Sarah Palin is right about impeaching President Obama.

No, not that the president should be impeached. But Palin is correct in arguing that, for those who assert that Obama has grievously abused his executive authority, impeachment is the proper course of action.

Of course this won’t happen, for the obvious reason that this tactic didn’t go so well for Republicans last time. Hence House Speaker John Boehner’s curt dismissal of Palin’s call for impeachment: “I disagree.”

Boehner’s alternative — a lawsuit — offers the political benefits of draining impeachment fever from the more rabid Republican precincts while rallying the base against Obama-as-evil-overlord, sans electoral downside.

“This isn’t about Republicans versus Democrats; it’s about the legislative branch versus the executive branch and, above all, protecting the Constitution,” Boehner pronounced in unveiling a resolution to authorize the lawsuit. “If this president can get away with making his own laws, future presidents will have the ability to as well. The House has an obligation to stand up for the legislative branch and the Constitution.”

Boehner: 'I Disagree' With Impeaching Obama (+video)

Photo Credit: APHouse Speaker John Boehner plans to sue President Obama, but he’s not in favor of impeaching him.

“I disagree,” he said twice on Wednesday, when a reporter asked him about Sarah Palin’s call to impeach Barack Obama.

Palin told Fox News on Tuesday that the “tippng point” for her was the “illegal immigration issue.”

On that topic, Boehner was asked about President Obama’s request for $3.7B in emergency spending to deal with the border crisis — more than half of it humanitarian aid.

Boehner said he’s waiting for a recommendation from the Appropriations Committee and from the newly created Border Working Group…

Krauthammer: If Obama Were A Republican, He Would’ve Been Impeached Over These Abuses (+video)

Look, he is not a natural politician. I don’t think he even likes politics, which is odd for a man who is president. He clearly has completely failed at doing what the president has to do, which is work with the other side. But the worst part of it is he doesn’t care about the constitution.

WATCH: M*A*S*H Star: “Obama Ought to Be Impeached!”

It’s no secret that we support the immediate impeachment and prosecution of Barack Obama for ignoring the law, violating the law, undermining the constitution, weakening America, aiding and abetting our enemies, and other crimes.

Still, the impeachment movement and its supporters need to give as much positive attention to those who call for impeachment for the first time — especially the famous and influential.

Now, a famous actor is calling for the impeachment of Obama and everyone should spread this article to spread the word and fight back.

Wayne Rogers is famous for his iconic role as “Trapper John” on the TV show M*A*S*H. Now, the star has turned against Obama, going onto Fox and demanding for the impeachment of Barack Obama.

Rep. Barletta: Obama Impeachment ‘Probably Could’ Clear House

By Cathy Burke.

Impeachment of President Barack Obama “probably could” pass in the House of Representatives, Pennsylvania Republican Rep. Lou Barletta speculated Monday.

“He’s just absolutely ignoring the Constitution, and ignoring the laws, and ignoring the checks and balances,” Barletta said in a radio interview posted by BuzzFeed.

“The problem is, you know, what do you do? For those that say impeach him for breaking the laws or bypassing the laws. Could that pass in the House? It probably, it probably could. Is the majority the American people in favor of impeaching the president? I’m not sure.”

Ben Shapiro’s Obama Solution: ‘Prosecution Not Impeachment’

Photo Credit: BreitbartOn Thursday, Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) stated that he was “not, at this point, calling for impeachment.” He continued, “The president has two years left in his term. We hope they pass quickly.”

That hope is empty. They will pass slowly. And even should Republicans win back the Senate in 2014, President Obama promises heavy executive action–action that will surely violate the Constitutional delegation of powers.

Which is why, says Breitbart senior editor-at-large Ben Shapiro, impeachment isn’t the answer: prosecution is. And in his new book, The People vs. Barack Obama: The Criminal Case Against The Obama Administration, Shapiro lays out the charges.

“A criminal administration can do virtually anything, without any sort of real consequences,” Shapiro writes. “Impeachment is rarely used – in the entire history of the United States, there have been just 19 House impeachments, and just eight of those ended with full removal after a Senate trial. No doubt the founders intended impeachment to be utilized far more often than it has been…But in practice, impeachment has been a failure.”

