Justice Roy Moore: ‘I Hope We Don’t Have a War’ Over Supreme Court Decision Favoring Same-Sex Marriage [+videos]

Controversial Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore has warned that the Supreme Court’s decision in favor of same-sex marriage could lead to a new “war” in the United States. He made those fiery comments in an interview that was posted online on Monday.

In an interview posted on YouTube and conducted by “Voice of Resistance” host Randall Terry, Moore predicted that the Supreme Court’s decision on gay marriage would face “a great backlash” from the American people. He drew comparisons between the actions of the high court and King George III during the American Revolution.

“I hope we don’t have a war,” Moore said. “I hope we don’t have conflicts, but we definitely need to recognize that same-sex marriage is something that has not existed on a government level.”

Moore added that “people have not seen what the consequences of this court’s ruling are yet.” He also claimed that state governors can disregard the Supreme Court’s decision in their states . . .

According to Jacob Kerr of the Huffington Post, Moore ordered county probate judges to ignore a federal district court’s ruling that legalized same-sex marriage in Alabama in January. He later recused himself in March from an Alabama Supreme Court order to stop all same-sex marriages in the state.

Are Gays ‘Born That Way’? Most Americans Now Say Yes, but Science Conclusively Says No

For the first time, a majority of Americans say that homosexuals are “born that way.”

According to the latest Gallup poll, 51 percent of Americans say that people are born gay or lesbian, while only 30 percent say outside factors such as upbringing and environment determine sexual orientation.

However, science would not bear that out. No fewer than eight major studies from around the world have found homosexuality is not a genetic condition.

Peter Sprigg of the Family Research Council says that these numerous, rigorous studies of identical twins have now made it impossible to argue that there is a “gay gene.” If homosexuality were inborn and predetermined, then when one identical twin is homosexual, the other should be, as well.

Yet one study from Yale and Columbia Universities found homosexuality common to only 6.7 percent of male identical twins and 5.3 percent of female identical twins. (Read more from “Are Gays ‘Born That Way’? Most Americans Now Say Yes, but Science Says No” HERE)

Lesbian US Senator Says First Amendment Protects Free Exercise ONLY INSIDE of Churches, Synagogues and Mosques

Sen. Tammy Baldwin, D-WI – the nation’s first openly lesbian elected to the U.S. Senate – addressed the Supreme Court’s Obergefell v. Hodges decision on June 27 on MSNBC’s Up with Steve Kornacki.

“Should the bakery have to bake the cake for the gay couple getting married?” the host asked. “Where do you come down on that?”

Baldwin responded that the First Amendment gave Americans no right to exercise religion outside the sanctuary of their church, synagogue, or mosque.

“Certainly the First Amendment says that in institutions of faith that there is absolute power to, you know, to observe deeply held religious beliefs. But I don’t think it extends far beyond that,” she said.

Sen. Baldwin then likened the issue to the Obama administration’s contentious HHS mandate, requiring employers to furnish contraceptives, sterilization, and abortion-inducing drugs to female employees with no co-pay. Gay Rights Activist Arrested, Banned From International Travel, Assets Seized After Death Stemming From ‘Rainbow Party’ Fireball That Injured 500

Taiwan gay rights activist and “rainbow party” (Color Play) organizer Zhong Ji Lu was taken into custody by Taiwan police today for his role in the massive, deadly fireball that rained down upon 500 youth celebrating over the weekend. He was questioned and released on NT$1 million bail, with investigations pending.

Zhong Ji Lu is the key founder of Gay Rights Taiwan according to Storm Media Group in Taiwan. Mr. Lu is well known as a gay rights activist according to Liberty Times Net Taiwan. He’s also been the subject of top news on Pridewatch Taiwan as a gay rights activist. Since this link was first publicized, the Pridewatch Taiwan website has been down, likely due to the very large amount of traffic referred by Natural News.

The Color Play Creative Company and Rui Bo Marketing Agency are responsible for this tragedy, reports China Times. Both organizations are owned by Taiwan gay rights activist Zhong Ji Lu, who has been linked to numerous business scandals, according to the Times.

“…[P]rosecutors from New Taipei’s Bali District held event organizer Lu Chung-chi for questioning,” reports the English-language China Post. (The China Post uses a Taiwan spelling structure for Mandarin Chinese names, spelling his name as Chung-chi instead of the more conventional pin-ying spelling of “Zhong Ji.” The two spellings refer to the same person.) “He was later released after posting NT$1 million bail, though he must periodically report to police and is barred from leaving the country pending investigation. Police also released Chiu Po-ming, the technician at the company headed by Lu on NT$300,000 bail” . . .

