Biden Administration Misses Its Own Deadline for Mask Standards

The Biden administration missed its self-imposed deadline to issue temporary mask standards for workplaces as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration tries to determine whether an emergency order is needed to protect workers from the coronavirus, according to a report.

President Biden in an executive order on Jan. 21 directed the government “consider whether any emergency temporary standards on COVID-19, including with respect to masks in the workplace, are necessary, and if such standards are determined to be necessary, issue them by March 15, 2021.”

But no standard was issued Monday, Fox News reported.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki acknowledged that the administration has blown the deadline, but she said OSHA has yet to make a determination as she responded to a question about whether the regulation would harm businesses already struggling to survive. By Breitbart. President Joe Biden’s policies are fueling a crisis at the southern border that endangers American citizens, puts the lives of unaccompanied children at risk, and fuels sex trafficking, a group of GOP lawmakers declared Monday.

Led by House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), the congressional delegation, including some of the top Republicans on committees with jurisdiction over America’s southern international boundary, traveled to a section of the U.S.-Mexico Border in Texas.

“I came down here because I heard of the crisis. It’s more than a crisis. This is a human heartbreak. The sad part about all this is it didn’t have to happen,” McCarthy said, adding, “There’s no other way to [call] it than a Biden Border crisis.”

The Republicans asserted that the Biden Administration’s changes to the previous administration’s border policies have incentivized migrants to make the dangerous journey to the United States and made the cartels involved in human trafficking more money in the process. The Taxman Cometh: Biden Reportedly Planning Hikes for These Earners

On the heels of his $1.9 trillion coronavirus stimulus package, President Biden is planning the first major tax hike since 1993 to ​help pay for initiatives on infrastructure, climate and for continued assistance to America’s poor, according to a report Monday.

The boost could include an increase in the corporate tax rate and the individual rate for individuals earning over $400,000 per year, among others, Bloomberg News reported.

The outlet also reported the Biden administration sees adjusting the tax rate not only as a means to pay for projects, but also as an opportunity to control inequities in the economic system.

According to Bloomberg, proposals currently under consideration by the White House include raising the corporate tax rate to 28 percent from 21 percent, reining in tax preferences for “pass-through businesses,” raising the income tax rate on individuals earning more than $400,000, broadening the estate tax, and a higher capital gains tax rate for individuals earning at least $1 million per year.

Biden’s History of Alleged Inappropriate Touching Relevant Again as He Refuses to Condemn Alleged Perv Cuomo

President Biden refused to join the chorus of fellow Democrats calling for New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo to resign, as Cuomo faces multiple scandals, including allegations of improper touching.

Cuomo has denied any wrongdoing and claimed any unwanted contact or kissing was not meant to be offensive but simply his “customary” greeting. Biden has similarly defended himself from accusations that he has inappropriately touched women. . .

Biden’s statement followed accusations from multiple women who said he made them uncomfortable. Writer D.J. Hill told the New York Times that in 2012 while she and her husband posed for pictures with Biden he placed his hand on her shoulder and moved it down her back, making her “very uncomfortable.”

Former college student Caitlyn Caruso told the Times that she met Biden when she was 19 at an event about sexual assault that took place at University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Caruso claimed Biden placed his hand on her thigh and hugged her “just a little bit too long” – after Caruso had spoken about her own experience with sexual assault.

Vail Kohnert-Yount told the Washington Post that when she was a White House intern in 2013 she had an awkward encounter with the then-vice president when Biden came over to introduce himself. Biden: Obey Dr. Fauci or You’ll Be Locked Down Past July 4; Healthy Mom Dies After Second Vaccine Dose

By The Federalist. President Joe Biden threatened Americans to obey Dr. Anthony Fauci’s pandemic edicts Thursday in a prime-time address on the one-year anniversary of the first coronavirus lockdowns.

“We need everyone to get vaccinated. We need everyone to keep washing their hands. We need everyone to keep wearing the mask,” Biden said from the White House, after telling the American people if they follow Dr. Anthony Fauci’s orders, they might get to spend the 4th of July holiday with their friends and neighbors. But, Biden maintained, “that doesn’t mean large events.”

No guarantees were offered for re-opening even as the president pledged every American adult would be eligible for a coronavirus vaccine by May 1.

Utah Mom Dies Four Days After 2nd Dose of Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine

By KRON 4. An autopsy has been ordered after a Utah mom died just four days after receiving the second dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, KUTV reports.

Kassidi Kurill, mother of one, got the vaccine due to her work as a surgical technician for several plastic surgeons, the local news outlet reports. . .

