Biden Suggests Using Violence to Deal with Republicans

By Daily Wire. Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden appeared to suggest using violence against Republicans on Monday in response to a question about how he as president would deal with opposition to his agenda in the Senate from Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. . .

“Joy, I know you’re one of the ones who thinks it’s naive to think we have to work together,” Biden responded. “The fact of the matter is if we can’t get a consensus, nothing happens except the abuse of power by the executive.”

“There are certain things where it just takes a brass knuckle fight,” Biden continued, later adding: “Let’s start a real physical revolution if you’re talking about it.”

2020 Democrats Look to Cut into Biden’s Lead with Black Voters

By The Hill. Democrats seeking to cut into former Vice President Joe Biden’s lead with black voters addressed the Poor People’s Campaign in Washington on Monday, each making the case that they’re best equipped to address racial economic inequality in the U.S.

Biden and eight other Democratic presidential candidates spoke at Trinity Washington University, a predominantly black school on the northeast side of the city, where they detailed how they’d address the “systemic racism” they said had led to unfair economic outcomes for racial minorities.

Over the past few days, the Democratic contenders have proposed a raft of new policy ideas, from expunging criminal records for marijuana arrests to setting up multibillion-dollar funds to support minority-run businesses.

The proposals are aimed at winning over black voters, a key Democratic constituency that will play a major role in determining the party’s nominee, particularly in the early-voting state of South Carolina. (Read more from “2020 Democrats Look to Cut into Biden’s Lead with Black Voters” HERE)

Watch: Virtuous Joe Pledges to Not Accept Campaign Information from Foreign Countries

By Breitbart. Former Vice President Joe Biden vowed not to accept damaging information about an opponent if a foreign entity offered it to him.

“I won’t be part of any attempt to undermine our democracy or public confidence in our institutions,” Biden stated in a video released by his campaign. . .

The campaign video features Trump’s interview with ABC News, in which he said he would probably both accept the information and turn it over to the FBI. . .

Biden also said the pledge requires candidates to “use no disinformation in their campaigns or tolerate outside interference.” (Read more from “Virtuous Joe Pledges to Not Accept Campaign Information from Foreign Countries” HERE)

President Trump’s Internal Polling Data from March Showed Him Behind Joe Biden in Key Battleground States

By ABC News. Data from President Donald Trump’s first internal reelection campaign poll conducted in March, obtained exclusively by ABC News, showed him losing a matchup by wide margins to former Vice President Joe Biden in key battleground states. . .

The polling data, revealed for the first time by ABC News, showed a double-digit lead for Biden in Pennsylvania 55-39 and Wisconsin 51-41 and had Biden leading by seven points in Florida. In Texas, a Republican stronghold, the numbers showed the president only leading by two points.

ABC News did not obtain the poll’s early matchups against other candidates. (Read more from “President Trump’s Internal Polling Data from March Showed Him Behind Joe Biden in Key Battleground States” HERE)

In 2006 Joe Biden Bragged About Delaware Being a Slave State, Joked About Fighting for the Confederacy

Former Vice President Joe Biden is currently on his third campaign to win the Democratic presidential nomination. His first campaign in 1988 was derailed because he plagiarized a speech and his second in 2008 was cut short because, as he described it, he lost against the “first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy” named Barack Obama. However, in 2006 in the run-up to the 2008 South Carolina primaries, the then-Delaware senator used the First State’s former status as a slave state as a reason for why he could gain support in the south during the Democratic primary. Biden did this on at least two occasions; once in a more joking manner during a speech at the Columbia Rotary Club and once in a more serious tone with Fox News’ Chris Wallace.

As reported by CBS News, then-Senator Joe Biden jokingly told the influential South Carolina group that Delaware would have fought for the confederacy in the Civil War, but could not due to geography.

“Biden was on a roll,” the reporter said. “Delaware, he noted, was a ‘slave state that fought beside the North. That’s only because we couldn’t figure out how to get to the South. There were a couple of states in the way.'” (emphasis added)

In the same speech, he also made a sympathetic reference to a Columbia Rotary Club member’s announcement “that the club would hold its annual Christmas party at the state Department of Archives and History where members could view the original copy of the state’s Articles of Secession.” (Read more from “In 2006 Joe Biden Bragged About Delaware Being a Slave State, Joked About Fighting for the Confederacy” HERE)

Biden Hits Trump for Election Interference Remarks. Trump Levels Biden with Video.

President Donald Trump’s 2020 campaign fired back at Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden on Thursday after Biden called out the president for remarks he made during an ABC News interview with George Stephanopoulos.

During the interview, Stephanopoulos, who is a former Clinton administration official, asked Trump what he would do if he was presented with information from a foreign government on a political opponent.

Trump answered the question by saying that he would be willing to listen to what the information was because “there’s nothing wrong with listening,” and later said, “If I thought there was something wrong, I’d go maybe to the FBI.”

Biden responded in a tweet, writing: “President Trump is once again welcoming foreign interference in our elections. This isn’t about politics. It is a threat to our national security. An American President should not seek their aid and abet those who seek to undermine democracy.”

