Clinton and Sanders Just Had the Election’s Most Explosive Exchange to Date

By Hadas Gold. After a string of debates where Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders discussed (and occasionally disagreed about) the fine points of progressive policy, the two finally had a full-fledged throwdown Thursday night.

Clinton accused Sanders of going negative on the campaign trail, telling the Vermont Senator at the Democratic debate that his campaign was smearing her name.

“I think it’s time to end the very artful smear that you and your campaign have been carrying out in recent week,” Clinton said after Sanders talked about getting money out of politics.

Sanders has boasted about not receiving money from Wall street, and has pointed out in recent weeks that Clinton has received large sums in exchange for speaking. (Read more from “Clinton and Sanders Just Had the Election’s Most Explosive Exchange to Date” HERE)

Sanders Tops Clinton by 2-To-1 Margin in New Hampshire

By Jennifer Agiesta. Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders continues to hold a wide lead over Hillary Clinton among likely New Hampshire primary voters, according to a new CNN/WMUR tracking poll conducted entirely after the Iowa caucuses.

Sanders stands at 61% support, up slightly from the 57% he held in a late January CNN/WMUR poll conducted before he and Clinton divided Iowa caucusgoers almost evenly on Monday night. Clinton holds 30%, down a tick from the 34% she held before the caucuses. Both changes are within the poll’s margin of sampling error.

The results reflect interviews conducted during the first two and a half days of a tracking poll that will ultimately wrap together three nights worth of interviews, but give the first look at how the race is shaping up following Monday night’s caucuses in Iowa. Listen: Why Limbaugh Couldn’t Keep His Eyes off Bill During Hillary’s Speech- ‘I Saw…’

As did most of his colleagues, conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh dedicated much of his program on Tuesday to analysis of the Iowa caucuses held the prior evening. During one segment, the syndicated anchor discussed Hillary Clinton’s speech to supporters after eking out a razor-thin victory over rival Bernie Sanders.

Specifically, Limbaugh revealed his concern over the aged appearance of Clinton’s husband, former President Bill Clinton.

“I saw it all,” he said. “I saw Prep[aration] H, I saw Geritol, I saw Fixodent, I saw Depends, I saw it all. I saw dripping saliva. I saw it all, folks.”

He went on to call the scene both “astounding” and “frightening” before segueing into the candidate’s performance.

“And in front of him, Hillary’s running around screeching like a bunch of seagulls that have been starved out near Alcatraz for a while,” Limbaugh said.

Clinton’s post-caucus speech earned harsh reviews from other conservative pundits, including National Review’s Jim Geraghty, who wrote that the address marked the beginning of “Hillary Collapse 2.0.” (Read more from “Listen: Why Limbaugh Couldn’t Keep His Eyes off Bill During Hillary’s Speech- ‘I Saw…'” HERE)

Obama’s Growing Conflict of Interest in the Clinton E-Mail Scandal

The latest revelations regarding Hillary Clinton’s mishandling of classified information are stunning. For example, several of the former secretary of state’s “private” e-mails contain national-defense information so sensitive that it is classified at the highest levels.

Moreover, classified information so pervades the thousands of pages of e-mails communicated through and stored on Mrs. Clinton’s unsecured, homebrew server system that the court-ordered disclosure process has ground to a halt. Remember, Mrs. Clinton reviewed her e-mails before finally surrendering them to the State Department, and she initially insisted there was no classified information in them. Now, it turns out they were so threaded with classified information that the State Department and intelligence agencies have fallen hopelessly behind the court’s disclosure schedule: The task of reviewing the e-mails and redacting the portions whose publication could harm national security has proved much more complicated than anticipated. Thousands of remaining e-mails, and any embarrassing lapses they contain, will be withheld from voters until well into primary season.

So egregious have the scandal’s latest developments been that a critical State Department admission from last week has received almost no coverage: Eighteen e-mails between Mrs. Clinton and President Obama have been identified, and the government is refusing to disclose them.

The administration’s rationale is remarkable: Releasing them, the White House and State Department say, would compromise “the president’s ability to receive unvarnished advice and counsel” from top government officials. There’s Something Funny About Hillary’s Iowa Victory That Has Many Suspicious

By Jack Davis. Flipping a coin is supposed to be one of the fairest ways of making a decision, with an equal chance of the coin landing on heads or tails. However, when coins were flipped to decide a tight Iowa caucus races Monday night, things did not work out so evenly.

Coin flips were used to decide at least six counties in Monday’s Democratic caucuses, according to a report in the Des Moines Register. Each coin flip resulted in the awarding of one delegate. Using a coin flip to award delegates was not an impromptu decision, but part of the rules when precincts are deadlocked on a decision. As of Tuesday morning, different media sources were reporting different numbers of cases where a coin flip was used. In some cases, the coin flip was recorded on video.

However there was a common thread among all those cases where a coin flip was used. In all six instances where a coin toss was used to determine the winner of the delegate, Hillary Clinton won over Sen. Bernie Sanders . . .

