Illegals First Agenda: Biden’s Border Crisis Is Displacing Foster Kids

As President Joe Biden and his administration continue to downplay the surge of illegal aliens, many of them unaccompanied minors, at the U.S.-Mexico border, Americans across the nation are grappling with the changes and effects the Democrat’s disastrous border crisis is having in their communities. . .

Last week, a family located in a suburb of Seattle, more than 1,000 miles from the southern U.S. border, was asked to vacate the home they used to foster approximately 20 children over the last seven years because the nonprofit that provided it to them has “chosen to pursue a different strategic vision” and is beginning to “provide a different scope of services in support of unaccompanied youth.”

Using federal funds offered by the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), Friends of Youth will turn the house, once used to give the family’s foster children who struggle with “severe behavioral problems” a place to live, into a facility for illegal and unaccompanied migrant children, despite the state’s widespread housing shortage for troubled youth requiring “therapeutic beds.” The decision, foster father Edmundo Serena Sanchez told King 5, “had a devastating impact on the four children in his foster care who will likely be required to move to new foster homes” because he can’t afford a house large enough to hold them.

That same week, the Department of Health and Human Services’ ORR requested federal workers to volunteer for “120-day deployments” to assist with the overwhelming number of unaccompanied migrant children flooding the border every day. New Poll Shows ‘Warning Signs’ for President Biden

President Joe Biden is facing such struggles that even ABC’s Kendall Karson foretells of “warning signs” from their poll released on Sunday, conducted March 26 and March 27 with 517 adults. This is especially the case when it comes to “areas of his agenda where external events have imposed new urgency,” including when it gun control and unaccompanied minors.

Fifty-seven percent of adults disapprove of Biden’s handling of “the situation with migrants and unaccompanied children showing up at the US-Mexican border,” as well as when it comes to “gun violence.” . . .

President Biden especially can’t win when it comes to gun control. Karson notes that, with added emphasis, “Biden’s handling of gun violence draws disapproval from 86% of Republicans, 56% of independents and 37% of Democrats — the highest dissatisfaction among members of his own party of the issues asked about in the survey. White House Confirms Biden Will Sign Executive Order on Gun Control (VIDEO)

The White House confirmed on Friday that President Joe Biden will sign executive orders on gun control.

During Friday’s White House press conference, CNN Chief White House Correspondent Kaitlan Collins asked, “Should we still be expecting executive orders from the President on gun measures?” White House press secretary Jen Psaki replied, “Yes,” and said there isn’t “an exact timeframe” on the gun control actions.

“I will note that when the president was the vice-president in the Obama-Biden administration, he helped put in place 23 executive actions to combat gun violence,” Psaki added. “It’s one of the levers that we can use, that any federal government, any President can use to help address the prevalence of gun violence and address community safety around the country.” . . .

“Executive actions are of course, an important lever that every president has at their disposal,” Psaki stated. “There’s current discussions and analysis internally of what steps can be taken,.that that has been ongoing for several weeks, even before these two recent tragedies, that he looks forward to getting an update on and seeing what can be moved forward on that front as well. President Kamala? Veep Bucks Biden Order To Enforce Border Control

Vice President Kamala Harris is dodging a Wednesday request by President Joe Biden to bolster the enforcement of migration laws in Mexico and Latin American countries.

On March 24, in a televised statement, Biden directed Harris to get the Mexican and Central American governments to forcibly block poor migrants moving towards the United States. Biden said: “The Vice President … agreed to lead our diplomatic effort and work with those nations to accept returnees and enhance migration enforcement at their borders — at their borders.” [emphasis added] . . .

On Friday, Symone Sanders, Harris’s press secretary, redefined the request.

“The president asked the vice president to take on the diplomatic effort, with Mexico and countries in the northern triangle to address the root causes of migration,” she said. “There are many reasons that move these folks to make this dangerous journey.”

“This is an amazing dismissal by a vice president of her president in a very public fashion,” said Ken Cuccinelli, who served as deputy homeland security chief under President Donald Trump. “I cannot ever remember seeing this happen before.” (Read more from “President Kamala? Dictator Joe: Biden Promises Executive Action on Guns

President Joe Biden said he plans to take aggressive action to implement new gun-control measures through both executive orders and by proposing legislation on Thursday.

When asked whether he plans to unilaterally enact new restrictions on homemade firearms, provide funding for state and local gun-control efforts, or propose legislation making gun manufacturers liable for criminal misuse of their products, Biden said he does.

“All the above,” he said. “It’s a matter of timing.” . . .

This is the second time in a week Biden has promised to institute new gun-control policies either by legislation or executive action. In response to the mass shooting in Colorado on Monday, Biden gave a short speech calling on the Senate to take up the two House gun-control bills as well as pass a ban on popular firearms such as the AR-15. Biden’s Press Conference Was Elder Abuse

By Washington Times. It was an hour of incoherent babbling — except for when President Joseph R. Biden read directly from his talking points. The questions were polite and predictable — from preselected, approved reporters. The answers were long-winded, listless and meandering — what we’ve come to expect from Mr. Biden.

It’s clear Mr. Biden is not up to the job, that’s why his team waited 65 days — the longest of any president in 100 years — to schedule his first solo press conference.

Mr. Biden came armed with a binder full of notes, which he read directly from while responding to questions about China, North Korea and Afghanistan. It was his cheat sheet, and he needed it. No reporter asked him about it.

