New Details Emerge in Ilhan Omar’s Marriage Scandal

New details involving far-left Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) marital scandal emerged on Friday after a British publication reported that Omar is paying her ex-husband to stay quiet about her alleged affair.

The Daily Mail reported that Omar’s husband, Ahmed Hirsi, “discovered the truth about her torrid affair with her chief fundraiser [Tim Mynett] when he went to her Washington D.C. apartment last spring and found the lovers lounging around in pajamas.” . . .

“He suspected she was cheating but she kept telling him he was paranoid,” a source told The Daily Mail. “He told her he wanted to move down to D.C. to be with her but she insisted he should stay in Minneapolis with the children. Eventually he surprised her down there and his worst fears were confirmed.”

Sources told The Daily Mail that Omar allegedly agreed to a financial settlement with Hirsi that would pay him tens of thousands of dollars per year, up to $250,000 total, “but only if he did not speak publicly about the marriage breakdown.” . . .

The source said that the embarrassment that Omar has caused the Somalia community comes from the alleged affair, her decision to hold an event at a distillery, and her embrace of LGBT rights. (Read more from “New Details Emerge in Ilhan Omar’s Marriage Scandal” HERE)

Omar Paid Additional $215,000 From Campaign Coffers to Alleged Boyfriend’s Firm

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.) continues to push campaign cash to a firm run by her alleged boyfriend, filings show.

Omar’s new committee filings submitted Friday morning show that between Oct. 1 and Dec. 31, 2019, her committee made $215,000 in additional payments to the E Street Group, a firm run by political consultant Tim Mynett, Omar’s alleged boyfriend. The payments were reported as going toward consulting, direct mail, research services, travel expenses, advertisements, and graphic design.

The new payments mark another increase in money funneled to the firm. Mynett’s group is yet again the highest-paid vendor from Omar’s campaign.

The committee reported hauling in $403,000 in individual contributions while disbursing $404,000 over the last three months of 2019. The $215,000 paid to Mynett’s group for its services accounts for 53 percent of the total disbursements from the campaign during this time.

Over the first three quarters of 2019, Omar’s campaign paid out a total of $310,000 to the E Street Group. Accounting for the fourth-quarter payments, Mynett’s firm collected a total of $525,000 from Omar’s campaign in 2019. Ilhan Omar Introduces Bill to Block Trump From Implementing ‘Muslim Ban’

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) introduced a bill intended to remove the legal justification for a “Muslim ban,” which President Donald Trump promised during his 2016 presidential election.

Omar released a statement on Thursday about the bill that would repeal the Alien Enemies Act, which the president used as precedent to justify his travel ban.

“This outdated and xenophobic law is an offense to our values as a nation, which should stand as a refuge for those fleeing violence and persecution,” Omar said.

“It is a perfect example of outdated immigration laws that are being exploited and abused by this Administration. As the President seeks to expand the Muslim Ban, we must close policy loopholes that he can exploit to cause harm to our neighbors, our country and the values that we hold dear,” she continued.

“We must learn from historical mistakes built on fear of the other and embrace a fair and just immigration system by repealing the Alien Enemies Act,” Omar concluded. (Read more from “Ilhan Omar Introduces Bill to Block Trump From Implementing ‘Muslim Ban'” HERE)

Finally. the Feds — Including ICE — Appear to Be Investigating Rep. Ilhan Omar

On Oct. 30, I reported that the Department of Justice had assigned an FBI Special Agent in Charge, or SAC, to review Rep. Ilhan Omar’s apparent, astonishing spree of felonies from 2009 to 2017.

Minnesota state Rep. Steve Drazkowski (R) had previously filed a complaint on the matter with the Minnesota District of the Department of Justice. That office — headed by U.S. Attorney Erica MacDonald, a 2018 Donald Trump appointee — directed the FBI to review the complaint. An FBI SAC formally met with Rep. Drazkowski, and others, in mid-October to receive a prepared file of evidence and related information. . .

In October, the FBI SAC stated that the wide range of criminal activity suggested by the evidence against Rep. Omar may lead the FBI to expand the review to other federal departments. In such situations, the SAC continued, the FBI often acts as a hub — sharing evidence, or coordinating a joint investigation, with several other investigative agencies. . .