TheBlaze did the math about the outcome of those coin flips and their significance in the overall tally.

“Clinton’s final delegate count was 699.57, according to the Iowa Democratic Party. Sanders’ was 695.49,” The Blaze reported. “If Sanders had won half of the coin tosses and split the six delegates three and three with Clinton, he would have finished at 698.49 delegates to Clinton’s 696.57.” (Read more from “There’s Something Funny About Hillary’s Iowa Victory That Has Many Suspicious” HERE)

Hillary Clinton Has the Most Statistically Improbable Coin-Toss Luck Ever

By Leigh Munsil. One of the most bizarre details to emerge from Monday’s Iowa caucuses was that in six Democratic counties, the ownership of six delegates was decided by a coin flip.

In all six instances, the coin toss was won by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton over Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders . . .

Now, get ready to do some math.

In a single coin toss, the probability of calling the toss correctly is 50 percent, or one in two. Heads or tails.

But the probably of winning every flip out of six flips is one in 64, or 1.56 percent. (Read more from “Hillary Clinton Has the Most Statistically Improbable Coin-Toss Luck Ever” HERE)

Former U.S. Spies Are ‘Horrified’ by Clinton’s Email Scandal – Here’s Why

By Deroy Murdock. Three veterans of American intelligence are horrified by the havoc that they believe former secretary of state Hillary Rodham Clinton caused through her epic abuse of state secrets in the E-Mailgate scandal . . .

In the anonymous words of this one-time American intelligence professional, here is some of the devastation likely caused by Clinton’s exposure of SAP secrets:

1. Intel officers responsible for those programs must be alerted.

2. Once alerted that SAP was mishandled and on a system that has been attacked, it is only prudent to end those programs.

3. What does ending those programs mean? Depending on the SAP involved, it could mean redoing war plans, terminating ongoing covert actions, rethinking how the exposed covert actions must be done and executing on that new plan, or, if it reveals a source, removing that source from his environment.

‘I Take Classified Information Seriously,’ Boasts Hillary, Despite Evidence

By John Hayward. “I take classified information seriously,” Hillary Clinton declared on CNN. “People are selectively leaking and making comments that have no basis in anything I’m aware of.”

Doubling down on this is shrewd politics, because Clinton’s guilt has been laid bare by the latest round of email revelations.

Her hope now is for pure political immunity, making herself too big to prosecute by sewing up the Democratic presidential nomination. Her highest priority is to reassure nervous Democrat voters and power brokers that she’ll survive the email scandal.

There is no real question that she violated security protocols, repeatedly, and a strong case to be made that she put lives in danger by doing so. (Read more from “‘I Take Classified Information Seriously,’ Boasts Hillary, Despite Evidence” HERE)

‘This Was All Planned’: More Unbelievable Revelations Made About Hillary, State Department

By Paul Sperry. The State Department is lying when it says it didn’t know until it was too late that Hillary Clinton was improperly using personal e-mails and a private server to conduct official business — because it never set up an agency e-mail address for her in the first place, the department’s former top watchdog says.

“This was all planned in advance” to skirt rules governing federal records management, said Howard J. Krongard, who served as the agency’s inspector general from 2005 to 2008.

The Harvard-educated lawyer points out that, from Day One, Clinton was never assigned and never used a state.gov e-mail address like previous secretaries.

“That’s a change in the standard. It tells me that this was premeditated. And this eliminates claims by the State Department that they were unaware of her private e-mail server until later,” Krongard said in an exclusive interview. “How else was she supposed to do business without e-mail?” (Read more from “‘This Was All Planned’: More Terrifying Revelations Made About Hillary, State Department” HERE)

State Won’t Release 18 Emails Between Clinton and Obama That Were on Her Private Server—but Says They Are Not Classified

By CNSNews.com Staff. State Department Spokesman John Kirby said at a briefing on Friday afternoon that the State Department will not be releasing 18 emails exchanged between President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton when she was secretary of state that have been found on Clinton’s private email server.

Kirby, however, said that these emails between the president and secretary of state “have not been determined to be classified.”

The government emails that were on Clinton’s private server have been requested in a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit.

In the same briefing, Kirby said that the State Department also would not be releasing seven email chains including 37 pages because these emails contain what he called “a category of top secret information.” (Read more from “State Won’t Release 18 Emails Between Clinton and Obama That Were on Her Private Server—but Says They Are Not Classified” HERE)

Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Marco Rubio Are Money Race Winners

For all the complaints from Democrats about the amount of big money in politics, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders have raised a staggering amount of cash.

Clinton’s campaign raised $112 million in 2015, and top Democratic billionaire donor George Soros recently gave $6 million to her super PAC, according to new figures filed with the Federal Election Commission Sunday night. Sanders, for his part, raised roughly $73 million last year, but as his insurgent candidacy gains momentum, he continues to bring in cash. The Vermont senator raised more than $20 million in January, his campaign said Sunday.