Joe Miller Slams Obama for ‘White Flag Diplomacy’ and Another Lawless Act

Photo Credit: REUTERS / Kevin LamarqueFairbanks, Alaska. June 2, 2014 – Joe Miller today weighed in on the President’s latest foreign policy fiasco, stating that the release of five top Taliban commanders was tantamount to surrender and further endangers our soldiers and US interests around the globe. He identified it as yet another lawless act by the Obama Administration.

“It’s outrageous,” Miller said. “It is becoming increasingly evident that Barack Obama’s incompetence in dealing with national security issues is imperiling the country, and if it’s not a competency issue, we’ve got even bigger problems. But one thing is certain, ‘white flag diplomacy’ only emboldens our enemies and endangers Americans abroad, especially US service men and women.”

As more information emerges, other disturbing questions are being raised including whether the President even acted within the parameters of the law by failing to notify Congress of his intentions to release the five dangerous extremists in exchange for American POW Bowe Bergdahl, who disappeared under questionable circumstances.

Miller concluded, “When seen within a larger pattern of lawless acts, this incident is beyond troubling. This President has little regard for the law, to say nothing of his aptitude for decision-making as it relates to our national security. Congress must hold him accountable. This incident is yet another reason the President should be impeached.”

Joe Miller is a husband, father, combat veteran, and advocate of Constitutional liberty who believes in individual rights, private property, free markets and the sanctity of human life.

Faithless Execution

Photo Credit: Getty Images Faithless Execution is about presidential lawlessness.

Specifically, my new book, which Encounter Books will release this week, is about how the Framers of our Constitution fully anticipated that a president could fail to honor his core duty to execute the laws faithfully — could fail to meet his basic fiduciary obligations to the American people.

Viewing the Obama presidency through the prism of these constitutional norms, Faithless Execution argues that we are experiencing a different kind of presidential lawlessness than our nation has ever known: a systematic undermining of our governing framework, willfully carried out by a president who made no secret of his intention to “fundamentally transform the United States of America.”

What is the president trying to transform?

Well, the constitutional framework he is undermining enshrines two core principles: separation-of-powers and accountability.

‘Impeach Obama’ Movement Gains Speed with New Book on ‘Lawlessness’ (+video)

The underground effort by some conservatives to impeach President Obama for picking and choosing which laws to enforce is about to shift into a higher gear with a new book from a noted terrorism prosecutor detailing seven impeachable offenses on topics ranging from immigration to Obamacare.

In Faithless Execution, Andrew C. McCarthy makes the legal case to dump the president, but also hopes to build the political will in Congress and the nation to take the unusual move last used against former President Bill Clinton following the Monica Lewinsky affair.

“You have to make the public case that the president has to be removed,” said McCarthy. “I’m trying to make it,” he said.

McCarthy, a terrorism expert who prosecuted the so-called “blind sheik,” Omar Abdel Rahman, for the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, charged that Obama and his administration are destroying the Constitution by ignoring some laws, using the Internal Revenue Service to harass conservative groups and making changes to Obamacare that don’t appear legal.

“The victims are people who care if America is the America of the Constitution,” he said at a small briefing about his book due for release June 3. Amazon is already selling it.

Judge Rules On Obama Eligibility

Photo Credit: WNDOne of the last remaining court battles over Barack Obama’s presidential eligibility has gone down in flames in a 7-2 decision by the Alabama Supreme Court to render “no opinion.”

However, the dissenting minority of Justice Tom Parker and Chief Justice Roy Moore concluded the case has serious constitutional significance, warranting an investigation of the qualifications of 2012 presidential candidates by Alabama’s secretary of state.

Moore wrote in his dissent that the circuit court should have granted the plaintiffs’ request to order the state secretary of state “to implement the natural-born-citizen requirement of the presidential-qualifications clause in future elections.”

“Although the removal of a president-elect or a president who has taken the oath of office is within the breast of Congress, the determination of the eligibility of the 2012 presidential candidates before the casting of the electoral votes is a state function,” Moore argued.

He said the case was of “great constitutional significance in regard to the highest office in our land.”
