Biden Says Putin Is “a Killer,” “Has No Soul,” and “Will Pay the Price” ; Putin to Biden After ‘Killer’ Comments: ‘It Takes One to Know One’

By New York Post. Biden made the comments about Putin during an interview on ABC’s “Good Morning America” following the release of a declassified report from the Director of National Intelligence that claimed the Kremlin interfered in the presidential election.

“He will pay a price. We had a long talk, he and I, I know him relatively well,” Biden said. “And the conversation started off, I said, ‘I know you and you know me. If I establish this occurred, then be prepared.’ ”

“Look, the most important thing dealing with foreign leaders in my experience — and I’ve dealt with an awful lot in my career — is just know the other guy.”

Asked if he thinks Putin is “a killer,” Biden responded, “I do.” . . .

Biden said he told the Russian leader, “I said, ‘I looked through your eyes, and I don’t think you have a soul,’ ” the president told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos — and Putin looked back and replied, “We understand each other.” (Read more from “Biden Says Putin Is “a Killer,” “Has No Soul,” and “Will Pay the Price” HERE)

Putin to Biden After ‘Killer’ Comments: ‘It Takes One to Know One’

By New York Post. Russian President Vladimir Putin said “it takes one to know one” and wished President Biden “good health” after Biden referred to his Russian counterpart as a “killer.”

Putin’s comments, which aired on Russian state TV, come as the Kremlin demanded that Biden apologize for his “killer” remark and Moscow recalled its ambassador to Washington, DC, in retaliation.

In an interview on ABC Wednesday, anchor George Stephanopoulos asked Biden if he believes Putin is a “killer.”

Biden responded: “I do.”

“I remember in my childhood, when we argued in the courtyard, we used to say: It takes one to know one. And that’s not a coincidence, not just a children’s saying or joke,” Putin said. “We always see our own traits in other people and think they are like how we really are. And as a result, we assess (a person’s) activities and give assessments.” (Read more from “Putin to Biden After ‘Killer’ Comments: ‘It Takes One to Know One'” HERE)

The Biden Administration Is Imposing a Media Blackout at the Border

On Wednesday, NBC News reported the Biden administration has imposed what amounts to a media blackout at the southwest border amid a worsening crisis.

Border Patrol agents, including sector chiefs and press officers, are under an unofficial gag order not to answer questions from the press, according to four current and two former Customs and Border Protection officials who spoke to NBC News on condition of anonymity.

Federal officials along the border, they say, have been verbally instructed—there is no official memo, no paper-trail—to deny all press requests for ride-alongs and refer all media inquiries, even from local reporters, to Washington. Officials responsible for gathering data about the number of illegal immigrants in federal custody, they say, have been told not to share that information with anyone to prevent possible leaks.

The blackout comes as the Biden administration continues to deny there’s a crisis at the border, even as the number of migrant children detained by CBP soars, overwhelming federal facilities ill-equipped to house and care for minors. As of Sunday, CBP had more than 4,200 minors in custody along the border, a record.

The Department of Homeland Security has not conducted any media tours of several hastily opened shelters for minors, included one in Donna, Texas, that was 729 percent over capacity earlier this month. Lawyers who have been inside these facilities and interviewed migrant children housed there report there is not enough food, bed space, or showers. Many of these minors are being held for much longer than allowed under federal law. (Read more from “The Biden Administration Is Imposing a Media Blackout at the Border” HERE)

21 States Sue Biden for Revoking Keystone Pipeline

Texas and Montana are leading a coalition of 21 states in a lawsuit filed Wednesday against President Biden over his decision to revoke a key permit for the Keystone XL oil pipeline.

Represented by Republican attorneys general, the states contend Biden had no authority to revoke the cross-border permit, arguing that only Congress can regulate interstate and international commerce.

The complaint contends Biden’s “arbitrary and capricious” decision could deprive states and local governments of millions of dollars in revenue.

Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen called Biden’s executive order “an empty virtue signal to his wealthy coastal elite donors.”