Former press secretary Ari Fleischer tweeted he’s never before seen a president bring a typed, multi-page question-and-answers document to a news conference. But this is Mr. Biden’s White House, and his team knows their boss needs a study guide.

The 10 reporters who got to ask questions were preselected by Mr. Biden’s team. Notably, Fox News’ Peter Doocy was never called upon. Too controversial. Biden Gives Canned, Confusing Answer When Asked if He Supports Abolishing the Filibuster

By The Federalist. In his first press conference since being inaugurated 64 days ago, President Joe Biden gave a threatening but unclear answer on whether he would support eliminating the filibuster in the Senate.

When asked by CNN’s Chief White House Correspondent Kaitlan Collins, Biden said he concurs with former President Barack Obama’s stance that the filibuster is “a relic of the Jim Crow era,” but provided an incomprehensible answer on how the filibuster is being abused.

“Successful electoral politics is the art of the possible,” Biden abruptly said, after looking at the ground for several seconds in silence. “Let’s figure out how we can get this done and move in the direction of significantly changing the abuse of even the filibuster rule, first. It’s been abused since the time it came into being by an extreme way in the last twenty years. Let’s deal with the abuse first.”

When Collins followed up asking Biden if he is close to eliminating the filibuster, the president said, “I answered your question.”

Biden to Add $60 Million in Taxpayer Dollars to Abortionists’ Bank Accounts

Planned Parenthood, the biggest player in the nation’s abortion industry, already received some $618 million from taxpayers in the last year for which reports are available.

Now President Biden wants to give Planned Parenthood a 10% raise, adding $60 million to its bank account, notes the American Center for Law and Justice. All of it coming from taxpayers.

“The Biden administration may go down as one of the most pro-abortion, pro-Planned Parenthood administrations in American history,” the ACLJ said. “We told you President Biden has already taken steps to once again make working Americans pay for international abortions.

“In its last reported year alone, Planned Parenthood unabashedly proclaimed that it had raked in a staggering $618 MILLION in government support – your tax dollars – breaking its own vile record. That while topping another personal best – or worst – committing almost 355,000 abortions. It’s sickening.”

The ACLJ explained Biden now has directed the Department of Health and Human Services to review and decide “as soon as practicably,” a plan to reverse the previous rule that disallowed organizations that promote and conducts abortions from accessing Title X funds. President Joe Biden formally stated Thursday that he plans to run for reelection in 2024.

“The answer is yes, my plan is to run for reelection,” Biden said during his first solo press conference as president. “That’s my expectation.”

LIAR, LIAR: Harris Claims No One Is Taking Away Guns While Dems Gear Up To Do Just That; 9th Circuit Rules: No Constitutional Right to Open Carry

By The Federalist. Vice President Kamala Harris said no one is “trying to come after your guns” as President Joe Biden and congressional Democrats prepare to do exactly that. . .

Harris’s comments come as Biden and his allies in Congress are calling for a federal ban on assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, restricting gun access for even law-abiding citizens after multiple deadly shootings in the last two weeks.

“We can ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines in this country once again,” Biden said shortly after the shooting in Boulder, Colorado. “I got that done when I was a senator. It passed. It was the law for the longest time. And it brought down these mass killings. We should do it again.”

Biden also urged legislators to pass bills expanding a background check system for firearm sales, a change that some senators on the left side of the aisle think could garner enough Republican support to bypass the filibuster, which multiple members are trying to abolish. Carrying Guns in Public Is Not a Constitutional Right, Ninth Circuit Rules

By Court House News. Americans have no right to carry guns in public, a divided en banc Ninth Circuit panel ruled Wednesday, reversing a prior Ninth Circuit decision that struck down a Hawaii firearm restriction as unconstitutional.

“There is no right to carry arms openly in public; nor is any such right within the scope of the Second Amendment,” U.S. Circuit Judge Jay Bybee, a George W. Bush appointee, wrote for the majority of an 11-judge panel in a 127-page opinion. . .

Plaintiff George Young sued Hawaii in 2012 for denying his applications for permits to carry a concealed or openly visible handgun. A Hawaii state law requires a license to carry a gun in public.

Under a Hawaii County regulation, the police chief may only grant such licenses to those who need a gun for their job or who show “reason to fear injury” to their “person or property.” No one other than a security guard has ever obtained an open-carry license in Hawaii, lawyers for the county acknowledged during a Ninth Circuit hearing in 2018. President of Mexico: Border Crisis Is Biden’s Fault (VIDEO)

Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador blamed President Joe Biden on Tuesday for the ongoing immigration crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border, suggesting that the new president and his administration provoked mass migration by broadcasting open-borders policies.

The left-wing politician, often referred to as AMLO, appeared to agree with conservative critics of the president, who say that his departure from former President Donald Trump’s tougher stance on immigration has resulted in unprecedented numbers of migrants surging into the country, Newsweek reported.

“Expectations were created that with the government of President Biden, there would be a better treatment of migrants. And this has caused Central American migrants, and also from our country, wanting to cross the border thinking that it is easier to do so,” the Mexican president said during a Tuesday press conference.

Later in the same press conference, according to Newsweek, Obrador blamed Biden for making matters worse at the border by ignoring the fact that bad actors such as smugglers and traffickers are able to capitalize on the mass migration.