The weekend catastrophe involved the spontaneous ignition of a multi-colored special effect which was launched into the air by event organizers using air cannons. The “special effect” turned out to be highly explosive particulate corn flour, the same substance frequently responsible for grain silo explosions in the grain belts of the world. The airborne corn flour ignited and burst into flames, raining down fire upon the heads of nearly 500 youth who were attending the event (Read more from “Gay Rights Activist Arrested, Banned From International Travel, Assets Seized After Death Stemming From ‘Rainbow Party’ Fireball That Injured 500” HERE)

Gay Activists Put up Version of Iwo Jima Photo; ‘Jennifer Aniston’ Posts a Bold Response

The Battle of Iwo Jima was a pivotal battle in World War II when U.S. Marines won the weeks-long assault to capture the strategically key spot in the Pacific island archipelago. Almost 6,000 Marines and Navy corpsmen died and 17,000 were wounded.

The victory was sealed with the iconic raising of the American flag on Mt. Suribachi:

In recent years, there has been an image floating around the internet which was found on a Facebook page that claims to be actress Jennifer Aniston, but is not a verified account . . .

[The post reads:]

“Now… I have nothing against people who are into same sex partnerships. However what I do have a problem with is this F**KING picture. How dare you compare your political struggle to what the Marines & Navy Corpsman went through on Iwo Jima. I get the whole meaning of you winning the “Uphill Battle” but this is tasteless, offensive, and disrespectful to those who gave their lives on that hill. You should be ashamed of yourselves for being hypocritical of those you claim offend your flag.”

Hidden Camera: Homosexuals Admit This Major Thing About Their Sexuality

A documentary video that seeks to influence the Supreme Court justices as they rule on marriage features an undercover investigation that challenges the belief that “gays” are “born that way” and, therefore, should be granted special rights.

Equipped with a hidden camera, journalist Ryan Sorba went to a “gay” bar where he recorded candid answers to his questions. He found many men who identify as “gay” were molested as a youth.

He contends his findings have implications for the high court as it decides whether or not the traditional definition of marriage discriminates against people who identify as “gay.”

Many of the “gays” he interviewed, he says, not only were molested in their youth but went on to become molesters themselves.

In the opening of his documentary, Sorba says, “I interviewed individuals at an average gay bar on an average night and I discovered that I was literally surrounded by child molesters and victims of molestation.” (Read more from “Hidden Camera: Homnosexuals Admit This Major Thing About Their Sexuality” HERE)

Fearing Another Lawsuit, Christian Business Owners Stopped Hosting All Weddings, Now Their Business Is Dead

Charged with discriminating against a gay couple, the owners of another Christian family-run business are being forced to shut their doors.

“We can’t pretend it’s going to get better,” Betty Odgaard told The Daily Signal in an exclusive interview. “There wasn’t enough business.”

Betty and her husband, Richard, are the owners of Görtz Haus Gallery in Grimes, Iowa. In 2002, they purchased the 77-year-old stone church and transformed it into a bistro, flower shop, art gallery and wedding venue.

On August 3, 2013, a gay couple from Des Moines asked to rent Görtz Haus for their wedding.

Because of their Mennonite faith, the Odgaards told the couple they could not host their wedding.

Within 24 hours, the couple filed a discrimination complaint through the Iowa Civil Rights Commission.

“We knew that the business was going to be in trouble almost immediately,” Richard, 69, said. “We had to get rid of the wedding business to avoid another complaint and possibly a higher penalty.”

The Odgaards never admitted to any discrimination, but agreed to a $5,000 settlement.

They also returned two non-refundable deposits for couples who, after hearing media reports, didn’t want to use their space for their weddings anymore.

“It was just the right thing to do,” Richard said.

Going On Life Support

After leaving the wedding business, Görtz Haus went on life support.

If they continued to offer wedding-related services, the Odgaards knew they could be subject to another discrimination complaint.

“We didn’t have a choice,” Betty, 63 said. “We would be targets.”

Around town, Görtz Haus became known as the business that refuses to serve gays.

If a group of ladies went to lunch and one disagreed with their opinion not to host same-sex weddings, the entire group boycotted the bistro, the Odgaards explained.

“They didn’t come in because the people who are against us are more vocal than the people who are in our court,” Richard said.

Betty said the situation drove her into a “really dark depression”—so bad, that she had to seek the help of professionals.

“I’m a melancholy artist and no stranger to depression, but this took me down to the darkest I’ve ever been before,” she said.

