By New York Post. A Manhattan-born woman has claimed that she was “gagged, restrained and raped” by Ghislaine Maxwell — before Jeffrey Epstein joined in on the attack, according to an interview published Sunday.

The new accuser — identified by the pseudonym “Samantha” — told The Sun that she was violently assaulted after she recruited a 19-year-old friend for the notorious pedophile and told her to lie that she was 16.

She claimed she was then summoned to Epstein’s Manhattan mansion where British media heiress Maxwell took her to a massage room and started screaming that she was a “dirty, filthy whore, [a] lying whore.”

“The next thing I knew she had a ball gag in my mouth, my hands around my back and she was raping me with a sex toy,” she claimed of the alleged attack when she was a 21-year-old Parsons student. . .

“I remember her giving me $300 and saying, ‘Don’t think about going to the authorities because you won’t be alive to see your day in court,’ or something like that,” Samantha told the paper. Lawyers for Ghislaine Maxwell, the jailed alleged madam to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, have asked an appellate court to keep sealed a controversial deposition of hers but failed in a much-anticipated filing to present new information they had learned in a separate criminal case that they said would bolster their argument for keeping the material under wraps.

The new filing from Maxwell hit the court docket Thursday night, hours before a deadline imposed by the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in New York. It is hearing her appeal of an order by U.S. District Judge Loretta Preska to unseal most documents in a civil lawsuit settled in 2017 between Maxwell and Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre.

Maxwell contends the 413-page deposition, taken in 2016, was given with the expectation that it would not be used against her in other proceedings. In the new appeal filing, her lawyers warned that allowing the deposition into the public realm, especially as she faces criminal prosecution, would have a chilling effect on future witnesses.

“If the unsealing order goes into effect, it will forever let the cat out of the bag,” they warned in a 74-page filing, adding that doing so would also hamper Maxwell’s ability to get a fair trial in the criminal case. Ghislaine Maxwell’s Nephew Worked Under Hillary Clinton at State Department

By The Daily Beast. . .Now the celebrity tabloid OK! Magazine is reporting that ex-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton “gifted” Maxwell’s nephew, Alexander Djerassi, a position within her department when he was just out of college and gave him “special treatment.”

A State Department spokesperson told The Daily Beast that Djerassi served as a “Staff Assistant” from May 2009 to June 2012. The Daily Beast could not confirm whether the role was in fact “gifted” by Clinton. . .

The report also appears to reference Djerassi’s LinkedIn profile, which lists his role as chief of staff for the “Office of the Assistant Secretary of State, Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs” from May 2011 to June 2012. Djerassi served as special assistant to the office from May 2009 to May 2011, his online profile says.

Djerassi’s name also popped up in a collection of Clinton’s emails hacked via WikiLeaks. In a November 2011 message, Assistant Secretary Jeffrey Feltman referred to his “special assistant, Alex Djerassi.” Feltman mentioned Djerassi again in a January 2012 email, according to WikiLeaks. The British socialite “had an album full of photographs of people, young girls, girls,” Epstein’s former butler, Juan Alessi, said in an unsealed 2016 deposition revealed by DailyMail.com.

“And I remember that she had. Like a hobby … It was some girls were topless, taking the sun,” he said, while insisting they did not show “any vaginal or things.”

Alessi, 70, also said that he was given access to cash to pay “probably over 100” girls to massage Epstein and Maxwell — and would find sex toys in the room, which he would wash off, according to the Mail’s docs. Ghislaine Maxwell Wants to Delay Publication of Jeffrey Epstein Records; Argues Feds Wrongfully Obtained Her Sworn Testimony

By New York Daily News. Ghislaine Maxwell sought a last-minute delay Wednesday of publication of reams of papers on Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking scheme, arguing the perv’s accusers set a “perjury trap” that landed her in jail.

Maxwell’s request revolved around depositions she took in 2016 in connection with a mostly-secret civil lawsuit filed by Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre. Federal prosecutors cited statements Maxwell made in the depositions in an indictment charging her with perjury.

Maxwell attorney Ty Gee wrote prosecutors should not have had access to the deposition, which remains under seal through a protective order. Someone, he wrote, must have illegally leaked the transcript to the feds.

“The government had no ability legally to obtain the deposition transcripts,” Gee wrote.

Highly confidential evidence in the Ghislaine Maxwell case includes “nude, partially nude or otherwise sexualized images (and) videos,” a new court filing revealed Monday.