The Trump campaign responded to Biden’s swipe in a tweet of their own that featured a CNN video from this February when Biden visited Munich, Germany.

‘The View’ Host Fantasizes About Trump Dying

By Breitbart. Wednesday on ABC’s “The View,” the panel discussed rumors about 2020 presidential hopeful, former Vice President Joe Biden’s health.

Co-host Meghan McCain said, “There’s a lot of things I really hate about primary politics, but one of them is health conspiracies. I hate it, it happened with my father, it happened with Michele Bachmann.”

She continued, “It happened obviously to Hillary Clinton, it’s now happening to Joe Biden, I think it’s the lowest common denominator, dirtiest form of politics. I think I’m both sides we should stop it, I think it’s disgusting. It’s actually hurtful, can be very harmful to families in that position.”

She added, “The implication that he’s slow or whatever, that’s dog-whistles about his health, and I think here and now we have to put an end to that because I really think it’s really bad for the country, and I think it’s just the lowest form of garbage.”

Co-host Joy Behar said, “Especially since he’s one cheeseburger away from keeling over himself.” (Read more from “‘The View’ Host Fantasizes About Trump Dying” HERE)

Joy Behar: Curing Cancer ‘Much More Difficult’ Without Fixing Climate Change

By Fox News. Add cancer to the long list of things that progressives say are a result of climate change.

During Wednesday’s “The View,” co-host Joy Behar warned that without attempts to halt climate change and pollution, it would be very difficult to cure cancer.

“I would say that curing cancer is going to be much more difficult when there’s so much climate change and pollutants in the environment,” she said.

The discussion moved on before Behar could explain the statement. (Read more from “Joy Behar: Curing Cancer ‘Much More Difficult’ Without Fixing Climate Change” HERE)

Joe Biden Promises to ‘Cure Cancer’ If He’s Elected President in 2020

Former Vice President and presidential hopeful Joe Biden made a promise on Tuesday to “cure cancer” if he defeats incumbent President Donald Trump in 2020.

“I promise you if I’m elected president, you’re going to see the single most important thing that changes America — we’re gonna cure cancer,” announced Biden during a campaign speech in Ottumwa, Iowa.

On Wednesday’s radio program, Glenn Beck, Pat Gray and Stu Burguiere reacted to Biden’s audacious campaign promise and discussed the Democratic front-runner’s chances against President Trump in a hypothetical general election.

“If he gets elected, Joe Biden said ‘we’re going to cure cancer.’ That’s going to be the big takeaway of his presidency,” Stu said. “We used to do that as a joke. Remember? We would run fake candidates, like Ernie Velveeta and Harold Flamblasky, and they would all promise to cure cancer. Now, Joe Biden is really doing it.” . . .

“Joe Biden is going to cure cancer — he’s already cured it, really. You just have to elect him before he’ll tell you how he’s going to cure it,” he joked. (Read more from “Joe Biden Promises to ‘Cure Cancer’ If He’s Elected President in 2020” HERE)

He Can’t Help Himself: Joe Biden Plagiarizes Disgraced Michael Avenatti

By PJ Media. Joe Biden just can’t seem to help himself when it comes to inappropriately quoting other people. First it was in law school, then it was his first presidential campaign. Most recently, his campaign plagiarized portions of his new climate platform. But, Tuesday during his campaign stop in Iowa, Biden was once again demonstrated his lack of originality.

Former Vice President Joe Biden was applauded Tuesday by Democrats in Iowa when he slammed President Trump with his own twist on the president’s famous campaign slogan.

“He says, ‘let’s make America great again,’” Biden said of Trump in Ottumwa. “Let’s make America America again.”

Turns out, that’s not the first time voters have heard that line: Michael Avenatti, the anti-Trump lawyer who briefly promoted a possible Democratic presidential run of his own this year before being indicted on multiple charges, repeatedly used that same slogan in public remarks as he pushed back against Trump. . .

“I am extremely happy that @JoeBiden has decided to enter the race,” Avenatti tweeted at the time. “He offers Dems the very best chance in 2020, especially in key states. He has the fight, intelligence and fortitude to beat Trump and begin to make America, America again. He has my enthusiastic support.”

By The Hill. Former Vice President Joe Biden leads President Trump by 13 points nationally, according to the latest Quinnipiac University survey.

In a national head-to-head matchup, the poll found Biden taking 53 percent against 40 percent for Trump, with the poll’s assistant director describing it as a “landslide” margin.

South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg (D) and Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) lead Trump by 5 points, with each posting a 47 to 42 split. (Read more from “Biden Leads Trump by ‘Landslide Proportions’ in New National Poll” HERE)

Joe Biden Flips on Abortion Stance

By Breitbart. Former Vice President Joe Biden declared his opposition to the Hyde Amendment on Thursday, just days after his campaign reaffirmed his support of it.

Biden revealed his new position during a speech at the IWillVote Gala hosted by The Democratic National Committee in Atlanta, Georgia. The Hyde Amendment prevents taxpayer funds from being used to fund abortions.

Biden said that although he supported the Hyde Amendment as a United States Senator, he realized that “times have changed.”

