Feds May Have ‘Sufficient Evidence’ to Charge Hunter Biden

According to fresh reporting in The Washington Post on Thursday, federal investigators “believe” they have “sufficient evidence to charge” President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden with crimes related to his taxes and falsifying information related to a gun purchase. Citing “people familiar with the case,” WaPo says the “next step is for the U.S. Attorney in Delaware, a Trump administration holdover, to decide on whether to file such charges.”

As Townhall has previously reported, Hunter Biden’s taxes have been the subject of significant scrutiny since the president’s son discovered his finances were being investigated in December 2020. At the time, then-President-Elect Biden characterized the situation as “vicious personal attacks.” Not quite.

When he was made aware of the investigation into his finances, Hunter Biden said he was taking the matter “very seriously” but maintained his confidence “that a professional and objective review of these matters will demonstrate that I handled my affairs legally and appropriately, including with the benefit of professional tax advisors.” Apparently that hasn’t been the case.

It turns out that Hunter Biden’s taxes were the subject of an inquiry even before the end of 2020, but the U.S. Attorney in Delaware, David Weiss, heeded advice from investigators to delay action in the federal probe “to avoid taking any actions that could alert the public to the existence of the case in the middle of a presidential election,” as Townhall reported. Biden Issues Over 300K Smartphones With Tracking Devices to Illegal Aliens

More than 300,000 smartphones used to monitor illegal immigrants were given to noncitizens by the Biden administration last month, according to data collected by Syracuse University’s Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse.

Issuing such cellular devices to illegal immigrants is part of an Immigration and Customs Enforcement program called the Alternatives to Detention, which essentially gives the individuals access to U.S. soil before their court dates.

The smartphones, which cost taxpayers $361,218.08 per day, use facial recognition, GPS monitoring, and voice identification, according to ICE.

Jon Feere, former DHS senior adviser and director of investigations at the Center for Immigration Studies, told the Free Beacon last month that the ATD program has already proven to be a “costly failure,” noting that thousands of illegal immigrants have disappeared annually. Biden to Pardon All Federal Convictions for Marijuana Possession

President Biden will pardon everyone convicted on federal charges of simple marijuana possession, the White House announced Thursday, saying he intended to repair America’s “failed approach” to the drug.

The president also was expected to call on governors to pardon state-level convictions in a recorded video statement later Thursday.

“As I said when I ran for president, no one should be in jail just for using or possessing marijuana,” Mr. Biden said in a statement. “Too many lives have been upended because of our failed approach to marijuana. It’s time that we right these wrongs.”

The marijuana pardon, announced just a month before the Nov. 8 midterm elections, delivers a gift to the Democrats’ liberal base that has clamored for legalizing weed at the federal level and has been disappointed by the party’s failure to deliver on overhauling policing laws.

Air Force One Logs: Joe Biden Campaigns Less for Midterm Candidates Than Trump, Obama

By Breitbart. President Joe Biden has thrown his political weight behind Democrat midterm candidates in 2022 less than former Presidents Trump and Barack Obama did in 2018 and 2010, Air Force One logs show.

Biden’s political calculation to remain in Washington, DC, and not fly around the nation to bolster support for House and Senate candidates is notable because multiple Democrat candidates appear willing to go without the president’s ability to drive campaign fundraising and local media attention.

With just five weeks until election day, the Democrat Party likely perceives Biden as more of a political liability than an asset. Under Biden’s leadership, the southern border has remained open, gas prices have spiked, and inflation has soared. Biden’s record has negatively impacted the Democrats’ chances of maintaining control of the House and Senate.

As a result, Biden has only traveled to 46 cities and held 11 fundraisers, according to an Axios report on Air Force One logs. The numbers pale compared to the former presidents’ movements during the 2010 and 2018 midterms. Obama visited 78 cities and held 16 fundraisers, while Trump visited 57 cities and held 27 fundraisers, the report found. Confused VP Harris Claims People Don’t Need to ‘Abandon Their Faith’ to Support Abortion

Americans don’t need to abandon their faith to support abortion rights in the U.S., Vice President Kamala Harris argued Wednesday.

Harris made the statement while speaking at an abortion rights conference in Connecticut, joining a panel discussion alongside Planned Parenthood president Alexis McGill Johnson and Rep. Jahana Hayes, D-Conn. Hayes pressed Harris to explain how a person might still support abortion rights even if their religious beliefs declare it immoral.

“What would you say to someone who understands why abortion should be a personal decision between a pregnant person and whomever else they decide to include in the conversation, but believes they can’t reconcile it with their faith?” Hayes asked, reading a question from the audience.

Biden Slammed for Complaining About Media Shouting Questions: ‘This Guy Routinely Hides From the Press’

President Joe Biden was criticized Tuesday for his response to reporters shouting questions at him while being escorted out of a White House abortion task force meeting.

As they tried to question him, Biden just smiled and said, “You’re among the only press in the world that does this. Seriously, seriously.”