Maxwell, 58, is being held in MDC Brooklyn without bail while awaiting trial for grooming underage girls for Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse. Prosecutors say she at times participated in the abuse of girls she manipulated.

The description of the evidence was included in a 13-page document placing restrictions on evidence that Manhattan Federal prosecutors will share with Maxwell’s defense team.

When the FBI raided Epstein’s Upper East Side mansion last year investigators found a stash of nude photographs of underage girls.

Prosecutors and Maxwell’s legal teams asked Judge Alison Nathan to resolve two disputes about the evidence. Maxwell’s attorneys wanted any witnesses — including alleged victims — to not be allowed to use evidence for any purpose beyond prepping for her criminal trial. Judge Loretta Preska said that 80 documents – which will run to hundreds of pages – should be made public within a week.

The documents will include depositions from Ghislaine Maxwell, which could explain her alleged role in Epstein’s sex trafficking operation.

They could include details about Maxwell’s sex life that her lawyers have previously tried to stop from being released, relating to a seven-hour, 418-page deposition Maxwell gave which her legal team said was ‘extremely personal, confidential’. . .

The documents will also include communications between Maxwell and Epstein from January 2015 when Virginia Roberts made explosive allegations about them in court papers. What Ghislaine Maxwell’s Court Document Release Means for Prince Andrew and Others in Epstein’s ‘Little Black Book’

By Forbes. . .[I]t’s important to remember how crucial Virginia Roberts Giuffre’s narrative of her three alleged encounters with Prince Andrew are to her claims of being trafficked, specifically to London, specifically at the hands of Ghislaine Maxwell and Epstein. In this sense it can be argued that the news of the release of the civil documents is worse for Prince Andrew than it is for his old friend Maxwell, since Andrew sits in a luxe sort of confinement of his own making, un-indicted but inexorably at the forefront of the thinking at every turn the criminal case against his friend takes. . .

For his part, Alan Dershowitz, a friend of Epstein’s who advised him as he squeaked out his generous deal from the Florida prosecutors upon his conviction in 2010, welcomed the release. Dershowitz said, “I’m thrilled that all the documents come out, because I have nothing to hide.” . . .

The content from the Roberts Giuffre lawsuit will land imminently, and its triggering effect of renewed, very public scrutiny of that time period in Epstein’s and in Andrew’s lives will present Prince Andrew and his “working group” of legal and public relations advisors with a choice. They will have to unfetter their hitherto unhurried approach toward a more cooperative posture with the American authorities, or, somewhat likelier, they will have to figure out how to employ that process as cover for a more successful groundhog-backing-slowly-into-his-burrow attempt than they have been able to provide the prince to date.

It’s up for grabs whether anybody can, or could, successfully bury the issue for the prince, but that possibility seems far more remote now. Either way, the news of the document release of the Roberts Giuffre civil action is bad for Andrew, and as more documents than these immediate ones will be made public by Judge Preska, the retired prince’s legal and public relations prospects for the coming months look rough. Hollywood UNLOADS on Trump After He Offered Well Wishes to Ghislaine Maxwell

Several Hollywood celebrities, including actor Ben Stiller and director Judd Apatow, flocked to Twitter following President Trump wishing Ghislaine Maxwell “well,” expressing shock and disgust and asserting that “anyone who stands by him [Trump] is equally as evil.”

“I haven’t really been following it too much. I just wish her well, frankly,” Trump said following a question on the possibility of the accused sex trafficker turning in “powerful people” like Prince Andrew.

“I don’t know. I haven’t really been following it too much,” he continued, noting that he had met her “numerous times over the years, especially since I lived in Palm Beach and I guess they lived in Palm Beach.” . . .

The pal believes the hidden marriage — a bombshell revelation at Maxwell’s court hearing — was likely orchestrated “to protect the money she had,” the Times UK reported.

Prosecutors say the British heiress is linked to 15 different bank accounts, some with balances of more than $20 million, and that she keeps other accounts in foreign countries containing more than $1 million. . .

“No one knew she was married,” the ex-chum told the outlet, adding that she had been in a relationship for a while with the tech entrepreneur Scott Borgerson.

By Lia Eustachewich. Though the British heiress — who is accused of helping the late billionaire perv Jeffrey Epstein target underage girls — didn’t say the name of her mystery spouse, reports suggest it could be British tech CEO Scott Borgerson.

Maxwell was linked to the divorced dad last year when the Daily Mail said she was living at his oceanfront mansion in Manchester-by-the-Sea, Mass. . .