“For many years as U.S. Senator, I have supported the Hyde Amendment like many many others have,” he said. . .

“I’ve been struggling with the problems that Hyde now presents,” he said, arguing that if the federal government was going to start providing universal health care, it would need to fund abortions. (Read more from “Joe Biden Flips on Abortion Stance” HERE)

Joe Biden Just Had the Worst Week of His 2020 Campaign

By Business Insider. Former Vice President Joe Biden’s campaign is having its worst week since launching in April.

Biden was in hot water even before his campaign officially launched in April, after four women accused him of unwanted touching and invading their personal space.

The former vice president didn’t make things any smoother when he released a video that critics deemed a ” non-apology apology,” in which Biden said he would try to do better going forward, but did not explicitly apologize for his past conduct.

Still, he surged in the polls as soon as he entered the race thanks in part to his longstanding popularity within the Democratic Party, his name recognition, and a strong alliance with former President Barack Obama.

But the last few days have been a test for the frontrunner’s campaign, as a host of controversies over his biggest weaknesses make the former vice president vulnerable to criticism from some of the most prominent factions of the Democratic Party. Biden, Now 76, Attacked His Older Opponent’s Age During Senate Run

By Fox News. Former Vice President Joe Biden is one of the oldest candidates ever to run for president, but in 1972, he repeatedly attacked his opponent’s age in order to be elected as the Delaware senator, a report found Monday.

Long before the 76-year-old launched his third bid for the presidency, a 29-year-old Biden was running for Senate against the two-term incumbent, 62-year-old Sen. Cale Boggs, R-Md. And, his campaign made his youthfulness prominent in print ads. . .

It wasn’t just in print ads that Biden scrutinized Boggs for his age. The young Democrat told the press that Boggs “lost that twinkle in his eyes” and that he’s “just not a fighter.” He even spread rumors that he would retire two years after his reelection.

Nearly 50 years later, Biden’s age is now being scrutinized by 72-year-old President Trump, who repeatedly has referred to the former vice president as “Sleepy Joe.” Meantime, a fellow Democrat, Mayor Pete Buttigieg of South Bend, Ind., called for a “new generation of leadership” in Washington. Joe Biden Accused of Plagiarizing Parts of New Climate Platform

By Fox News. Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden is facing claims that his campaign plagiarized at least five parts of the climate platform released on Tuesday.

The apparent similarities were first flagged on Twitter by a progressive activist. By Tuesday afternoon, most of the examples in the Biden campaign platform had been updated online to include attribution to a third party.

“The paragraph in Joe Biden’s climate plan about carbon capture and sequestration includes language that is remarkably similar to items published previously by the Blue Green Alliance and the Carbon Capture Coalition,” Josh Nelson, the vice president of CREDOmobile, tweeted earlier in the day.

. . .

Biden’s platform said, “Carbon capture, use, and storage (CCUS) is a rapidly growing technology that has the potential to create economic benefits for multiple industries while significantly reducing carbon dioxide emissions.”

2020: Biden Snagged in Spygate?

By Breitbart. Vice President Joe Biden was documented as being present in the Oval Office for a conversation about the controversial Russia probe between President Obama, disgraced ex-FBI chief James Comey, Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates and other senior officials including Obama’s national security advisor Susan Rice.

In an action characterized as “odd” last year by then-Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, Rice memorialized the confab in an email to herself describing Obama as starting “the conversation by stressing his continued commitment to ensuring that every aspect of this issue is handled by the Intelligence and law enforcement communities ‘by the book.’”

Grassley, in a letter to Rice, commented: “It strikes us as odd that, among your activities in the final moments on the final day of the Obama administration, you would feel the need to send yourself such an unusual email purporting to document a conversation involving President Obama and his interactions with the FBI regarding the Trump/Russia investigation.”

Grassley noted the unusual timing of the email sent by Rice to herself more than two weeks after the January 5, 2017 White House meeting on the Russia investigation, but mere hours before she vacated the White House for the incoming Trump administration. . .

“If the timestamp is correct, you sent this email to yourself at 12:15 pm, presumably a very short time before you departed the White House for the last time,” Grassley wrote to Rice in a letter seeking clarification on a number of issues regarding the email and the Oval Office briefing at which Biden was documented as being present. Obama’s Secret Struggle to Punish Russia

By The Washington Post. . .The material was so sensitive that CIA Director John O. Brennan kept it out of the President’s Daily Brief, concerned that even that restricted report’s distribution was too broad. The CIA package came with instructions that it be returned immediately after it was read. To guard against leaks, subsequent meetings in the Situation Room followed the same protocols as planning sessions for the Osama bin Laden raid. . .

Over that five-month interval, the Obama administration secretly debated dozens of options for deterring or punishing Russia, including cyberattacks on Russian infrastructure, the release of CIA-gathered material that might embarrass Putin and sanctions that officials said could “crater” the Russian economy.

But in the end, in late December, Obama approved a modest package combining measures that had been drawn up to punish Russia for other issues — expulsions of 35 diplomats and the closure of two Russian compounds — with economic sanctions so narrowly targeted that even those who helped design them describe their impact as largely symbolic.
