Sure, Joe: Biden Insists He Pressed China’s XI on COVID Origin — But Aides Weren’t in the Room (VIDEO)

Despite his press team being unaware of it, President Biden insisted he pressed Chinese President Xi Jinping to be transparent about the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Biden made the claim Wednesday in response to a question from The Post at just his second solo press briefing in a year — insisting the press staff, who have previously been asked the same question, weren’t aware of the key exchange because they weren’t in the room.

Biden called on The Post more than an hour into the event in the White House East Room and defended his handling of XI during the November summit.

But given no one on his press team was there, Americans will just have to take his word for it.

“President Biden, on the coronavirus, we’re tragically approaching nearly 1 million Americans who died, and I’d like to ask you why it is that during your 3 1/2-hour virtual summit in November with the Chinese president you didn’t press for transparency and also whether that has anything to do with your son’s involvement in an investment firm controlled by Chinese state-owned entities?” The Post asked.

Concerning Admission: Biden Admits Russia ‘Will Be Able to Prevail Over Time’ if It Invades Ukraine

President Biden blundered during his White House news conference Wednesday by saying that Russia’s military “will be able to prevail over time” if it launches an invasion of Ukraine — moments after suggesting that a “minor incursion” by Moscow on Kiev’s territory may see a less severe response from Washington and its NATO allies.

Biden began by vowing that “Russia will be held accountable” if it launches an attack against Ukraine, but then hedged by saying: “It depends on what it does.”

“It’s one thing if it’s a minor incursion, and then we end up having a fight about what to do and what not do, etc.,” the president went on. “But if they actually do what they’re capable of doing with the force they’ve massed on the border, it is going to be a disaster for Russia.”

“I’ve already shipped over $600 million worth of sophisticated equipment, defensive equipment to the Ukrainians,” Biden said moments later. “The cost of going into Ukraine in terms of the physical loss of life for the Russians — and they’ll, they’ll be able to prevail over time, but it’s going to be heavy. It’s going to be real. It’s going to be consequential.” (Read more from “Concerning Admission: Biden Admits Russia ‘Will Be Able to Prevail Over Time’ if It Invades Ukraine” HERE)

GOP Senators: Secret Service Hid Details of Hunter Biden’s Overseas Travel

Two Republican senators are demanding answers after the Secret Service refused to hand over details about Hunter Biden’s trips to Kazakhstan, Russia and China.

Biden, now 51, was granted Secret Service protection while his father was vice president from 2009-17 – although he requested it cease in July 2014.

At the time, he was a globe-trotting businessman, and Senators Ron Johnson of Wisconsin and Chuck Grassley of Iowa are investigating Biden for ‘his use of government-sponsored travel while he conducted private business.’

The senators have requested documents relating to Biden’s travel, and so far have received 259 pages from the Secret Service. But in a letter to director James Murray, they said that they ‘have serious concerns about the production’.

They note that the pages are heavily redacted, which they say is unnecessary for members of Congress, and they complained that they were missing entire years – 2010, 2011 and 2013. (Read more from “GOP Senators: Secret Service Hid Details of Hunter Biden’s Overseas Travel” HERE)

LOL: Joe Biden Doesn’t Understand Why Voters Think He’s Unfit for Presidency

President Joe Biden shrugged off polls showing voters believed he was not mentally fit, during a press conference at the White House on Wednesday.

One reporter asked Biden why only 40 percent of voters in a new Morning Consult survey believe Biden is mentally fit, 37 percent say he is in good health, and 43 percent believe he is stable.

“I have no idea,” Biden replied.

The president appeared aware of recent polling showing his approval ratings at record lows but expressed disbelief that his approval was low even among independents.

“I don’t believe the polls,” he said shortly. (Read more from “LOL: Joe Biden Doesn’t Understand Why Voters Think He’s Unfit for Presidency” HERE)

Just-Released Docs Deal Another Blow to Biden’s Legacy on Afghanistan

The Department of Defense (DOD) was warned that the Afghan Air Force would collapse without help from the U.S. months before President Joe Biden announced the country would withdraw from Afghanistan, according to a declassified watchdog report.

The watchdog report, declassified Tuesday and written by Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction John Sopko, was given to the DOD in January 2021, according to The Associated Press. It warned that the U.S. had not adequately trained support staff for the country and that the Afghan Air Force wouldn’t be able to keep up aircraft without U.S. help.

The report highlights the fact that the Biden administration was warned months ahead of time of the collapse of the Afghan Air Force. Biden was sharply criticized for his administration’s withdrawal process from the country, though the president has maintained that chaos was inevitable. His administration has also claimed that while they were prepared for the chaos, Afghanistan fell more quickly than anticipated following a rapid Taliban takeover.

Washington’s watchdog report echoes concerns made by Afghan officials regarding the U.S. withdrawal, the AP also noted.

“Most of the planes are back on the ground. They cannot fly and most of them are out of ammunition,” Ata Mohammed Noor, a warlord in northern Afghanistan, said in July. (Read more from “Just-Released Docs Deal Another Blow to Biden’s Legacy on Afghanistan” HERE)

U.S. Gets Sued Over Details About Biden’s Afghanistan Catastrophe

When Joe Biden abruptly pulled American soldiers out of Afghanistan, leaving behind both Americans and American war machinery to the terror-linked Taliban, there was immediate outrage. . .