Since August 2016, the remarkable story of Rep. Ilhan Omar’s past has produced scarce political, law enforcement, or media activity. A near-perfect inversion of the Trump/”Russian collusion” yarn, with which it is inseparable. . .

Concurrently — in August 2016 — Minnesota reporters Scott Johnson and Preya Samsundar were publishing extensive, verified, still-unchallenged evidence implicating Rep. Omar in multiple felonies. Their exponentially more substantial evidence was ignored by the Democratic Party and supportive media. Their evidence was even ignored by law enforcement, per an extraordinary public dismissal shortly before Omar’s 2016 election to the Minnesota House of Representatives. WATCH: Omar Laughs While Colleague Discusses Deaths of U.S. Troops

Conservatives on Wednesday criticized Rep. Ilhan Omar after she was seen laughing while her Democratic colleague, Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee, spoke about the deaths of American soldiers in the Iraq War.

“I’m very glad to say that I was part of the 132 and also the vote for Barbara Lee’s amendment, but I think that the point of that is that that is the same war that we’re dealing with today,” Lee said in a video surfaced by the RNC Research Twitter account. “We never solved any problems with AUMF, we left four thousand plus, maybe even forty four hundred dead, and over sixty thousand who came back injured in some form and the war never ended.”

Omar could be seen in the background smiling and smirking as Jackson-Lee spoke. . .

Jackson-Lee made the remarks during a press conference held by the Congressional Progressive Caucus following a classified briefing with Trump administration officials.

Congressional Democrats slammed President Donald Trump’s ordering of a drone strike, which resulted in the death of Iranian military commander Qassem Soleimani last week.

WATCH: Ilhan Omar Says President Trump Imposed Sanctions to ‘Starve’ the People of Iran. She Wants Sanctions Against Israel.

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) claimed during a press conference Wednesday that the U.S. sanctions against Iran re-imposed by President Donald Trump were intended to “starve” the regime’s people, causing observers to note her longstanding calls for sanctions against Israel. . .

“Since he got into office, the President of the United States has been goading Iran into war,” Omar said of President Trump. “First, he cancelled our best shot at avoiding armed conflict — the Iran Nuclear Deal — then he announced crippling sanctions to starve the innocent people of Iran.”

GOP Rapid Response Director Steve Guest posted a clip of Omar’s remarks on Twitter, saying, “You can’t make this up. 2019 Anti-Semite of the Year Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar condemns ‘crippling’ Iranian sanctions despite being an avid supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement against Israel.”

Ilhan Omar Is Called an ADULTERESS in Court as Her Democratic Aide Lover and His Wife Formally Divorce

Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar was called an adulteress in divorce court Thursday by her lover’s former wife as the couple formally ended their marriage.

Beth Jordan said she wanted to ‘make a statement’ about her husband Tim Mynett having an affair with the radical Democrat, during the 16-minute hearing in Washington D.C. . .

‘I have a statement to make,’ Jordan said, saying that her husband ‘had an affair with Ilhan Omar.’

Judge Darlene Soltys cut her off and called both attorneys for a sidebar.

After it ended the judge abruptly told the parties: ‘Thank you. Have a nice afternoon,’ bringing a curtain down on the seven-year marriage. (Read more from “Ilhan Omar Is Called an ADULTERESS in Court as Her Democratic Aide Lover and His Wife Formally Divorce” HERE)

Ilhan Omar Has Freak out on House Floor (VIDEO)

Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar was reportedly caught on audio yelling “Stop it!” multiple times during Wednesday night’s impeachment proceedings as House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy brought up a fellow “Squad” member’s prior comments about impeachment.

“Democrats have wanted to impeach President Trump since the day he was elected, and nothing was going to get in the way, certainly not the truth,” McCarthy said. “Madam speaker, Chairman Schiff said he had evidence, more than circumstantial, of collusion. That was false. In January, where we all stood in this body, we stood up, we raised our hands, we swore that we’d uphold the Constitution.”

