Biden Says He’ll Keep U.S. Troops in the Middle East If Elected President

Former Vice President Joe Biden said in an interview Thursday that he would keep an enduring U.S. troop presence in the Middle East if elected president.

“These ‘forever wars’ have to end. I support drawing down the troops. But here’s the problem, we still have to worry about terrorism and [the Islamic State],” Biden told military newspaper Stars and Stripes in a phone interview.

Biden supports a “small U.S. military footprint” whose primary mission would be to facilitate special operations against the Islamic State in Iraq or Syria (ISIS), or other terrorist organizations, according to the paper.

Biden said there should be a “maximum” of 1,500 to 2,000 on the ground, but did not specify where he meant.

Trump Again Suggests Biden Used Drugs to Enhance Performance in Primary Debates; Biden Spokesman Refuses to Answer Question on Dem’s Teleprompter Use

By Fox News. President Trump has once again implied that former Vice President Joe Biden used drugs to sharpen his performance during the Democratic primary debates.

“I think there’s probably — possibly — drugs involved,” Trump told Fox News host Jeanine Pirro in an interview airing Saturday night. ” That’s what I hear. I mean, there’s possibly drugs. I don’t know how you can go from being so bad where you can’t even get out a sentence …” he trailed off.

The president offered no evidence to support his claims nor did he say what drug he thought Biden was taking, but stated that his theory was based on his own observations.

“I mean, you saw some of those debates with the large number of people on the stage,” Trump added. “He was — I mean, I used to say, ‘How is it possible that he can even go forward?'”

Trump went on to claim Biden only won the Democratic nomination “because Elizabeth Warren didn’t drop out. Biden Spokesman Refuses to Discuss Whether Former VP Used Teleprompter to Answer Questions

By Fox News. Former Vice President Joe Biden’s national press secretary attempted to deflect a question about whether the Democratic nominee used a teleprompter to answer questions from regular Americans Thursday, claiming President Trump’s campaign was trying to use the issue as a “distraction.”

“We are not going to — this is straight from the Trump campaign talking points,” TJ Ducklo told “Special Report” host Bret Baier.

“And what it does, Bret, is it’s trying to distract the American people from –,” Ducklo began to add before Baier interjected and asked him to provide a yes or no answer.

“They talk about it every day, Bret, because they don’t have a coherent strategy … they talk about it every day because they don’t have a coherent argument for why Donald Trump deserves reelection, deserves four more years,” Ducklo went on.

“We know that he lied to the American people. This Moment Between Pence and Biden at the 9/11 Memorial Is Getting a Lot of Attention (VIDEO)

They may be rivals on the campaign trail, but as the nation marks the 19th year since the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and Vice President Mike Pence put politics aside.

The two briefly chatted and tapped elbows — a common replacement for shaking hands amid the coronavirus pandemic — as they both attended the annual memorial service at Ground Zero in New York City, at the site where more than 2,600 people died on Sept. 11, 2001, when two airliners hijacked by Al Qaeda terrorists slammed into the World Trade Center, collapsing the Twin Towers.

The former vice president and his wife, Jill Biden, were accompanied by New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Sen. Chuck Schumer of New York, the Senate Minority Leader, as they arrived at the National September 11 Memorial Plaza in lower Manhattan. As the traditional reading of the names of those killed when the Twin Towers collapsed got underway, Biden and Pence stood just a few feet apart. Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, a brief rival during the 2020 Democratic presidential primaries, also stood nearby and briefly greeted Biden. One of former Vice President Joe Biden’s top advisers appeared to bristle at NBC anchor Chuck Todd’s question on Friday about the presumptive Democratic nominee’s comments on black Trump supporters.

“I tell you, if you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black,” Biden had told Charlamagne tha God during an interview for “The Breakfast Club” on Friday morning. . .

Following the clip, Todd asked Biden adviser Symone Sanders: “Symone, let me put the question to you this way — I know, you have Joe Biden’s record and you have a long list of when he goes off the cuff, he seems to speak with sort of an older generation stereotype at times in some of this stuff. When you’ve been around him, what would be your explanation for to someone –”

“Chuck, I’m not going to do this,” Sanders interrupted. “Chuck, I’m not going to do this. I’m not going to do this. Chuck, I’m not going to do this because let me just be really clear.”

Hunter Biden’s Chinese Firm Helped Buy Out American Company to Create Jobs Overseas

Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden delivered a speech in Macomb County, Michigan, on Wednesday, slamming the practice of outsourcing. Unmentioned was his son Hunter’s ties to a Chinese government acquisition of a Michigan company that is delivering jobs to China, Mexico, Europe, and South America. . .

Biden’s pitch, though, is muffled by his son Hunter’s ties to the Chinese government.

First detailed in Peter Schweizer’s, president of the Government Accountability Institute and senior contributor at Breitbart News, 2018 New York Times bestseller Secret Empires, Hunter Biden sat on the board of directors of Bohai Harvest RST (BHR), a private equity firm he founded that was funded with $1.5 billion from the Chinese government via the Bank of China.

The dealings of BHR, from which Hunter Biden stepped down in October 2019, were most recently noted in Schweizer’s Profiles in Corruption.

Specifically, Hunter Biden sat on the board of BHR while the firm jointly acquired Michigan-based Henniges Automotive with the Chinese government-owned Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) for $600 million. . .

Former Biden White House Staffer Says Dem Nominee Is Slipping, Has Lost “Mental Acuity”; If Joe Biden Wins, Will COVID Suddenly Disappear?