He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the co-founder and CEO of CargoMetrics Technologies, which specializes in analyzing data on global shipping, according to his LinkedIn page.

His online résumé also says he spent four years in the US Coast Guard, as both a commanding officer and navigator, and worked as an assistant professor at the US Coast Guard Academy.

By New York Post. Ghislaine Maxwell cried as she was ordered held without bail Tuesday — with a Manhattan judge ruling the accused sex abuser “poses substantial actual risk of flight” after she purposely hid from authorities.

The 58-year-old British socialite and pal of late convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein wiped tears from her left eye several times, using the back of her left index finger, as federal Judge Alison Nathan refused to free her from the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn until her trial next year.

“No combination of conditions” could ensure that Maxwell wouldn’t try to flee prosecution, Nathan said during a video conference in Manhattan federal court — where Maxwell appeared on the feed remotely from a closet-size room at the jail.

“The risks are simply too great,” the judge said, adding that Maxwell has exhibited an “extraordinary capacity to evade detection.”

Maxwell, the daughter of disgraced late newspaper baron Robert Maxwell, briefly hung her head when it became clear that she wasn’t going to be released at all — much less to a luxury New York City hotel, as she had requested — until trial. Geraldo Rivera Attacks Federal Judge for Not Allowing Maxwell Out on Bail

By Fox News. Fox News correspondent-at-large Geraldo Rivera accused the New York federal judge presiding over Ghislaine Maxwell’s case of “copping out to the mob” Tuesday after she denied the British socialite’s bail request as she awaits trial on sex trafficking charges.

“I think this was a political decision,” Rivera asserted on “Bill Hemmer Reports”. “I think that the question is not whether she committed these hideous offenses. The question is whether or not she would show up for trial. She bought a house in New Hampshire, for goodness’ sakes. She went to all this trouble to stay in the country. . .

“It doesn’t make any sense,” he said before claiming that prosecutors in the case “are doing this to put pressure on her.”

“They are punishing her before conviction,” Rivera argued. “She has never been held liable in a civil suit, never been convicted of a crime. She is not Jeffrey Epstein. I think this is a terrible, punitive decision.” . . .

Ghislaine Maxwell Is Also Under Investigation in U.S. Virgin Islands

By Bloomberg. Ghislaine Maxwell is also under investigation by the U.S. Virgin Islands for her alleged participation in Jeffrey Epstein’s sex-trafficking operation.

The Caribbean territory gave notice of its investigation in a court filing Friday in which it seeks to intervene in a lawsuit she filed against Jeffrey Epstein’s estate. The socialite sued earlier this year seeking reimbursement for legal fees she was incurring, claiming Epstein had repeatedly promised her that he would support her financially.

The island’s Department of Justice “is investigating Maxwell’s participation in Epstein’s criminal sex trafficking and sexual abuse conduct,” according to the July 10 filing. It’s also using the case to subpoena Maxwell, a process the government said she has evaded since March.

“The government’s need to intervene is further fueled by Maxwell’s inappropriate use of the Virgin Islands courts to seek payment and reimbursement from the Epstein criminal enterprise, while she circumvents the service of process of government subpoenas related to her involvement in that criminal enterprise,” the filing states. Epstein was a resident of the Virgin Islands for more than 20 years and owned two islands — Little St. James and Great St. James — which the government said it’s seeking to claim as part of its legal effort. They said Maxwell has shown a skilled ability to hide. When FBI agents went to arrest Maxwell at a mansion in New Hampshire on July 3, instead of obeying the agent’s order to open the door, Maxwell fled to another room and closed the door behind her, according to the court filing. After the FBI breached the door they found Maxwell inside and arrested her. . .

Prosecutors also cited Maxwell’s own wealth as a means for her to flee the country. Maxwell disclosed to the US Treasury Department that in 2018 and 2019 she held at times $2 million at an English bank and had a $4 million balance at a Swiss bank. But prosecutors say Maxwell’s finances are “opaque,” noting she has not filled out a sworn statement describing her assets. Ghislaine Maxwell Forced to Wear Paper Clothes in Prison

The Justice Department is beefing up security inside a New York City jail where pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell is being held amid concerns that she might commit suicide.

Outside officials separate from the Bureau of Prisons have been specifically tasked with ensuring there’s adequate protection and the prison’s protocols are being followed, an official told The Associated Press. The protections are to prevent her from harming herself, and also in case other inmates wish to harm her.

Maxwell also has a roommate in her cell and is being closely monitored, ensuring that someone is with her at all times while she is behind bars, the official added.
