A Washington, D.C., district court judge temporarily blocked the Biden administration from firing unvaccinated federal employees who sued the government over religious exemptions.
“None of the civilian employee plaintiffs will be subject to discipline while his or her request for a religious exception is pending,” District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly ordered, Fox News reports.
Active duty military personnel whose religious exemptions have been denied also cannot be disciplined while the outcome of their appeals are pending.
Twenty plaintiffs sued President Biden and members of his administration in their official capacity over the president’s Sept. 9 executive order mandating vaccines for federal employees, according to civil action filed Sunday. (Fox News)

The American Trucking Associations (ATA) released new data this week showing a shortage of truck drivers has grown to historic proportions at the same time a supply chain crisis continues to spread just ahead of the busy holiday shopping season.
According to ATA, the trucking industry will be short 80,000 truck drivers by the end of 2021, a problem that could double to a shortage of 160,000 drivers by 2030. ATA attributes the shortage to a number of issues, including the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic that slowed or stopped training programs and DMV licensing of new drivers along with an increased number of retirements among its aging workforce.
Another issue highlighted by ATA is infrastructure, or a lack thereof, that limits truck drivers’ abilities to maximize productivity. Making matters worse is Biden’s vaccine mandate, something the ATA recently warned would make the driver shortage even worse as “many drivers will likely quit rather than get vaccinated.”

What’s the Biden administration doing about those issues? According to their infrastructure bill, they’re not taking the actions that would help. Instead of roads and bridges, as Townhall has covered, Biden’s idea of infrastructure is woke legislation designed to insert “equity” while demonizing the “dirty” industries that made America an economic juggernaut with Green New Deal policies that will further undermine the current transportation system.
In the name of “environmental justice,” Biden isn’t finding room to accommodate truck drivers’ needs. For example, instead of beefing up the infrastructure that provides locations for truck drivers to pull off on long-haul trips to sleep, he’s working toward making electric vehicle charging stations as ubiquitous as gas stations.

President Joe Biden met with Pope Francis at the Vatican Friday morning, but U.S. media traveling with the president were not granted access to the event.
The Vatican additionally canceled the live broadcast, a decision protested by the White House Correspondents’ Association, and the reporters, photographers, and television crews traveling with the president on his second European trip were barred from participating. The Vatican did provide a handful of photos of the visit and a heavily edited video of Biden and first lady Jill Biden touring the facilities.

President Joe Biden’s administration is considering a plan that would give border crossers, who were subjected to former President Donald Trump’s “Zero Tolerance” policy, about $450,000 each in a reparations-style payout.
Trump had instituted the Zero Tolerance policy at the United States-Mexico border in 2018 to reduce illegal immigration. The policy, as Breitbart News reported at the time, had been effective since at least before 2001.
As a result of the policy, adult border crossers were often put into separate holding facilities from the children they arrived with at the southern border. Since then, the border crossers who were subjected to the policy have sued the federal government.
The Biden administration, the Wall Street Journal reveals, is now weighing whether to provide those border crossers with $450,000 each as part of a payout in the lawsuits filed.
In some instances, a migrant family could secure about $1 million from such a payout, more than some of the American families received following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. In an Instagram photo shared by Old Row, fans hung a banner with the popular anti-Joe Biden saying, and it was at least 15 seats long. The saying became popular after a reporter claimed NASCAR fans were saying it instead of “F**k Joe Biden.”

A new poll reveals that more than one in three respondents believes the results of the 2020 presidential election definitely or probably should be overturned. . .
It revealed that when the question was, “Do you think the results of the 2020 presidential election should be overturned?” 22% said definitely, and another 13% said probably.
On the other side, 43% said the results should “definitely not” be overturned and 12% said probably not.
The results documented how the extensive legacy media and social media campaign ever since Joe Biden’s narrow wins in several swing states that ultimately gave him the Electoral College majority has failed.
Those outlets have characterized President Trump’s charges that the election was “stolen” through illegal or improper strategies is the “Big Lie.” Social media companies have suppressed not only those comments but evidence on those issues. President Biden on Tuesday seemed fixated on former President Donald Trump in a Virginia stump speech for Terry McAuliffe, the Democratic candidate for governor.
Biden mentioned Trump by name 24 times during a brisk 17-minute speech in a park near the Pentagon in northern Virginia, attempting to use his predecessor’s legacy to bash Republican Glenn Youngkin, who is tied with McAuliffe in polls in a state Biden won by 10 points just a year ago. . .

Biden even appeared to taunt Trump, who frequently boasted of low unemployment rates before the COVID-19 pandemic, saying, “Donald Trump is the only president since Herbert Hoover in the ’30s to see more jobs lost than gained.”
“He won’t allow Donald Trump to campaign for him in this state,” Biden claimed. “He’s willing to pledge his loyalty to Trump in private, why not in public? What’s he trying to hide? White House staff have made a habit of clarifying or outright rolling back President Joe Biden’s statements, leaving many critics questioning who is really in charge of the administration.
Few events have illustrated the White House’s propensity to edit the president’s comments than Biden’s performance at CNN’s town hall on Thursday. There, the president vowed that the U.S. had a “commitment” to defend Taiwan from Chinese aggression, and said he was considering a mobilization of the National Guard to alleviate supply chain chaos across the country. White House press secretary Jen Psaki nullified those statements the following day.
“There has been no shift,” Psaki said Friday of U.S. relations with Taiwan. “The president was not announcing a change in our policy, nor has he made a decision to change our policy. There is no change in our policy. Our defense relationship with Taiwan is guided by the Taiwan Relations Act.” . . .
While the president’s critics were quick to highlight the White House’s apparent editing of the president’s comments, it not the first time the president’s public comments have received such treatment from his administration.
Biden received the same treatment from his military generals in late September, when Gen. Kenneth McKenzie, the head of U.S. Central Command, testified to Congress that he had, in fact, advised Biden to keep 2,500 troops in Afghanistan. The testimony contradicted Biden’s public comments on his chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan in August, when he claimed his military advisers made no such recommendation. By Daily Wire. Rapper Bryson Gray’s song “Let’s Go Brandon” was banned Thursday from YouTube for allegedly containing “medical misinformation” and then apparently banned Sunday from Instagram for violating guidelines on “harmful false information.”
“Let’s Go Brandon” has become a viral anti-President Joe Biden saying following a recent NASCAR race, where an NBC reporter claimed fans were cheering on the race winner, Brandon Brown, when they were actually chanting “F*** Joe Biden.”
President Joe Biden’s approval rating hit a new low of just over 43% in FiveThirtyEight’s polling tracker as he confronts multiple economic and legislative headwinds.
Biden’s approval stood at 43.5%, and has steadily declined since July. His disapproval stood at 50.6%, the highest of his presidency.
Biden’s slide has coincided with another spike in coronavirus cases, a messy Afghanistan withdrawal and economic challenges ranging from supply chain issues to inflation. He has also pinned much of his domestic agenda on the bipartisan infrastructure bill and his sweeping budget, but left-wing and moderate Democrats have yet to agree on a compromise that would give both the votes needed to pass the House, where they hold just a three-vote margin, and the 50-50 Senate.
