’I’m Angry’: Black Democrats Souring on Biden

. . .Now, one year into his presidency, Biden is hoping he can maintain the support of Black voters, even as his failure to deliver on voting rights legislation and other issues has left some loyalists dispirited. Of the many challenges he confronts as he enters his second year, few are as important as retaining the strong backing from his party’s base.

Just 6 in 10 Black Americans said they approved of Biden in a recent poll by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, down from about 9 in 10 who approved in polls conducted through the first six months of Biden’s presidency.

“I’m perplexed. At some points, I’m angry. I’m trying to see if there is anything redeeming,” said George Hart, 73, a professor and faculty adviser to the student chapter of the NAACP at Benedict College, a historically Black institution in Columbia. “I’m just so disillusioned, I don’t know what to say. Patel: Joe Biden Completes His Historic Failure

By Daily Caller. Joe Biden campaigned as a moderate elder statesman who could help heal a divided country. The press played up the narrative that Biden put in place a team of professionals and technocrats who would provide real governing expertise as a salve from the chaos of the Trump years. The truth, of course, has been just the opposite.

Many Americans are coming to believe that, contrary to the expectations going in, the Biden administration is a rudderless, leaderless, overly ideological mess. Biden did not help himself at his rare press conference Wednesday.

When challenged on America’s declining faith in the competence of his government, Biden denied reality. He said the Afghanistan withdrawal was never going to be easy. This directly contradicts his assurances before the withdrawal when he said we could do it “responsibly, deliberately and safely.” Biden’s earlier statements are not a secret, and everyone knows that 13 American soldiers died after Biden outsourced security around the withdrawal to the Taliban. Deflecting this reality is dishonest, and it’s not helpful to Biden politically.

On COVID-19, Biden said he’s done remarkably well. This is hard to square with the standard Biden set in the election, when he said Trump was unfit for office after being responsible for 220,000 COVID-19 deaths. By this metric, Biden is now responsible for 400,000 COVID-19 deaths — the opposite of his promise to come in and “shut down” the virus.

In a rare admission, Biden acknowledged that there have been delays in his administration getting testing kits out. He didn’t mention that those delays were directly caused by his own staff. Back in October, testing experts recommended that the Biden administration send COVID-19 tests to American households before the holidays. Biden’s staff rejected the idea. As a result, people in towns across America waited in incredibly long lines for tests over the holidays. Biden, nonetheless, expressed continued confidence in this team. Biden’s Latest Fed Nominee Might Be Cooked

President Joe Biden’s latest high-profile Fed nominee is in danger of being struck down in the Senate because she is widely seen by her peers as a left-wing activist rather than a serious monetary economist, several economists told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Biden appointed Lisa Cook, a professor of international relations and economics at Michigan State University and former Obama White House staffer, on Jan. 13 to serve on the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, which regulates the banking industry.

Critics, including some in the Senate, say that she is not qualified for such an important job and has mischaracterized her economics experience.

A senior Republican Senate aide, who requested anonymity because they are not authorized to speak on Republican strategy, told the DCNF that Cook is one of the least qualified nominees in the Fed’s history. The aide stressed that Cook’s scholarship has no connection to monetary economics or the Fed’s dual mandate.

Senator Slams ‘Sexist’ Biden for Calling Fox News Reporter’s Question ‘Stupid’

Sen. Marsha Blackburn has claimed President Biden was being “sexist” when he called Fox News reporter Jacqui Heinrich’s inquiry about Russia-Ukraine tensions “stupid” on Thursday.

“This is extremely sexist and uncalled for. @JacquiHeinrich is a well-prepared, smart reporter, and Biden should apologize immediately,” Blackburn (R-Tenn.) tweeted.

Biden made the snipe Thursday afternoon as reporters were being shooed out of the White House-adjacent Eisenhower Executive Office Building.

“Why are you waiting on [Russian President Vladimir] Putin to make the first move, sir?” Heinrich asked.

Biden Approval Hits Two Record Lows After Disastrous Press Conference; White House Gaslighting America, Trying to Convince U.S. ‘Biden Didn’t Say What We All Heard Him Say’

The early polling after His Fraudulency Joe Biden’s disastrous press conference sees the enfeebled president hitting two record lows in the RealClearPolitics poll of polls.

For the first time in his failed presidency, Biden’s average approval rating has sunk to a dismal 40.5 percent.

Additionally, for the first time in his failed presidency, Biden’s average disapproval rating has hit an all-time high of 55.3 percent.

His Fraudulency is now upside-down by a whopping 14.8 points.

While we will know more about the post-press conference polling after the weekend, it is no surprise to see the numbers headed in this direction directly after that shambolic Wednesday afternoon White House press conference. A Scandal for Every Month: The Biggest Botches, Failures, and Mess-Ups of Joe Biden’s First 12 Months in Office

Joe Biden has been in the Oval Office (or that weird set in the Eisenhower building’s South Court auditorium with the greenscreen windows) for a year now, and he’s already managed to make his short presidency known for a long line-up of scandals, botches, and slip-ups.

