’s a common fantasy. Rich lefties getting their comeuppance and said comeuppance finally beating sense into the next election result is a daydream outnumbered conservatives know too well. In bizarro, chronically mismanaged California, it’s bread and butter.

But such an outcome is a long way off, even as mainstream coverage untangles the lasagna of bad policy, corruption, ill-maintained infrastructure, and outrageous DEI priorities that overshadowed prevention and doomed the fight against the Palisades and Eaton fires. Like Sacramento, one party and one party alone runs Los Angeles. Fairly or not, that’s where the blame will land for empty reservoirs, hydrants that ran dry, and the frenzied evacuations of nearly 200,000 people. . .

While no one can control 100-mph winds or California’s predictably dry weather, a sense of outrage over preventable measures that could have saved homes is understandable. Like the power lines a co-worker of mine saw banging against trees in Studio City last week, talk of recall is already sparking.

Political careers have been ruined for far less. A search for culprits is rarely fair or thoughtful, and yet Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass (D), who upon rushing back from Ghana appeared dumbstruck, before reading a speech that wasn’t even proofread, and Gov. Gavin Newsom (D), who has been more vocal about destroying dams along the far-north Klamath River to restore salmon than ramping up reservoir storage, aren’t doing themselves any favors. Recall Effort Against Newsom Underway in California Following Alleged Mishandling of LA Fires

A recall attempt to knock California Gov. Gavin Newsom out of office is underway as he faces sharp criticism for his handling of the Los Angeles wildfires – with opponents labeling his leadership as a “series of catastrophic failures.”

Organizers against Newsom vowed to file papers in the next two weeks in hopes of jumpstarting the process that could lead to the Democrat’s ouster in the middle of his second term in the governor’s mansion.

The state leader – along with Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass – is fighting for his political life as the wildfires have torched more than 40,000 acres, destroyed more than 12,000 structures and killed at least 24 people.

“Under the reign of Governor Newsom, living in California has become impossible for average people through years of poor policies which have increased the costs of living, increased crime, increased drug use and homelessness, increased the cost of burden [sic] on small businesses and communities, while decreasing our professional standards, education standards, the disappearance of billions of taxpayers’ dollars to failed pet programs, and our public services,” one recall organizer, Randy Economy, said in a statement.

“This was most recently demonstrated by the woefully unprepared and incompetent response to the fires currently ravaging the Los Angeles area.” (Read more from “Recall Effort Against Newsom Underway in California Following Alleged Mishandling of LA Fires” HERE)
