University Event Goes ‘Weird’ as George Floyd Called ‘God’s Chosen Vessel’

George Floyd is recognized by almost everyone in America as the black man who died at the hands of Minneapolis police in a confrontation that eventually triggered race riots that caused billions of dollars in damages across the U.S. . .

But it’s a different characterization being given to him at an event in his honor at Arizona State.

There, a speaker deified him, insisting, “George Floyd died for us, each and every one … God chose him. He was a chosen vessel.”

A report at Not the Bee reported, “In the past, godly men and women were chosen to be honored by church leaders for their close walk with Jesus Christ. They healed the sick, defied tyrants, modeled virtue, traveled over land and sea to reach the lost, and helped the poor and oppressed. But today, in the Year of Our Floyd 4, we honor violent serial convicts who point guns at pregnant women, use counterfeit money, and resist arrest while sitting in a car with their drug dealer. We even honor the holy relics that were used in their cause!”

New Film Gives Reel Truth in the Face of George Floyd Lies (VIDEO)

It’s a self-protective aspect of human nature to put aside painful memories, and that’s what most of us have done about the murderous riots in the summer of 2020 that were sparked by George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis.

But for the people of that fallen city, and for all the cops across the nation who were abandoned and betrayed by their feckless political leaders, the pain still burns bright.

It ought to burn for the rest of us, too, because we still are suffering the consequences, in the catastrophic breakdown of law and order nationwide. We will continue to do so while the lies about George Floyd’s death are left to fester.

A brilliant new crowdfunded documentary, “The Fall of Minneapolis,” aims to remedy our collective amnesia about the events of May 25, 2020 — a time when the country was already half-mad from the ravages of COVID-19 and forced lockdowns, and when Democratic Party operatives, including candidates Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, seized on the “Defund the police” movement, in order to bring down President Donald Trump.

So many lies have been told since, and so much truth buried by the Big Tech censors that control reality, that the documentary arrives like a slap in the face. (Read more from “New Film Gives Reel Truth in the Face of George Floyd Lies” HERE)

Target CEO: Conservatives Upset Over Trans Merch More Dangerous to Employees Than George Floyd Riots

Target CEO Brian Cornell deflected when he was pressed Thursday about specific Target products that generated a boycott starting in May, while suggesting blowback over transgender merch came from violent customers who threatened his employees’ safety more than the George Floyd riots.

Target, as admitted by Cornell, is still suffering from abysmal sales. Outraged shoppers took to social media back in May after discovering LGBT Pride clothing for children and a transgender “tuck-friendly” bathing suit at the popular retail chain. It was also later pieced together that a designer tied to merchandise featuring occult images and phrases such as “Satan Respects Pronouns” and “Trans Witches For Abortion,” designed some of Target’s PRIDE items.

Cornell told CNBC’s Squawk Box that the violence and looting witnessed during the George Floyd riots did not compare to the trans blowback.

“We’ve seen natural disasters, the impact of COVID, some of the violence that took place after George Floyd’s murder, but I would tell you, what I saw back in May, is the first time since I’ve been in this job where I had store members saying, ‘It’s not safe to come to work,’” the CEO claimed, adding that angry customers were engaged in “very aggressive behavior at store-level, lots of threats,” and “destroyed products.” (Read more from “Target CEO: Conservatives Upset Over Trans Merch More Dangerous to Employees Than George Floyd Riots” HERE)

Dem City Will Pay $600,000 to Protesters for Injuries Sustained in 2020 George Floyd Demonstrations

A federal court Wednesday approved Minneapolis, Minnesota’s agreement to pay 12 protesters a combined $600,000 for injuries sustained during 2020 demonstrations over George Floyd’s murder.

The agreement settled a lawsuit brought by American Civil Liberties Union of Minnesota (ACLU-MN) on the protesters’ behalf, and bars Minneapolis from arresting or using physical force including chemical agents against people demonstrating legally, according to a Wednesday ACLU-MN press release. The Minnesota U.S. District Court’s injunction concluding the lawsuit Wednesday mandates body-camera recordings for Minneapolis officers deployed to protests and limits their use of chemical agents for peaceful protest dispersion.