Government watchdog Judicial Watch has filed two Freedom of Information Act cases against the Department of State “for records about the censorship of government reports about U.S. tax dollars spent on military support and equipment for Afghanistan.”

Also being sought are records about payments to Afghanistan’s government, or any member of the Taliban, during America’s departure.

First, the organization wants to know the details about what was removed from government websites about the costs of that equipment.

The case is seeking, “All records regarding the editing or removal from any public website of any report pertaining, in whole or in part, to any military equipment or training provided to the government of Afghanistan or any component thereof. This request includes, but is not limited to, any related directives or requests, as well as any related records of communication between any official or employee of the Department of State and any official or employee of any other branch, department, agency, or office of the Federal government.” (Read more from “U.S. Gets Sued Over Details About Biden’s Afghanistan Catastrophe” HERE)

Half of American’s Say They’re Mad About Biden Presidency

Half the respondents in a new CBS News poll released on Sunday said they were frustrated with Joe Biden’s presidency, just a few days before he marks his first full year in office.

When asked in the poll how Biden’s presidency made them feel, half of respondents said they were “frustrated” and “disappointed.” Additionally, 40 percent said his presidency made them feel “nervous,” while a quarter of respondents said it made them feel “calm” and “satisfied.”

Overall, respondents in the CBS News survey appeared to have a less than optimistic view on the current state of the country.

Nearly 75 percent of those surveyed said they felt that America was doing “somewhat” or “very” badly in a general sense.

A majority of people said that they disapproved of the way Biden was handling the economy, immigration, race relations, crime, inflation, policing and Afghanistan. (Read more from “Half of American’s Say They’re Mad About Biden Presidency” HERE)

Bidenflation Sends a Stumbling, Bumbling Biden Desperately Searching for Distractions

Even as President Joe Biden was spewing deplorable falsehoods about his political opponents in Atlanta, the chickens of his administration’s economy were coming home to roost. Wednesday’s Bureau of Labor Statistics report on inflation, revealing last month’s 7% inflation rate, sets yet another 40-year record, harkening back to the bad old days of double-digit interest rates and Paul Volcker’s bitter medicine for the economy of the early 1980s.

With this week’s report, it is clear that the Biden economy is in an inflation crisis. It is a crisis that neither Biden nor his useless Twitter-addicted senior staff has any clue how to fix. But they have all kinds of ideas about how to make it even worse. . .

But even as Biden tries his 79-year-old best to sound like his heart is in it, his rhetoric practically glows from its insincerity. It is hard to believe that a president proving to be such a disappointment in so many areas — foreign policy, immigration, the pandemic, the supply crisis, and the economy — is now attempting a massive power grab in the Senate so he can rig elections in his party’s favor and do even more damage to the economy through inflationary spending with the barest of legislative majorities.

Fortunately, Biden does not even have simple-majority support for this endeavor nor the full backing of his own party. This makes his push to destroy all the checks and balances on his power within the Senate even more absurd and needlessly divisive than it is. Nearly 50% Say Biden Is Dividing the Country

A plurality of Americans feel as though President Biden is dividing the country, despite his original pledge to unify, a Quinnipiac University Poll released this week found.

The survey, taken January 7-10, 2022, among 1,313 adults, asked respondents, “Do you feel that President Biden is doing more to unite the country or is doing more to divide the country?”

A plurality, 49 percent, said they feel as though Biden is doing more to divide the country, while 42 percent say he is uniting. However, that is outside of the survey’s +/- 2.7 percent margin of error.

Opinions are sharply divided on party lines, as 92 percent of Republicans say Biden is doing more to divide the country, compared to 84 percent of Democrats who say Biden is doing more to unite the country. Half of independents, however, believe he is doing more to divide the nation. (Read more from “Nearly 50% Say Biden Is Dividing the Country” HERE)

Coke, Strip Clubs and Hookers: Tell-All Memoir From Hunter Biden’s Ex-wife Won’t Shy Away From Salacious Details

Hunter Biden’s ex-wife Kathleen Buhle is set to release a tell-all memoir detailing how addiction and infidelity ended her 24-year marriage to President Joe Biden’s son.

Buhle’s book, titled “If We Break: A Memoir of Marriage, Addiction and Healing,” is described by the publisher as a “page-turning and heartbreaking” memoir that chronicles her upbringing, marriage to Hunter and the lessons she learned through the divorce. It is due to hit shelves June 14.

“I felt like I’d lost my sense of who I was. Anyone who has seen addiction ruin a relationship, or been through infidelity and divorce, can tell you how devastating it feels. But what I also realized through those crushing experiences is that I needed to find a way to stand on my own,” Buhle told People.

Separating in October 2015, details of the couple’s troubled relationship became public in 2017 after Buhle filed for divorce. The resulting court documents detailed how Biden squandered money on “hookers, strip clubs and drugs.” Six weeks before the divorce was finalized in April 2017, it was revealed that Biden was openly having an affair with his dead brother’s widow, Hallie.