In response, critics slammed Biden for attacking the free press despite refusing to answer their questions and failing to hold press conferences with any degree of frequency.

“This guy routinely hides from the press, rarely takes questions, almost never does pressers, and has the gall to criticize them for trying to ask questions on one of the few opportunities they get,” John Cooper, a communications official for the conservative Heritage Foundation, tweeted.

Ian Haworth, a speaker for Young America’s Foundation and Turning Point USA, tweeted, “In the United Kingdom, the Prime Minister has to publicly defend their own policies during televised debates every week. Biden Thanks Coast Guard Rescue Swimmer Who Expects to Be Fired Over Vaccine Mandate

By Washington Examiner. . .Biden called Aviation Survival Technician Second Class Zach Loesch on Sept. 30, asking for a report on the Coast Guard’s work and if they needed any additional support to accelerate rescues, according to a press release from the White House. . .

Despite the plaudits, Loesch told Breibert News that in 30-60 days, he will be removed from the military after Biden expressed his intent to approve a mandate making COVID-19 vaccines mandatory for service members in August last year.

As of September 2022, Loesch is one of 2,632 members of the Coast Guard who refuses to get a vaccine, per the Daily Mail.

“If I had asked any of the people I saved yesterday if they wanted to come with me even though I am unvaccinated, every single one of them would have said ‘yes,'” he said.

The vaccine mandate is a lawful general order, according to the Coast Guard website. Biden Thanks Coast Guard Rescue Swimmer He’s Kicking Out Over Vaccine Mandate

By Breitbart. President Joe Biden on Friday personally called to thank a Coast Guard rescue swimmer — who is facing discharge over Biden’s vaccine mandate — for saving people’s lives during Hurricane Ian.

The White House publicized the call in a press release and Biden himself bragged about calling him.

“I told him how proud of him I was and thanked him for all the work he and his Coasties are doing to save lives,” Biden said of his call to Aviation Survival Technician Second Class Zach Loesch.

The White House press release said he thanked Loesch and Lieutenant Commander Christopher Hooper “for the heroic work that they and their Coast Guard colleagues have performed during search and rescue operations in response to Hurricane Ian.”

“The President thanked them for saving lives and asked for a report on the work that continues to rescue Floridians. He also asked if they needed any additional support that he can provide to accelerate successful rescues; they indicated they have gotten what they need to execute their vital mission,” it said. Report: Pedo Afghan Refugee, Brought by Biden, Accused of Sexually Assaulting Young Boy

An Afghan national, brought to the United States as part of President Joe Biden’s massive resettlement operation over the last year, has been charged with violently attacking and sexually assaulting a 12-year-old boy in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Shah Mahmood Selab, 35, was charged last week in federal court for alleged child sex crimes. An exclusive report by Fox News’s Adam Shaw reveals that Selab was brought to the U.S. by the Biden administration as part of a resettlement operation following the withdrawal of U.S. Armed Forces from Afghanistan in August 2021.

On August 21, according to federal prosecutors, Saleb approached the 12-year-old boy at a park near a middle school and started asking personal questions before showing him sexual photos and videos on his cellphone.

From there, prosecutors allege Selab touched the boy inappropriately and when the boy tried to walk away, he was chased by Selab who punched him in the face a number of times. Joe Biden: Mass Immigration Makes America ‘so Much Better’ (VIDEO)

President Joe Biden celebrated mass immigration to the United States at the White House on Friday, saying the constant flow of millions of illegal and legal immigrants every couple of years is making America “so much better.”

During a speech for Hispanic Heritage Month, Biden celebrated that the U.S. foreign-born population has hit a record-breaking nearly 47 million and that 26 percent of students in American schools speak Spanish rather than English.

“When in American history has there been a circumstance where one ethnicity has the potential to have such a profound impact on the direction of a country?” Biden said.

“Twenty-six percent of every child who’s in school today speaks Spanish — 26 percent,” Biden continued. “We’ve had large waves of immigration before but the thing is, we just have so much opportunity to make this country so much better. I really mean it … so as my father would say ‘Let’s go get ’em.’”

‘In Serious Decline’: GOP Demands Biden Takes Test After Death Gaffe

President Joe Biden’s latest mishap onstage has raised new concerns from Republicans over the president, with some renewing their requests for Biden to take a cognitive test.

Biden had been speaking at a White House conference on Wednesday when he asked, “Where’s Jackie,” referring to the late Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-IN), who died in August. The latest gaffe by the president, among past slip-ups, has led Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX), who served as a physician to the president for both former Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump, to ask for Biden to take “a cognitive test,” according to Fox News.

“It doesn’t take a neurologist to realize he’s in serious cognitive decline,” Jackson said. “The American people know what’s going on here, and they don’t think the commander in chief is capable of doing his job. It’s past time for White House staff and the liberal media to stop shielding him from questions about his mental acuity and demand he answer my call for a cognitive test.”

Biden has had numerous gaffes on camera since entering the White House, such as when he seemingly read a direction out loud off a teleprompter during a speech in July. Rep.