On the Republican side, front-runner Donald Trump has lent his campaign more than $12 million through the end of 2015. Yet while he consistently states he is not raising money, his campaign recorded donations worth over $2 million in the fourth quarter, according to the filing. Trump boasted at the end of the year he would begin spending $2 million per week — that spending is not included in Sunday’s report.

Trump can easily self-fund his campaign, but GOP contenders Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz still must hit the donor circuit. Rubio did well in the fourth quarter, raising $14 million — twice that of his Florida rival, Jeb Bush. His super PAC also won major donations from conservative hedge fund billionaires Paul Singer and Ken Griffin. And Cruz ended the year in a strong position. He raised $20.5 million in the last three months of 2015, ending with $18.7 million. (Read more from “Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Marco Rubio Are Money Race Winners” HERE)

Something Terrifying Was Just Revealed About Hillary Clinton’s Guard on Her Tour of Libya

By Laura Collins. A known Islamic terror suspect was placed in charge of Hillary Clinton’s local security detail during a trip by the US Secretary of State to Libya, Daily Mail Online can reveal.

The shocking security blunder occurred in October 2011 when Clinton made an unannounced visit to Libya following the toppling of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi.

Ironically the Secretary of State’s trip was shrouded in secrecy due to security concerns.

The trip was intended as a triumphant tour to show Mrs Clinton’s support for the Libyan people and build diplomatic ties at a torrid time. During her visit fierce fighting erupted in Sirte – the last stronghold of the country’s former leader.

Unwittingly flanked by a man known to British security forces as a member of the banned Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) and considered a threat to British and US national security Mrs Clinton held talks with top officials from the National Transitional Council (NTC) and spoke of her ‘pride’ at standing ‘on the soil of a free Tripoli.’ (Read more from “Something Terrifying Was Just Revealed About Hillary Clinton’s Guard on Her Tour of Libya” HERE)

Official: Some Clinton Emails ‘Too Damaging’ to Release

By Catherine Herridge and Pamela K. Browne. The intelligence community has deemed some of Hillary Clinton’s emails “too damaging” to national security to release under any circumstances, according to a U.S. government official close to the ongoing review. A second source, who was not authorized to speak on the record, backed up the finding.

The determination was first reported by Fox News, hours before the State Department formally announced Friday that seven email chains, found in 22 documents, will be withheld “in full” because they, in fact, contain “Top Secret” information.

The State Department, when first contacted by Fox News about withholding such emails Friday morning, did not dispute the reporting – but did not comment in detail. After a version of this report was first published, the Obama administration confirmed to the Associated Press that the seven email chains would be withheld. The department has since confirmed those details publicly. (Read more from “Official: Some Clinton Emails ‘Too Damaging’ to Release” HERE)

Former House Oversight Chairman: ‘FBI Director Would Like to Indict Clinton and Abedin’

By Gabby Morrongiello. California Congressman Darrell Issa, who previously led an investigation into Benghazi as former chairman of the House Oversight Committee, says the FBI “would like to indict both Huma [Abedin] and Hillary Clinton” for conducting sensitive government business on an unsecure, private email server.

“I think the FBI director would like to indict both Huma and Hillary as we speak,” the Republican heavyweight told the Washington Examiner Thursday, during a debate watch-party at Florida Sen. Marco Rubio’s New Hampshire campaign headquarters.

“I think he’s in a position where he’s being forced to triple-time make a case of what would otherwise be, what they call, a slam dunk,” Issa said, referring to FBI Director James Comey, who previously told the Senate Judiciary Committee he would conduct a “competent,” “honest” and “independent” probe into Clinton’s handling of classified information during her tenure as secretary of state.

Still, Issa suggested Clinton’s wrongdoing is obvious. (Read more from “Former House Oversight Chairman: ‘FBI Director Would Like to Indict Clinton and Abedin'” HERE)

‘McLaughlin Group’ Host Just Made a Huge Prediction About What the FBI Will Do to Hillary Over Email Scandal

By Ian Hanchett. Chicago Tribune Editorial Board member Clarence Page and “McLaughlin Group” host John McLaughlin predicted the FBI will recommend Democratic presidential candidate former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton face prosecution for mishandling classified information on Friday.

Hillary’s Team Copied Intel off Top-Secret Server to Email

By Paul Sperry. The FBI is investigating whether members of Hillary Clinton’s inner circle “cut and pasted” material from the government’s classified network so that it could be sent to her private e-mail address, former State Department security officials say.

Clinton and her top aides had access to a Pentagon-run classified network that goes up to the Secret level, as well as a separate system used for Top Secret communications.

The two systems — the Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) and Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS) — are not connected to the unclassified system, known as the Non-Classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet). You cannot e-mail from one system to the other, though you can use NIPRNet to send e-mails outside the government.

Somehow, highly classified information from SIPRNet, as well as even the super-secure JWICS, jumped from those closed systems to the open system and turned up in at least 1,340 of Clinton’s home e-mails — including several the CIA earlier this month flagged as containing ultra-secret Sensitive Compartmented Information and Special Access Programs, a subset of SCI.