The case was the first of its kind in Iowa, but it didn’t receive the same sort of media attention as the bakers in Oregon, the photographers in New Mexico or the farmers in New York.

The couple says that’s because pending litigation prevented them from being able to speak out, further isolating them from their community.

“We didn’t get the Chick-fil-A response,” Richard half-heartedly joked.

Iowa’s Involvement

The Odgaards don’t blame the gay community for shutting them down, but rather, the state of Iowa.

“I think if people in Iowa would have had a chance to vote on this, it would have never have been this way. People in Iowa are pretty conservative,” Betty said.

“With the discrimination laws and the legality of same-sex marriage in this state, now you have to prove that you didn’t discriminate,” added Richard.

The Odgaards also feel they never got their day in court, and had the case turned out differently, they might not have been driven out of business.

“This was all administrative judgement,” Richard said. “The [gay couple] had a platform to file their case and we didn’t get our day in court with a jury of our peers.”

Like the other lawsuits involving charges of discrimination, complaints are filed—and judged—in the Iowa Civil Rights Commission.

“We knew what the outcome was going to be, the judge knew what the outcome was going to be, but we had to go through it,” Richard said.

Originally, the gay couple asked for $10,000, but lawyers for the Odgaards at The Becket Fund for Religious Liberty were able to negotiate a settlement for half that amount.

“Now the precedent has been set,” Richard said. “The administrative process has demonstrated what it will do if this happens, so it’s a matter of setting somebody up and collecting money. It’s that simple. It’s all they have to do.”

Moving On

Yesterday, the Odgaards spent the day calling vendors and sharing the news that by the end of August, they’ll be closed completely.

“We have to look on the positive side, but just telling our family what we are doing, telling vendors the decision that we’ve made, it’s been very tough,” Betty said.

The couple has decided to take their story and use it to advocate for Christian teachings by creating God’s Original Design Ministry.

With the ministry, they hope to promote the importance of religious liberty, “regardless of what your religion is,” Richard said.

They received their nonprofit status earlier than expected, which they took as a sign from God.

As for the future of Görtz Haus, the Odgaards hope that it will return to its original function: a church.

“That would be the most wonderful option,” Betty said. (“Fearing Another Lawsuit, Christian Business Owners Stopped Hosting All Weddings. Now Their Business Is Dead”, originally posted HERE)

Public School LGBT Programs Don’t Just Trample Parental Rights, They Also Put Kids at Risk

Through his executive appointments, President Obama has helped expose American schoolchildren to activism that places them at risk.

On May 19, 2009, a few short months after his inauguration, Obama gave the green light to Secretary of Education Arne Duncan to appoint Kevin Jennings to a top position to influence school policy: the post of Assistant Deputy Secretary for the Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools, also known as the “safe schools czar.” Jennings, a powerful LGBT rights activist who is himself a gay man, was the founder of the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN). GLSEN is one of the largest LGBT activist organizations in the nation and is devoted to promoting homosexuality in K-12 schools. Jennings served as “safe schools czar” from 2009-2011.

[Listen to the author’s compelling discussion of his own experiences here:]

Given his connection with the organization, we should not be shocked to discover that GLSEN received a grant from the Centers for Disease Control in 2011 for $1.425 million over five years to promote the LGBT agenda in public schools at taxpayers’ expense. Through these publicly funded in-school programs, kids are being bombarded with the message that same-sex attraction and gender-identity confusion are innate and therefore not changeable.

Those who design these programs probably believe that they are offering hope to children who may feel different, flawed, or unlovable. They believe that if they affirm children’s LGBT identities as something positive, something that makes up the core of who they are, the children will fare better.

This is not the case. No matter what well-intentioned teachers and administrators believe, these programs ultimately entail an agenda that hurts kids. The messages these programs send do nothing to combat the tragically high suicide rates among the LGBT community. Data indicate that kids are actually put at risk when schools encourage them to identify themselves as gay or transgender at an early age. For each year children delay labeling themselves as LGBT, their suicide risk is reduced by 20 percent. Repulsive Display of Child Abuse: Young Boy Grinds, Twerks at Gay Pride Festival While Bystanders Watch [+video]

A young boy was filmed grinding and twerking at a Gay Pride event, while a group of attendees stood around him and watched.

In the controversial video (below), the boy was seen with his shirt off and wearing shorts while dancing in the middle of a circle of people. The onlookers encouraged the child as he grinded and twerked to the music playing throughout the festival . . .

“If this were a 12 year old girl, everybody would be sh**ting all over the parents and the festivalgoers encouraging them,” one viewer wrote on Reddit. “The fact that it’s a boy doesn’t make it somehow acceptable.”
