Bloomberg Accidentally Reports That Russia Invaded Ukraine

. . .The financial news site accidentally reported that Russia had invaded Ukraine Friday afternoon with a headline on its homepage.

“Live: Russia invades Ukraine,” read a jarring headline on Bloomberg’s homepage at around 4 p.m.

It stayed up for about 30 minutes, according to Olga Lautman, a Russian analyst who posted the message on social media.

Users who clicked on the eye-popping story — which comes as Russian troops mass on the Ukrainian border and US officials warn of a potential invasion — were shown an error page.

“I went on the site and saw the breaking news but knew it wasn’t real because I deal with Ukraine and will be one of the first to know,” Lautman told The Post. “It is bizarre and a pretty big mistake to make considering this is a potential large scale invasion and everyone is on edge.”

Biden Plan Even Worse Than Just National Gun Registry, Critic Charges

It was Rep. Michael Cloud, R-Texas, who just days ago warned of the possibility of an illegal national gun registry being assembled by Joe Biden’s Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.

He said the “notably corrupt” agency was managing that by acquiring nearly a billion gun transfer records – so far.

He worries those details could be exploited by Biden to surveil American gun owners even while working to ban weapons.

Now John R. Lott Jr., the president of the Crime Prevention Research Center and formerly an adviser for the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Legal Policy, is explaining it’s worse than that.

In a column at Real Clear Politics, he explains not only federal officials “will have the name of everyone who legally obtained a gun,” Joe Biden now “wants to make universal background checks nationwide so he can have an even more complete registration list.” (Read more from “Biden Plan Even Worse Than Just National Gun Registry, Critic Charges” HERE)

Liberal Insanity: Biden Calls America’s Most Popular Handgun a Weapon of War During Gun Control Speech (VIDEO)

President Joe Biden called one of America’s most popular handgun a “weapon of war” Thursday while speaking about gun control in New York City.

“You know, futures cut short by a man with a stolen Glock with 40 rounds,” Biden said in reference to the two New York City Police Department (NYPD) officers who were recently gunned down in Harlem. “A magazine with 40 rounds. It’s really a weapon of war.”

The president visited the Big Apple Thursday following the fatal shooting of officers Jason Rivera and Wilbert Mora. (Read more from “Biden Calls America’s Most Popular Handgun a Weapon of War During Gun Control Speech” HERE)

‘I’m Going to Get In Trouble’ — Biden Caught Again Without Mask at White House

President Joe Biden was caught again at the White House without his mask on Wednesday after his speech on promoting cancer research.

Biden turned away from the podium and walked briefly over to the crowd of masked individuals who attended his remarks and began shaking hands.

Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) approached Biden quickly and, after shaking his hand, she whispered in his ear, presumably about his missing mask.

Biden grimaced and reached in his folder to retrieve his mask, putting it back on.

“I’m going to get in trouble,” he said. (Read more from “‘I’m Going to Get In Trouble’ — Biden Caught Again Without Mask at White House” HERE)

Congressman: Preparation for Biden Impeachment Starts Now

Citing the crisis created by Joe Biden at America’s southern border – by his decision to abandon the security measures adopted by President Trump such as the wall construction – one member of Congress said the work preparing to impeach the president should begin now.

It is Breitbart that reported Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., explained evidence must be collected and preserved for what could happen later.

Republicans are expected to move into the majority in the U.S. House following this fall’s elections, and many expect them to be in the majority in the Senate as well.

A simply majority in the House can vote to impeach a president, but it takes a supermajority in the Senate for a conviction.

Biggs, in an interview with Breitbart, said both Biden and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas should be impeached for their decisions that opened America’s southern border to millions of illegal aliens. Biden’s Apathy Toward His Drug-Plagued Border Crisis Is Killing People

Drug overdoses in the U.S., many fentanyl-related, reached record highs in 2021 and are on track to cause more deaths in 2022 as President Joe Biden ignores his ongoing crisis at the southern border, which is responsible for a large portion of drug trafficking in the nation.