“The power to regulate foreign and interstate commerce belongs to Congress – not the president,” he said. “This is another example of Joe Biden overstepping his constitutional role to the detriment of Montanans.” (Read more from “21 States Sue Biden for Revoking Keystone Pipeline” HERE)

‘Unqualified’ Lawyer Confirmed by Senate to Manage Nation’s Health

In a 50-49 vote Thursday, the Senate confirmed an “unqualified” lawyer with a “far-left ideology,” Xavier Becerra, to manage Health and Human Services.

It was Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell who condemned Becerra’s “partisan warfare and his far-left ideology” and Carol Tobias, president of National Right to Life, who described him as “unqualified.”

“His confirmation shows just how far the pro-abortion Democrats are willing to go to support abortion on demand and the demands of pro-abortion groups,” she said. “Xavier Becerra has no health care experience but plenty of abortion advocacy and he is being rewarded by the Biden administration for that extremism.” . . .

The Associated Press reported Becerra is “filling a key position in the Biden administration’s coronavirus response and its ambitious push to lower drug costs, expand insurance coverage, and eliminate racial disparities in medical care.”

But he built his reputation on none of those issues while serving as California’s attorney general and as a congressman. (Read more from “‘Unqualified’ Lawyer Confirmed by Senate to Manage Nation’s Health” HERE)

U.S. Plans To Send AstraZeneca Vaccines To Mexico, Canada

The Biden administration is working on plans to send about 4 million doses of Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine to neighboring countries as a loan, the White House announced Thursday.

According to the Associated Press, the Biden administration has been developing plans to distribute AstraZeneca vaccines to other countries on a “loan” that would involve sending 2.5 million vaccines to Mexico and 1.5 million vaccines to Canada. The AstraZeneca vaccine hasn’t been authorized for emergency use in the United States, meaning that the supply owned by the government has stayed idle even as other countries have begun to publicly administer it. According to ABC News, the U.S. currently owns about 10 million AstraZeneca vaccines.

“Our first priority remains vaccinating the U.S. population,” said White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki during a press conference Thursday. She also remarked that “ensuring our neighbors can contain the virus” is “mission-critical to ending the pandemic.”

Psaki, who noted other countries have requested AstraZeneca vaccines from the U.S., said the tentative plans involve “assessing how we can loan doses” to other countries.

“That is our aim, it’s not fully finalized yet, but that is our aim and what we’re working toward — to Canada and Mexico. This is a complex process, and our team is working with the companies to move it forward,” added Psaki. (Read more from “U.S. Plans To Send AstraZeneca Vaccines To Mexico, Canada” HERE)

Kim Jong Un’s Sister Offers ‘Word of Advice’ to U.S. as Biden Officials Start Asia Trip

The sister of North Korea leader Kim Jong Un warned the Biden administration on Monday that military actions near the country’s border could make Americans “lose sleep,” state media reported Tuesday.

The statement was delivered Tuesday by Kim Yo-jong in Pyongyang’s official Rodong Sinmun newspaper — and comes after the US last week began joint military exercises with South Korea.

In the statement, Jong offered “a word of advice to the new administration of the United States that is struggling to spread the smell of gunpowder on our land.

“If you wish to sleep well for the next four years, it would be better not to create work from the start that will make you lose sleep,” she said. (Read more from “Kim Jong Un’s Sister Offers ‘Word of Advice’ to U.s. as Biden Officials Start Asia Trip” HERE)

Joe Biden Breaks Promise to Not Raise Taxes on ‘Anybody’ Making Less Than $400K

As a candidate, His Fraudulency Joe Biden pledged not to raise taxes on “anybody” making $400,000 or less. On Wednesday, the White House basically announced Biden had lied. Akshually, the number is more like $200,000.

Back in August, during an interview with far-left ABC News, Biden declaratively said, “I will raise taxes for anybody making over $400,000.” . . .

On Wednesday, Press Secretary Lyin’ Ginger informed the world what Biden reeealllyyy meant was that he would raise taxes on pretty much everyone making $200,000:

White House press secretary Jen Psaki on Wednesday clarified that President Biden’s proposed tax hike would apply to people who earn $200,000 per year if they are married to someone who makes the same amount.

