Top Turkish Ally Donates to Ilhan Omar’s Campaign

A top ally of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met far-left Democrat Ilhan Omar (MN) last month and donated a large sum of money to her campaign, a revelation that comes one day after Omar refused to sanction Turkey for their actions in northern Syria and refused to recognize the Armenian Genocide, which was committed by Turkey.

Halil Mutlu, who is the co-chairman of the Turkish American Steering Committee (TSAC), donated $1,500 last month to Omar’s campaign.

“Founded in 2015, TASC has orchestrated a public relations push to cast doubt on whether the Ottoman empire committed genocide against Armenians more than a century ago,” The Daily Caller News Foundation’s (DCNF) Chuck Ross reported. TSAC is “a U.S.-based nonprofit that has for years waged public relations campaigns in support of Turkish government policies and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan … [and] maintains close ties to Erdogan, routinely hosting the Turkish president during his visits to the U.S., including on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly last month.”

The DCNF added that Mutlu, who is reportedly Erdogan’s cousin from Connecticut, made the $1,500 contribution to Omar’s campaign on at the end of last month and was featured in a photograph with her.

On Tuesday, Omar was one of the only members of Congress that did not vote to recognize the Armenian Genocide and was the only Democrat member of Congress to vote against sanctioning Turkey for their actions in northern Syria. Report: Ilhan Omar and Boyfriend Share Nights at ‘Secret’ D.C. Apartment

Freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) has reportedly been living “on and off” at a “secret” Washington, D.C., apartment with her rumored Democrat consultant boyfriend after denying for months that she and her husband were no longer together.

The Daily Mail reported Monday that Omar and Tim Mynett have been seeing each other when Minnesota Democrat is in town, publishing several photos of the two both entering and leaving a D.C. apartment, separately. Mynett, whose wife recently filed for divorce from the political strategist after he allegedly confessed his love for Omar, spent at least six nights with the Minnesota Democrat in September, according to the Mail‘s surveillance. Omar filed for divorce from Ahmed Hirsi, the father of her three children, in a Minnesota courthouse earlier this month.

The Daily Mail shares “photographic evidence” of its claims, including pictures of Omar entering the passenger seat of a blue Mustang which Mynett is purportedly driving. . .

Despite the Mail‘s continued reporting, both Omar and Mynett have both vehemently denied carrying out an extramarital affair together, while questions have arisen about the pair’s business dealings. Since 2018, Omar has paid nearly $230,000 in campaign funds in consulting fees and travel expenses to Mynett’s political consulting company E Street Group.

The arrangement prompted the National Legal and Policy Center (NLPC) to file a complaint with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) in which the group alleges the congresswoman illegally used campaign money to help carry on an affair with Mynett. FEC guidelines prohibit lawmakers from using campaign money for personal travel expenses unless the candidate pays the money back with their personal funds. Ilhan Omar Files for Divorce, Blames the Media

On Tuesday’s radio program, Glenn Beck and Stu Burguiere discussed the details of Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-Minn.) impending divorce from Ahmed Hirsi, the father of her three children, amid allegations that she has been having an affair with D.C.-based political consultant Tim Mynett.

The Minnesota Rep. filed for divorce on Friday, her 37th birthday, in Minnesota, claiming “an irretrievable breakdown of the marriage relationship.”

Omar and Hirsi first married in “faith tradition” (not legally) in 2002. The two separated in 2008, shortly before Omar legally married Ahmed Elmi, the man alleged to be her brother. In 2017, Omar legally divorced Elmi, and then remarried Hirsi in 2018, this time legally.

In August 2019, the New York Post reported that a D.C.-based doctor, Beth Mynett, filed for divorce from her husband, Tim Mynett, after he admitted to having an affair with Omar. Media Ignores Deleted Tweet by Ilhan Omar that Suggests She Married Her Brother

A deleted tweet by Rep. Ilhan Omar that recently came to light shows her wishing a happy birthday to her father — a man with the same name as her brother.

It had been alleged that Omar married her brother in 2009 in order to ease his entrance to America. She identified the man she married, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, only as a “British citizen.”

But in 2013, Omar tweeted out birthday greetings to her father. The Washington Free Beacon’s Brent Scher points out the significance of the now-deleted tweet.