According to Kurill’s father, her arm was sore after the first shot and she experienced no other side effects, but it was when she received her second dose things went wrong.

Kurill landed in the ER, where “she was very, very sick, and her liver was not functioning,” Hawley told KUTV. . .

Reuters reports Mexican leaders, including left-wing president Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, fear the Biden administration is stoking illegal immigration and creating business for organized crime.

Central American nations, said Lopez Obrador, “see Biden as the migrant president, and so many feel they’re going to reach the United States.”

“We need to work together to regulate the flow, because this business can’t be tackled from one day to the next, the Mexican presidentsaid the day after his March 1 virtual meeting with Biden.

Reuters reported internal assessments, based on testimonies and intelligence gathering, state that amid U.S. measures that “incentivize migration,” Mexican gangs are diversifying methods of smuggling and winning clients. House to Debate Immigration Reform as GOP Blasts Biden Over Border Crisis

By New York Post. The House of Representatives will debate two bills aimed at reforming the US immigration system next week, as Republican leaders slam President Biden for allowing the crisis at the southern border to spiral out of control. . .

Next week, the House will debate two bills aimed at fixing “our broken immigration system,” according to a schedule released Thursday by House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.).

One, the American Dream and Promise Act, would establish a path to citizenship for millions of young illegal immigrants, including those afforded temporary protected status dubbed “Dreamers.” . . .

The attempts at reform come as GOP leaders are blasting Biden for his failure to address the growing humanitarian and security crisis at the border.

President Biden Forgets His Mask, Again

President Joe Biden again forgot to put his mask back on at an event Thursday, even as he repeatedly calls for Americans to wear masks to stop the coronavirus pandemic.

Biden arrived wearing his mask for a bill signing ceremony at the Oval Office but removed it to sign the bill and make remarks to reporters.

After doing so, the president stood up without his mask to leave.

He put a note card and his mask in his suit coat pocket as he smiled and walked out with Vice President Kamala Harris.

Biden Just Endorsed a Law That Endangers 57 Million Jobs

With the rise of gig economy jobs such as driving for Uber and other forms of independent work enabled by the digital era, more than 57 million Americans now work as freelancers in some capacity. But President Biden just endorsed a radical labor law that endangers their livelihood.

House Democrats recently reintroduced the PRO Act, which, among many sweeping reforms, would make many commonplace forms of independent contractor (freelance) arrangements illegal. It’s based on a California law that was so dysfunctional even voters in the very blue state voted to change it.

“The Administration strongly encourages the House to pass [the PRO Act] and looks forward to working with the Congress to enact this critical legislation that safeguards workers’ rights to organize and bargain collectively,” the White House said in a statement on Monday. “The PRO Act will strengthen our democracy and advance dignity in the workplace.”

Far from “advancing dignity,” in reality, this law would strip millions of their income.

It purports to stop workers from being “misclassified” as freelancers in order to force companies to hire them full-time. But the PRO Act’s redefinition of freelance worker is so narrow that a worker can only provide a company with a freelance service that is outside its normal purview. For example, Uber is a driving company. It couldn’t hire drivers as freelancers, but it could potentially hire a janitor as a freelancer. Poll: Letting Transgender Athletes Compete in Women’s Sports Is an Unpopular, Fringe Viewpoint

A new poll out Wednesday by Politico and Morning Consult shows President Joe Biden’s day one executive order effectively eliminating girls’ sports with the mandated inclusion of transgender athletes is deeply unpopular.

According to the survey of 1,990 registered voters conducted March 6-8, 53 percent of respondents support a ban on transgender athletes competing in women’s sports. Only a third of those surveyed were opposed. Such bans under Biden’s executive order forfeit institutions of any federal funding.

A deeper dive into the data further erodes the idea that the radical proposal to impose biological males into women’s sports is mainstream, and suggests it stems from corporate outlets becoming exhaustively woke.

Among the subgroups surveyed including men, women, Republicans, Democrats, Independents, Gen Z, Millennials, and Baby Boomers, only a majority of Democrats and Gen Z participants reported they were opposed to a ban on transgender athletes in women’s sports. And even those groups fell within the survey’s 2 percent margin of error.

Biden White House Hammered for ‘Religious Discrimination’

President Biden’s firing of the general counsel for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, a non-partisan position, reflects an intolerance of religious rights, critics contend.

EEOC lawyer Sharon Gustafson, appointed in 2019 for a term scheduled to end in 2023, was told to resign. She refused, so Biden immediately fired her.

BizPacReview reported the Biden administration dismissed Gustafson allegedly because they regarded her as “anti-LGBTQ.”

The report cited former Obama EEOC general counsel David Lopes.