Psaki said at her daily press briefing that the proposed $400,000 threshold for tax increases applies to “families” rather than individuals.

More Evidence Emerges That the Media Is on Team Biden

Just over three weeks before Election Day 2016, Chris Cillizza, now with CNN, infamously tweeted, “Let me say for the billionth time: Reporters don’t root for a side. Period.”

No doubt he really believed it, as do many journalists who truly feel they are treating their stories’ subjects fairly. But as a group, their overall body of work shows quite clearly that they have “put on the jersey,” meaning that members of mainstream media are squarely on President Joe Biden’s team and have been since before Election Day 2020.

In the latest iteration of the media’s anti-Trump bias, The Washington Post was forced to issue a massive and embarrassing correction on its reporting of a phone call between former President Donald Trump and a Georgia official regarding disputed election results.

The quotes attributed to Trump by a single, anonymous source were things he actually did not say, as proven by a recording of the call released two months after the original, erroneous reporting.

Unexplained in this fiasco is how multiple news outlets were able to independently and wrongly confirm the initial, factually inaccurate story in the first place.

Worse, the fake quotes included in the first version of the Georgia phone call story were seized upon by Democrats and deployed during Trump’s second impeachment trial. Here was bad reporting being weaponized for political purposes.

This should be a jarring wake-up call for journalists. In all likelihood, it probably will not be.

As communications director for the Trump 2020 campaign for two years, I saw the media’s bias in action daily. Perhaps there was no better example than our elongated struggle to get Beltway reporters to cover the story surrounding Hunter Biden’s business dealings, which we viewed as a scandal that involved Joe Biden every bit as much as his son.

The media dug in and enforced an almost total news blackout of the story of Hunter Biden’s laptop, which contained emails that we strongly believed connected Joe Biden himself as having known about, approved of, and possibly benefitted from Hunter Biden’s foreign schemes. Social media giants blocked users from sharing it and Twitter even locked the account of the New York Post for having broken the story in the first place.

Most outlets only reported on the laptop in the context of trying to discredit it as an implication of Joe Biden. And almost every publication trumpeted a letter from “former senior intelligence officials,” who wrote that the information contained on the laptop seemed like “Russian disinformation,” even though they admitted they had no actual knowledge of that being the case.

The emergence of Tony Bobulinski, Hunter Biden’s former business partner, did little to sway reporters, who were alarmingly unconcerned about his adamant assertion that Joe Biden knew all about the overseas transactions and was actually cut in on some of the action.

And when James Rosen of Sinclair Broadcasting broke the story that in 2019 the FBI opened a money laundering investigation into Hunter Biden and his associates, which was still considered “open and ongoing,” no one else in the Beltway media showed the slightest interest.

Over the course of the last two weeks of the 2020 campaign, we held repeated conference calls with the media, often featuring U.S. senators and members of the House of Representatives, calling on reporters to lift the blackout and cover the story in the manner it deserved.

As Election Day neared, we implored journalists to tap their sources at the Department of Justice to confirm the FBI investigation into the activities of Hunter Biden and his associates, as Rosen had done for Sinclair Broadcasting.

There were no takers, except for a few who went through the front door of the Department of Justice press office to receive a standard refusal to comment, rather than enlisting the legion of anonymous sources they frequently used to write stories about Trump.

It was not until Dec. 9, 2020—more than a month after the election—that the media felt safe to report on the FBI investigation into Hunter Biden. And that was only because he issued a statement himself confirming its existence.

The media blackout worked. Trump pollster John McLaughlin found that 36% of Joe Biden voters were unaware of the entire saga, and that 4.6% of total Biden voters would have changed their minds if they had known about it—clearly enough to swing the election in key states.

With Election Day behind them, major news outlets have continued their practice of slanted reporting, both to continue heaping scorn on Trump and to promote Biden.

