Biden’s New Green Energy Adviser Has Ties to Chinese Communist Party Front Group

President Joe Biden’s new senior adviser has maintained ties with a Chinese government influence operative for over 10 years, the Daily Caller News Foundation found.

Since at least 2009, Democratic powerbroker John Podesta, former chairman of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign, has cooperated with Tung Chee-hwa and his Chinese Communist Party-backed organization, the China-United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF), according to CUSEF’s annual reports. Podesta sits on CUSEF’s “U.S.-China 2022 Steering Committee” and has written at least three articles for its website since 2011 — the same year in which he appeared on the front cover of the group’s annual report.

Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz characterized CUSEF as a “pseudo-philanthropic foundation” in 2018, writing that “CUSEF’s ties to the CCP are an issue of grave concern.” CUSEF is registered under the Foreign Agents Registration Act as a Chinese foreign principal controlled by Tung, the vice chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) — an organization which directs China’s influence operations, according to the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission.

Including Tung, eight of CUSEF’s core leaders have served in the CPPCC, while Chinese military personnel, members of the CCP and former government officials are also listed among the group’s advisers, according to its website.

Tung is “clearly associated” with the CCP’s United Front Work Department (UFWD), according to the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission. The UFWD engages in propaganda, espionage and physical violence, according to the State Department. There’s Something off About This Tweet From Joe Biden

There is nothing believable about this Joe Biden tweet. Some random 51-year-old woman says the economy is going so well, thanks to Biden’s leadership, that she and her husband can now save up for a house. The image screams ‘photoshopped,’ but it’s a continuation of the liberal trend on social media that only serve to reconfirm their biases. You’ve all seen the equally inauthentic ‘my son, daughter, or loved one said’ tweets in which interactions that never happened end up attacking a conservative or Trump policy. Liberals who say their four-year-old kids are intimate with inside-the-ballpark activities within the DC Beltway is the dead giveaway that nothing in the post is accurate. And now, Joe Biden has joined the game. He’s a little late but still comical in how these posts never pass the smell test.

Attorney Harmeet Dhillon pointed out that all this message proved, if honest, that Biden voters are financially illiterate. What should also give you pause is how consumer and credit card debt has soared to its highest levels in years. No one is saving in a manner that could allow for a home purchase. White House Can’t Shake Major ‘MAGA Republican’ Miscalculation (VIDEO)

It’s been six days since President Joe Biden stood in Independence Hall, flanked by two U.S. Marines and surrounded by ominous red lighting, to declare “MAGA Republicans” as enemies of the state.

And the issue continues to be a distraction in the White House briefing room where Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre was again asked about it Tuesday by multiple reporters.

By Washington Examiner. A heckler disrupted President Joe Biden’s speech in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, drawing the attention of the president, who called him an “idiot,” before being escorted out.

In the middle of his speech to a crowd at Laborfest, where labor unions and their members gather annually, a heckler yelled at the president onstage, garnering a reaction. Biden halted his speech to ask security to “let him go,” delivering a quip in the process.

“All right, God love you. Let him go, let him go,” Biden said as security began to escort the man out. “Let him go. He’s — look, everybody’s entitled to be an idiot.”

Joe Biden Accuses Heckler of ‘Destroying Democracy’ at Labor Day Speech

By Breitbart. President Joe Biden mocked a heckler during a Labor Day speech on Monday, accusing him of “destroying democracy.” . . .

The president continued his speech, warning his audience that the “extreme MAGA” Republicans were trying to take away personal rights from Americans.

“We have to be stronger and more determined and more committed to saving American democracy than the MAGA Republicans and that guy out that door, are destroying democracy,” he said, referring to the heckler.

Biden continued his angry condemnation of former President Donald Trump and his supporters, calling them a “threat to democracy.”

Conservatives React to Biden Calling Them a ‘Threat’ to the Nation

By Breitbart. Conservatives on social media reacted to President Joe Biden’s recent divisive political speech, in which he referred to “MAGA Republicans” as a “threat” to “the very soul of this nation,” by sarcastically explaining how they are threats to the nation as well.

“I go to work. I work hard. I go to the gym. I hunt. I fish. I spend time with friends and family. I pay my taxes and don’t break the law. I play disc golf. I am a threat to the very soul of this nation,” one Twitter user wrote.

“I’m a registered nurse nearing retirement,” another explained. “I like taking walks and reading mystery novels. I adopted a baby and she’s now an engineering student with a scholarship. I pay my taxes. I don’t break the law. I am a threat to the very soul of this nation.”

“I work hard, garden, cook, bake, spin, knit weave and throw pots. I’ve been married 33 years and have two grown kids. I’ve owned businesses and pay taxes. I am a threat to the very soul of this nation,” a third said.

“I’m paying for both of my kids’ college. I am a threat to the very soul of this nation,” another Twitter user quipped.

White House’s ‘Conscious Decision’ to Use Marines at Biden Speech Called ‘Unwise’ by Military Scholars: WaPo

By Fox News. The Washington Post reported that the use of two Marines in the background of President Biden’s campaign-style speech Thursday was intentional, in a move civil-military scholars called “unwise.”

Washington Post reporter Dan Lamothe revealed in a Friday report, titled “Marines at Biden speech prompt debate about politicizing the military,” that a White House official, under the condition of anonymity, said there was a “conscious decision” to feature the military figures during Biden’s speech “for symbolism.”