“Tear gas, foam bullets and pepper spray became weapons for intimidating and hurting protesters, making it dangerous for people to exercise their First Amendment rights,” ACLU-MN Legal Director Teresa Nelson said. “We hope this settlement sends a message to law enforcement across Minnesota that this violation of our constitutional rights will not be tolerated.”

Former Officer Pleads Guilty in George Floyd’s Death

Just hours before jury selection was scheduled to begin on Monday, former Minneapolis cop J. Alexander Kueng agreed to take a plea deal for his involvement in George Floyd’s death.

In exchange for pleading guilty to aiding and abetting second-degree manslaughter, Kueng’s murder charge was dropped in the state trial. The former officer’s sentencing date will be determined later, but he is expected to receive at least 42 months in prison to be served at the same time as his federal sentence.

Tou Thao, another former officer, who was involved in the arrest, decided to waive his right to a jury. Instead, Judge Peter Cahill will determine Thao’s case based on existing evidence. Thao also waived his right to have any witnesses testify. If he is found guilty by the judge, he may be expected to serve 41 to 57 months in prison.

Prosecutors noted that they would not pursue the murder charge against Thao if he were found guilty of aiding and abetting second-degree manslaughter. (Read more from “Former Officer Pleads Guilty in George Floyd’s Death” HERE)

Barack Obama Uses Texas Shooting to Memorialize George Floyd

Former President Barack Obama used the school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, to memorialize the death of George Floyd, even though the two tragedies have almost no relation.

Indeed, Wednesday, May 25, marks the two-year anniversary of George Floyd’s murder at the hands of a Minneapolis police officer, but instead of just commemorating the day on its own, the former president tied the horrific massacre in Texas, which left 19 children and two teachers dead, to Floyd’s memory.

“As we grieve the children of Uvalde today, we should take time to recognize that two years have passed since the murder of George Floyd under the knee of a police officer,” the former president tweeted. “His killing stays with us all to this day, especially those who loved him.”

“In the aftermath of his murder, a new generation of activists rose up to channel their anguish into organized action, launching a movement to raise awareness of systemic racism and the need for criminal justice and police reform,” he added.

While few, except maybe the pro-Chauvin hardliners, would begrudge anyone for commemorating George Floyd on the anniversary of his death, the former president’s decision to tie it in with a current and raw national tragedy sparked significant backlash.

Columnist Fired for Suggesting ‘Georgina Floydina’ for Royal Baby Name

A high-profile UK newspaper columnist has been fired after she suggested Prince Harry and Meghan Markle should have named their newborn daughter “Georgina Floydina.”

The Sunday Telegraph’s Julie Burchill was accused of “disgusting racism” with her tweet about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s already controversial name for their baby, Lilibet Diana.

“What a missed opportunity. They could have called it Georgina Floydina!” Burchill tweeted, referencing George Floyd, the black man whose police murder in Minneapolis sparked protests across the world.

She then doubled down, according to the London Economic, saying that she “called the baby IT as a nod to non-binary bollocks” — and writing that the Sussexes’ baby’s first words would be, “Free Palestine!”

By Wednesday, her account had been removed — and Burchill fired from the right-wing paper. (Read more from “Columnist Fired for Suggesting ‘Georgina Floydina’ for Royal Baby Name” HERE)

Alaska Teacher On Leave After Recent George Floyd Comments (VIDEO)

A high school teacher in Fairbanks, Alaska, has reportedly been placed on administrative leave after suggesting to students that George Floyd would still be alive today had he complied with Minneapolis police.

In a video posted to YouTube last week, a teacher identified as “Ms. Gardner” is seen and heard conducting a virtual discussion with students about several high-profile shootings that have occurred in America of late, including police-involved incidents with black Americans.

When the topic of conversation shifted to Floyd, the teacher remarked that former Minneapolis police Officer Derek Chauvin “abused his authority” and “was complicit in George Floyd’s death.”

“But,” she added, “if George Floyd had, at the beginning when they got him out of the car and went to put him in the police car, if he had just sidled into the car and slid it in there, and let them put his legs in, he would be alive today, and you know that’s true.” . . .

According to the Daily Mail, after the video surfaced, the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District sent a letter to parents that the teacher had been placed on leave pending an investigation. Though officials reportedly did not disclose the teacher’s name, the outlet reported that “only one staffer with the same name: High school special education teacher Connie Gardner.”
