Search Warrant Released in Idaho College Murders as Cops Reveal What Was Found in Suspect’s Apartment

A Washington court has unsealed the search warrants for the office and apartment of University of Idaho stabbing suspect Bryan Kohberger, a 28-year-old Washington State University Ph.D. student accused of murdering four undergrads in nearby Moscow, Idaho.

A search of his office in the school’s department of criminal justice and criminology turned up nothing, according to the filings, but police found hair samples, fabric with dark red stains, and a single black glove and other evidence at his apartment. . .

In the newly unveiled filings, investigators described previously undisclosed evidence they were seeking, including blood, DNA, shoes with diamond-pattern soles and “data compilations” of information about the victims and the King Road house where they were killed. . .

The warrants allege that Kohberger pre-planned the ambush and had studied other murders and how to avoid detection as part of his preparations.

“These murders appear to have been planned, rather than a crime that happened in a moment of conflict,” an affidavit seeking the search warrant reads. (Read more from “Search Warrant Released in Idaho College Murders as Cops Reveal What Was Found in Suspect’s Apartment” HERE)

Report: Suspect in Idaho Student Killings Had ‘Little Remorse’ as Teenager (VIDEO)

The man accused of fatally stabbing four University of Idaho students reportedly shared dark thoughts online when he was a young person.

The suspect apparently wrote about being unable to feel emotion and claiming he could do “whatever I want with little remorse,” the New York Times reported Friday:

The new revelations about the suspect, Bryan Kohberger, come from posts he made on an online forum in which he discussed his mental health struggles, as well as from interviews with those who knew him and messages he sent to friends that were obtained by The New York Times. They paint a portrait of an anxious, isolated and depressed teenager who turned to heroin use before eventually getting clean and becoming fascinated with studying criminal psychology, saying then that he hoped to one day provide counseling for high-profile criminals.

Woman Describes Eerie Tinder Date With Idaho Murder Suspect Bryan Kohberger

Hayley Willette says she had not been closely following the latest developments in the case of the four University of Idaho students who were murdered inside their campus home when she came across a news article last week about the grisly crime.

As Willette was reading the story in a small Pennsylvania news outlet, detailing the scene where Bryan Kohberger had been arrested on Dec. 30, the 26-year-old OB/GYN nurse stumbled upon the suspect’s mugshot. That’s when she says she realized that Kohberger was the same man she went on an uncomfortable December 2015 Tinder date with when she was in college. . .

Willette said that after matching on Tinder, the pair went to go see an action movie before Kohberger drove her back to her dorm at Penn State Hazleton. Once back on campus and briefly talking inside his car, she said, Kohberger “started being really pushy about coming” into her room to watch another movie. She said that while she initially agreed, she later pretended to “loudly throw up” in the bathroom before Kohberger—who she said was waiting for her outside the bathroom door—left.

“After an hour or so of him being gone, he messaged me and said I had good birthing hips and I just never messaged back,” she added.

Willette first detailed her story about a strange date with one of the most notorious murder suspects in America in a series of TikToks beginning on Sunday evening. Kohberger’s lawyers did not immediately respond to a request for comment for this story. (Read more from “Woman Describes Eerie Tinder Date With Idaho Murder Suspect Bryan Kohberger” HERE)

Ex-FBI Agent Says Idaho Murder Suspect May Have Used Anonymous Online Account to Talk About Crimes

A former FBI agent says an anonymous Facebook account’s eerily accurate speculations about the Idaho slayings may have been posted by murder suspect Bryan Kohberger.

An account named “Pappa Rodger” made predictions about the murder investigation in a public Facebook group well in advance of those details becoming public, said retired FBI agent Jennifer Coffindaffer, prompting her to consider that Mr. Kohberger could have been the account owner.

The comment in question was posted Nov. 30, when Pappa Rodger wrote: “Of the evidence released, the murder weapon has been consistent as a large fixed-blade knife. This leads me to believe they found the sheath. This evidence was released prior to autopsies.” (Read more from “Ex-FBI Agent Says Idaho Murder Suspect May Have Used Anonymous Online Account to Talk About Crimes” HERE)

Authorities Release Chilling Details in Case Against Idaho Murder Suspect

We now know more about the evidence investigators in Idaho collected following the murders of four University of Idaho students that led authorities to seek the arrest of Bryan Kohberger as a suspect, thanks to a just-unsealed probable cause affidavit that outlines the case authorities have built.

The 19-page document explains what the Moscow, Idaho, police found when they entered the residence of the students and found Madison Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin murdered.