The 2013 post by Omar wishing a Happy Father’s Day to a man named “Nur Said” resurfaced late Monday night when Imam Mohamad Tawhidi pointed to it as further evidence that Omar’s previous husband, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, was her brother. In Somali culture, a man’s middle name is typically the name of his father. Omar deleted the tweet revealing her father’s name on Tuesday at 5:23 a.m., according to ProPublica’s tracker of deleted tweets.

Indeed, it’s not ironclad proof that Omar married her brother to knowingly violate immigration laws. “Nur Said” may be a very common name in Somalia. Even if it isn’t common, proving that Omar’s former husband was actually her brother wouldn’t be certain without a DNA test or reliable eyewitness testimony. WATCH: Omar Suggests She Was a VICTIM of 9/11

Far-left Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) refused to acknowledge on Sunday that her remarks trivializing the September 11, 2001, Islamic terrorist attacks that killed thousands of innocent Americans were offensive and went so far as to suggest that she, herself, was a victim of the attack.

Omar, appearing on CBS News’ “Face The Nation” with host Margaret Brennan, was asked by Brennan about her description of the terrorist attacks as “some people did something.” . . .

Omar danced around the question, refusing to answer it while suggesting that she was a victim of 9/11: “I mean so, 9/11 was an attack on all Americans. It was an attack on all of us. And I certainly could not understand the weight of the pain that the victims of the- the families of 9/11 must feel.”

“But I think it is really important for us to make sure that we are not forgetting, right, the aftermath of what happened after 9/11,” Omar continued. “Many Americans found themselves now having their civil rights stripped from them. And so what I was speaking to was the fact that as a Muslim, not only was I suffering as an American who was attacked on that day, but the next day I woke up as my fellow Americans were now treating me a suspect.”

Wow: Speaker at 9/11 Ceremony Calls out Ilhan Omar

Today marks the 18th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terror attacks, when Al Qaeda terrorists crashed planes into the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon, killing nearly 3,000 people. Or, as Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) likes to describe it, “some people did something.” She used that description while speaking at an event for the Council of American-Islamic Relations in California. The full quote is below:

“Here’s the truth,” she said. “For far too long we have lived with the discomfort of being a second-class citizen. Frankly, I’m tired of it. And every single Muslim in this country should be tired of it. CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties.”

Every September 11 in New York City, the victims’ loved ones read aloud the names of their brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, husbands and wives who perished that day. This year, one speaker did not let Omar’s shocking comment go unaddressed. Nicholas Haros Jr., who lost his mother, Frances Haros, in the attack, showed up to today’s ceremony with a shirt that read, “some people did something” and a message for the congresswoman.

“‘Some people did something,’ said a freshman congresswoman from Minnesota, to support and justify the creation of CAIR, [The Council on American-Islamic Relations],” Haros said after reading his mother’s name. “Today I’m here to respond to you exactly who did what to whom. Madam, objectively speaking, we know who and what was done. There is no uncertainty about that. Why your confusion?”

By Daily Wire. Ahmed Hirsi, the husband of far-left Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), reportedly wants a divorce after the bombshell “homewrecker” allegations came out against Omar last week in divorce filings.

A source told The New York Post that Hirsi “is poised to file for divorce after the revelation in a bombshell court filing that she allegedly had an affair with DC political consultant Tim Mynett.”

“The Minnesota congresswoman and her husband allegedly separated in March, and Omar asked Hirsi to divorce her around that time because she didn’t want to file the papers — but Hirsi refused, telling her if she wanted a divorce she should do it herself, said the source, who has known both parties for 20 years,” The New York Post reports. “The husband allegedly changed his mind after Tim Mynett’s wife last week filed bombshell divorce papers claiming her spouse was having an affair with the Somali-born US representative — with Hirsi said to be angry he had been made to look the fool by the allegations of an extramarital affair.”

After The New York Post reported the bombshell allegations against Omar last week that were made in court filings, Omar told a local CBS affiliate that she and her husband were still together and refused to answer further questions. Ilhan Omar Splits with Her Husband and Moves into Luxury Penthouse as She Heads for Second Divorce with Father of Her Three Children

The bust-up comes just as critics are demanding answers as to whether she married her own brother in a successful bid to get him into the United States.