After a round of applause presumably from fellow House Republicans, McCarthy brought up Tlaib’s comments to supporters, spoken shortly after being elected, about helping fellow Democrats “impeach the mother f**ker.” . . .

At which point someone, later reportedly identified by PBS Newshour senior reporter Daniel Bush and others as Rep. Omar, could be heard yelling “Stop it!” at least three times.

Ilhan Omar Denies Being ‘Qatari Asset’; How a Fake Imam, the Krassenstein Brothers and a Canadian Played Roles in a Dubious Story About Ilhan Omar and Qatar

By Jerusalem Post. Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-Minnesota-5th) was recruited by a foreign government, received funding from a foreign government, and passed sensitive information through intermediaries to Iran, a Florida court has been told, as The Jerusalem Post confirmed.

Speaking to the Post, the office of the Congresswoman denied the allegations.

The claims came during testimony by Kuwati-born Canadian businessman Alan Bender, who was giving evidence in the trial of Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad al-Thani. The Qatari emir’s brother stands accused of ordering his American bodyguard to murder two people, and of holding an American citizen hostage. His deposition, obtained by Al Arabiya English, was authenticated by the attorney for the plaintiffs, according to the publication.

Speaking from Toronto by video link, Bender told the Florida District Court that he met with Qatar’s Secretary to the Emir for Security Affairs Mohammad bin Ahmed bin Abdullah al-Masnad and two other senior Qatari officials.

According to his sworn deposition, the three officials told him: “If it wasn’t for our cash, Ilhan Omar would be just another black Somali refugee in America collecting welfare and serving tables on weekends.” (Read more from “Ilhan Omar Denies Being ‘Qatari Asset,’ Despite Witness Report” HERE)

How a Fake Imam, the Krassenstein Brothers and a Canadian Played Roles in a Dubious Story About Ilhan Omar and Qatar

By Daily Caller. Foreign elements are pushing a dubious story, targeted at American conservatives, that Ilhan Omar is a secret agent of the nation of Qatar. . .

Mohamad Tawhidi, an Australian Muslim with a large social media following under the handle “Imam of Peace,” has been pushing the idea that Omar is connected to Qatar for months.

Tawhidi also spuriously accused a journalist at the DCNF of being on the payroll of Qatar for not quickly and uncritically printing storylines pushed by him, despite the DCNF repeatedly covering misdeeds by Qatar. He falsely claimed that any hesitation was because of an editor “who I can confirm works for Qatar…. It took me 48 hours to find out.” . . .

As the evidence-free story of Omar as a secret foreign agent spread on social media, the cast of characters got even odder as the Krassenstein brothers got involved.

The left-wing brothers previously allegedly ran Ponzi schemes and online financial scams, and in 2017 law enforcement seized nearly half a million dollars from them, contending it was derived from wire fraud, the Daily Beast reported. Ilhan Omar’s Reason for Not Condemning the Armenian Genocide Is Getting Criticism From the Left and Right

The following is an excerpt from Blaze Media’s Capitol Hill Brief email newsletter:

In what was meant to be taken as a jab at Turkey over the country’s recent actions in Syria, an overwhelming majority of the House of Representatives voted to pass a resolution condemning the Ottoman Turks’ World War I genocide of Armenians. Turkey has long disputed the use of the term “genocide” to describe what happened.

Rep. Ilhan Omar — who has previously faced criticism over her closed-door 2017 meeting with Turkey’s dictator — voted “present” and was only one of two Democrats not to vote in favor of the resolution. Her reason for doing so is drawing a lot of criticism.

Omar defended the move in a statement saying, “I believe accountability for human rights violations—especially ethnic cleansing and genocide—is paramount. But accountability and recognition of genocide should not be used as cudgel in a political fight.” She also said, “A true acknowledgment of historical crimes against humanity must include both the heinous genocides of the 20th century, along with earlier mass slaughters like the transatlantic slave trade and Native American genocide.”

The explanation was panned both on social media — including by left-leaning pundits — and in her home state of Minnesota. Rev. Tadeos Barseghyan, pastor at St. Sahag Armenian Church in St. Paul, voiced his disappointment with Omar, asking “Is there a right or wrong time to … stand up for justice that she claims to be a champion for?”