By The New York Post. Joe Biden’s former White House stenographer said the Democratic presidential nominee has “lost a step” and isn’t as mentally sharp as he was four years ago.

“It is a complete difference from what he was in 2017,” Mike McCormick, who worked with the former vice president from 2011 to 2017, told the Washington Free Beacon. “He’s lost a step and he doesn’t seem to have the same mental acuity as he did four years ago.”

“He doesn’t have the energy, he doesn’t have the pace of his speaking. He’s a different guy,” McCormick said about 77-year-old Biden in the interview published Tuesday.

McCormick, whose book “Joe Biden Unauthorized” chronicles his time in the White House, told the publication that Biden had a talent for clicking with audiences and would often go off-script, something the nominee doesn’t do anymore.

“He’d just make a big joke out of it, and go straight from the hip. And notice, he’s not doing that anymore. He read that [Democratic National Committee speech] verbatim … it’s not Joe Biden anymore,” McCormick said, noting he looks “lost” during interviews now. If Joe Biden Wins, Will the Pandemic Suddenly Disappear?

By The Federalist. Here’s a prediction for the November election: if Joe Biden wins, the coronavirus pandemic will all but disappear overnight.

I know, it sounds crazy. To hear Biden tell it, the pandemic is getting worse all the time, not better, and Americans are increasingly consumed with fear and despair that they and their loved ones will die from the disease or lose their jobs or otherwise have their lives ruined, all because of Trump’s mishandling of the coronavirus. . .

But it’s easy to see why Biden is painting such a dire picture. The worse the pandemic, the longer it lasts, the more pain and suffering it causes, the stronger his case that Trump’s response has been a “failure” and that the president “doesn’t care” about the lives and livelihoods lost on his watch.

If Biden wins, expect all this doom and gloom to dissipate, even if the disease’s trends don’t change all that much. Expect, too, that Democratic governors and mayors will be far more inclined to relax lockdown orders and business closures. Why? Because keeping the country locked down in the name of the pandemic is a way for them to hurt Trump, which is the only thing they really care about. By WND. At a virtual campaign event, a visibly exhausted Joe Biden appeared to instruct his staff to adjust a teleprompter so he could answer a question.

“Move it up here,” Biden says before responding at an AFL-CIO virtual town hall in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on Labor Day.

His eyes barely open, Biden can be heard breathing heavily. . .

In a Miami television interview last week, Biden accidentally read staffer notes from a teleprompter: “Look, Venezuela topline message is.”

Biden frequently is seen in TV interviews looking down at his notes while he answers a question. In a one-one-one with Pennsylvania Democratic Gov. “We have to do more than just beat Trump. We have to keep the House of Representatives and the United States Senate,” he said at a virtual rally for the campaign of Sen. Doug Jones, D-Ala.

Trump’s Black Voter Boom ‘Could Potentially Cost’ Biden the Election

Polls showing consistent black voter support for President Trump at levels higher than those of previous Republican candidates may cost Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden the election. Biden’s backing from this key voting group is less than it was for 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and former President Barack Obama.

In surveys of black voters, pollster John Zogby pegged support for Trump from black voters at 14%. For Biden, he said that support from black voters was between 77% and 81%.

“The numbers from likely black voters are nowhere near where they should be as they fall well below 90%,” he said in his new report in Main St. – K St. IntelligenSEER.

The Media Are Lying About The Election Again

Election 2020 is shaping up to be déjà vu all over again for the news media. In an effort to help push Joe Biden over the finish line, the Washington establishment is going all-in on the easily refuted idea that there has been no change in the presidential race over the last three weeks. . .

After having botched the entire news coverage of the 2016 election, where all the “experts” repeatedly told the American public that Donald Trump had little to no chance of being the Republican nominee and even less a chance of being elected president, corporate media are back at it again, insisting all is well with the Biden campaign and the Democrats are safely on cruise control to take the White House and the Senate. Here’s the truth they are not telling you.

Biden has little enthusiasm for his candidacy. He is taking on an incumbent president with significant first-term accomplishments who has extremely energized supporters, to put it mildly. He had two major opportunities in August to generate some real excitement for his ticket and collect voters in must-win states for Democrats who had abandoned the ticket for Trump in 2016. Think Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin. . .

On August 1, Biden had a 25-point edge in the betting odds. By September 1, Trump had completely made up that deficit and the race was even among the betting public.

In Florida, a state the Trump campaign must win, Biden’s lead of 8.4 points in the RealClearPolitics average at the end of July sits now at 1.8, with the latest poll showing President Trump with a three-point lead. WATCH: Biden Adviser’s Pathetic Response to Staffers Backing Bail Fund for ‘Protestors’

Since the death of George Floyd back in May, the Biden campaign has stood alongside Black Lives Matter and Antifa rioters. Instead of condemning their actions – particularly the looting, fires and demolishing of small businesses – Biden’s team decided to defend them, saying that they’re “peaceful protestors.” Some staffers even went so far as to donate to a fund to bail the “protestors” out of jail.

Symone Sanders, a Senior Adviser to the Biden-Harris campaign, doubled down on the “peaceful protestors” point of view during an interview with Fox News’ Bret Baier on Sunday.

Baier asked if roughly a dozen campaign staffers regretted donating to a bail fund for “protestors,” especially after one of the offenders was rearrested for a “serious crime.” Of course, Sanders couldn’t answer the question.

“Bret, it was not and has not been our campaign position of bailing anyone out, so I’m unsure specifically what you’re speaking to,” she replied.

The host reminded Sanders that Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) previously encouraged Americans to donate to the Minnesota Freedom Fund, the bail fund for so-called protestors.