“The President gave an important speech last night about our democracy and our values, values that our men and women in uniform fight every day to protect,” the official’s statement read. “The presence of Marines at the speech was intended to demonstrate the deep and abiding respect the President has for their service to these ideals and the unique role our independent military plays in defending our democracy, no matter which party is in power.”

The Marines’ appearance during the speech was criticized by viewers as well as some members of the media for using the soldiers “as props” for what came off as an anti-MAGA campaign rally. Joe Biden Trashes ‘MAGA Agenda’ as ‘Extremism That Threatens Very Foundations of Our Republic’

President Joe Biden took to social media on Sunday to trash what he called the “MAGA agenda,” dismissing it and those Republicans who follow it as threats to the very fabric of America.

He sneered on Twitter: “The MAGA agenda represents an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our Republic. It doesn’t respect our Constitution. It doesn’t believe in the rule of law. And it doesn’t recognise the will of the people.” . . .

Biden’s attack on Republicans follows the theme set last Thursday night when he called on Americans to “stop” MAGA Republicans, whom he consistently maligned as a dark force assailing democracy in his “Soul of the Nation” prime-time speech.

As Breitbart News reported the president said on that occasion, after portraying MAGA Republicans as direct threats to American democracy, lawbreakers have no place in the America he wants to build for tomorrow. Biden Tries to Walk Back Speech From Hell: ’I Don’t Consider Any Trump Supporter to Be a Threat’ — After Calling Trump Supporters a Threat

President Joe Biden tried Friday to walk back his dark political speech from the night before after receiving considerable backlash for trying to portray supporters of former President Donald Trump as radical extremists who threatened the United States.

“I don’t consider any Trump supporter to be a threat to the country,” Biden replied when asked by reporters at the White House about why he decided to say that Trump and his supporters were a threat to democracy.

The president tried to narrow his definition of exactly who he was talking about when he said “Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans are a threat to the very soul of this country” in his speech Thursday night at Independence Hall in Pennsylvania.

“I do think anyone who calls for the use of violence and fails to condemn violence when it’s used, refuse to acknowledge an election has been won, insists upon changing the way in which the rule – you count votes,” he said. “That is a threat to democracy. Democracy. And everything we stand for.”

Ukraine, COVID, and Monkeypox: Biden Asks Congress for Another $47 Billion to Address ‘Critical Needs for the American People’

The White House asked Congress for another $47 billion Friday to address what it considers “immediate needs,” including the spread of monkeypox at home and abroad, the never-ending fight against COVID, and the defense of Ukraine.

President Joe Biden’s request to Congress is aimed at keeping the government open beyond the September 30 expiration of the 2022 fiscal year, according to administration officials, Politico reported. The requested $47 billion includes $6.5 billion to address the recent flooding in Kentucky and wildfires in California, but that’s just a little over half of the $11.7 billion Biden wants to send to Ukraine.

“This Administration will continue to work with members of both parties in Congress to meet these critical needs for the American people, and we look forward to reaching a bipartisan funding agreement that advances national priorities in the coming fiscal year,” Shalanda Young, the director of the Office of Management and Budget wrote Friday.

While the administration carved out some funding to address natural disasters at home, there was no mention of Biden wanting Congress to send money to address the water crisis in Jackson, Mississippi, that has now dragged on for five days. Instead, the president set his short-term priorities on throwing more money toward combatting the already slowing spread of viruses and aiding the war defense of a foreign nation. Did the Previous Federal ‘Assault Weapons’ Ban Actually Work?

This week, President Joe Biden claimed during remarks that ruptured the audience’s eardrums that the previous nationwide ban on so-called “assault weapons” was successful in the mid-1990s and helped to reduce mass shootings for 10 consecutive years until its expiration a decade later. So, did the federal ban actually work?

CLAIM: “I’m determined to ban assault weapons in this country,” Biden declared in a Tuesday speech as he campaigned in the battleground state of Pennsylvania ahead of November’s midterm elections. “Determined,” he repeated. “I did it once before, and we will do it again…It’s not about taking away anybody’s guns,” he insisted.

FACTS: Congress passed a 10-year ban on “assault weapons” under the Violent Crime Control and Law enforcement Act in 1994 back when Biden was a U.S. senator. As a compromise to secure enough votes, the law contained a sunset provision calling for the ban’s repeal after 10 years, and it was not renewed in 2004.

A plethora of research was conducted on the ban’s effectiveness and “consistently found no statistically significant impact on mass public shootings or any other type of crime,” according to a 2018 analysis by the Crime Prevention Research Center. The findings hold true for research funded by the Clinton administration, per think tank Urban Institute’s conclusions in a 1997 final report for the National Institute of Justice: “The evidence is not strong enough for us to conclude that there was any meaningful effect (i.e., that the effect was different from zero).” The same criminologists published a follow-up NIJ study in 2004 where the researchers found: “We cannot clearly credit the ban with any of the nation’s recent drop in gun violence. And, indeed, there has been no discernible reduction in the lethality and injuriousness of gun violence.” The assessment added, “Should it be renewed, the ban’s effects on gun violence are likely to be small at best and perhaps too small for reliable measurement,” mentioning that “[assault weapons] were rarely used in gun crimes even before the ban.”