Biden and his team at the White House are intentionally ignoring the growing border crisis even though since the beginning of the 2021 calendar year, border officials arrested more than 2 million illegal aliens, often aided and funded by the United Nations, at the southern U.S. border. Already, Customs and Border Protection data indicates that apprehensions on the U.S.-Mexico border in the 2022 fiscal year will exceed 2 million.

Not only are illegal aliens pouring across the border in what is arguably the nation’s top humanitarian crisis, but so are lethal drugs such as fentanyl, which plays an increasing role in the number of drug-related deaths in the U.S.

In addition to creating national security problems, Biden’s open border policies have ushered in a public health crisis that is responsible for many of the 100,306 drug overdose deaths in the U.S. from April 2020 to April 2021. In South Texas ports of entry alone, CBP seized 588 pounds of fentanyl in fiscal year 2021, a 1,066 percent increase since FY2020.

Southern states, including states that border Mexico, reported a surging number of fentanyl-related hospital visits and deaths. Even states such as Kansas and Maine, which are hundreds to thousands of miles away from the U.S.-Mexico border, are grappling with record-high drug overdoses and fentanyl deaths as a result of smuggled drugs. Manchin: Build Back Better Is ‘Dead’

Democratic West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin told reporters Tuesday that President Joe Biden’s Build Back Better bill was “dead” when asked about the status of renewed negotiations.

Manchin preceded his remark by saying that “there is no Build Back Better bill,” adding, “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

The centrist Democrat came out against the bill in December 2021, criticizing its size and scope amid decades-high inflation. His lack of support effectively killed any chance the bill had of passing the evenly-divided Senate, given Republicans’ unanimous opposition to it.

Though Manchin did not support the House-passed bill and was unable to reach a compromise with his Democratic colleagues, he has not shut the door to potentially restarting negotiations in the future. He has also signaled support for several individual policies in the bill, including but not limited to climate change mitigation measures and universal pre-K. Biden Says There’s ‘a Way to Go’ on COVID Two Years Into the Pandemic

President Biden sounded shaky Monday about his administration’s ability to lead the US out of the COVID-19 pandemic and back to normal, telling a group of governors at the White House that “we got a way to go on that, in my view” as Americans grow restless with social restrictions nearly two full years into the pandemic.

The president made the comment to members of the National Governors Association while discussing how he’d like states to standardize their coronavirus policies.

“I know you spoke today with … the head of my COVID team [Jeff Zients] in here,” Biden said. “We got a way to go on that, in my view, but we’re moving. And so I think it’s all about making sure we have the same standards we’re applying across the board.”

Seconds later, Biden said the administration was “gonna try like the devil to keep schools open,” even as several districts return to virtual learning, citing a surge in cases caused by the Omicron variant.

“We do know — study after study, as all of you know and you’ve done, the great universities in your states have done them — is that, you know, losing a semester can put a kid back a year and a half,” Biden said. “And so, there’s a whole lot we can — have to do, in my view, to focus. And I think that keeping schools open is a big part of that.” (Read more from “Biden Says There’s ‘a Way to Go’ on COVID Two Years Into the Pandemic” HERE)

Biden’s Border Plan: Fix Foreign Countries *First*

President Joe Biden met with American governors at the White House on Monday, but only spoke briefly about migration and the crisis on the southern border.

The president acknowledged that border security was an issue, claiming he was “working a lot with neighboring countries” on the migrant crisis.

But he stressed the most important thing he wanted to do is fix the foreign countries from which migrants were coming.

“There’s a lot to do.” he said. “There’s a lot. I think one of the fundamental things we gotta do in addition to some of the changes we’ll make — we won’t get into them today — is that if we figure out why they’re leaving in the first place.”

Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, along with cabinet officials, met with governors from the National Governors Association. (Read more from “Biden’s Border Plan: Fix Foreign Countries *First*” HERE)