Omar has now dumped her current husband Ahmed Hirsi – who she first married in a religious ceremony in 2002 and divorced in 2008 – and moved into a penthouse apartment in one of Minneapolis’s trendiest neighborhoods, DailyMail.com has learned exclusively.

Donald Trump Jr. Torches Ilhan Omar over Her Latest Scandal

On Friday, Donald Trump Jr. slammed far-left Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) in a tweet that took aim at the congresswoman’s latest scandal — an alleged affair with a married man that led the man’s wife to file for divorce. . .

Trump Jr. referenced the bombshell divorce filing that The New York Post reported in which Dr. Beth Jordan Mynett accused her husband Tim Mynett, a Democratic strategist, of having an affair with Omar.

“Dr. Beth Jordan Mynett says her cheating spouse, Tim Mynett, told her in April that he was having an affair with the Somali-born US representative and that he even made a ‘shocking declaration of love’ for the Minnesota congresswoman before he ditched her, alleges the filing, submitted in DC Superior Court on Tuesday,” The New York Post reported. “The 37-year-old congresswoman and mom of three paid Tim Mynett and his E. Street Group approximately $230,000 through her campaign since 2018 for fundraising consulting, digital communications, Internet advertising and travel expenses.” . . .

The Daily Caller News Foundation’s Andrew Kerr reported that Omar’s campaign “began making payments to E. Street Group for ‘travel expenses'” on April 1 and that six days later, on April 7, “Mynett confessed to his wife that he was ‘romantically involved with and in love with’ Omar,” according to the divorce filings. ‘Homewrecker’ Ilhan Omar Refuses to Acknowledge Affair Allegations

Far-left Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) was slammed online on Tuesday after news broke about her alleged affair with a Democrat consultant with many calling the scandal-ridden first-term congresswoman a “homewrecker.” . . .

The report spurred widespread mockery of Omar, who often presents herself as being morally superior to others. . .

Omar claimed that she had not separated from her husband and was not seeing someone else in an interview with a local CBS News affiliate, adding: “As I said yesterday, I have no interest in allowing the conversation about my personal life to continue and so I have no desire to discuss it.”

Report Claims Ilhan Omar Had Affair With Married Man, Funneled Him Campaign Money

By Daily Wire. Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) was accused of having an affair with a married man, whom she allegedly funneled large sums of money to through her campaign, in divorce documents filed this week.

“Dr. Beth Jordan Mynett says her cheating spouse, Tim Mynett, told her in April that he was having an affair with the Somali-born US representative and that he even made a ‘shocking declaration of love’ for the Minnesota congresswoman before he ditched her, alleges the filing, submitted in DC Superior Court on Tuesday,” The New York Post reported.

Court documents reviewed by the Post said that Tim Mynett, 38, and Jordan Mynett, 55, “physically separated on or about April 7, 2019, when Defendant told Plaintiff that he was romantically involved with and in love with another woman, Ilhan Omar.”

The Post added: “The 37-year-old congresswoman and mom of three paid Tim Mynett and his E. Street Group approximately $230,000 through her campaign since 2018 for fundraising consulting, digital communications, Internet advertising and travel expenses.” . . .

Investigative reporter David Steinberg, who has extensively reported on the marriage fraud allegations against Omar, noted that Omar allegedly entering the couple’s home while the wife was away was a damning indictment on her moral judgment. Ilhan Omar Should Be Probed Over Payments to ‘Lover’: Watchdog Group

By The New York Post. A conservative watchdog group said Tuesday that it plans to file a complaint against US Rep. Ilhan Omar with the Federal Election Commission — after The Post revealed allegations that she’s dating one of her paid consultants.

“This arrangement where Ilhan is paying her lover consulting fees could be illegal if he’s not doing the work,” said National Legal and Policy Center Chairman Peter Flaherty.

“And we’ll be asking the FEC for an investigation to determine the nature and level of his work product.”

Earlier Tuesday, The Post reported that Beth Mynett, a DC-based doctor, filed for separation from her husband, political consultant Tim Mynett, alleging he told her April 7 that he was having an affair with Omar.