It’s too hard to narrow the list down to one top failure, although his disgracefully handled Afghanistan withdrawal may be the most sobering and inflation may be the one that played the biggest role in Biden’s tanking approval ratings. Even though Biden’s mess-ups tally up to far more than 12, it’s not hard to remember a Biden-enabled disaster for every month of the septuagenarian’s first year at the stern … or in the basement. . .

On his first day in office, President Joe Biden signed a list of radically left-wing executive orders, including an order requiring that schools must ignore the biological differences between male and female students from the athletic field to the bathroom if they wish to continue receiving federal funding. In Biden’s first week, Press Secretary Jen Psaki also signaled the administration’s plans to reinstate federal funding for abortions around the world with the reversal of the Mexico City policy, and the new president canceled the Keystone XL pipeline. . .

In February, Biden’s Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced strict reopening guidelines that would keep many schools around the country shut down. “Only K-12 schools in cities and areas with low or moderate virus transmission can fully reopen for in-person learning, as long as physical distancing and mask-wearing is enforced,” Jordan Boyd reported on Feb. 12. “Any transmission rate beyond what is designated as moderate requires hybrid learning or ‘reduced attendance,’ limiting which children are allowed in the classroom at the same time.” . . .

As The Washington Post first reported, the Biden White House spent the month of March plotting with corporations to develop a “vaccine passport” system to force Americans to show their Covid papers in order to participate fully in society. “The passports are expected to be free and available through applications for smartphones, which could display a scannable code similar to an airline boarding pass,” the Post noted. Harris Doubles Down on Biden’s Doubt About Legitimacy of 2022 Elections (VIDEO)

Vice President Kamala Harris doubled down Thursday on President Biden’s eyebrow-raising comments questioning the legitimacy of the 2022 midterm elections if Democrats are unable to pass election reform measures in Congress.

In an interview on NBC’s “Today,” host Savannah Guthrie said it was “astonishing to hear Biden’s remarks about the ability to hold “free and fair elections” this November.

“The president has been consistent on this issue,” Harris said, noting Senate Democrats’ failure to approve the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act and the Freedom to Vote Act Wednesday evening as she affirmed Biden’s comments.

Democrats contend the measures are needed to counter legislation passed by Republican-led states that include provisions regulating early voting and mail-in balloting.

By Breitbart. President Joe Biden questioned the legitimacy of the 2022 midterm elections, after repeatedly lecturing former President Donald Trump and Republicans for casting doubts on the 2020 presidential election.

During a press conference at the White House, Biden was asked by a reporter if he believed the upcoming elections would be fair and legitimate.

“It all depends on whether or not we’re able to make the case to the American people that some of this is being set up to try to alter the outcome of the election,” Biden replied.

Biden recalled that Americans had the highest voter turnout during the 2020 election even though it was held in the middle of a pandemic.

Biden is pushing for passage of the Freedom to Vote Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, which would nationalize federal election laws. Republicans have blocked efforts to nationalize federal election laws, often arguing it subverts the Constitution.

The president, speaking to reporters at a formal press conference at the White House, was asked about the passage of his election bills and whether he believes the upcoming election would be fair without them. Biden appeared to dodge directly answering, telling the nation it “depends.”

“It all depends on whether or not we’re able to make the case to the American people that some of this is being set up to try and alter the outcome of the election,” Biden said. “And it’s one thing – look, maybe I’m just being too much of an optimist. Remember how we thought not that many people were going to show up to vote in the middle of a pandemic? Trump Interview: Biden’s Failed and America Wants ‘to Go Back to the Past’

Former President Donald Trump tonight brushed aside President Joe Biden’s bravado about his first year in office, claiming that people are eager for a border, economy, and nation the way he left it.

“They want to go back to the past,” Trump said in a phone interview. “They’re looking a little bit to the past. It’s so unfortunate in that way,” added Trump, describing the country under Biden as troubled.

In a call with a small handful of reporters to discuss his fast-selling photo book Our Journey Together, Trump decried the problems the country faces under Biden, who celebrates one year in office tomorrow.

Biden Says His 2024 Running Mate Will Be Kamala Harris

President Joe Biden on Wednesday committed to Vice President Kamala Harris as his running mate in 2024 when he runs for reelection.

“Yes and yes,” Biden responded during his first news conference of the year when a reporter asked whether Harris would be on his ticket and whether he thought she was doing a good job on voting rights policies. . .

“She’s going to be my running mate, number one,” he said. “And number two, I did put her in charge. I think she’s doing a good job.”

The vice president has been assigned to facilitate policy solutions on pivotal topics such as voting rights, immigration and border security, yet the lack of political movement on those issues has earned Harris criticism from both Republicans and Democrats.