Another way to gauge which way the media leans is to examine accounts of similar episodes occurring under both Trump’s and Biden’s administrations. The disparate treatment of comparable events is striking.

In March 2020, The Washington Post gloomily reported on Trump’s approval of a coronavirus relief package under the headline, “Trump signs $2 trillion coronavirus bill into law as companies and households brace for more economic pain.”

Nearly a year later, the Post openly celebrated Biden’s approval of a $1.9 trillion package by tweeting the headline, “Biden stimulus showers money on Americans, sharply cutting poverty in defining move of presidency.”

In an apoplectic headline about the Trump administration’s response to the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, The New York Times fumed, “In Extraordinary Statement, Trump Stands With Saudis Despite Khashoggi Killing.”

But when Biden failed to take any strong action against the Saudis after he became president, The New York Times gave it a soft landing with the friendly and empathetic headline, “Biden Won’t Penalize Saudi Crown Prince Over Khashoggi’s Killing, Fearing Relations Breach.”

The media is forever creative, however, as sometimes a clear Democratic scandal can also be turned against Republicans. Take, for example, the handling of two scandals battering New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo—the forcing of COVID-19 patients into nursing homes while covering up the number of deaths, and the growing list of women accusing him of sexual assault and harassment.

On the story involving Cuomo’s alleged conduct with women, the venerable Associated Press was still able to work in criticism of Republicans and praise for Biden at the same time, offering this opinion in what masqueraded as a straight news piece:

Republicans have seized on the scandal to try to distract from Biden’s success tackling the coronavirus pandemic and challenge his party’s well-established advantage with female voters.

To the credit of some in the White House press corps, a substantial amount has been written about Biden’s refusal to hold a press conference, likely because reporters have personal interest in such an event. So Biden, who was excessively protected from the media by staff during the campaign and has been known to wander wildly off-script, has yet to face wide-ranging and rapid-fire questioning.

But that did not stop Politico from gushing that Biden “has surprised some of his former colleagues and allies with a largely gaffe-free White House debut,” despite purposefully limited opportunities to make such mistakes.

The mainstream press wants very much for the public to believe that they have not chosen sides. But their 2020 campaign coverage and their reporting on the first weeks of the new president reveal that too many of them are indeed wearing the Biden jersey. Joe Biden Finally Comments on Cuomo Scandal (VIDEO)

President Joe Biden told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos that he believes New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo should resign if an investigation into sexual misconduct allegations against him confirm the claims.

“I think he’ll probably end up being prosecuted, too,” the president told Stephanopoulos.

The comment comes after seven women have come forward with allegations against the governor, including one that he groped a woman. He has denied the claims and refused to resign.

The president reiterated his belief that “a woman should be presumed telling the truth and should not be scapegoated and become victimized by her coming forward.” He also noted that allegations should be investigated to “determine whether what she says is true.”

64 Countries Defend Communist China’s Genocide Against the Uyghurs

While the U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken carried on the Trump administration’s condemnation of the Chinese Communist Party’s raging human rights violations against the Uyghur religious minority group in Xinjiang as “crimes against humanity and genocide” last week, Cuba and other countries defended China’s actions.

Cuba, joined by 63 other countries including China, called on the U.S. and other nations on Friday to “stop interfering in China’s internal affairs by manipulating Xinjiang-related issues, (and) refrain from making unfounded allegations against China out of political motivations.” The joint statement claimed Xinjiang is “an inseparable part of China.”

Just last year, Cuba, along with 45 other countries, released a similar propaganda-filled statement, which was featured on multiple CCP state-run media sites, condemning countries such as the U.S. for making “unfounded allegations against China and interference out of political motivation and bias. The joint statement also praised China’s “people-centered philosophy in advancing economic and social sustainable development, eradicating poverty, increasing employment, improving people’s living standard and promoting and protecting human rights.” . . .

President Joe Biden previously dismissed China’s actions as a “different norm,” saying that he would not “speak out against” the country or its communist leaders. (Read more from “64 Countries Defend Communist China’s Genocide Against the Uyghurs” HERE)