In addition to the victims, authorities found “a tan leather knife sheath” stamped with “Ka-Bar,” “USMC,” and the U.S. Marine Corps insignia. On that knife sheath, the Idaho State Crime Lab identified a single source of male DNA contained on the snap as a “suspect profile.” . . .

A roommate identified as “D.M.” in the affidavit told police that “she was awoken at approximately 4:00 a.m. by what she stated sounded like Goncalves playing with her dog in one of the upstairs bedrooms.” D.M. also said that “a short time later…she heard who she thought was Goncalves say something to the effect of ‘there’s someone here.'”

The affidavit continues, saying D.M. “looked out of her bedroom but did not see anything when she heard the comment about someone being in the House. D.M. stated she opened her door a second time when she heard what she thought was crying coming from Kernodle’s room. D.M. then said she heard a male voice say something to the effect of ‘it’s ok, I’m going to help you.'” (Read more from “Authorities Release Chilling Details in Case Against Idaho Murder Suspect” HERE)

Everything That’s Been Revealed About Alleged Idaho Student Killer Since His Arrest Last Week

Bryan Kohberger was a “creepy” loner who went from being “perpetually exhausted” to eerily “chattier” after his alleged slaughter of four Idaho college students, chilling new details reveal. . .

Kohberger grew up in the Poconos with his parents and sister — and underwent radical changes during his later teenage years.

At Pleasant Valley High School, the suspect was known as an awkward “creep” and “outcast” who repelled girls and reportedly struggled with a heroin addiction. . .

In 2022, he received a master of arts in criminal justice from DeSales University in Center Valley, Pa. After his arrest, the university said it is “devastated by this senseless tragedy,” while a former professor didn’t hold back her praise of her now-infamous ex-pupil.

“He was one of my best students ever,” said Michelle Bolger, 33, an associate professor at DeSales. (Read more from “Everything That’s Been Revealed About Alleged Idaho Student Killer Since His Arrest Last Week” HERE)

University of Idaho Quadruple Murder Suspect Is ‘Obsessively Vegan’ and Constantly ‘Looked Drugged at School’ as Teen

The man currently in custody in connection to the murder of four University of Idaho students last month is reportedly an “obsessive vegan” who regularly “looked drugged” while attending school as a teen, RadarOnline.com has learned. . .

According to newly surfaced details about the suspect, Kohberger is a Libertarian and “obsessive vegan” who refused to use the same pot if it had previously been used to cook meat.

“It was above and beyond being vegan,” one relative told the New York Post after Kohberger’s arrest Friday. “His aunt and uncle had to buy new pots and pans because he would not eat from anything that had ever had meat cooked in them.”

“He seemed very OCD,” the relative added. . .

“He would always look bugged-eyed like on drugs and nobody in the class really [ever] talked to him,” added another former classmate, “that’s why he only went for 2 years and left without taking the final exam.” (Read more from “University of Idaho Quadruple Murder Suspect Bryan Kohberger Is ‘Obsessively Vegan’ and Constantly ‘Looked Drugged at School’ as Teen” HERE)

Police Believe Idaho Murder Suspect Acted Alone

Police officials believe the suspect who allegedly killed the four Idaho college students acted alone.

Idaho police chief James Fry speculates that suspect Bryan Kohberger is responsible for the murder of Ethan Chapin, 20, Xana Kernodle, 20, Kaylee Goncalves, 21, and Madison Mogen, 21.

“We truly believe we have the individual that committed these crimes,” Fry said, adding that he doesn’t believe the 28 year old had any accomplices.

The father of Goncalves reportedly sees a connection between his daughter and the suspect. However, he said that he is not ready to yet talk about the how the 21 year old is linked to Kohberger. (Read more from “Police Believe Idaho Murder Suspect Acted Alone” HERE)

Alleged Suspect in Idaho Slayings Was Reportedly Studying Criminology

The alleged suspect arrested Friday in connection with the slayings of four University of Idaho students was reportedly studying criminology at a nearby university.

Authorities arrested 28-year-old Bryan Christopher Kohberger in Scranton, Pennsylvania, in the early hours of the morning. He was wanted on a warrant for first degree murder, according to NPR.

Kohberger was reportedly a student at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington, studying criminology, NPR reported, noting the university’s Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology listed a Ph.D. student by the same name. The university is less than 10 miles from the University of Idaho. Kohberger appeared to have been pursuing a doctorate in the subject after seemingly receiving a master of arts in criminal justice from DeSales University in 2022, the New York Post reported.

Screenshots circulating on social media are reportedly taken from Kohberger’s Reddit page, where he allegedly asked former prisoners to participate in a criminology study during his time at DeSales. (Read more from “Alleged Suspect in Idaho Slayings Was Reportedly Studying Criminology” HERE)
